“Frankenstein saved the day! Well, much more than the day, for us. Buying a Dell refurbished computer from a small computer repair place on Ben White Blvd in South Austin, which offered no help or advice when we realized that only one user could now open documents on the newer Windows version (#11).
A trip to Frankenstein, then back to fetch the machine, and problem solved.

“I just took about 15 internal and external hard drives to be destroyed for peace of mind. They were old and I couldn’t recall what was on them or if I had erased properly them.

It was quick and simple with Z tech, much easier than I imagined. I made an appointment, brought them the drives and watched them be shredded in a few minutes.

They are friendly, professional and will explain the process for hobbyists like myself. I assumed they were only for large businesses, but it wasn’t the case.

Other businesses wanted me to fill out a lead form with all my information to get a quote, when I just called z tech and spoke to them for 2 minutes to ask a question, get a price and make an appointment. Also much easier for me than bringing this to the Austin recycling center, especially the location.

While other repair shops quoted high prices just for labor or even suggested getting a whole bottom part without screen which would cost a lot more. He was easy to work with and had very fair prices for his work and time. He’s earned my future business forever.
Ali also builds and diagnoses PCs, so he’s a great resource for any computer needs. What a guy!

“I am a student and a mom. I had an assignment due on a Saturday at 2pm, and had spent all morning with computer trouble. My storage was maxed out on my computer hard drive and I had multiple One Drive accounts, at least one of which was also at its storage capacity.
