2560 Coney Island Ave, Brooklyn“I have taken 2 cats' there. When my 1st was sick and eventually had to be put down, Dr. Max and the staff were wonderful. Helping me figure out what was wrong and explaining things to me as far as maybe putting her down. They took my second cat no problem and were just as great with treating her. She has anxiety and a heart murmur and again Dr. Max was wonderful with her. When I was getting ready to move out of the state I asked a lot of questions about how to travel with her, medication, etc... They are a wonderful place and I recommend anyone take their pets there.

Veterinary Center, 639 4th Ave, Brooklyn“We love PSVC. They took such incredible care of our beloved dog.
After 16 years of an amazing life, we had to put our dog down. PSVC made us (including our two kids) feel so comfortable, didn’t rush us, and the vet and techs really were just the kindest, sweetest people. We’re eternally grateful to them. Thanks so much for honoring Smokey’s life with us. ?“

224 Prospect Park W, Brooklyn“Dr Ryan was great--loving, detailed and attention to everything, but in no way over cautious, which I find unkind to animals. (early/ often surgeries/ treatments for animals can cause more suffering instead of easing illness/ disease) Everyone was warm, answered all my questions, showed me all the details and records, and gave me a 360-degree view of my cat's health. Awesome.“

169 Central Ave, Brooklyn“I genuinely owe Dr. Loose so much! I adopted a senior pup and would go out from Manhattan to Bushwick for her to see him. Dr. Loose has always advocated for the best care possible at a reasonable price. She cares so much about our pets and puts so much thought into making visits comfortable and positive for pets. You can see that in all the details of the new clinic. My pup has now passed and Dr. Loose was so kind when I let her know. If my cat didn't hate the subway so much, I would take him all the way to Bushwick too! I would recommend Dr. Loose a thousand times over. You really could not find a better vet and person to trust with your pet's care.“

1951 Bath Ave, Brooklyn“They took in my new adopted cat last minute after noticing he kept vomiting every day. Checking in was very easy with simple paperwork. The didn’t take long to see my cat and the vet took her time figuring out the issue by asking many questions. After the examination, she gave me affordable options before doing expensive treatments. After choosing the affordable option, it didn’t take very long to receive the prescribed food. Now it’s been a couple of months since the visit. My cat is now in a much healthier weight and no longer vomits every day. I am very pleased with my experience.
Other things to be aware of: it is a very busy clinic. The front desk lady is handling calls, check ins, and payments at the same time.“

Our Labrador, Tobie, has needed urgent care multiple times in the last few months, and HOBK has not only accommodated us but provided excellent, empathetic care. They're also super responsive. Grateful to have them!“

1610 Ave Y, Brooklyn“My dog was sick with alot of nausea for several days. I had went to another vet ER initially but he gets very anxious when at the vets office, so it gets very difficult to examine him so from there I was sent home with cough medicine, antibiotics, and anxiety meds. After a few days my dog had the same symptoms so I decided to take him to VETCO. Even though he was on anxiety meds; he still was very anxious but they were very helpful, gave good recommendations, explained the after visit summary and gave him meds for nausea. Ever since he hasn’t showed symptoms. This location is very clean, quiet, friendly staff and affordable prices. THANKS YALL <3“

25 Jay St, Brooklyn“This is the best Vet I have ever been to. I’m extremely fussy and have struggled to find a caring, compassionate veterinarian in New York City that actually knows what is happening with my dog and takes the best care of her as i would.
I am so grateful to have found heal veterinarians. The actual vet clinic is absolutely spotless and beautiful and everyone from the Front Desk to the Vet to the nurse was beyond helpful in understanding my puppies condition.
The doctor was the most knowledgeable doctor I have come across in New York City and she very carefully explained everything to me that was happening with my dog. She recommended many different options without pushing them on me and helped me understand the implications of each choice. The nurse was also absolutely amazing and cared for my dog as if it was her own. She is a complete superstar (thank you Yelena!)
I really don’t have enough words to thank heal Vet. If I had continued to go to the existing vet, the condition that my dog has would not have been picked up, which could have been life-threatening.
Thank you heal Vet. I love you!!!“

319 3rd Ave, Brooklyn“In a see of corporate vet chains, Brooklyn roots is an island of high quality pet care. We took our male cat to Brooklyn roots for a check up and second opinion. The team was welcoming, professional and didn’t try to upsell us on a million treatments or prescriptions like others do. They were on point and spent ample time walking us through the options. Our cat underwent dental surgery there and we couldn’t be happier. He’s doing so well now and the prices are realistic not overblown like other clinics. The staff is super responsive and I got all the invoicing and paperwork shortly after the procedure. We found our new neighborhood vet. Can only recommend.“

They really care and help explain what’s going on…and they’re flexible with courses of action to help me not spend too much. Will always fit me in asap…honestly I’m a little nervous reviewing them because I want to keep it secret. Thanks so much yall.“
