Had Activate Pressure Washing out to cleane side of house under oak trees and to clean cement driveway, patios, and sidewalks. Wow, what a difference. Work was fast and the guys made it look like new. Garage doors and even house exterior doors really look amazing.

They helped us with our settlement against FedEx in 2021 and got us settled within like 7 months and even got twice as much as what they had anticipated them giving us. Austex is awesome! We run multiple companies, and they are always ready to deliver for us. On one occasion they even deliver and picked up on the weekends (Sunday). Mike and Michelle are good people, always wanting to help their customers.

Start with this: best haircut I’ve had in Austin. (Tori also goes by Victoria) It’s also nice to not be breathing in chemicals for once. I misread the site and thought I was booked with the wrong person and overcharged. Was sort of miffed, left a review, then the owner called and was so nice and explained everything, plus gave me a refund on some services that I didn’t need to be charged for, and she went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable that things were good. The nicest people I have ever met and they really didn’t have to be. ❤️

Fresh after a Dallas highlight that fried my hair I sped to Austin because Micky at Swoon (Founder/Lead Stylist) is a hair health expert who has rescued my locks after quite a few reckless hair color experiments on my part. She has also made healthy hair and education a trademark priority for all stylists at Swoon, so I trust everyone she trusts to work there. I had not previously met Lacey, but booked with her as she thankfully had an opening that fit my hectic schedule. (These are top-tier stylists in high-demand, so I advise booking in advance!)
Lacey was extremely patient, listened carefully, explained everything in detail, and was both professional and empathetic. She knew exactly what needed to be done. When I walked in my hair was basically orange straw. I left with baby-soft beautiful angel-blonde hair. Lacey was also super intuitive and knew exactly how to formulate the color I wanted, even though I was speaking word salad. And frankly it was just a nice visit. Lacey immediately made my hair anxiety disappear and the Swoon environment is welcoming, beautiful, and embodies a functional design that incorporates both green space and modern art.
I pre-booked my next appointment and decided I will travel to Austin for all my future hair appointments. Swoon is worth it, and I can’t believe I even considered going to a different salon. Won’t make that mistake again! Thanks Micky! Thanks Lacey!
Huge salon with lots of available hairdressers. I love being able to book online without having to talk to a human. It makes things so convenient. The front desk greeted me and offered me a drink while we waited. And the owner walks around and makes sure everyone is comfortable! I was waiting on my daughter and she offered me a coffee. Jaden, our hairstylist, was prompt, easy to talk to, and so friendly. She found me a seat so I could sit next to my daughter and constantly held great conversation with my daughter. Overall, I love the whole customer experience!

Hair House is the actual best salon in Austin imho. I’ve been in Austin 6 years and I’ve bopped around in search of a salon that was equal parts welcoming, cool, and full of talent. The space itself is charming and unique, feels clean and well designed. Parking is always easy right out front. Kallie has been coloring my hair for almost a year now and I’m obsessed every time. I can’t recommend Hair House or Kallie more tbh.

I had the best experience with Zane!!! I had never been to a "real salon" before and was anxiously excited for my appointment. I got some dimensional highlights and a long haircut, and this experience was one of the best/most comfortable experiences I've ever had with a hairstylist. Firstly, the salon itself is so warm and welcoming. You never feel out of place and everyone I interacted with is so incredibly kind. The seats are also very comfortable. Zane was extremely knowledgeable and happily answered all of my questions. It made me absolutely confident that they knew what they were doing and I loved learning more about haircare/coloring/styling. Truly an artist AND chemist haha! They also were super precise and constantly made sure that I was comfortable with what they were doing and I liked it! They were even sweet enough to schedule a follow-up appointment to make some color adjustments after we were done because I was so indecisive and didn't truly know what I wanted until after I saw the end product and realized I wanted more highlights than I initially asked for. Zane also continued to answer my questions after my appointment was over when I was figuring out what color-safe products to use. I'm telling y'all, Zane is SO KNOWLEDGEABLE. The prices were also super fair and Zane made sure to break everything down for me, so I knew exactly what I was paying for and made sure I was comfortable before we started the process. Absolutely no scamming here! I will 100% be returning to Zane specifically for touch-ups and additional cuts. I truly recommend Zane at the Craig Piatti Salon to anyone in Austin looking for a fresh cut or some creative colors!

This is truly why I am leaving this review for Tim Beard @ Beard's Barbershop. I have had the pleasure of getting my haircut by Tim for over 6 years now. Tim embodies the definition of professionalism and he is attention to detail surpasses many other barbers that I have had the chance to sit in the chair with.. Many of these barbers are well known and respected, although Tim just one up's their level. I guess its true that their is levels to everything, he just happens to be on the very top level. I have been going to different barbers and shops for the past few years. My first time to Bearded Barber was a great experience. Eli cut my hair, and even with my poor guidance with direction, he did exactly what I wanted. I left the shop able to go back to work without the irritating cut hairs that linger until you're able to shower.
Needless to say, I will be back!
BEST barbershop in Austin, hands down. This place is a hidden gem. It's a relaxed, no-frills environment. I've been going here for years and cannot say enough good things about this place. Got my haircut here for both my wedding and law school graduation and they knocked it out the park, as usual.
Mikey and all of the guys here are fantastic at what they do. I'm always impressed by the level of attention/detail they put into even the easiest men's haircuts. And to top it off, they provide a really fair price. You're doing yourself a huge disservice if you go anywhere else in Austin.
Came into Austin to get away from the power outage in Houston. Called K&Qs to ask if my Papa could get in. They told me have him come now, no wait. Fast forward, I’m in the hotel waiting for my grandfather to return. In walks my Papa looking fresh and smiling. Raving about the great service and atmosphere. Great haircut and good wholesome feel for a Saturday in the shop. I was so happy to hear of the wonderful and pleasant experience. We now have a place for him to get cut if ever we are in Austin again. Thanks guys, got Papa looking like his GQ self. Love it
Emmanuel (Manny aka Fresh) does the job right for me, but i’m pretty sure if you walk into the shop w/o an appt., anyone of their barbers can do you justice (i recommend making an appt. tho) the vibes give me that “Papi-Shampoo-East-Coast-Urban” Barbershop energy where everyone will make you feel welcomed and also have you “feeling yourself” when you walk out those doors. Def. will recommend to the my gents looking for quality. Salute!

Gun Kim is a master with the scissors and trimmer, he’s extremely meticulous and genuinely works on his craft with every client. I reached out to him several months ago to prepare for my wedding, he gave me great advice on my hair and beard and we slowly worked to the look I was after with every session. I’m looking forward to continue to working with him.
Men typically don’t pamper themselves, but if you’re in need, try the full service with Gun. The attention to detail with the blade, the rotating towel work, head massage, and overall experience is worth every penny.
The place can get loud as it’s a small shop, but they also include beer, wine or cold brew which just add a bit of class to the overall experience.

