I bought a Shuly wig in Houston and loved it, although it was thin and flat on my head. I went to Brooklyn with an appointment and had sent photos of my hair color ahead. I had references too. They made me wait 4 hours and said they had no wigs in strawberry blonde, or reddish blonde. They took everyone ahead of me. I asked for 16 to 18 inches. Then in exhaustion I went to my next appointment Freida wigs. As I left I saw many wigs (Shetels) in the color I wanted and long. I said you do have my hair color. They said oh we did not think you could afford a $5,000 wig, which I was expecting on paying more. I went to Greida and they helped me right away and I bought 2 expensive wigs. I think they are snobby at Shuly and I had references too. I also like Shevy wigs.

Booked a session with Suzie. She was very attentive and helpful with doing my hair. It was the first seeing a new stylist in 30 years. She took her time and explained step by step what she was doing. I have short hair, so it was nice to see her take good care of me while trimming my hair. Haircut came out great and she washed my hair afterwards. Head massage add on was fantastic and highly recommended. Location was easy to get to, just a few blocks off the L train. Look forward to seeing her again.

I had a wonderful experience! My natural hair was taken care of, I received a style (Hybrid sew in with K tips) that suited me, my lifestyle, and matched exactly what I was looking for. I have flexibility, volume, and the extensions are seamless.
The roof became a topic because of a heatwave. Several apartments on the top floor were becoming significantly warmer than the rest of the building. NY Roofing's inspection revealed aging insulation and a roofing system that wasn't performing nearly as well as it once had. The project involved a full replacement with upgraded insulation and reflective materials designed to reduce heat absorption. Most building projects are hard to measure day to day. This one wasn't. People started commenting on the difference almost immediately. That's not something you hear very often about a roof.

Where do I start? For starters, Kathy is SUCH A SWEETHEART. She is so positive, warm, and a pleasure to work with. Second, her studio is beautiful!! For something as unpleasant as a wax, her environment makes you feel comfortable immediately, a true reflection of who she is. Finally, this wax experience has been the most pleasant one ever. The wax she uses does not pull on the skin so while there is mild discomfort, its nothing like what I've felt with soft wax or other mediums. I had minimal swelling and no irritation.
Bottom line: Kathy is a true gem of an esthetician and I look forward to seeing her again. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, rather I am needing to contain myself to succinctly express all the positives there is to say!

Shine did a lovely job! I don’t typically do extensions but after I had a lash lift at another salon my lashes grew in a bit wonky and uneven with bent ends.
I just wanted a very natural low maintenance look ahead of a vacation. We did 60 of the 8-9mm size (shortest two length to my knowledge) lashes (I selected natural classic and asked for a muted version of what would have been typically done).
I’m very happy with it! I think they look like I have naturally thick and dark lashes (when mine naturally are blonde at the ends and don’t curl up much). Photo is with no mascara in daylight. Thanks, Shine!

I’ve always struggled with allergic reactions from lash glue and was honestly about to stop getting my lashes done. Over the past year, I tried a few different places around the neighborhood, but I kept having the same allergic reaction every time. (I don’t blame the lash techs because I know it’s just my allergy) but it was super frustrating.
When I met Tatiana, everything changed! She actually listened to my concerns and offered to do a patch test before starting (no one had ever done that before). She was so patient, careful, and really made sure I felt comfortable. For the first time in a year, I had no allergic reaction at all, not even redness, which I know it can be normal.
She’s super kind, really cares about her clients, and you can tell she loves what she does. Her work is beautiful and natural. she’s the best!

Michelle was an exceptional makeup artist for my wedding! Not only did she do a lovely job with my bridal makeup (which lasted all night) she crushed it with my giant wedding party. Aside from makeup, she became a huge source of calm throughout the wedding. Not only did she make sure my makeup was good to go, she helped me with my tiara, veil, and entrance, even chasing a random loose dog down the aisle when a non guest let them off the leash near by. I couldn't be more grateful to Michelle! And in the wedding photos you can really tell the makeup was high quality. Me and all of my bridesmaids were thrilled. I had my helix pierced by Zoey he was very respectful, and nice. I first came to his shop for an industrial but when he saw my ears he made sure to mention that my ears weren’t shaped for an industrial and gave me other piercing options. That’s very good to know when getting anything pierced, The place is very nice to look at there’s a lot of cool drawings inside the place and there was music playing I really like the vibe. The pain was not bad at all. The price was not bad it was 70$ to get a helix on both ears. The price he was going to charge me when I asked for industrial on my right was 50$ which was pretty cheap in my opinion. I’m thankful I came here I left happy and pierced!

