I received the best haircut I’ve had since I grew my hair long! My natural curls were flat and frizzy. I had no idea what I needed but knew what I wanted as far as ease of upkeep. Alexis gave me a curly cut and a new shape I’d not tried before. I expected to need to go short but she was able to do wonders and kept most of my length. It’s been really easy to maintain and I love the way my curls behave now.

She's always so careful and gentle about making sure you're comfortable and so accommodative about how intense you are about your skincare routine. Her room is beautiful and soothing, her music is great, and she's always so, so sweet. I haven't felt more relaxed in my life than when I get to lay in that giant fluffy bed and chat with someone so kind. I cannot recommend Dess enough!

Jim at Pinnacle Home Services is a consummate professional. I live in Los Angeles and was referred to him by my lender when we were looking to purchase a home. We found some structural issues with a home and we were looking for a second opinion. Although Jim services the Sacramento area only, he took the time out of his busy day to review the structural report I had completed during my due diligence. He then spent 30 min going in detail what the report stated and how that might affect the home. He then provided very reasonable solutions and I was very impressed by the level of knowledge he has with foundations when he had not seen the home in person and based his findings purely on the structural report done. If I lived in Northern California and needed my foundation repaired, there is no question I would go with Pinnacle Home Services. Jim did refer me to a foundation specialist in Southern California and I have the upmost confidence his referral will be able to provide the same quality of service and honesty he has provided to me thus far.

Sharaya is so kind! She is truly amazing when it comes to fringe bangs and cutting. We toned my blonde hair slightly darker too. She allowed me to come back to add more layers because I felt like I didn't get the layers I wanted. She fixed it right away and accommodated me. Super cute small studio as well. Only thing is paid parking 3$ for 1 hr, and 6$ for 2 hrs. She lets you know that it is paid parking as well but I thought I should mention that. Over all, will be coming back for fringe cuts!
I came for a scalp massage to treat myself for a work win. Wish I had known about her years ago when I was post-partum! So relaxing, low key, felt amazing, and it's the first day in years that I have no dandruff. When she put my feet up and covered me with a blanket I nearly cried, it feels so good to pause and be cared for.
I came to see Diana Ciocan for a scalp facial. I have never gotten this service done before but after this first experience I do see myself getting more in the future. Before scheduling our appointment, Diana made sure to inform me of what a scalp facial entailed step-by-step and in detail so there wouldn’t be any surprises. When I arrived at my appointment, I was immediately greeted by a receptionist and asked if I’d like anything to drink (which is never a requirement for salons but it’s always a nice little gesture that elevates the customer experience). Barely a minute after taking a seat in the waiting area/boutique space, Diana greeted me and helped me right away. As the appointment started, she made sure to get to know more about my past experiences with other salon services and hair care routine, which shows the concern she has with ensuring none of the products/services she offers won’t have any adverse reactions. I have thin hair and because of that I am extremely self-conscious when other people touch my head, but Diana wasn’t judgmental about it at all and still made me feel beautiful and cared for while providing me with different hair regrowth tips during the facial. The scalp facial was such a relaxing experience, I damn near fell asleep in my seat a couple of times! My hair came out so soft and my scalp has never felt so fresh and light before. All throughout Diana and I had a great time getting to know each other. She is kind, personable, and exercises a lot of care when helping people. I’m sure I’ll be seeing her again in the future. My hairdresser for over 25 years retired and I tried a few others but wasn't satisfied. I found Behnaz online and read her great reviews on short cuts so I thought I would give her a try. OmG,, she is awesome she was able to correct my bad cut and color with not much hair to work with. I have never recieved so many compliments on my pixy cut from women and men. Behnaz is Vidal trained and it shows. My cut and color stayed in shape all the way until my next visit 8 weeks later. I continued to get compliments day after day. My hair was a bit dry and she recommended some product's that work great, my hair shines, flows and looks healthy. Watching her cut my hair was a pleasure and it was as if she was creating an art masterpiece and showed her natural ability and love for her profession. The quality of the color I asked for was better than I could have hoped for. She listened to me and did an amazing job! I finally found my gal. She is super sweet and gave a head and neck massage too! The music she had playing gave the place a nice vibe all in all it was a win win for me. I'm very pleased!!!!

First time in this barbershop, but not the first time with my barber, Kevin Hancock.Kevin was attentive to my concerns and listened to my wants, even offering some words of advice and wisdom in regards to my hair and beard.The more I go to Kevin, the more I realize just how great of a barber he is. I had to stop visiting him at an old barber shop due to costs, and every haircut I got in between that time and now, makes me realize he would have been, and is, worth every penny.That said, the barbershop is in an easy to get to location, parking is easy and nice.It is sandwiched next to some sort of eatery, which, if they have their covers up, blocks the name of the business untill you've already passed it if you're coming from the main road.The shop is on the smaller side, but that's not exactly an issue. Nor was booking my appointment. It is done through 'Square' and everything is set up and ready through a few easy prompts.Overall, I think I'm going to make sure to keep coming back to this barbershop, and Kevin specifically.
I have never gotten a shave at a barbershop, but I can already tell I'm never going anywhere else. I went in hoping for good service, but I got excellent service. Norm is insanely nice and welcoming. The shave was so relaxing, and very good, especially for the price. I can't wait to go back.

