We wanted an honest assessment of our beloved weeping cherry that had multiple limbs that appeared to be dying and had splitting trunk bark. Our fear was that the recommendation would be to cut it down.
Tim spent considerable time looking at the tree, its roots, and canopy from multiple angles. He was very thoughtful and presented us with a good news/bad news summary of the problem. The unexpected diagnosis was the 30 yr old tree was suffering from lack of water. We'd imagined an infestation of insects, fungus or something else invading it!! Nope...it was just dying of thirst!
Tim's knowledge and expertise saved us from purchasing unnecessary treatments for the tree. His solution to try to return it to its prior health and beauty was simply a soaking hose and thick wood chips mulch. Further, to prevent our Redbud and Norwalk Maple from the same fate, Tim suggested we install the same solution around them. He recommended reassessing the tree in the Fall and again next Spring to see if, and how much, its growth pattern had changed.
We truly appreciate Tim's professionalism and his easy way of explaining the challenges our weeping cherry is facing. No hard sell. No promise of a 100% return to its early beauty. Just an honest and knowledge-based evaluation and a straightforward plan for the next year. This is the kind of company we value and recommend for anyone with tree questions or forest issues. I started seeing Dr. Hampe this month after vetting reviews of this clinic before the holidays and I am so very impressed. It’s a breathe of fresh air having a practitioner actually listen to your concerns and not just shuffle you around, spend ample amount of time with you during a visit, and give you clarity about the next steps in managing your health goals. This year I decided to forego traditional insurance policies since they don’t cover much anyways. I’m pay out of pocket and I have a catastrophic plan for emergencies. As a cash payer, Now I don’t have to wait for insurance to approve labs, exams, procedures and so far it has been cheaper and more cost effective than the traditional route.
These ladies working here have been nothing but authentic and kind to me through the whole process. They have done everything they said they would do. Administration work is spot on. I can contact my doctor anytime with an app. I feel cared for. I feel seen. Don’t hesitate to try this kind of patient care out….its absolutely refreshing and eye opening :)

Phil is the real thing, he understands Chinese medicine and his practicing of the craft is impeccable, he's been doing in for nearly 30 years.. I come uber stressed and leave totally calmed and aligned. It is quite incredible. Treatment is in a quiet room in a calm lovely house (his wife Pat is an acclaimed massage therapist) a few minutes from WSM.... and he plays lovely music while you are needled! I highly recommend this practitioner as a integral part of any health routine.

This veterinary clinic is fabulous! From the front desk, scheduling, vet assistants and of course, the vet Dr Wheat, were all wonderful, professional, knowledgeable, gentle, kind and caring. I highly recommend them for pet care. So happy I was referred to them by my neighbor.
Place feels more institutional these days and I hear they were bought out, but they still retain some very good Doctors (Chow, Stigmeier). They should file insurance without question like they used to. They used to know me and know these things. Thus not 5 stars. Good higher end frame selection like Maui Jim's.

Her work is serene and systematic, ensuring thorough coverage of back and shoulder regions. Long holds with barely-there hand contact (energy work) are hypnotizing and regenerative. She also performed some gluteal/hip releases that were very helpful.
Called them in a panic on Wednesday morning. The night before our old water heater had caught on fire and was obviously in need to be replaced. Mr. Sparrow came out shortly after the call, took a look at everything, asked about who was living in the house to get an idea of need, gave me some options, and was on his way. The next morning I had a nice Essency water heater installed. It’s great! Great service and quick response. A+

I’ve been a patient here for 8 years and have nothing but positive things to say about the practice. It is always clean and modern, the customer service is impeccable, and Dr. Megumi and Dr.Ben are both fantastic. Both are very knowledgeable and kind and the staff is great too. Throughout my time as a patient I have had their dental plan, my own dental insurance and been uninsured for a time but the pricing is always clear and transparent. Would absolutely recommend. They also have great chapstick.
I've seen Hannah French for a couple of years now at Ceremony, and she's the best. Professional, thorough, considerate, plus genuinely kind and lovely to spend time with. I can't recommend her more highly, especially if you're a blended blonde who likes a little rock & roll in their cuts - Hannah rocks that combo.

I recently moved to the area and took my golden in for grooming at Love Overboard for the first time. They did such a great job cleaning up his “grinch feet” and feathers. The staff are all so kind, you can tell they love animals. I will definitely be back.
I'm so glad I decided to start coming here. I've had my haircut by Grace a few times now, and I've always left looking fantastic. She is super amazing at her craft, fun to talk to, and very easygoing. Grace is fantastic, but the entire staff is amazing too! They recently moved locations, and while I didn't get her name, the person who designed the space was present, and it was clear the amount of care and time she had put in to designing everything. This is a truly awesome business that cares about its customer base. I won't be going anywhere else unless I move far away!
I got 14 inches chopped off, very pleased with the result. The price was $35 which seems much higher than what is normally charged (based on the reviews) Maybe it was because I had so much hair but Im not sure.

Great Vet, super experienced and thorough. Being my vet for over 20 years, multiple pets, I have always had confidence that my animals get only the best of care. I have Never had Dr. Anderson be dismissive with any question or concern that was legitimate. The staff at CAH are super professional and always courteous. In my opinion, the Vet Costs are on range with the RDU area, which can be higher (as expected).