I’ve been going to Samm for years now and she always has given me the best cuts and has always been able to translate what I show her I want in person. Another thing about her haircuts I’d never experienced before is how beautifully they grow out each time. So happy I met her.

I had never gotten a tan before and she answered all of my questions, and it turned out great! I got a tan for my wedding so I was nervous about it looking good. I did a couple before the wedding and it was perfect!
I went in on Sunday with the goal to try and even out my outside tan and get rid of tan lines for my elopement soon! I met Kiersten who let me know it was her first day on the job! She was very patient with all my questions and made some great suggestions. My first sessions was great I did a level 2 bed for 10 minutes and tried a packet of lotion that smelled amazing. Something Coco. I really couldn’t believe it was her first day- she did amazing! The tanning salon is clean, priced at what a tanning salon is. You typically sign up for a membership that is cancelable whenever you’d like. It is cheaper to do that than individual sessions. It also offers other services inside of your package so I have two spray tans and unlimited bed 2 and 3 sessions with around an $85/month package. I’ve gone back now today for another session in Bed 2 for 12 minutes and used a DHA lotion (bought the bottle) and I really like this lotion better. I look darker, not so yellow. Emulates a great spray tan more. I have learned I don’t like lotions with glitter unless I’d be going to an event but all the products I’ve tried are nice! So far, very happy with my experiences!
I have been using Hush Hush Tan for several years and they are definitely my go-to! The staff has always been extremely friendly, and their spray tans are top notch! I usually go for a custom tan, but this most recent time I went for the Brazilian, and it's absolutely gorgeous! It looks so natural, and even the dreaded spots on the hands, and lines on the knuckles are nowhere to be seen! They are so professional, and I'm always so comfortable with them, which, having someone walk in on you naked and meeting them for the first time is generally awkward, but not here! The ladies are great! They have all of the amenities that you need, and I purchased their c-string wire thong a while back, and use it every time. I have NO lines whatsoever, and their products help to combat the fade! I've never had to worry about looking like a leopard when my tan fades, because it's so gradual and even.
Every at this location has been so friendly and helpful! I was interested in their red light therapy initially and emailed. Response was less than an hr later and full of great details! They use one of the best on the market-Gen 8 PlatinumLED and have both vertical (2 panel) and horizontal (4 panel) set ups. During a visit i asked about the self tanning options and I got a tour of the various machines and details on how they work- i had never done a booth before and felt way more comfortable and confident in giving it a go on my next visit :) highly recommend this location for their great customer service and equipment!

Moncheri is the absolute best. David is incredible at his craft. He's so knowledgeable about nail types, shapes, and even gives me recommendations about colors! I've been doing dip manicures for a few months now and I love coming to Moncheri. The prices are super affordable for Austin and the vibe is great! It's a very welcoming and positive atmosphere. They're just finishing up a huge remodel and I know it'll be incredible! I recommend everyone come here! I've found my nail place as long as I'm in Austin Parking is on the street or validated in the garage around the back.
I've been here a few times now and I've appreciated the quick service. The majority of the time I've come without a reservation but my group of three was able to be seen quickly and the staff there is very friendly. The first time was just for a pedicure and my feet were in pretty rough condition. After treating myself to their 'organic' pedicure I felt like I had new feet and questioned why I had not made this a regular occurrence. I decided to go for a mani-pedi on my most recent visit and got pressured into getting color for my toes but not for my hands. I was told that I'd get the 'movie star' treatment for my fingers and definitely got them buffed and smoothed out, so much so that it didn't feel like my own fingers. My second organic pedicure went just as well but with the added color but it dried quickly. This was my first time getting color but honestly? I like it and when, not if I go back to get a pedicure I'll get color again.
I have been shopping around for a good nail salon here in South Austin, and finally found the one. The salon is clean, with a fun and relaxing ambiance. My nails turn out beautifully every time. Perfectly shaped, never too thick, and always last until my next appt (every 3-4 weeks). Jessica and Nathan are super sweet and do excellent work, and have the best prices in town. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
Zen did my nails. And I literally started to fall asleep. He does such a good job, massage your hands after wards, and have conversation with you. I highly recommend coming here. His wife also does a excellent job at what she does.

I booked the Hangout Pedi (buff shine) with Kiara M. I love the vibes, the music + how easygoing Kiara is. I felt at ease as soon as I entered the salon + I was immediately acknowledged/greeted.
I love that this salon gives each employee two days off in a row (good work-life balance) as well as focuses on ethical business practices + product selections. So many places have such a low-morale environment that a client can sense it, but I’m thankful that ‘Cure Studios is not one of them!

Alyssa was amazing! Paid so much attention to detail and was just so friendly to talk to! She even helped me pick out a color and style which I love so much. Also the peppermint sugar scrub was so nice. Both the pedicure and manicure were fantastic. I have searched for a nail salon in Austin since the day I was born (kidding, but not). I can confidently say I’ve found THE place. Everything is so clean, fresh, calm, and relaxing.
I wanted to wait a couple of weeks before leaving a review just to see how my nails held up. Somehow they still look like I just got them done?????!!!!! I work in construction, so my hands/nails get beat up daily (Only good lighting pic I have is holding up paint samples lol). But, just LOOK at how good my nails still look!!! It’s been 2 full weeks. My pedicure was also amazing.
The staff actually seems like they are enjoying what they do, and the environment as a whole is just a good vibe. Mychelle (owner) is so sweet and you can tell she cares deeply about her business and the people. I can’t wait to try out the head spa & permanent jewelry. Please give this place a try!!!

Marell is the best nail tech I've ever had. She's very friendly, attentive, and makes sure she gets your desired look right. If you have any issues, she covers repairs within a week of service. While this is a home based tech, she has a completely separate space on her property where services take place. There are complimentary snacks, drinks, and wine. You can choose to listen to music or watch a movie/show on the tv. She does pedicures, gel manicures, and acrylic. I've been coming to her for almost a year about every 3 or so weeks and have never had any issues.
Had an amazing experience with Mary from Sabi brow & beauty. It was my first lash lift and tint and I didn't know what to expect, the Sabi brow and beauty team was super knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable before during and after the service, not to mention my lashes look insane! I haven't had to wear mascara since and it has been incredible! The establishment itself is super cute and cozy, not huge but very clean and multiple chairs for several folks to receive services at the same time. Will definitely be coming back to try out some of the other services like the brow threading!

