I had twice lucked out on a recent Sunday trying to get a haircut for an audition that came up suddenly when I came upon Maksim's in the Park Slope nabe. Easily one of the best haircuts and styling I have ever had in my life! Better even than the time I shelled out 200 bucks for Vidal Sassoon in upper Manhattan for a movie role in Boston.

Got haircuts for both of our kids here and they did such a great job. They were so patient with my son who kept squirming in his seat, and gave my daughter the cutest cut. She was super excited for her first salon shampoo too. Will definitely be back.
