4202 Avenue U, Brooklyn“It's the cleanliness, motivation, professionalism and positive energy for me. I thank the Sense's for understanding that everyone is not training to work for SWAT or the Marines, but the beginner classes still push me closer to where I want to be. I always leave feeling better. It doesn't hurt that the house/club music in the background be fire and I'm learning how to get home safe by any means necessary!!!“

“There is something very unique and special about this school.I've been teaching at happykicks (another martial arts school) not far from MAUSA for over thirty years. I stopped in because I've herd so many amazing things about the grandmaster who is well into his late 70s, yet he personally teaches all of the children in his school. Grandmaster Bill McCloud has the most extensive martial arts backgrounds than any other teacher in America. I was so impressed at the depth at which he was teaching his students. I've been fortunate enough to have been able to witness a few of his classes. I realized that even the parents looking on had no idea of the incredible blessings their children were receiving or how greatly it will benefit them far into their adult life. Having trained in the martial arts for over 45 years, I've seen the difference between children that are given an authentic martial arts education and those that don't. The children at MAUSA will do well in life because of this amazing grandmaster and his assistant instructor Shoko Haramura. She loves the children as much as the grandmaster and is an incredible asset to MAUSA. She also teaches two adult class Tuesday and Thursdays, and also provides private training in an impressive array of martial arts skills such as self defense, flexibility training, Tai Chi, meditation, and special weapons training such as cane, umbrellas, staffs, daggers and sword. She also has a special talent for working with the elderly. I even thinking of purchasing a package of private lessons with Instructor Shoko for my mother who's in her 80s.“
“Best karate ever, learning karate here lets you learn karate in a fun way! Cone here if you ever get the chance to!“