Having just moved to Austin, in the Mueller area, I am so fortunate to have found Haute salon, and specifically, Becky who took the time to figure out a color match for my highlights and base color, before masterfully highlighting my hair. For over 20 years, one person has kept my blonde highlights and root color consistent. That’s hard to do. Becky took the time to really look at the dimensions of my color and also researched the previous products and color used on my hair to come up with an amazing match - exceeding my expectations! I also had the opportunity to meet colleagues Evan and Stasia who were equally friendly, and compassionate and Evan also offered perspective. It’s clear they have a genuine collaborative working relationship which speaks volumes for each of them, the salon owner and the salon culture. Ann Marie is the best!! Her space and her demeanor are so soothing and you can tell how much she cares about the client experience. She wants your facial to be exactly what you need whether that's more relaxing, focusing on a certain skin concern, or incorporating more Reiki. Each facial is different and tailored to you. She also approaches your skin and wellness holistically. Because of her, I've implemented changes in my habits (drinking water, supplements, etc.) that have improved my skin immensely. She comes highly recommended!

Even though it was just a facial, she must have calmed my entire nervous system because when she was done, I’d felt as though I’d had a full-body massage. I went to much fancier acupuncture places in CA, but none of those acupuncturists' skill is comparable to Dr. Siu's. Mimi is kind and professional too. I made a last-minute appointment with her but didn’t realize I booked with the wrong studio (one I usually go with a similar name) until I showed up at the wrong place. I called to cancel and expressed my apologies as it was completely my mistake. I offered to pay her full price for her time since she came all the way in for the appointment, but she only charged me for the cancellation fee. I’m mortified by my mistake and truly appreciate her customer service.
As a breast cancer survivor, all you want to do is have some sort of normalcy returned. Our brains are programmed to see ourselves a certain way and a mastectomy is an amputation. It's insult to injury if you lose your nipples during this process. After 7 surgeries, 5 months of chemo and 2 months of daily radiation, getting my 3D nipple tattoos was not only something I wanted, but it also symbolized the end of my active journey with cancer. Marge was recommended to me by my Reconstruction Surgeon (who had herself had Marge do her perfect eyebrows) and I am SO glad she was. Marge has a personal passion for restoring her Clients confidence through her art and exhibits a commitment to excellent results. She takes her responsibility to her Clients very seriously and you can tell she truly cares. I would absolutely recommend her to any of my friends, loved ones and fellow survivors.
I had such a GREAT experience with LUX! I had a glam session for hair and makeup for an engagement party. The stylist and makeup artist met with me directly at the venue. They were on time, well-prepared and super nice. They did an amazing job in making me feel comfortable, and my hair and make up turned truly amazing-better than I expected! I just had the BEST experience with Carrie. I came in with really aggravated, reactive skin and I walked out with my skin already looking and feeling much better. She has a calm, warm energy and is deeply experienced in her art. She custom mixed two masques for me including one with fresh goats yoghurt - I haven't experienced anything like that before. Anyhow after my treatment, and with a simple skincare regimen she recommended, my skin is almost totally healed after only two days. Really remarkable. Oh and her treatment room is the most beautiful space. I can't recommend her highly enough.

I went here on a Saturday around 2pm walk-in for a second earlobe piercing. You could tell the place was really clean. The wait wasn't too bad, just three people in front of me. You start off by choosing your jewelry and signing some forms after. When it's time to get pierced, you can bring 1-2 guests in with you. Jade pierced my ears and it didn't hurt much at all. Pleasant experience from start to end. Although they do give longer posts to accommodate swelling, so I have to go back eventually for shorter ones. I would recommend this place. I had some follow-up questions and no one answered the phone, so I emailed instead.
One of the best shops in all of Texas. You cannot go wrong with the level of talent contained within its walls. If you are serious about tattoos, this is your spot. Thoroughly professional and the shop experience speaks for itself. Been going to Steve Byrne for a few years now, outstanding fellow! Got my first tattoo here last October, and another one last month. Donny designed two GORGEOUS tattoos for me. I gave him a vague idea and some reference pictures and he managed to turn it into something unique and beautiful. His designs lined up so well with the vision in my head, almost like he could read my mind! Everyone in the shop was so friendly and professional. I was really nervous about my first one but everyone was so chill and welcoming it ended up being a great experience! Donny, Kasha, Brooke, and Manny were all so calm it totally erased my anxiety! I appreciate that they patiently explained everything to me and answered all my questions! Will definitely be returning at some point :)

I got my kids' ears pierced at Diablo Rojo and I cannot rave enough about what a fantastic experience we had. Although it was a very long wait and that is typical (plan to go a few hours before they close to even get in!) and you *have to have your id and the kids' birth certificates*, it is so worth it. We worked with Kate and Gill and they were both extremely warm, fun, friendly, and emotionally intelligent about validating the kids' nerves and excitement. Gill did the piercings and treated the kids with the utmost respect, acknowledging that he constantly needed THEIR consent and trust (not just mom's) to do this safely and well. He walked them through every step and explained he would never trick them and they were so relaxed because of the dignity and clarity he provided them. Such a pro. Getting a piercing can be a lasting memory and I'm so glad it will be such a positive one.
I had a wonderful experience at Atomic Tattoo when getting a septum piercing. The gentleman at the desk was pleasant, the shop clean and pretty damn sensory safe. I believe my piercer's name was Kaitiyn, and she was incredible!

Tried to unclog the kitchen sink for 3 days before calling for help. Moore & More was able to make it out to me the same day luckily and they were professional from the beginning. They communicate well, and when Josh was here he was equally awesome. We're pretty sensitive to keeping the house clean and Josh did great putting on and off his shoe covers going in and out of the house. Best part was that we had a leaky faucet outside and he quoted a price for the repair and got it finished - the cool part was that he realized the faucet didn't need to be replaced and didn't charge us extra for it. I took my housekey there to be copied after having a bad experience elsewhere, and I was very impressed at how much they cared, and at the excellent result - my key copies work just like the original - What a pleasure to not feel that copies have to be worse. They can also copy and re-program car keys! (No need to go to the dealer.) And, I was very impressed that the lady I spoke with knew several languages, including some Spanish and Arabic.

