Hands of Gold Chiropractic Acupuncture

“I love the name hands of gold so much for this chiropractic office. Doc Peloquin is so well versed in many different methodologies that I always feel like I’m getting just the right treatment for what ails me. My neck was so tight I didn’t think I’d adjust but he took his time and applied several different techniques to loosen me up before attempting to do it. The adjustment was successful and the wave of relief was huge!!“

“After 3 sessions I can confidently say this is a amazing healing space . Dr. J is a complete professional as is the amazing Sam.

I had suffered a traumatic episode in my life and western medicine and therapy and psychiatry could not figure out what was wrong with me. Through fighting and trying to live a healthy lifestyle I will say I am 90%_95% better from bad shape neurologically . I had some lingering side effects and some of them are already gone with 3 visits. I am more than a fan.

Great space a place where the doctor listens and wonderful aesthetic . Will continue treatment to keep optimal health .“

Greenpoint Acupuncture Acupuncture

“I’ve been dealing with neck pain for over 20 years. After countless doctor visits, X-rays, scans, and appointments, the only real solution I was ever offered was a steroid shot. I had heard about acupuncture before, but no one ever seriously suggested it as an option.

After just two sessions with Nicole, I can honestly say this is the first time in my life I’ve felt real relief and genuine hope that I may actually be able to live pain free one day.

What surprised me even more was realizing just how much tension and stress I had been carrying in my upper back for years without even fully recognizing it. The physical and mental relief after these sessions has been incredible.

Nicole has been thoughtful, professional, and truly caring throughout the process. I’m extremely grateful I found her and genuinely excited to continue treatment. I can’t recommend her enough.“

Acupuncture Williamsburg Acupuncture

“Edward has helped me immensely in my work and daily life through holistic treatments that acknowledge and integrate all aspects of myself—body, emotions, energy, spirit, etc. He is a versatile practitioner with multiple disciplines up his sleeve so I feel I can trust him to meet me where I’m at to discover the treatment I need in the moment. I can’t thank Edward enough for the results I’ve had with my performance anxiety as a professional dancer as well as identifying and releasing some deep seated physical holding patterns I didn’t think any practitioner could tackle.

What’s more, Acupuncture Williamsburg is an impeccably kept sanctuary I am always happy to visit (crystals, white noise, altar, berkey, etc). A serene groundedness is maintained inside amidst and despite the chaos of nyc—a healing oasis that I can confidently recommend :)“

Community Chiropractic & Acupuncture of Park Slope Acupuncture

“I had an overall great experience with Community Chiropractor over the few years I have been going to see them.

I first came to this office in 2019 after experiencing intense shoulder pain for the first time. I was diagnosed with scoliosis after seeing one of the doctors who no longer works there. But once he made the diagnosis was determined to get me to feel better.

Then came the pandemic and a few years pain free until I got a full time job that aggravated my shoulder pain again.

So back I went in for chiropractor help and I thought I’d also try acupuncture this time too for good measure. Miriam who was my acupuncturist was really really great! She was attentive, curious and determined to help me heal.

I recently started seeing Dr. Fred for chiropractic services and as I told my partner I think he is a miracle worker! He really helps me with my adjustments and can sense any little tremor. He even noticed a few times that my foot gets misaligned and after adjusting it would feel better from the pain I had.

Lastly, the front desk staff is phenomenal! They are kind, communicative and patient. Always willing to help with any billing errors that happen or scheduling snafus to arise.

Even though my review above is glowing of most of the staff I have to say I didn’t have a good experience with one doctor unfortunately. She was very nice, but I felt left it to me to figure out what was wrong.

As I said above I came back with the same pain in my shoulder and even said the last time I was at this office I was diagnosed with scoliosis (based off of an Xray btw) and probably should be treating that, but instead I got a few adjustments and told my breasts were probably giving me most of my back pain.

It wasn’t until I insisted on getting an Xray that she told me to immediately go to PT because she saw the scoliosis (that I had been telling her about for months). Anyway, I just hope she can do better at taking her patients seriously about past treatment.“

Sophie Young Acupuncture Acupuncture

“Sophie is fantastic. I had never done acupuncture prior to 2021, and I initially went to her to address a never-before-experienced bout of insomnia (I had been awake for 6 or 7 days and nothing I did worked. The first time I had acupuncture with Sophie, later that night, I slept 6 hours. I have seen her ever since.)

She has also reduced chronic TMJ pain and supported general stress management.

While I was in physical therapy for a torn meniscus (and later, recovering from surgery post-op), acupuncture with her was a key component of my pain management practice.

She is very knowledgeable, kind, and her space is comfortable and convenient. I have seen her on and off for over 5 years and I've referred 2 friends and my husband, all of whom now also see her regularly.“
