EVERYONE at SPAH is a delight to encounter and Dr. Doyle is superb. He is so knowledgeable about our Dog and willing to explain what is going on to me. Zak had a wealth of information for us before Dr. Doyle's arrival. I am so glad to have SPAH and so wonderful for their care for my dog and how they relate to ME!
I had a scheduled appointment, but when I arrived the receptionist did not have it on the calendareven though I had been given that time over the phone when I called in.
Fortunately, someone had just canceled an appointment with Dr. Elise so they were Able to fit me in. My original appointment was with Dr. Doyle, but I like Dr. Elise also that was no problem. I had driven quite a distance to get to the appointment so I was really upset that they didn’t have it now, but the girls were very accommodating when they had the cancellation for Dr. Elise. So all is well that ends well!
Our little cat needed sedation and sadly had a dangerous reaction to the meds. The doctor did an outstanding job making sure our little guy made it through. The vet tech literally sat on the floor for HOURS with heated blankets, mittens for feet and ears and held our cat and soothed him while his temperature and heart rate came back up. The doctor phoned us hourly with reports. It was the first time our cat was sedated so no-one knew he would have this reaction and we are thankful that Southpoint Animal Hospital is our vet. Everyone who works there is kind and goes out of their way for our pets. Thank you!!!