Once @ the shop and she showed me her design, it was perfect. There is no one else I would have do a tattoo as important as this one. Also, everyone there was very kind!
JD is a true artist. This was my first tattoo, and I was a little nervous at first. Immediately, I felt safe and comfortable–and trusted his process. He took time to ensure everything looked perfect before he began. Including readjusting some of the design, and perfecting the geometric lines. We even went over an hour because he wanted it to be not just a tattoo, but a work of art. He took my plethora of ideas, and turned into something that I did not even know was possible. I also L-O-V-E-D the 90s dance music playing as he did his work. I am coming back asap to work on my sleeve. 10 stars!

We needed a new breaker box, as ours was falling apart. CS came by to give me a quote and checked out the electrical in the whole apartment. I thought I might have to rewire the whole place, but they told me that after they swapped out the box that it would probably fix our issues. They steered me away of spending money I didn't need to spend, when they could have easily told me I needed to do more work. They came in, put in the new box, left the apartment cleaner than it was, and were super nice the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I chose Sterling Electric based on the good reviews here and I want to add my own. My apartment has incredibly old wiring and electrical boxes and I picked a fixture that really did not work but the electrician from Sterling Electric figured out a creative way to make it fit. Freddy and his co-worker came the following morning to fix our LG Thin Q dryer which was so appreciated. Our dryer was taking forever to dry clothes. He explained the negatives of the model up front. Freddy said he could do a comprehensive maintenance, replace the thermostat and clean out the interiors large lint build up hidden around the inside of the barrel and all interior areas. We have no exterior venting due to living in an apartment
. He pointed out that this may not resolve the situation and there could be a heat pump issue and that we need to decide if we would rather just get a new machine. We decided to proceed with the work but so appreciated his honesty in saying we may be better of not paying him for the services but putting that towards a new stacking washer/dryer. That transparency is priceless. Our dryer now works like new! I would highly recommend Onefserice and Freddy for any appliance needs.

I rarely write reviews, but their professionalism impressed me so much that I had to share my experience. I own a mix of rugs collected from trips a Moroccan flatweave, a small silk Persian runner, and a larger Turkish wool rug. They handled each one like a separate project, explaining how Persian rug cleaning requires different care than Turkish rug cleaning or Moroccan rug cleaning. They picked up everything directly from my apartment and transported it to their facility with modern machines and drying systems. When the rugs came back about eight days later, they looked richer in color and had zero harsh smell, which matters a lot to me. This company genuinely knows how to respect quality materials.

I’m leaving a 5-star review because, at the end of the day, the work was excellent, the price was fair, and every person we interacted with was kind and professional. We did encounter some communication issues along the way, but the quality of the final product and the courtesy of the team truly stood out.
We contracted Gaudioso for renovations on our new home in early March. We received a thorough, detailed quote very quickly, and the overall professionalism at the start was impressive. Shortly afterward, our HVAC system unexpectedly broke, and we needed to pause our original plans. Gaudioso was patient and kept in touch appropriately while we figured things out. When we changed the scope a month later and asked for help with the HVAC, they sent someone out immediately, which we really appreciated.
Up to this point, our experience had been fantastic. Where things became challenging was in receiving the updated estimate. For several understandable reasons: questions about whether the HVAC needed full replacement and someone being out on vacation—the quote was delayed. However, it was still very stressful to have to follow up multiple times, especially as the project stretched into the summer when we urgently needed AC. We also felt unsettled on the first day of work when the project manager, who had been to our home previously, seemed unclear about the details of the project. It made us concerned about how this project would go. Additionally, despite several requests to make my husband the primary contact (and even setting up a group text), communication continued to go only to me, which was frustrating.
Once the work actually began, though, everything went smoothly. The workers who came to the house were consistently kind, respectful, and tidy. They did a wonderful job on both the bathroom and the HVAC. After the initial hiccups, the project manager’s communication improved significantly when it came to decisions about shower doors, tile, and other details. There were still a few moments where communication could have been clearer, but things ultimately worked out well.
Overall, we’re very happy with the final result and with the professionalism of the team once the project was underway. Gaudioso is a great company with skilled, courteous workers, and with a few improvements to communication and project coordination, the experience could be even better. We would work with them again.

