This is a really good practice. I first came here in 2014 and started seeing Dr. ter Avest. He is excellent. On my most recent visit I saw Dr. Tessa Taylor and she was also excellent. She and her team (including hygienist Carrie) evaluated my dental situation, told me that I needed a crown and at my request sent me a copy of my dental radiographs. My brother owned a dental crown manufacturing company and is married to a dentist. I called them and they concurred with Dr. Taylor's recommendations.

I have been going to Dr. Ter Avest and his team since I moved to NC in 1992. All of my adult kids now do as well. Dr. Ter Avest and all of the staff, especially Heather, have been amazing for decades!

Dr. Avest is an awesome dentist! I've been coming here for over 10 years now and love the relaxed atmosphere so much that I'm going to start brining my daughter here too. Recently, I somehow got some beef jerky stuck under one of my teeth on a Friday when the office is usually closed. I was in so much discomfort that I contacted Dr. Avest on his cell phone and offered to pay him double to see me on his day off. He took the time to see me immediately and didn't even charge me. He just wanted to make sure I was taken good care of. Simply amazing!
