I absolutely loved how everything turned out. My makeup felt like the best version of myself, natural, elevated, and photographed beautifully from getting ready through the last dance. I was referred to Ray Rose by someone I met at a dealership. Her hair was awesome and I complimented her and she gave me Ray's number. He scheduled me the next Monday. After evaluating my hair, taking pictures of my scalp and letting me know why my hair waa breaking off and not very healthy, he shampooed and cut it beautifully. (So much knowledge that he shares)
From long to neck length, it was perfect for my new corporate job I had just been offered.

“Called a few days ahead and made a Saturday morning appointment to get my hair braided for a muay thai fight. I originally came in for 5 cornrows with my natural hair, but Elizabeth recommended 6, and I’m really happy with how they turned out. She did an awesome job with my hair; she was very attentive to my requests and checked in with me to make sure that the braids weren’t too tight. I would absolutely recommend this salon to anyone needing their hair braided; they were reasonably priced, worked quickly/efficiently, and were very welcoming and kind to me.“

“Silk Hair Studio is aptly named. I went in with dry, frizzy menopausal hair and came out with a sleek, shiny manageable haircut. Lety really knows what she's doing. I have had a difficult time finding someone who knows how to cut and style my frizzy, wavy, coarse hair, but Lety hit it out of the park. Her rates are very reasonable as well. Her third floor studio is private and comfortable. If you're close to SW Austin, I highly recommend her. Will definitely be going back.“
