I have been going to Kim for 12 years. I am a bartender and my nails are exposed to chemicals, citrus, alcohol and abuse. She is the best!!! All time record for nails staying on was during covid . ..3 months. I live in San Jose now and can not get regular fills . NO PROBLEM!!! Kim's nails last me 3-6 weeks. I have tried places in San Jose, I would rather drive to Sac. Never had a fungus or issue. And in 12 years she has nicked a cuticle 6 times, which is unbelievable. She was and still is extremely safe regarding Covid!!!

I just got my hair done yesterday and of course I love it! I have been going to Darryl since I was a preteen and his skills are unmatched. My hair before was very dark brown and I have naturally curly hair. Got a color and highlights and flat iron. It looks so great and healthy. Also the shop is easy to locate and has a very peaceful atmosphere.

Let me just say, you will not be disappointed if you make a visit to Alberto!! I decided to bleach my hair (at home) and ending up with patchy, orange, blonde, grey! Nothing short of a disaster. I contacted Alberto and not only did he stay late after a very long day, he actually fixed my hair!! He is energetic and takes his time and he listens to what you want. He will be honest and let you know if it can happen that day or a couple of visits. He is a MIRACLE worker lol. Wonderful man, great spirit and really cute spot. I highly recommend him!

I really like this place. The people here are great. I always get a fade and it's always great. Also the price is good to, I pay less then 20$ every time. No appointment needed! My first impression of Jody is that she is a healthy, fit looking woman who has a professional and pleasant demeanor. Although providing massages is her main service, it seems she also does cupping and reiki. That's a sign of a truly rounded individual who likes to heal people, and believe me, for a masseuse, that's exactly who you'd want! A true masseuse is a healer and you'll rarely find one. She likes to get feedback from her first time customers. She is quite adaptable to your individual needs! I find that her massage is unique. She uses a combination of acupressure and modality massage. I think this method is especially useful for those with injuries, limited range of motion, and seniors, not that the regular person can't benefit also. Rate is $85/hr for integrative massage.
NonieShe is fantastic..I am 65 and fit but after coming to her all the pain is gone!!!!. Trust me.. I hurt!She really works the muscles in need.. and understands the body's natural poise and gives it a straighting out . This place reminds me of a modern day "Cheers" only with people getting beauty care instead of drinking beers. This is a place where it appears everyone knows your name. More of a social gathering among friends while getting pampered at the same time. I was unable to get an appointment at my regular salon or anywhere else. I was so happy that the owner herself was able to get me in last minute. I have lived near the Crestview Shopping for many years and this is the first time I checked out this salon as I never noticed it before. It is nice to know I can get some beauty pampering which was not only convenient, but affordable and satisfying. Everyone there made me feel comfortable and welcome. FYI: I visited prior to business shutting down, I just forgot to post my review and once the shelter in place is lifted, I will definitely be back.

Amazing! I have only been in carmichael for 1.5 years and have tried 2 different hairstylists but just didn't "click". As soon as I arrived Matha greeted me and began to ask my hair history (that's never happened) and gave ne options for my visit rather than "ok you booked a haircut let's get you in and out". She is extremely informative when it comes to products and hair. Martha brought my hair back to life after an at home bad bleach job. If that wasn't enough she is such great conversation! I just had a very good experience with Arrow Plumbing. I had been very stressed trying to get an estimate to get my toilet flange removed so I could install a new toilet myself . The original was not installed correctly years ago with no concrete below it in subfloor and an unlevel flange to boot. I was getting crazy over the phone estimates without anyone willing to come out in person to look at it. Finally, I called Arrow Plumbing in Carmichael and spoke to their office person, Stacie. She maintained her pleasant manner throughout even with me getting a bit cranky from previously built up frustrations trying to get other plumbers to come out. She sent Steve out who was just what I expected or at least hoped for in a plumber. He shared his knowledge and explained in detail which gave me confidence that I could take care of the issue myself without replacing the flange. I live close to their shop and they didn't charge a fee to come out but not sure if that is the case if you live further away. With my old plumber retiring, I now have Arrow Plumbing in Carmichael to take his place.
Glad I found this business! We had no water pressure in the kitchen sink and there was loud knocking in the pipes. John was so nice and checked out everything, found out our toilet was leaking, the water valve was turned really low, and the fill tank was broken (I don't know much about toilets) he schedules an appointment and fixed it right away. I just had the perfect myofascial massage by Lauren. I have several bulging discs in my spine, including one in my neck. My neck gets so stiff and tense to the point where holding my head up can sometimes be difficult.I appreciate Lauren listening to my request to focus on my neck and head. She did exactly that (and got the muscles attached to the neck on the upper back).Her pressure was perfect when I asked her to go softer some areas and then firmer in others.She let me relax in silence so I could focus on breathing through the sensitive areas and enjoy the relief as she worked other areas.It really was the perfect massage. And I got the full hour! Lol some places I've been to book you for an hour but then only give you 45 or 50 minutes.I will work on making this a weekly self-care routine. Great work!

I hired Ronnie to clean up a section of my yard that had previously had wood raised beds. The walkways were infested with weeds and Bermuda grass and needed a huge redo. The project was different in that I wanted to keep all of my native flowering perennials already in the beds but have the wood bed surrounds removed and replaced with dry stacked stones.