I booked a cleaning service from Alexa from Texas couple of weeks ago because I needed a good clean up before thanksgiving party. Navigating through the website was pretty easy, but I also called to get some specific quotes because I needed carpet and dining chairs cleaned. I got a reasonable quote right there and then and booked my service for same week. On the scheduled day everything went smoothly, they showed up on time. I’m very happy with the results! We needed our carpet stretched between our bedroom doorways and our living room because we had big lumps due to walking back and forth and a medical lift equipment we use for our son to transport him back and forth. They did an amazing job on our 3 wool/viscose area rugs and 3 Turkish runners. Our large area wool rug had doggie stains that we just could not get out. Wool and viscose rugs are hard to clean. Tim managed to get the stains out beautifully. The Turkish rugs are brighter and look like new. Great job! The cost was a bit higher, but with door to door service and excellent results - it was worth it. They even move furniture and roll them up and package them for you. And they were returned back cleaned when he said they would be too.
The folks at Sunshine are the BEST! Super professional and also extremely nice. We tasked them with getting cat spray smell out of a leather couch- no easy feat. (Tip- don't wait too long to get upholstery cleaned if this happens to you!) Very happy with their service and highly recommend.

The team was responsive and professional! It was very easy to schedule the cleaning; I filled out the online form on Friday, and they made it out on the following Monday. John did a great job; he placed guards around corners to keep the equipment from damaging any walls, and made our dusty carpets smell fresh again! The cleaning occurred during a very rainy week, so with the high humidity, it took a day or so for the carpets to dry out completely (without a dry-vac pass), which we expected.
Daniel was also very helpful when I asked questions and offered great advice on how to take care of our carpets!

Having our downstairs floor get ruined by a water leak was quite an ordeal, dealing with insurance and several contractors. The easiest part about it was working with Derek and the H&H team (which is funny because the floor was the biggest/most important job). He was patient while we worked out what fit our budget. He was professional at every step and had our best interests at heart, helping us to convince insurance to cover what they were supposed to (e.g., living expenses while we were out of the house). Floors look great. Highly recommend!
My wife and I worked with Chad and his team to replace the flooring throughout our entire new construction home (recommended by our realtor Raj Sahoo). This required demolition of tile throughout the first floor, and carpet removal in every bedroom. The job was estimated to take 8 days and started just a few days after we closed around Christmas. Chad was excellent to work with from beginning to end. We did not want shoe molding and he suggested undercutting the baseboards and caulking to give us a very clean look (and to avoid damaging the expensive baseboards we had throughout the home). We chose flooring almost 6 months before we closed after walking through the showroom with him. Crazy enough, the flooring came back extremely darker than we were hoping for and Chad worked with us closely in order to return it and choose a similar flooring that met our needs (we decided to splurge a bit more and get much wider planks). Even through this ordeal, we did not have to pay anything extra as Chad noted the issue wasn't due to a poor choice on our end but a manufacturing issue. The job ended up only taking 5-6 days and the crew (led by Jesus) kept the home extremely clean (as much as possible since demolition of the tile left the home very dusty) and even caulked which we were not expecting them to do. The end result is an extremely beautiful wood floor throughout the home. As a bonus, Chad had his team also come out and sand/stain our starter step to match the wood planks. This is one of the best stain jobs I've seen as it matches almost perfectly. I would definitely use Chad again in the future (though we plan to live in this home for a VERY LONG time lol), and we will be recommending his services to anyone looking for good flooring work.

I found Carpet One through a Google search. I went to their website and saw professionalism. I clicked on the link to request for estimate. It was soon Tanya was in my home talking to me about options. It was a comfortable procedure - even fun. I picked the Prestige Hourglass carpet for the whole house. The work was scheduled. Two men arrived and they had to remove the old laminate and take it away. It was a two day process due to the laminate removal. When I came into the house it was totally transformed! I would say it was fast and efficient. Rewarding to see it done so quickly. Highly recommend.

The together Design and Build team did an AMAZING job converting our walk in attic into a beautiful office space (with extra room for work out equipment and other storage). We had a large whole home renovation that needed to be done. We added a 10x16 office, whole kitchen update, and both main and secondary bathrooms fully redone. We also redid all the insulation in the exterior walls. After interviewing multiple whole home renovation companies, we went with Teamwork Home Designs. Our project managers Shaked and Anton were fantastic. They were in constant communication, walking us through everything they were doing. With any renovations, there are always surprises, and we ran across 2. Shaked and Anton took care of the surprises with minimal delays. A renovation this large is going to be stressful, but overall I was at a 3 out 10 for most of the renovation because the project managers were always on top of everything. I highly recommend Teamwork Home Designs, and especially Shaked and Anton if you can get them as your project managers.
Jackson Gayle and his team were the ultimate professionals. They were honest, hard working, and on top of things. You hear so many horror stories about contractors, but working with Jackson was the opposite. He did beautiful, high-quality work and stayed within budget. He communicated well, respected our stuff, and made sure we loved the results before he finished. He went above and beyond in so many ways: he re-sodded our lawn, sent us decorating recommendations, hand cut tile to match perfectly, and stayed until 4am on weekends to get the job done. I love nothing more than perfectly folded towels, books lined up carefully on a shelf.We recently completed a huge renovation project with Ramsey Contracting, and as a perfectionist, I want to share how carefully and tenaciously they worked on our home. Our house is old – built in 1960 – and it had never been renovated. We wanted to completely overhaul the kitchen, install Saltillo tiles throughout, redo the bathroom, replace all interior doors, and paint the entire house. We also installed new appliances and a new back door.I’m a teacher, so this project was an enormous investment for us. In fact, we paid as much for the renovation as we did when we purchased the house in 2001. A big deal. One that kept me up many nights with worry – should we do this?But as I’m sitting in my lovely new kitchen with gorgeous blue and white Mediterranean tile, I am overjoyed that we did this renovation. And I’m thrilled Taylor’s work -- simply put, Taylor and his team did a stellar job. I wanted each line of grout to lay neatly, each bit of baseboard to sit perfectly against the floor. After 22 years of living with a very old house with many flaws – and as a perfectionist -- these details mattered to me. Taylor and his team came through with flying colors. They understood and respected my wishes, and they all worked make sure every bit of our renovation lived up to our expectations.I also know they went above and beyond for us during the often-stressful process of renovating a home. They understood our timeframe for returning to the house, and we met that date with a day to spare – unheard of in the construction business! There were numerous occasions where I know Taylor did more for us – whether it was replacing a bathroom mirror that didn’t quite work or giving our ceiling one more coat of paint. During our renovation, we also experienced a break-in to the garage, where we had stored basic household items and books. This rattled my family in a major way, and the team helped us install security cameras before we left town on a vacation to New York. I will always be grateful for their extra care and attention, as we were able to enjoy our trip without worry.In addition to Taylor’s deep skill with construction, he also has a keen eye for design and detail. He advised us on several decisions, from the grout color on our floor tile to the shelving in our kitchen. He was able to see the end project and what needed to happen aesthetically with the house. Other contractors probably barrel through, just following the original plan, but Taylor reached out often and said, “This choice may not be what we thought it would be. Let’s talk about other options.” Meeting our design goals mattered to Taylor, and he also pointed us toward other experts who could help us achieve a very particular vision.For my entire adult life, I’ve dreamed of owning a beautiful house like this, and I have spent far too many hours clipping pictures from magazines or pinning ideas on Pinterest.This past Christmas we celebrated in our gorgeous new home. It shimmered like a jewel box with the tree, the table setting, the candles. As we ate our roast beef and mashed potatoes, I realized I would not have to dream about my home any longer – we were in it.Ramsey Contracting made this dream a reality. Taylor is trustworthy, hardworking, skilled and charming. In fact, I can say that about his entire team. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We have used Red Agave for 3 projects. They all involved some design and steel work . The first project involved selection of plants and I'm really happy with the focus on native and low maintenance plants that have done very well.
On one of the installs, an issue came up with the sprinklers (a steel piece had cut a irrigation wire), Zach worked to get it fixed right away and stayed late on a Friday to make sure the job was done well.
Seedlings Gardening has done multiple designs and installations for me and each one has come out beautifully! They take the random thoughts in my head (colorful! big deck! I don't like this existing walkway, etc.) and turn it into a cohesive, comfortable, outdoor space that I actually want to spend time in.They also come quarterly to clean everything up, make sure it's all in good health, give me tips for ongoing maintenance, and any new plantings needed.In the end I have a beautiful yard that I put minimal effort into.Services: Walkway landscaping