I came to the Gentlemen's Cutlery for the first time today and saw Marcus. I was throughly impressed with the entire shop. As soon as you walk in you know you're in a nice establishment.
When I got in Marcus' chair, he listened to what I wanted, gave me some advice, and I let him do his thing. I got the haircut and service I've been looking for since moving to sac 4 years ago! His attention to detail and the time he took to make sure everything looked good was very much appreciated. Getting a shampoo at the end was a nice touch! Marcus was also very friendly and easy to talk to.

Needed to find a place to have my beard trimmed. My regular barber would trim my beard too short the last time I asked and trying to trim it myself hasn't been working out. Dropped in to Anthony's on a Saturday at 11:30 am. They busy but able to get me into a barber chair with Alex. Alex did a fantastic job on my beard and will be going back regularly. If you looking for a barber, Anthony's is the place.

My favorite place for a spray tan! I've been twice and will continue to come here anytime I need a tan. Meghan did my first one and she was great. Took the time to figure out what I was going for my Cabo vacation and totally delivered! The other spray artist (can't recall who) was also amazing and took the notes from my first tan and delivered the perfect look for a girls weekend in Nashville. The space is beautiful and I'll always recommend this place to friends!

I found Kim by searching Yelp and the internet and was looking for someone close to me. I am so glad I found her! I had my first facial this week and could not be more happy! What I like is she talks with you about what your facial goals are, what your current facial routine and products. Also she does not solely depend on machines! I take good care of my skin and have had compliments on my skin but when I saw my face after she was done I was amazed! I highly recommend Kim!

I truly am not a fan of your new spray machine at all. My color is never even it’s always an issue not to mention all of the extra money you have to pay and it still doesn’t color you like you should be colored each and every time I come here it’s been an issue. I’ve never had these problems with your old machine. however, I have always enjoyed the professionalism of your establishment

Alycia was great! I love my Dazzle Dry Pedi. This is one of the few Salons in Sacramento that offer this healthier for your nails polish. The Salon is very clean and there are no harsh smells. No need to wear a mask. Offering a beverage was a treat too.

Sabina is great. I've been going to her and Mary since I was in HS (20+ yrs ago) she's managed to keep her prices fair even after covid and has always been nice and done a great job. The review that says she "doesn't like brown people" is an absolute lie. I'm a "brown person" and she has always been very kind to me as well as the other non-white customers I have seen in her shop.
Words can’t express how much I absolutely love the woman behind the talent at Jessica Alyse Studio. She’s became a part of my life and journey over the years and it was meant to be. It was love at first hair sight .. literally. I’ve changed so much and Jessica has been there to implement my vision every time. Kristina is the MVP of waxing. I was super nervous my first time and she made it light and easy to get comfortable. She's not only professional but personal with a side of hilarious. She tells you what's going to happen (unlike so many places that just rip around waxing you with no heads up) and she gives you a break if needed. Her products are just as amazing as she is. Not only have I gone back over and over and over again but then, when I recently moved several hours away, I went to somewhere new and had a horrible experience. I reached out to Kristina and she helped me find products to smooth my skin AND she reached out to her network to find me somewhere in my neighborhood to go see for waxing. BOOK WITH MANDEEP!!! Mandeep is the best! I have never had a more seamless and painless eyebrow threading session. I have large eyebrows with no shape which are easy to mess up and she did them really well. Mandeep measures out your eyebrows, draws the shape, and shows you the shape before she begins threading to make sure your eyebrows are exactly how you want them. It was also the most painless session I have ever had. I have never left a review on google before but had to do so for Mandeep. My sister and all friends go to Mandeep. I got my hair highlighted and cut by Jeanette and from start to finish it was a great experience! I had scoped out her IG beforehand and loved her natural sunkissed work. I brought in a few inspo photos of the dimensional bronde look I was going for as well as photos of what I didn't want. She really took the time to listen, ask questions, and make sure we were both on the same page which I appreciated. I liked that she told me what she was doing each step along the way (including what shampoo she used when washing). She even walked me through how to use a straightener to wave my hair. Overall, I had a great experience and I'm obsessed with how my hair turned out. She also cut off a good six inches since my ends were looking a little sad and I was ready for a healthy chop. Would highly recommend!

