About [solidcore] The Triangle
[Solidcore] is a business that offers a unique resistance-training workout, inspired by Pilates, at their studio in Austin, Texas. The workout is designed to challenge individuals and build muscular strength and endurance by targeting the upper body, lower body, and core. The instructors use a specialized piece of equipment, called [sweatlana], to help participants reach muscle failure and achieve impressive results. The process of booking a class online is simple, and [solidcore] offers military veteran discounts. The instructors are welcoming and helpful, especially to newcomers, and they provide modifications and encouragement throughout the class. Participants may find the workout to be challenging, especially if they are new to this type of exercise, but they will likely see significant changes in their bodies, such as lost inches and increased strength. The community at [solidcore] is supportive and encouraging, and participants often leave class feeling a sense of accomplishment and soreness in a good way. While some may find the transitions and movements difficult to grasp at first, with practice, they become more comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, [solidcore] is a highly recommended business for those seeking a challenging and effective workout.
Steph's Best: Fitness Edition!
I’ve always admired ladies with strong arms, and after asking around, Pilates is the most consistent answer. I was directed to Solidcore by a trusted yogi during the pandemic, and started taking classes fully masked - an added cardio challenge to coaching beyond boundaries of “stronger than you think!” This routine (sprinkled in 2-4 days ever since) has helped me grow stronger, leaner, and mentally fitter than I’ve ever imagined, and that’s quite a miracle from where I started. I love taking Cami’s classes because she’s always upbeat, leading with precision cues to keep me safe & strategic,...read full review
Solidcore is one of the best core workouts out there, but since it was bought out by private equity, it has rapidly gone downhill. The studios are dirty and cramped, the machines are clunky (and uncomfortable compared to the Lagree Mega Reformers), and cancellation policies and memberships have become ridiculously expensive. I still go when I find a good deal on ClassPass, but it is really a shame that PE destroyed what once was great!
I’ve been coming to [solidcore] at the Triangle for about a year now and the impact on my body and mind has been unmatched by anything else I’ve tried. The coaches are genuinely knowledgeable and have a real gift for reading where you’re at; whether I need to push harder or pull back, they always help me get the most out of each class. I leave feeling stronger every single time. Can’t recommend this place and community enough.
