I had my gel taken off my nails and had just a plain manicure. The lady did a decent job. I chose a higher priced pedicure for the scrubs and hot stone message. The lady was very nice and professional. My only complaint is she did not get the dead skin from under my toes or check for ingrown nails. The parking is limited. The place needs a good dusting too. They had cobwebs from the ceilings.

Beautiful salon with great service! Came in for a gel mani and regular pedi and had a lovely relaxing experience here. The space is bright, all areas were super clean, and the massage chairs are so comfy. My service was excellent and all the ladies working were lovely to interact with. I started coming here recently for festive holiday nails. I have been obsessed with all my nail looks and Kevin is extremely talented with nail art has been so helpful and understanding as I learn about GelX (I’m a newbie to it). Everyone here is also very welcoming and nice. I really enjoy coming in.

I have 3B/3C/4a curls, and for years I felt like most salons didn’t really understand how to work with them. Either my curls would get blown out, weighed down, or completely lost in the process. Amazing service with daisy!!! I just moved to San Diego looking for a new salon when I stopped into portal, I got an appointment with daisy. I haven’t got my hair done in a while(I had a lot of concerns and issues) daisy knew exactly my vision. We did a Bob haircut for me and color which turned out incredible. I’ve never been happier. I highly recommend going to her if meeting somebody to trust with your hair inspiration and vision.

I recently moved to downtown SD and spent MONTHS researching and reviewing hair people (including asking everyone I ran into). It's almost funny how much time I spent researching it, because I didn't research a new eye doctor this hard!! Brianna (Bri) was fantastic from the start - we texted a number of times before my appointment. Part of it was for my comfort level, but also I wanted to make sure that she was prepared for what she was getting into. :) I'd been blue for 8-9 years and was ready to make the change to purple, but wasn't quite comfortable enough to have her use bleach or a color stripper just yet. She was kind and helpful and I was pleased she also uses the same product that my old gal used! My visit was excellent. The salon is clean and very pretty, and well lit. The hair is all mine (also part of my concern when initially contacting her because the website almost made me think she only does extensions), it's long and fine. Adding insult to injury, I was getting over a cold when I went to visit her. She handled me and my hair like a champ. She was friendly and talkative when I felt like it (which I really didn't, as talking made me cough). She asked questions about what hairbrush I used, questions about what my old gal did, and was great about listening and asking follow up questions. I haven't had a chance to wash it for the first time, yet, but it's a product that I'm familiar with so I'm not worried about caring for it. I will return, and next time I'll be comfortable enough to ask her to bleach my roots. I highly suggest Bri and the Green+Anchor Salon!

Haydee and her team were amazing and exceeded all our expectations for my wedding day. From the start she was very professional and genuinely interested in understanding my vision. On wedding day she made sure I stayed calm with all the nerves unfolding. They arrived on time, set up everything quickly and made sure it was all organized so we can relax and enjoy the morning. I received so many compliments throughout the night on my hair and make up. Doing an up so was out of my comfort zone for my wedding day, but I trusted Haydee and she went above and beyond. She delivered my vision perfectly. My hair and makeup lasted all night long even through all the happy tears. :) If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I love Haydee !!!!!

Great friends, great barbers! They were the first barbershop I went to after moving to OB six years ago. I’ve never thought about going anywhere else because no barbershop I’ve been to compares. I’ve had my hair cut by everyone there, and they’re all amazing at their craft.

Jared is beast and his attention to detail and 100% laid back style is exactly what I need when getting the freshest of fades. The whole crew in there is great and I was watching the other barbers and they all have great skills/technique as well. This is my go-to in SD and you definitely want to drop in and give them a try. Arguably the dopest member of the crew is Blaze, the rastafarian doggo who will welcome you in and keep you guessing with his capers.

Went in Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Visiting from the Bay for a wedding and my man needed a clean up! Called and they were easy going and available for walk-in! The spot had ample seating (couches and plenty of chairs). Music was fun and the staff was friendly and even offered refreshments to both of us. Just from observation, every barber is meticulous about their work and thoroughly clean their tools and space. Highly recommend this spot, A+ customer service and experience.