Also gave us photos of the evidence for us to present to the LandLords and 311 when they come out, which will be so helpful. Worth every penny.

Eli is amazing to work with! He was very thoughtful about how to prune Q Gardens' beloved but problematic mulberry tree to best effect for maximizing light over our crop beds. He introduced us to the concept of pruning trees to reduce the sense of protection from predatory birds that they can give rats. The short version: this is how the dentist should be. A comfortable space, nice people, quick/easy/painless experience, and actually reasonable price. I have no notes.
Longer version: I promise this isn’t a paid review lol. This is actually one of the first reviews I’ve written. I felt compelled…because I grew up with a great dentist in my hometown, and when I tried to find a new dentist in Brooklyn, I mostly found overpriced “boutique” options, or cheap options with bad reviews — but then Reddit led me to SmileLounge, and the experience ended up being better than my old dentist, and for a fair/average price of $295 for first time cleaning + exam.
I called and got an appointment next day. The waiting room was clean/modern, and it even smelled good (incense or infused oils?). The music playing overhead was quiet and chill (frank ocean). Front desk woman very nice. Only had to wait about five minutes to be seen.
The small/medium sized exam room was also clean and comfortable. There’s a TV in front of you when you sit in the chair—they had British Bake Show on, muted with subtitles, it was calming. Hygienist was pleasant and friendly, but also not too talkative! Overall, she was quick and efficient and thorough. She started with quick easy X-rays, then took some actual photos (you get to see the up-close video or your mouth on the screen in front of you—was interesting to actually see where I had build-up, etc). She then asked if I wanted any numbing gel before cleaning. I told her I don’t think I need it (haven’t used it before or been offered it before at other offices). But she said I’m gonna go ahead and put some on your bottom gums (why not?). She mostly used the pressurized water to clean. I basically didn’t feel any pain. Even with the actual metal scraper tool. There was one moment where I winced a bit, and without being asked she put a small amount of numbing gel on that specific part of my gums. The cleaning only took about 20 minutes.
The main dentist then came in immediately to review (I’ve had to wait around a while for this final stage at other dentists). She was also very friendly and informative. She only suggested that a mouth guard could be helpful, and explained why, based on the unique wear of my teeth. But she didn’t push it too hard or pressure me, just wanted me to be aware.
The entire experience was only about 45 minutes. Chill and painless, even pleasant. I signed up for a membership. A good deal for good treatment, compared to other dentist offices.
As a new patient, my experience at Midtown Dental Group Park Slope was excellent from start to finish. The sign-in and paperwork process was simple, and the hygienist and dental staff were patient, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. My first visit was smooth, comfortable, and truly impressive.

I had such a positive experience on my first visit. It started with receptionist named Deneva being so kind and understanding of my needs when I called. Deneva fit me in to the schedule so I could get evaluated & treated for my cleaning. The office was clean and my dentist. Dr. Martin was amazing. She was very gentle and very reassuring. She gave me a referral on some of the concerns that she had with my teeth and everything that she explained to me was very clear! I love that the people here cared, and they took their time. I already booked my returning visit!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Ouzidane and his team! They were so kind and accommodating—they got me in last minute when I really needed it. Dr. Ouzidane has an amazing bedside manner; he took his time explaining everything and made me feel completely at ease. Plus, another dentist I visited wanted to charge me $150 for a filling even though they were in-network. At Dr. Ouzidane’s office, I only had a $15 co-pay, and it was also in-network. I’m so glad I found this place highly recommend!
Dr. Steinbach is outstanding. I needed major dental work done. During each appointment I was comfortable and am extremely happy with all he's done to make my smile beautiful and most importantly healthy!

My Father Mr. Awan who is in his late 80s was seen on 11/13/25 at this location. He had a decayed root removed. We were impressed with how the staff welcomed us and took care of my father. The Dentist is worth all the reviews and was top notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dentist!
I had my teeth cleaned here last week and honestly, it was very well done. The hygienist was very gentle and professional, and the office is clean and modern. However, I wanted to follow up with Invisalign and a frontal implant, but their prices for those major treatments were a bit too expensive for me. I would recommend them. <3 <3 >3

Dr. Verzub is an excellent podiatrist. Dr Verzub corrects direction of my big toe nails to avoid painful ingrowns . Dr removes them painlessly as well as quickly. As I’ve suffered for so long with improperly ingrown toenails ,until I found Dr verzub.
I was referred to her from a relative who is a patient of hers . Dr verzub was highly recommended for my issue.
Also, her staff is great , kind and helpful.