Our only regret is that we didn’t call Synthetic Grass ATX sooner. We have a small yard area where grass wouldn’t grow due to tree cover so it basically became a mud pit. This turf is amazing, looks great, and is super soft and easy to maintain. Madison was extremely helpful and walked us through all the options. They were able to get us bumped up in the schedule and had it knocked out in a few hours. The crew were all super friendly, showed up on time, and did a great job. This is perfect for our two little kids and our dog. Just wish we would have pulled the trigger a year ago when we started talking about it!
We've used Verde lawn & landscape for over a year now. They're always extremely responsive and communicate things well. They do our weed control, fertilization, and lawn mowing. We also use them for top dressing and mulch refresh in the spring time. Highly recommend Verde Lawn!!
Southern Landscape helped us remodel our poolside cabana and structurally reinforce our large outdoor deck. We've worked with a number of contractors over the years, but they were honestly the best we've worked with - especially in terms of communication. Everyone involved - from Ashleigh on the design to Aaron & Darron and the construction crew - went the extra mile the entire way through to offer ideas and communicate any potential issues or questions. We ended up having to order a couple extra parts for some of our outdoor cabinets and Aaron came back right away to install them and did a couple final finishes for us while he was here. We highly recommend their work. They made the whole process feel easy!
My experience with Yarrow was truly fantastic. They were really thoughtful in the design of my backyard patio and planting areas. All their recommendations were so beautiful and required very little maintenance for me, which was a big priority. Their crew was really fast with the installation and they were all kind and considerate of my house. They were even nice to my dog! I liked them all so much after my first project that I’ve gone back to them twice more for smaller projects and I’ve also hired them to do another big landscaping project at my new house. Definitely recommend hiring them for any landscaping work.

The last thing we wanted to do was put a French drain in our yard, but we really didn’t have a choice with the slope in our backyard. Our yard would regularly look like a marsh after a good rain, and it would take days to dry up making it hard to keep grass alive.
This company was awesome. They made the process easy, they were quick and professional, and I thought the price was more than fair.
The day after the drain was completed, as fate would have it, we got a good two or more inches of rain. There was no flooding, my yard didn’t look like a marsh, and since then it’s been much easier to regrow grass. I’d recommend this company to anyone needing drainage services. Couldn’t be happier with the job they did.

Absolutely thrilled with the guys at Austin Tree Experts! After a storm knocked down an old pear tree in our yard, I was worried about how to handle the mess and potential damage to our fence. I called them up, and from the initial consultation to the final cleanup, their team exceeded all my expectations.
The crew arrived early on the scheduled morning and assessed with me the situation going over what would be done. They carefully removed the fallen pear tree, taking great care not to damage my already crappy fence. Their equipment seemed to be top-notch, and their crews efficiency was impressive. What seemed to me like a daunting task was handled swiftly and skillfully. I just wanted to bust out some popcorn and watch.
Also what stood out was their attention to detail. They not only removed the tree but also cleaned up every bit of debris, leaving our yard looking immaculate. The team was courteous, respectful, and kept me informed throughout the process.
Way better than drive-by door knocking chainsaws for hire. Been there done that. Just know that some times those guys end up causing more eyesores and/or damage to your trees in the long run. Don't take the chance, just hire an actual professional. I used the guys at Austin Tree Experts and would happily do it again. Hope this helps someone.

The Amigo’s team helped me remove a leaning pear tree and two small flower trees before extreme cold weather arrived, and trimmed a huge oak tree, allowing sunlight to shine through. What a pleasant surprise. In my experience tree trimming and removal companies are usually not the greatest experience, especially if they're affordable. Amador and his crew changed that for me. I had a gigantic limb (probably 75 feet long) on an ancient oak finally become too heavy to support. It fell, taking out a corner of my tool shed in the process. With a backyard event coming up in a few days and myself needing to go out of town for the weekend, I basically just called these guys, crossed my fingers, and hoped for the best. Not only did they come out within an hour or two, they quoted a comparatively affordable price on the spot and got to work immediately. When I came back from my trip, the branch was gone, all debris removed, and the cuts properly painted and disinfected. My event was saved.I'm so inspired I'm going to get them to come out and do some other needed trimming and maintenance. I'm a big believer that once you find someone good, you stick with them. I'm sold on these guys.

I came for a regular exam/cleaning and TMJ assessment. In the past, other dentists haven’t really listened to my TMJ issues. Mia the dental hygienist and Shane the dentist are both very nice and helpful. They gave me a thorough cleaning and TMJ exam, and they both took a lot of time to educate me on findings and different options. They seem to really care about their patients and are very passionate about what they do. Best dental experience I have had since I can remember. Highly recommend!
I have had sinusitis for years. My ENT said my ear pain was related to my TMJ. It did not make sense to me, but I went to Greenbelt Dental to see if it was contributing to my ear pain/sinus issue. It was not. Dr. Naranjo recommended an ozone treatment for my ears and what a relief. The pain no longer exists and I could feel my sinuses draining immediately. I've been going to Walden Dental for almost 3 years now. Even though I moved over 45 miles away I still come back for cleanings and dental work. I appreciate how professional and detailed they are and continue to be impressed with their ability to make permenant crowns the same day it's decided you need one. The Emax crown will cost you more even with insurance but it sure beats getting a temporary crown and to come back at least one or two times more for fitting/adjustments. Every Walden crown has fit right the first time. Dr Frank and Emily and everyone in between is dedicated to providing a great service.

