Tara is a one-of-a-kind practitioner. What I found most valuable about Tara’s guidance is that my issues and symptoms didn’t, for her, need to add up to one perfect little picture to go inside a perfect box so I could be diagnosed and medicated accordingly as is the western practice. She listened to my struggles and gave me concrete, easy-to-understand guidance, while keeping my treatment plan flexible as I developed new symptoms, routines, found myself in new circumstances, etc.I feel that the title of “acupuncturist” hardly covers it regarding all the roles Tara has taken on when it comes to helping me heal. Tara has a gift - she asks the questions that help paint a full picture of what is needed. In working with her, I’ve been able to greatly reduce (almost eliminate) chronic migraines and sleep disturbances. I am beyond thankful for her.

I've been seeing Tara almost monthly for a couple years now. She's knowledgeable about a vast array of health concerns. But she'll tell you if she doesn't have expertise in a particular area, and then provide alternative guidance or referral. Her rates are very fair and reasonable, which an initial intake rate and a reduced rate for return sessions. She's warm, patient and compassionate, but also light hearted and joyful. I've especially found great success coming to her with knee and shoulder pain. Sometimes I just pop in for some general renewal and leave feeling gloriously refreshed. I imagine I'll be seeing her for a long, long time.
