I grew up terrified of the dentist, and essentially avoided visits through most of my 20s because I didn’t understand for example how I could go in for a check up and feel pain afterwards due to some poking, prodding and rough handling - I also didn’t take very good care of my teeth so had a lot of work done as a kid. Dr Lopez has completely changed my mind, partly with his professionalism in clearly explaining all that’s happening (preparing me on what may or may not hurt) and being gentle with my mouth/teeth but also because his jovial and approachable demeanor makes me feel so at ease. In fact, all the other doctors and dental hygienists are gentle in touch and good natured (friendly and professional). The front desk is also very helpful and accommodating when it comes to setting up/changing appointments and discussing insurance/payment. And I love the music they play (caught some UB40, Madonna and Whitney Houston today!)
