“I HIGHLY recommend Wilson Escalante, and will definitely use his services again for any future landscaping or garden projects. I wanted to replace my lawn with a sitting area and raised garden beds. I gave Wilson a graph paper drawing and lots of descriptions, and he made what was in my head come to life. We got multiple estimates, and his was less than half of the highest estimate - and he stuck to his estimate exactly, even fixing an existing broken pipe and trimming my lemon tree for free. Plus he’s really nice and knowledgeable, and just great to work with.“
“Jack has significantly improved the overall quality of our home's curb appeal and outdoor living spaces and we're not done utilizing his services yet. You will not regret using his company for your landscaping and concrete needs. He's patient with our "one project at a time approach" but I have no doubt he could knock everything out all at once. Through the initial concrete and drainage work we first hired him for, we were drawn to his professionalism and quality of work so much that we continued to hire him for jobs as we planned them out. Along with his office manager and wife Aubrey, we've always had professional and responsive interactions with them concerning our various projects. That combined with their quality of work is difficult to find and why we will continue to use and recommend them. He has done concrete work in our backyard, side yard, driveway, and front walkway. He installed drainage around our home that diverts water away and he has transformed our front yard to a space we will enjoy for years to come. About the only thing good to come from my neighbor's excessive overwatering and flooding my backyard was being given Jack's contact information from a friend.“

“When it came time to finally tackle the backyard landscaping, I reached out to Chris McKoy to come by for an estimate and to also hear his ideas on what we could do in our (very small) backyard space.My main concern was to find a way to prevent any possible flooding issues that may arise from a strong rainstorm, especially since our backyard is located at the end of a small hill. Chris also shared the same concern, and was super knowledgeable and provided excellent ideas on how to mitigate the potential flooding risk.I also wanted to incorporate a stamped concrete patio area, a strip of artificial turf with additional drainage underneath, and an elevated planter area with irrigation along the back fence. Chris offered the best suggestions and recommendations, and his estimate was very fair and competitive.Although the wait time was around three months (which was made abundantly clear at the time of the estimate and I was totally fine with it), the wait was definitely worth it. Chris and his team did a fantastic job with coordinating all the steps required to complete our backyard, and he did an excellent job communicating with me about his schedule and updated timelines. He was able to work with me to get the exact vision that I wanted for my backyard.In the end, Chris and his crew made sure that I was absolutely happy with everything. “This landscape maintenance service has been caring for the grounds of the gated community I live in for several years now. They work hard to keep our cozy neighborhood green and well manicured! The Suncountry community is nestled in a not so positive part of South Sacramento. But as you enter the gate, it's like being in a "Stepford Wives" movie. Everything botanically related, is constantly maintained, trimmed, pruned, watered, fertilized, pest controlled, weeded, and beautifully colorized with flowers of the season. There's something about coming home from a long day at work and just admiring the lawns, trees and shrubs groomed to perfection. And the walking paths are always a pleasure to stroll through. The landscape crew are almost always present on a daily basis. Working hard, yet friendly enough to stop for a moment and wave at the residents, then, back to business like worker bees. I have very little to complain about our landscape services except that they sometimes blow leaves through the gates to the side yards (this I have witnessed myself), which is a little annoying because they aren't commissioned to do resident's backyards. So it is extra work for me to have to clean up all those leaves that didn't even come from my yard in the first place! But what a luxury it is to not have to maintain my front yard! Yes, I pay high homeowners association dues for this, so I can live in a neighborhood where the homes and the grounds look good at all times. It's my oasis in the hood!“