I love the name hands of gold so much for this chiropractic office. Doc Peloquin is so well versed in many different methodologies that I always feel like I’m getting just the right treatment for what ails me. My neck was so tight I didn’t think I’d adjust but he took his time and applied several different techniques to loosen me up before attempting to do it. The adjustment was successful and the wave of relief was huge!!

All of the doctors at this practice are wonderful and great at what they do. Honestly, I’ve been receiving treatment of my injuries from a car accident, and I already see a significant difference in the way that I feel. They prioritize healing and care above all.
I've had a great experience with Jason at Functional Rehab Chiropractic. Beyond the hands-on adjustments, what really set them apart was that they gave me tools and exercises to keep doing at home. It wasn't just about the appointment itself. I left with a real plan for managing things on my own. That combination of in-office treatment and take-home guidance made a noticeable difference. For years I suffered with a lot of pain on both arms due to a fall in 2012. On one arm I have a partial tear and the other a full tear. I been to therapy and have taken pain medication, but nothing helped. While on Facebook I saw the doctor using Wave Therapy. I decided to try it and it has helped the pain and the motion on both of my arms. Administration is very cordial and always made sure you are okay. The doctor is amazing very professional, friendly and shows that he cares for his patients. If you are hurting and nothing has helped, try wave Therapy etc.

I came in with a pimple in my ear that I had been dealing with for most of my life. I had tried everything before — freezing treatments, creams, and even another dermatologist who only gave me more cream without really doing anything. When I came here, they actually took the time to treat it properly by draining it completely, and for the first time it has sincerely gone away. I cannot thank them enough for finally helping me with something I had struggled with for so long. She was absolutely phenomenal, and I only wish I remembered her name so I could personally thank her in this review.

Dr. Abou-Fayssal has been treating my 31 y/o son since April 2025 for his hemi-spasticity and hemiparesis/hemiplegia from a hemorrhagic stroke in Aug 2024. She is wonderful! Since starting botox injections there is a noticeable improvement in his muscle rigidity and bicep contracture, and better fluidity in walking. Dr. Abou is thoughtful, precise, and cautious. She explains the plan of care thoroughly and tailors it for each individual. Her staff is awesome, her scheduler/receptionist is pleasant with a ready smile, her assistant/nurse is super friendly and helpful. We've also seen her at the NYU 55th St Brooklyn location.

My first experience at GVH was years ago with my cat, and it was great—super nice staff. Now I have three dogs, and we’ve already visited twice. I truly trust this place because they take excellent care of my dogs. The clinic is clean, cozy, and very welcoming. That’s all that matters to me.
I have taken 2 cats' there. When my 1st was sick and eventually had to be put down, Dr. Max and the staff were wonderful. Helping me figure out what was wrong and explaining things to me as far as maybe putting her down. They took my second cat no problem and were just as great with treating her. She has anxiety and a heart murmur and again Dr. Max was wonderful with her. When I was getting ready to move out of the state I asked a lot of questions about how to travel with her, medication, etc... They are a wonderful place and I recommend anyone take their pets there.

I made an account just to rave about this place Dr. Lutanskiy is amazing he helped my dog with his upset stomach, and his staff were so kind. Most importantly the prices were fair, and they were upfront about everything. An honest vet is rare in New York.
the location was in 67 bayridge brooklyn I highly not recommend this vet when it comes to safe a life i felt ignore. I went there with my sphinx cat looking for help crying in pain the vet didn't even took a look at her just sent the receptionist to the front to tell me about the prices of their bussiness. instead of helping me to safe my cat she was only 5 years the only thing they said was take her to the humane society in Manhattan we don't take walk in after all that time my cat died in the way the humane vet said it was a blood clot she died in pain that if at least this place woulded stabilize her to calm her with the pain she woulded made it alive what would a pain killer cost I woulded paid if this place really care for cats in need of help why the vet didn't even check her and help me out she probably would've being here today with me. I won't recommend it is more about the money than the care of a pet sorry. they left me with a bad feeling of their way of receiving animal at their place.
Dr Ryan was great--loving, detailed and attention to everything, but in no way over cautious, which I find unkind to animals. (early/ often surgeries/ treatments for animals can cause more suffering instead of easing illness/ disease) Everyone was warm, answered all my questions, showed me all the details and records, and gave me a 360-degree view of my cat's health. Awesome.