Both kinds are just beautiful! Julie takes her time to map out the brows that best fit our facial structure and agreeing on the shape before numbing and starting the procedure. I initially got my brows done by her in 2021 and three years later, Julie continues to be my go-to person and who I recommend to all my friends. I'm so happy I found this place. After one peel, my melasma is nearly gone! Jean was very knowledgeable and gave great advice. She initially rescheduled my appointment because I scheduled a peel in the summer, which is a no-no for peels. It was absolutely worth the wait, since later I heard from numerous estheticians and researched that peels can make melasma worse if the skin after a peel is exposed to sun, and with the hot summers in Sacramento, a peel would have ruined my skin. This place is amazing. They were able to fit me in last minute for a Brazilian wax and I’m glad they did because I had the best experience ever. Marisa is wonderful at what she does and is great at making you feel 100% comfortable. Would recommend for any waxing needs!

My first time, she took her time and let me know what was happening along the way. Waxing by her does NOT feel scary or bad like when I went to EWC. We did a couple's float and it was amazing! We were checked in quickly and took us back to show us around and explain the process. Both employees were kind and made us feel comfortable throughout our time at Saha. The lobby is welcoming and the area just beyond the lobby is very calming, and I appreciated the complimentary hair ties, reusable combs, hair dryer, etc. Our float was in Room 1 so one of the larger tubs and it was very clean and the tank seemed to be in great condition. They had everything you need from qtips, to earplugs, makeup wipes, and I'm very thankful their whole process has been thoroughly thought out so you don't have to do any preparation before arriving! My partner and I found it very easy to relax with the music and turning off the lights. We had no trouble finding a free parking spot in front of Saha but I recommend giving yourself some time to just in case. Overall we had a great experience and I highly recommend going to Saha Float for a date or implementing as part of your self care routine.

I love when I come to visit Jenneane at her shop! We have been trying to pinpoint how to keep my acne under control. We changed up my shampoo, found a at home skin care routine, did the series of the cell story treatment and it has help so much and helped with my scaring as well.

Viviana gives an amazing facial, she transcends you into a different universe. My skin always feels amazing when I leave and I'm so relaxed and rejuvenated. I also get sugared by her and she is a pro, I highly recommend her if you are sensitive to Brazilian waxing.

Making an appointment with her is really easy by text or calling. For eyebrows, she took her time and has an amazing attention to detail – I’ve received tons of compliments from family and friends. She makes the Brazilian super comfortable and is very efficient – it isn’t nearly as painful as other waxing places I’ve tried in the past, and I think that is truly a function of her many years of experience as a superb aesthetician. I come every month to do my facial. I still consider myself a newbie to skin care. In my 50's and trying to keep my skin youthful. I have large pores, oily skin, brown marks and white spots under my eyes. Erica is very knowledgeable and educates me on products and how my skin can benefit. My brown marks are lightening up, white spots gone and the crater holes I had from teenage acne days are minimized to some being gone. Over time and the follow through at home has made a big difference in my skin. One day I was running late 20 minutes she still took me in and did not make me feel bad. Another thing Erica does is have a list for you of all the products she will be using. She uses different products each time. And she stays on top of her game learning the most recent techniques and latest products. I do recommend her however I just want to keep her to my self.
My mother loves it when I get her gift cards from this Spa. The esthetician really knows how to work with her skin type. And the tea's they offer are on point!
I came here because I have some sore muscles from overtraining and injuries. I ask for deep tissue and did not mention any specific areas. She worked my body and seemed to know where my muscles were tight or sore. Her focus was asymmetric and properly address the knots in my neck and back. I found it extremely interesting that she massage both of my calves which had sensitive trigger-point/knots with different pressures. My left calf was only tight and she used deep hard pressure. It was right below the threshold of discomfort. My right calf has an injury and I feared it was going to be super painful if she applied the same pressure. To my surprise she did not apply the same pressure. She intuitively reduce the intensity significantly. I was relieved and amazed that she read my body so accurately. I ask for an hour and she might have gone over a few minutes. I regret not asking for 90 minutes. I have only ever had two massages. This one was the better of the two. She has good strength compared to the other place. The cost was reasonable and I felt obligated to tip well because I felt amazing while leaving. I am writing this review a few hour later than the massage and still feel great.
What an amazing experience.. I have been to many different aestheticians, Gina @saturdayskin is amazing . I received the most relaxing , rejuvenating facial .. followed by a chemical peel . The atmosphere is so relaxing .. what an incredible experience. Very clean and sanitary . I will be back . Thank u for the wonderful treatment ...
Rania is amazing! My skin was not in a good place a year ago and in that time she has completely transformed my skin. I've been to a lot of different people over the years and tried many different types of treatments with only temporary improvement. She customizes each of my treatments based on the progress of my skin to maximize the benefits and it shows. Would highly recommend her to anyone with serious acne and skin issues.