Went here for the first time and booked with Christina. Service was amazing from all of the staff. They had an issue with their booking system so I did have a short wait at the beginning but did not mind at all. In terms of the acrylics I got I can honestly say these might be the most perfect set of nails I’ve had in years. I will definitely be going back!

Yesterday I visited for a pedicure and she was gentle, meticulous, and worked a miracle on my feet that had been neglected (I’m a runner and cyclist and my feet need help!). She was incredibly kind, professional, and efficient. 10/10 would recommend! I will be going back to her!

The gel manicure service at Polo Nails is really impressive-the paint is even in color, lasting for more than three weeks, helping me confidently show off my nails despite my busy work schedule every day.
I am not sure why this place has so few reviews. It is a hidden gem. It is clean and well maintained with plenty of parking in an adjacent lot. I came here for a gel manicure. Rose did a great job. She helped me pick a color that was compatible with the rules I have to follow for work. The mani lasted long after the polish started to grow out. They do their manis in the pedicure chairs so it was extra relaxing. I really needed a back massage.
They also have full salon services by appointment. I love my hair cut. Vann listened to what I wanted to did a great job with my hair. I have long hair and coarse hair. He did a great job preserving the length while adding in layers and framing my face. I will 100% come back to his location for nail and hair services.

This place is so underrated. I LOVE this gem of a nail salon. Prices are soooo reasonable. The staff are phenomenal and friendly. I had my eyeliner done by Thao and although she was very patient with how I wanted my eyeliner, I felt a little rushed. She even let me draw how I’d like my PMU, however, after the PMU session, she still missed an area I suggest needed adjustment and one eye is still a little off but the great thing about her is that she offers free touch up session!! Through the whole session I felt no pain and she still reapplied numbing medication. Now I am just eagerly waiting for healing and my touch up.

I have been to several curly hair specialists even in LA and I haven't been satisfied with any of their services. However, I found Brianna a couples weeks ago and she has been the best! She is super helpful, sweet, honest, and very professional. I was very impressed with her style of cutting and all of her helpful tips and guidance. You can also reach out to her with any questions at any time and she responds as soon as she can. I love her vibe and her hair studio is so adorable. I was extremely happy with the outcome of how beautiful my hair turned out. I am definitely coming back and she is now my new curly hair specialist. I even booked my future appointment with her before I left. I recommend you book your appointment online ahead of time. As for parking there are some located outside. Don't hesitate to contact her and book as soon as you can before she runs out of spots! Finding a curly hair specialist can be difficult and I finally found the best!

I have suffered from cystic acne since I was 16 years old. Up until last year (2024), I had tried every topical, I had gotten chemical peels, and basically exhausted my resources. Every doctor or family member I confided in kept pointing me toward acutane. I personally, was determined to do anything other than acutane because after undergoing naturopathic blood and gut testing, I realized that this treatment was another form of a bandaid for my symptoms, not a cure. I came to Elizabeth and told her I was getting married in 6 months. My goal was to look my best without Accutane. I learned through Elizabeth that DMK facial treatment is science based and prescribed to each client based on their skin’s needs.
Elizabeth not only treated my skin, but educated me on how every product was treating my skin. We talked about hydration, microbiome balance, hyperpigmentation, pH balance, and more. I am a sucker for science and love knowing how everything is working. Because of Elizabeth’s educating and care, I was able to leave every appointment and continue protecting and curing my skin one day at a time. I followed my regimen very strictly and also kept in touch with my naturopath - also recommended by Elizabeth.
By the time my wedding came around I was blown away with the results. At 27 years old I could not remember the last time my skin ever looked so clear, smooth and refreshed. Luxe Bloom truly provides luxury facials in a cozy & serene atmosphere. Shantal is very friendly, super attentive to your skins needs and makes sure you feel relaxed and pampered the whole way through. My skin always feels amazing, clean and moisturized whenever I leave my appointments. She also provides a monthly facial subscription that I personally love because it requires me to remember to take care of my skin every month, or else I’d neglect it. I've had relatively unproblematic skincare issues up until last year, when I started breaking out repeatedly and all over my neck out of (seemingly) nowhere. It was Adriana who asked all the questions I didn't think to ask myself to finally realize it was a new medication I had started (I confirmed with my Dr - breaking out was a side effect that wasn't shared with me). Not only did she help me figure out that mystery, but she's really helped with the post-acne healing in the last few months fading the resulting hyperpigmentation with the treatments she's given me and her suggested at-home skincare plan.