Dr. Garza was my pediatrician from the time I left the NICU at eight weeks old until I turned 18. While I can’t personally recall my earliest experiences with her, my parents clearly believed she provided the best care possible—not just for me, but also for my twin brother and older brother.
For as long as I can remember, Dr. Garza has been someone I felt safe around. Whether it was getting vaccines at 10 or navigating a rough patch in my teenage years, she was always trustworthy, empathetic, and supportive. Her calming demeanor, natural charisma, and soothing cadence are qualities I’ve never encountered in another doctor.
But don’t mistake my praise for her bedside manner as the only reason I admire her. Dr. Garza took a deeply personal approach to my care. With an extensive knowledge of my medical history—so detailed it seemed as if she had my chart memorized—she always made well-informed decisions. Her recommendations reflected best practices and the latest advancements in medicine. She also had an excellent network of specialists, to whom she referred me multiple times when needed.
I should also mention that her staff was just as exceptional. They recognized me instantly and often remembered more details about me than I did.
And of course, I’ll never forget her signature phrase:
“Let me wash my hands so I don’t spread any germs!”

Dr. Shawn Mchone is a great Chiropractor! Very knowledgeable and truly cares about his clients. All the staff is great and very attentive! If you are looking for a chiropractor for an injury or overall maintenance this is a great clinic! They also take most insurances!
Dr. Westbrook helped me narrow down potential causes of my knee pain, provided pain relief, and assigned a great regiment of targeted exercises (also available in the Airrosti mobile app) to improve my health. Her staff were great as well and helped me reinforce those exercises.
I always get excellent service during my visits. They treat the pain but also fix the root cause quickly.
After a car accident lead me to this wonderful place, Dr.Haby treated me during my recovery not only was he professional and a great chiropractor but his nurses ALICIA, KAREN, ALEXIS did an amazing job at keeping a smile on my face and making me feel welcome and cared for me throughout my recovery. Sadly my time has come to an end with them but the smiles they brought to me will never be forgotten. Surgery and pain injections felt like my only options after learning I have cervical spinal stenosis. I went to see Dr. Chris at Precision last spring and began twice weekly adjustments and traction. I'm currently going once a week and doing chiro "homework" the other days of the week. While my condition can't be cured with adjustments, my pain has decreased and I feel my treatment is helping me avoid more invasive procedures, at least for the foreseeable future. Dr. Chis' team is supportive and always encouraging. Shout out to Julia and Peter!

I have had many vets over the years, having lived in a few different cities, and states, and I have to say the quality of care, the presence, and attention that my dogs have received from Dr. Toth, the very professional vet techs, and kind administrative staff, is top notch. I have two rescue senior dogs currently, one who is generally a happy thing, the other, a tiny gremlin who needs muzzling for the most basic of things (I rescued her after abuse), and with both old ladies, the treatment and professionalism has been great.
Dr. Toth stays present in your appointments, spends extra time explaining things, when needed, he suggests less expensive routes, if needed, I just can’t say enough about him or his team across the board.
I had to wait a bit this appointment to get seen, and during that time, I gleaned how much care they provide. It says a lot when a clinic is super busy, but when an elderly gentleman came in to buy some flea preventative for his cat, and wanted to bend the ears of the check in desk, they warmly shared in his conversation. They weren’t transactional when they easily could have been due the stress of demands. Kudos to the whole clinic for providing old school care!
Dr. Cordeiro is a rock star! We went to this vet clinic to get a second opinion for my dog’s limp. She was very thorough and was able to determine that his limp was due to a serious injury (our previous vet told us our dog’s limp was caused by a mild yeast infection in his paw, and was just being dramatic). We are so happy that we finally have an answer and are able to get him the proper care he needs. Thank you so much Dr. Cordeiro!!

Absolutely recommend Xavier as a groomer. We’ve been going to fluff n buff for close to 2 years now and when I tell you I’ve never been more satisfied! My shih tzu loves them and always comes home happy and relaxed vs our previous years going to big chain groomers where they would keep him for hours at a time and come home stressed and anxious. They aren’t only quick and efficient but go above and beyond for our pets ??

We love Austin Pet Stylist, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, kind and top quality groomer. Their prices are reasonable, their communication is great and the salon is a welcoming, inclusive place. We have brought two Pomeranians here (one with coat issues, and one who is a bit of a handful) and have received the best care.
Pomeranians are a notoriously hard breed to groom, due to their double coat, and if not groomed and cared for correctly, they can actually lose their fur. I spent a lot of time researching groomers in Austin, and felt very lucky to get in with Jade. We actually live about a hour away, and make a morning out of grooming every month.
Not only does Jade give the best cuts, but she is passionate about animals and even teaches a pet CPR class. Jade, Brittany and the rest of the staff have helped me learn a lot about Pomeranian care, products and well being over the past two years, and we are so fortunate to have them as our groomers!
I had a great experience with this Company! The groomer was professional, friendly, and clearly knew how to make my puppy feel comfortable. They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, and my puppy looked fantastic afterward-clean, well-groomed, and happy! The service was also quick and convenient. It's always a bit hard and scary to find a new groomer. But so far...so good! Danielle did a great job grooming my Cavalier. Prices are in line with other groomers. Scheduling was easy. I will have more to add as I take the rest of my pack in for grooming. She took a cute pic of my girl!
I'm immediately in love with this place! I was able to get right in for my dog's nail trim. She's not the easiest to trim her nails, but Jane was so sweet and took care of her. I'm beyond happy with the service, pricing, and job well done. I'd give 10 stars if I could!

