Allie and Michael- 10/10. I am struggling to find the right words to reflect the massive positive impact they had on my weekend. From Friday night makeup in my room with the moms to Saturday morning with all the bridal party, following me around the property for touch ups, they were so bright, positive, fun, professional, and felt like family. I will truly miss them!! I have never felt more beautiful in my life, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

“I bought a Shuly wig in Houston and loved it, although it was thin and flat on my head. I went to Brooklyn with an appointment and had sent photos of my hair color ahead. I had references too. They made me wait 4 hours and said they had no wigs in strawberry blonde, or reddish blonde. They took everyone ahead of me. I asked for 16 to 18 inches. Then in exhaustion I went to my next appointment Freida wigs. As I left I saw many wigs (Shetels) in the color I wanted and long. I said you do have my hair color. They said oh we did not think you could afford a $5,000 wig, which I was expecting on paying more. I went to Greida and they helped me right away and I bought 2 expensive wigs. I think they are snobby at Shuly and I had references too. I also like Shevy wigs.“

“The roof became a topic because of a heatwave. Several apartments on the top floor were becoming significantly warmer than the rest of the building. NY Roofing's inspection revealed aging insulation and a roofing system that wasn't performing nearly as well as it once had. The project involved a full replacement with upgraded insulation and reflective materials designed to reduce heat absorption. Most building projects are hard to measure day to day. This one wasn't. People started commenting on the difference almost immediately. That's not something you hear very often about a roof.“

“Last summer my daughter got her first haircut at Anton’s, which was great, and she was super excited about it. All salon personnel were incredibly sweet to her.

This year, however, I was not expecting to wake up to my girl having had lobbed off crazy amounts of hair at super dark-thirty (am) with a pair of kid scissors. I tried to see if I could work with it, but even simple pigtails looked horrible bc one side had more hair than the other and it was all choppy…everywhere. Plus, she cut herself some long bangs…and even managed to cut an inch 1/2 piece almost to her scalp. ‘Twas not a good time. She had her end of year dance show two days from when she did it to herself. (And was crying at herself in the mirror exclaiming, “this is a NIGHTMARE”)!

Thank the Lord and every kind thing in this world, Collette opened on her day off to fix my baby’s hair. She fixed my rambunctious child’s hair and she’s loved it since. She got to be a bee for her two dance numbers in front of the school, hair in tack (albeit much shorter than the lower back length she had preceding her fiasco). I am thoroughly appreciative to Collette. My little stinker had her Pre-K Graduation today, with a few more dance numbers and everything was lovely.

Also, the last time Collette halo foiled my hair and added the pink, I loved it. She even spent extra time on me when I was unsure about something. I was exceedingly happy with the end result. She also gave me a haircut that I absolutely adored.

Anton’s is a phenomenal salon and I plan to go soon.“

“I had an awesome experience with Luba. My previous experience with getting my make up done for an occasion wasn’t so great as I’m really not a fan of overly done makeup up. And so I came in to Luba asking for a make up look that’s natural but at the same time will last and look flattering. She absolutely delivered. My make up looked great and at the same, not at all overwhelming. Highly recommend.“

I’ve had my brows shaped, waxed, tinted, and have gotten a lash lift and tint since then! From my first appointment with Daryna, she has been meticulous about her work. She mapped out my brows to make sure they were even and listened to me when I asked if we could change the shape. She remembers what I want every month that I go get them done! She did my first ever lash lift & tint and it came out beautifully. Her studio is super cute and clean.