Animal Clinic of Canarsie has been a great place to take my pets over the years. The vet and the staff are incredibly friendly and personable and I've found their rates quite affordable.
They got my 2 cats in quickly and were so sweet and understanding to my scared little guys. They were kind, helpful, patient, informative, and thorough. 1000/10
They took in my new adopted cat last minute after noticing he kept vomiting every day. Checking in was very easy with simple paperwork. The didn’t take long to see my cat and the vet took her time figuring out the issue by asking many questions. After the examination, she gave me affordable options before doing expensive treatments. After choosing the affordable option, it didn’t take very long to receive the prescribed food. Now it’s been a couple of months since the visit. My cat is now in a much healthier weight and no longer vomits every day. I am very pleased with my experience.
Other things to be aware of: it is a very busy clinic. The front desk lady is handling calls, check ins, and payments at the same time.
I have been taking my Chihuahua to Pure Pets for five years. My dog is a rescue and pure paws made him feel at ease, since the first day I started taking him and that makes me feel at ease, as a pet parent ?
Dr Ramos is always so personable and knowledgeable. She listens to your concerns and questions and is thorough in her communication. She has incredible compassion for the pets she sees and treats them with such care. The staff at Northside were all very friendly and helpful as well.
I genuinely owe Dr. Loose so much! I adopted a senior pup and would go out from Manhattan to Bushwick for her to see him. Dr. Loose has always advocated for the best care possible at a reasonable price. She cares so much about our pets and puts so much thought into making visits comfortable and positive for pets. You can see that in all the details of the new clinic. My pup has now passed and Dr. Loose was so kind when I let her know. If my cat didn't hate the subway so much, I would take him all the way to Bushwick too! I would recommend Dr. Loose a thousand times over. You really could not find a better vet and person to trust with your pet's care.

I have been using Pawsability for over a year now, and they are undoubtedly the best dog care facility I have used. They exceed expectations in every category, and go above and beyond to make sure both the kiddos and parents are taken care of, while operating as a non profit which directly impacts members of the local community. A great indicator of how excellent they are is the lack of employee turnover, which is often an issue with other facilities. Not only is the daycare great, but having the onsite grooming is a game changer. I am truly grateful that Carmela and I have Pawsability.
This place is incredible. By far the best in the neighborhood for grooming, daycare (with dropoff/pickup!) and boarding.

Have 0 complaints about this spa. Best in the business and I have tried several here in NYC!

With in minutes of the first class of Yoga For Strong Bones, Jennifer showed me how to sit comfortably crosslegged with multiple props. I told her that I felt my investment was worth it with just that. She made me more aware of holding tension and releasing tension and breathing more effectively. She led us through 12 poses that are alleged, according to the NY Times, to prevent and even reverse osteoporosis. I've been taking privates with Tara, the owner of Lula Body, over the past two or so years and I've seen incredible physical -- and mental -- shifts in that time. Tara's holistic approach has not only led to meaningful improvements in my mobility and straighter posture, but she has also encouraged me to deepen my relationship with my body outside of our sessions. The physical therapy she recommended, the suggestions she made around personal training and massage -- all of it has made me stronger and more balanced. When I've worked with the other instructors at Lula, I've had incredible sessions with them as well, and I'm eager to try more classes soon. If you're looking for a great studio in the area, I could not recommend Lula Body more!

Alex is an exceptional Pilates instructor. He is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to explain every movement with patience and precision. His attention to proper form and technique makes each class both challenging and safe. I appreciate how thorough he is in his instruction, making sure everyone understands the purpose of each exercise and performs it correctly. I highly recommend him and Club Pilate!
Love Jen and her awesome studio - go to Pilates 1 to 2 times a week.Jen teaches so you are getting the best of the best! She has so many different classes, tower, mat pilates, and reformer. She does small group classes and also private. She is so fun and funny and really good at teaching Pilates. Love Red Hook Pilates!
Mandi is an incredibly caring, intuitive and experienced pilates instructor AND so much more. Mandi combines her knowledge of the body with other healing modalities of Reiki and Sound Healing in order to address the physical and spiritual, which are so intertwined. She is one-of-a-kind, caring, intuitive, wise and committed and I can't recommend her highly enough.