My dog loves coming here! Normally he is scared to be at the groomer but they take good care of him. My dog Oliver also has a sensitive stomach but the treats/baked goods purchased here do not bother him! We came in today to buy him a birthday cake and we received a free treat for his birthday as well on the house! Would highly recommend

WONDERFUL customer service-- it was so easy to book a mobile pet grooming from their site/texting. Staff arrived promptly, explained everything well, and I could tell was a true dog lover . My pup had no problem joining him in the van, and he texted progress picture which was so fun. Our doggie was so fresh and so clean after. We will definitely be booking again!
This groomer was a lifesaver. I had always taken my pup to Petsmart, but when I took her for her appt they shaved down the center of her back and then told me they were uncomfortable to finish the job because of her age. I called Plush Pad an hour before their closing time and they took mercy on me and took care of her. They were so gentle and kind. This turned out to be her last grooming, as we had to say goodbye a month later. So thankful for this groomer and their love for animals. Highly recommend!
I've been going to Lizard Yoga to use the contrast therapy and got a few massages. I've always had a wonderful experience and leave feeling relaxed and refreshed. The contrast rooms are private, so you don't have to worry about using a swimsuit and can jump back and forth between the sauna and cold tub as much as you want. The rooms are always clean, stocked with towels, and have cold mint towels available. I highly recommend trying Lizard Yoga for contrast therapy if you haven't tried it before, or if you've done similar therapy at other locations in Austin. It's top notch!
I took up Yoga late in life and have found it to be one of the best things I can do for my body and spirit. The classes I’ve attended at Flow Yoga, lead by the amazing Angie Knight are something I always look forward to! Her calm approach and open spirit are inspirational! The Yoga retreat Angie recently led in beautiful Costa Rica was unforgettable!

Amber is amazing instructor! It was my first class and the intro she provided made me feel confident and prepared for class. Her cycle playlist was so hype and her demons on the weight floor were super easy to follow. Yoga at the end was the perfect stretch! Studio was very clean and I liked the atmosphere.

One of my fav studios in Austin for a session that is gentle and relaxing. The atmosphere is beautiful and pleasing. And the teachers are always sweet. My only complaint is that I wish there were more of them in Austin!

Took a sculpt and flow class for the first time with brooke and it was amazing. I was a bit scared at first because i don’t usually do a full body workout. she was walked us through all the workouts and a took a few minutes to cool down too. overall it was very relaxing and a good workout. i don’t think ill be able to feel my legs tomorrow.
I love Aly! I wished she taught regularly at Orchard! She provides and promotes such a welcoming atmosphere where experience levels may vary, although everyone can get in on the fun. It’s a high energy rollercoaster once started and she gives you different options based on skill level. She always has a smile and gives out so much love and graceful energy. Dayna is an excellent yoga instructor and her many years of experience offers much more. Her private sessions are individualized to focus on improving one's overall fitness at any level. After 2-3 years of limited activity due to prior knee pain, then two surgeries, she has helped me continue through recovery by practices to improve strength, balance and flexibility, and I have seen positive results.Dayna's home studio is comfortable with a beautiful view, and her lively personality makes classes fun, while offering the added benefit of safe training on the CoreFirst bands system. True Mysore Shala in Austin! The teachers Andrew and Déjà are amazing! This practice is traditional so take into consideration that it's a self-practice and your teacher gives you new poses once they feel you're ready (and have overcome/mastered your last challenge posture). I absolutely love the Mysore Austin Shala - both the teachers and the student and community alike.

This place is so amazing. I really love it here! I started going after I injured my knee and I was able to build muscle strength back. Since then, I've been to so many of the different classes with different instructors and I love them all. I frequent the flows, but have done the Powerformer courses in the past. The integration of the TRX bands and the Pilates tower adds really great variety to get great workouts and keep your body strong and flexible!
Tim is hands-down one of the most knowledgeable, gifted, and personable functional movement practitioners I've ever worked with. He has helped me and my family immeasurably with a variety of movement and body pain issues. We recommend him to everyone we can. And his dog Steve will also give you some love while you work.

Pure Pilates is a wonderful light and airy Pilates studio for my boutique intimate visits for when I'm looking to get my butt kicked for 50 minutes. I'm impressed to see this place is still as beautiful as the day I stopped by when I saw I came back in 2017, and now as a mom who needs to work on her mobility, health and core strength meets posture, this place did not disappoint!
I've met Zilla, who Ally, the owner teaches some sessions on Wednesdays and I can get my doggy cuddles while I am getting my Pilates workout on? Win win! Even better is they're close by my office, which makes it a quick walk over!

I went to my first Pure Pilates class with ClassPass and enjoyed my experience! It's definitely more of a lagree-style class with the megaformer as opposed to the typical pilates reformer but I enjoy both styles so this wasn't an issue for me. Class: I really liked the instructor! She was very attentive and helpful when it came to form corrections. The class felt very quick but we covered quite a bit of exercises even though we only had 45 minutes. If you're a beginner I would suggest asking for a rundown of the machine and general exercises prior to the start of class. Studio: The space is very bright and has a good amount of mirrors so you can easily check your form. There are cubbies at the entrance to store your stuff. Parking: There's a parking garage attached to the building that's free for three hours.

Erik is a skilled practitioner, whose hands seem to possess an innate understanding of the human body. He is warm, welcoming, and enjoys the challenge of releasing tough to work points in the body. His storytelling was also distracting enough to allow my body to cooperate with otherwise inaccessible ranges. Walked away from the session with greatly improved range of motion and a set of tips on how to keep up with the work done at home. Greatly appreciate Erik's thoroughness, and will definitely be back for more!
I have been to so many massage therapists, especially in Austin and have never had a better massage than with julietta. There is one thing I always book month after month and it is a lymphatic drainage massage. Julietta is a spectacular massage therapist who always is perfecting her craft and learning more and an incredible human. Couldn’t recommend a business more than roots.
Now I can’t imagine going anywhere else for a massage. I’ve tried several places around town, but none compare to the exceptional care Andrea provides at Austin Ashiatsu. After enduring weeks of back pain from slouching over a computer, I walked out of my session with Andrea feeling like a new person. Her expertise and dedication truly work wonders. Westlake Lymphatic is the place to go to for post surgery lymphatic massages. Not only do they know what they’re doing, but they really dig into the post surgery lipo bumps and bulges that can form. I also don’t feel judged by them that I got surgery in the first place. Definitely recommend Alexandra J. and the Westlake Lymphatic team!

Loved my massage here. Some massage businesses can be hit or miss the first time, I was happy to find that Jay was very caring and made my comfort a priority. He asked me several times if I was comfortable and applied the perfect amount of pressure to gently help me release tension. It was obvious he was well-trained and was very thorough with his technique! I left feeling more at peace and relaxed. The office was also easy to find and booking was seamless online.
I absolutely love it here. After a major surgery I started seeing Heather. She specializes in wound care and was able to help my wound healing using MLD massage techniques. It has made a huge difference in my healing process! I have seen a few different staff members and they are all kind, patient and empathetic. The space is peaceful, nice and clean. I recently started running and experienced knee issues around the IT band that slowed me down or make it hard to walk or run for weeks. After a few months of trying 'internet' solutions, I came to run lab to solve the issue.
At the first session, my gait was analyzed and my incorrect gait was explained to me. I was running incorrectly which could be fine for short 1-3 mile distances but was causing damage during longer runs.
My gait was fixed in a couple of sessions and after a few weeks I was able to run long distances without pain in my hips and knees. I went from having some fatigue and pain from doing 10+ mile runs to just normal exhaustion.
Runlab is extremely specialized and I am lucky I decided to come here to fix my running issues.

