“Dying breed tattoo is a shop that is welcoming to beginners all the way through experienced customers. The atmosphere is always positive and the entire shop supports each artist while they are tattooing. I personally get my work done from the shop owner Brandon, and he is second to none. I’ve seen the work by the other artists, and I would be 100% confident with any of them tattooing me.“

I always ask for her opinion to see whether a new haircut I want to try "fits" my face haha. She has a great eye for styling and cutting hair and I trust her greatly. He was extremely nice and understanding of what my vision was for my tattoo and what he came up with surpassed my expectations. He gave me some tips and thoughts on what might look better or what might enhance what I wanted done. And so we played around with the stenciling and found the perfect placement. I'm a big fan of DJ and his work and find that he has the best interest for all his clients. The vibe of the shop is very welcoming and comfortable. “I came in as a walk-in on a random Tuesday night while I was in Sacramento for work last month with an idea in mind but not a real design. Kirstie was super enthusiastic to do this Tattoo for me and had some ideas about how to design it. I went back the next day to get the tattoo, and Kirstie worked with me on sizing and finalizing the design. She was so super friendly and conscientious and empathetic during the work, plus gave me extra supplies and followed up with me the next day and again a couple weeks later. This was an awesome experience, made all the more real when I got another tattoo two weeks later which was the absolute worst experience I've ever had, but especially because I had Kirstie to compare to only a few weeks before. Also, the tattoo is healing wonderfully. No scabbing and still really vibrant colors. I'm so grateful to her.“