It didn’t feel generic at all—Chris listened to my body’s needs, addressing aches and pains with a focus that felt tailored, especially as a new mom navigating all the changes in my body. I can’t explain how transformative this experience has been. I come all the way from New Jersey to Brooklyn to reduce the cellulite on my legs and having the body contour on my abs. From the moment I walk in, I’m greeted By welcoming staff and I’m serviced immediately. I could tell you step-by-step what it is, but you literally have to see for yourself. I had an excellent experience at this foot doctor’s office. The staff was welcoming, professional, and very organized from the moment I walked in. Doctor Giustiniano took her time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. I never felt rushed, and the treatment plan was both effective and easy to understand.

First time having real therapy. I was told to come see Dr. Dan for my neck pain. I walked out feeling like a brand new person.
Today was my second therapy session at TULA with Evelyn Yim, and Evelyn was patient, informative and encouraging. I learned a great deal about how the exercises can help strengthen the muscles of even an older person like myself, and I was so pleased that Evelyn took the time to answer my questions and concerns. In addition, her thoughtful emails have been evidence of her listening to me and of a professional caring for her client.
I’ve been working with AJ for the past few months and I can honestly say he’s the best personal trainer I’ve ever had. From day one, he took the time to understand my goals, fitness level, and any limitations I had. He created a customized plan that challenges me but never feels overwhelming.
What I love most about AJ is his perfect balance of motivation and patience. He pushes me to go harder when I need it, but always makes sure my form is perfect and I’m training safely. Megah and Rahman were very helpful healing my foot and strengthening my leg after surgery. They gave me lots of at home exercises to keep up my recovery. Amanda is so helpful scheduling appointments and dealing with logistics and paperwork. They are a great team.
This place is truly lovely, and every staff member has been amazing. I've been coming here for the past two years and wouldn't want to change a thing. I always feel heard and understood, which means a lot to me.
Tribeca PT, Dr Wing and Dr Yuan are phenomenal! They are very knowledgeable and helpful. I came in with severe neck pain, after the first visit I was able to turn my neck again, did not feel much pain right after massage, adjustment and cupping. Dr Wing is a magician and so is Dr Yuan. They both explain the mechanism of injuries and how it impacts mobility and movement very well. I have learned a lot from the sessions, the exercise program is working to improve a lot of other issues I have had. Very happy with the place, the place itself is very nice as well.
Massage was intense and exercise/stress was exceptional. It felt like I had my own personal trainer.
After 3 knee surgeries ( replacement, infection and replacement again) BBW has always been terrific with handling insurance and working so hard to get me up and running again!! They all truly care and do their best working on the injuries as well as setting up “at home exercise programs”. Great team at the Williamsburg location!!

I’ve been dealing with neck pain for over 20 years. After countless doctor visits, X-rays, scans, and appointments, the only real solution I was ever offered was a steroid shot. I had heard about acupuncture before, but no one ever seriously suggested it as an option.
After just two sessions with Nicole, I can honestly say this is the first time in my life I’ve felt real relief and genuine hope that I may actually be able to live pain free one day.
What surprised me even more was realizing just how much tension and stress I had been carrying in my upper back for years without even fully recognizing it. The physical and mental relief after these sessions has been incredible.

I’ve only been seeing Hae Jung for a few weeks and the experience has been truly transformative, both mentally and physically. I initially came in for what I thought would be a quick session to address hand pain and anxiety, but she uncovered and treated issues that went much deeper. Since then, she has become an essential part of my weekly wellness routine.

Sophie is fantastic. I had never done acupuncture prior to 2021, and I initially went to her to address a never-before-experienced bout of insomnia (I had been awake for 6 or 7 days and nothing I did worked. The first time I had acupuncture with Sophie, later that night, I slept 6 hours. I have seen her ever since.)
She has also reduced chronic TMJ pain and supported general stress management.
While I was in physical therapy for a torn meniscus (and later, recovering from surgery post-op), acupuncture with her was a key component of my pain management practice.
She is very knowledgeable, kind, and her space is comfortable and convenient. I have seen her on and off for over 5 years and I've referred 2 friends and my husband, all of whom now also see her regularly.