I've gone to traditional PT for years, but so few physical therapists are familiar with EDS and POTS that I usually end up getting injured in PT instead of getting better.
Working with Jonathan has been life changing. I've spent a year going through the custom treatment plan he created to train my brain and body to use the right muscles for the right tasks. As a result, I've seen massive improvements in my strength, balance, proprioception, stamina, and pain levels.
Even though they don't take insurance, the cost is very reasonable for the quality of care you're getting and it's been a worthwhile investment. I get far more benefit from 30 minutes at PARR PT than weeks at traditional PT.
Jonathan and his team are exceptional, and I can't express how grateful I am for the guidance and tools PARR PT has given me to maintain my health going forward. If you have EDS or POTS and traditional PT has failed you, PARR PT is the way to go.
This was one of the best medical care experiences I have ever had. My therapist, Debra Dobbs listened to my description of the pain I was having, devised a plan of exercises, guided me through performing them and gave me exercises to work on at home. The clinic was clean, well organized, quiet and the equipment was in good shape.
Colton provided me with an arsenal of exercises that tremendously helps the pain in my knees, hips and lower back without surgery or pain meds. I've been seeing Isabelle for acupuncture for over 3 months now, and she is not only an amazing acupuncturist, but also an amazing human being. I'd never had acupuncture before and wasn't sure what to expect. Not only is she patient and works with your comfort level, she is exceptionally kind, nurturing, and extremely knowledgable about ways to calm and ease the nervous system. She really spends quality time getting to know you and the issues you're dealing with. She is such a healing person, a gem!! Highly recommend!
I went to SATG for knee replacement therapy. After having a poor experience with a chain PT establishment in the past, I was looking for something smaller and more personal. SATG provided exactly that. I appreciated the one-on-one sessions, as opposed to the 2-3 patients at a time approach used elsewhere. This personal attention made me feel that my treatment was tailored specifically to me rather than just going through the motions.
Kelly was my primary therapist, and she was both thorough and professional. She set goals at the beginning of my treatment and closely tracked my progress. Her encouragement as we approached those goals was greatly appreciated. Kelly explained each exercise and its benefits clearly, which I found valuable as someone who relies on information. She also provided exercises for me to do at home and regularly inquired about my progress or any setbacks during our off time.
I also had a few sessions with Lee, who was equally skilled. SATG keeps detailed records of your progress, ensuring a smooth transition if another therapist needs to take over. Both Kelly and Lee are friendly and kind individuals. I will definitely return to SATG if and when the need arises.

Sharon is great! I had stubborn bronchitis for two months, and even my naturopathic doctor could not get rid of it. Because I did not want to use antibiotics, I felt hopeless. Then I found Sharon, and she made me a special tea specifically for this illness. Within a few weeks, it was finally gone.
I did the consultation appt and the DR I spoke with was friendly and heard my concerns and expressed she would be able to help. I really thought I would be able to do it, but financially I could not (my job dropped our hours as of yesterday) so had to cancel my initial visit appt. Hoping in the future I will be able to move forward to fix my health :)

From his ability to help manage my condition, I see him less frequently than in the beginning now. Each session, he asks how I'm doing and if I'm improving. Had a chronic issue with nerve pain and lower back issues , leg muscle pain that prevented me from running. I saw two different orthopedic doctors, a sports medicine doctor and a chiropractor with very little results. After just two visits with Dr Chang my pain was significantly reduced and my body started to heal again naturally. I have been dealing with this injury for over 6 months and Im a complete believer now in acupunture. I will be going back again for sure. Highly recommend Dr Chang and the incredible staff there.

Before I came in, I was a mess. Crying, panic attacks, I'd stopped eating, and sleeping...all my friends were very worried about me. After western medicine failed me, someone suggested acupuncture.
After my first visit, my 2 day long panic attack had stopped. By the 5th visit I was parking at the nearby playground and enjoying the 4 block walk to the clinic, where I promptly fall asleep after the needles go in. The change I saw was huge. The change my friends saw was jaw-dropping.
It's such a great place. Everyone there feels like someone you've known your whole life. It's safe, comfortable, inviting, and just wonderful. I'm so grateful - I cry good tears just talking about it.

Had the pleasure of working with Yolanda, Hector, and Brandi during the training process. They are very down to earth, they’re clear about instructions and do all they can to answer your questions and ensure you’re comfortable at all times. They even use multiple teaching strategies for us visual learners. The structure of the program is well put together so that any and everybody can be successful. Can’t say enough kind words about this place!!

Fair and helpful. Good communication from initial contact until driving test. They will point out mistakes that you make but will quickly help you correct them. The feeling you get from Day One is that you will succeed because they will make sure of it.
I took this course in June, and it was a lot of fun! Prior to this class, I had only ever powerwalked on a motorcycle, so I had basically zero motorcycle skills. By the end of the first day, I was riding around in 2nd gear, doing figure 8s, and all kinds of stuff! The coach was super friendly and gave one-on-one feedback during the more difficult exercises. At the end of the second day, there is a "skills demonstration" portion that you need to pass in order to be eligible for your motorcycle endorsement. There are no scheduled breaks during the course, but we would usually take 5-10 mins every couple of exercises to hydrate and reapply sunscreen. I will say that if you're susceptible to heat exhaustion or have a low tolerance for sun exposure: don't take this class in the summer. You're outside for 6-7 hours each day. But regardless of the season, make sure you bring plenty of water and sunscreen. Thanks, Total Rider!
We scheduled a driving test prior to our trip to Austin and my son took the driving test successfully today. Good experience.
My instructor, Jeff T., was knowledgeable, courteous and easy to learn from. I greatly appreciated his patience. I have a license and some driving experience, so this school is not just for permit learners.
I took the course in anticipation of renewing my driver license. I thought the course was pretty good, although it definitely seemed written for new drivers. I would have appreciated a form at the start which would have allowed me to specify that I was renewing my license, which could then have been used to change the content I saw. I felt at times I was being talked down to; I've been driving for 40 years at this point. Another issue: Texas has Farm to Market roads other states don't have. It would have been nice if the course explained what the "FM" stands for on these roads. Finally, the course failed to clearly answer my biggest question about lane usage, which is: when turning at an intersection, does Texas require you to turn into the closest lane to you, or does it not matter? Different states have different laws in this regard. I wish the course had underscored DPS' position on this.
