“My dogter JezzieBelle abso loves this spot. Any other place would have her upset and I believe it's because some places are very cold and unfriendly from a dog's point of view. But Kyla took Jezz to have her nails trimmed and when she returned Jezz was a rambunctious puppy all over again. Talk about HAPPY DOG!!! Another note that should be mentioned is that Jezz hasn't really had any exposure to other dogs but there happened to be a puppy (Jezz is almost 5yrs) in the lobby and was there when they brought her back to me. I could not believe how calm and at ease she was after her trimming that she wanted to stay and play. These people are absolutely awesome at their service and Jezz would definitely be coming back.“

“I left my beloved dog, Azula, here for over a week, and I have to say that it was a fantastic experience for the both of us. My dog is unfortunately reactive, but D Pet Hotel had no issue with accommodating her, giving her plenty of private time in the playroom. I also felt assured with the daily pictures and updates I received during her stay. It was refreshing to see a pet hotel be generous with their time and effort, as they don't upcharge for giving her one on one playtime and providing her medications. Should I need a boarding facility in the future, I will not hesitate to contact them again!“

“I signed up for 7 private lessons for my 1-year-old Golden Retriever, River, and it has been such a great experience. Steven is an amazing trainer.

I originally wanted help mainly with walking and recall, but River has learned so much more than that through these lessons. He listens better, is calmer, more focused, and overall much more responsive in everyday situations. Walks are actually enjoyable now, and I finally feel confident taking him out to patios and public places without feeling stressed.

“During the 3-week board and train, Aaron was very detailed on Canela's stay and provided all the pictures and videos which was greatly appreciated

I was so amazed to see all her improvements and accomplishments during her stay. At the time she went she basically only knew sit and to see her go from that to healing and having her sit and you can walk off was amazing to see

With my senior dog knowing basic commands but not fully trained like Canela. You can see a big difference and you can see how much life is easier having a full-trained dog versus a partially trained dog

If I knew about Jen and Aaron's training, my senior dog would have gone without a doubt. And if I happen to have another dog in the future they'll be attending as well. It's completely worth every penny

I tell as many people as I can about Lucky Star. You see the love and time they pour into your pup and they truly care for them

My puppy now has confidence she's no longer consistently in my senior dog's face. She doesn't chase my cat around throughout the house. She's not constantly jumping on me or other people. She's able to walk with tons of distractions outside without constantly barking

My house is now calm. I don't have her scratching my back door and peeling off the paint. She doesn't take food off my toddler's table anymore. She's not eating things she's not supposed to (toys, the wall, etc) or tearing up the grass it's like she's a completely new dog that found her place and she's happy with her new and proved self. And the best part with this change is that her personality is the same a big ole goofball

Also, I'm really happy that during pickup when they go over everything with you, they also provide you with scenarios and you get to practice them. That way If it does happen, you're not freaked out or panicked on what to do. You feel confident and prepared if something unexpected happens

“Our dog Bebop loves Second Home! We tried another boarding facility and she got super stressed, which is odd for her because she is a happy, playful puppy. I love the small group play, the daily report card with amazing photos and a descriptor about how she was feeling that day. The staff is also super friendly.“

“There aren’t enough words for me to describe how great Kenny is as a dog trainer. He really takes the time to get to know you, your dog, and what you seek to get out of the sessions. I really appreciate how much Kenny cares about my dog, the progress my dog makes throughout the sessions, and how approachable he can be outside of the sessions.

He makes sure to send a detailed summary of the training and tips to make sure the techniques work, and will always answer any questions you may have. The difference in my dog’s behavior before and after the six sessions with Kenny is astronomical. Thanks to Kenny, my dog no longer pulls on the leash during our walks, is no longer reactive to other people and their dogs, and has shown many other positive changes.

“Dr. Rivera and the staff here have been wonderful with my dog’s acupuncture sessions. They always do their best to make sure my anxious 12 year old dog is as comfortable as possible. I thought Pippin would be too scared to get acupuncture but he’s been doing great with his weekly sessions for the past 2-3 months.“
