“I’ve been either recommending people to this shop or coming here myself since 2007, so the fact that I’m still supporting them all these years later says a lot. Since 2024, I’ve personally gotten three pieces done here, and I’ve had consistently positive experiences.
My most recent visit was especially great. Bana at the front desk was warm, helpful, and made the whole process feel easy from the moment I came in. My tattoo artist, Will, was amazing. He really listened to what I wanted, helped everything flow with the tattoos I already had, and paid attention to the little details that made the final piece feel cohesive instead of just looking like random additions.
I love how my newest work came together the linework is clean, the shading is beautiful, and the placement makes the whole space-themed section of my arm feel intentional and fun. Will was patient, professional, easy to talk to, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process.“

“JD is a true artist. This was my first tattoo, and I was a little nervous at first. Immediately, I felt safe and comfortable–and trusted his process. He took time to ensure everything looked perfect before he began. Including readjusting some of the design, and perfecting the geometric lines. We even went over an hour because he wanted it to be not just a tattoo, but a work of art. He took my plethora of ideas, and turned into something that I did not even know was possible. “Asami provided a truly fabulous experience for my first tattoos. I've wanted a tattoo for many years, but I found it difficult to conceptualize placing that level of trust in someone. I also knew that I wanted a mermaid, but I couldn't find an exact image of what I envisioned anywhere online. That's what prompted me to reach out to Atelier Eva to see if there was an artist willing to work with me to create an original piece. Asami was one of a list of names provided, and I fell in love with her work immediately. All of her work is marked by a delicacy that I find so special. Atelier Eva was incredibly patient with me as we navigated my hectic schedule to find a date that worked. The atmosphere in the studio itself is incredibly calming, and the music is perfect. I put headphones on before she started, and I never even turned my own music on. It was also practically painless (I would rather get a tattoo every day of my life than ever have to get my eyebrows threaded again). In all honesty, it was very expensive, and I know I could have gone elsewhere and spent less. But I knew I was paying for peace of mind and an original work of art by an artist that I had really grown to admire, which I believe made it more than worth it. I couldn't recommend Asami and Atelier Eva more, and I'm already looking forward to visiting again for my next one.“

“I got a heart dermal done in Houston and the jewelry tarnished and turned bluish black in my face. Another piercer in Trinidad couldn’t remove the jewelry and caused pain and made the site start leaking lymph again :(. After initially telling me that I should wait 6 months to change the jewelry, she changed her mind when she realized it was a heart dermal piercing. I was nervous that she wouldn’t be able to remove it because my previous piercer wasn’t able to but she removed it quickly, cleaned the site, and there was no pain. 10/10, will deff be going back to her for more piercings. Best experience ever !!!!!“

“After searching far and wide for a tattoo artist that shared my passion for medieval etchings, gothic ornamentation, and esoteric symbolism, I finally found Grace and I’m so happy I did! Grace is not only a fantastic and passionate artist, but also quite personable and interesting. I enjoyed our conversations almost as much as my finished piece.
As for the tattoo itself, what stood out for me is her ability to recreate the fine-lined, intricate detail of the original design. A testament to her steady hand and patience. I often find myself closely examining the elaborate linework she was able to pull off.
Also worth noting is my minimal discomfort throughout the process. I hardly registered more than a 6/10 on the pain scale. It could be that the type of needle needed for the tattoo contributed to it not being particularly painful - even though it was on my ribs and took 4 hours - but I like to think it’s also because she has a very gentle touch.

Booked with Matt Adamson - had to book a few months out, which is no problem for such a sick artist. The folks running the place are super helpful, they're very professional, and you are treated well throughout the entire booking process. Zac does a great job making sure clients are helped and comfortable while they're getting tattooed. Matt is a great artist, he's very friendly, and doesnt mind chatting while still focused on giving you a sick tattoo even when you are giving them your life story.

My only regret with this shop is that I should've tipped MORE. Next time.