I have been to extraordinary beauty twice so far for the signature Hydrafacial and it is worth every penny! My skin is flawless after and the amount of compliments I get on my skin after a treatment is unbelievable. The Hydrafacial really sucks out all the junk trapped in my pores and I am obsessed. Unfortunately, my hair didn’t hold up as long as I hoped and started falling after the first hour, but I think the weather played a big role in that. Thankfully, we did a makeup trial beforehand, which made it so much easier to finalize the look I wanted for the big day.

This place was truly amazing, I went in with a couple of my girlfriends. We all decided to get tattoos. I’ve always wanted the Prince symbol, and so I have it on my left leg. And then I love this place so much I went back two days later and got another tattoo on the another leg. The guys couldn’t have been nicer made me feel so comfortable. And they even had a big mama table for me to lay on. I’m always afraid I’m going to break a table. Of course I haven’t yet but they had one just for me anyways.
Another excellent service call from Sieg. Easily replaced a wall mounted tub faucet without breaking any tile, and diagnosed/fixed a very tricky problem with a tub faucet. All for a very reasonable price. Thank you!

Stefan came over immediately to give me a quote. I was in a bind as I was without water for a day and a half as I had a leak from my water main to my house. Stefan got me a quote for a reasonable price to reroute my piping with copper piping from the main into the house going through the garage. He came the next day and he and Stefan Jr. And Simon completed the job in 5 hours. That included trenching for the new pipe and all of the work in the garage. I was delighted with the result. Very professional. And the cleanup was outstanding.

We were hosting an event at my home on an over the weekend and right in the middle of it we realize our main line backed up which caused both our restrooms to become out of order. We were referred to HPS plumbing from a friend and their referral paid off big time. Worried we’d go hours before being able to use the restroom, within 45 minutes of reaching out to HPS, our plumber Daniel swiftly arrived to fix the issue. We were back in order and didn’t have to inconvenience our guests any longer. He was reliable, had a great attitude and we appreciated the affordable rate. We will be highly recommending the HPS team to friends and family.

Boy oh boy! I don't know what to tell you, but if you're looking for a quality electrical company, these people are the bomb. We recently decided to put in Solar and then found out that based on our needs and the size of the solar system we wanted that are 40+ year old electrical panel would not do the job. We needed to upgrade the panel and because of new regulations in San Diego county it also had to be moved to a new location. Underground necessitated from the street to my house. All in all complex that could've been a whole lot more expensive. The crew at United was absolutely amazing to deal with honestly when they finish the work you couldn't tell that it hadn't always been that way. The panel provided a lot of other benefits as well. My circuit breakers don't flip anymore and I'm powering my house with Solar. Even during power outages. Definitely add them to your bid list for a big job. I think you'll be really pleased with the results.
James is the real deal; he knows everything about electrical work and how to do it the safe and correct way. He not only does a great job, but also explains why something needs to be done a certain way. We've had James out for numerous projects, from more complex of installing a Rapid Charge EV system to Smart Home ceiling fans, to simply replacing LED lighting and smart switches. I highly recommend James for anything electrical, knowing you can trust the work he does with a reasonable cost.

I contacted Frank’s Electricians regarding an electrical issue, and I was genuinely impressed with the level of service. Frank came out the same day, quickly diagnosed the problem, and not only fixed it efficiently but also completed the hookup for our whole house fan. His work was clean, professional, and done at a very fair price. It’s hard to find dependable tradespeople these days, but Frank exceeded expectations. I’d absolutely call him again and confidently recommend him to others.
Greg from HG Electric came by and diagnosed my issue of a broken breaker caused by high voltage tesla charger. He fixed the breaker and was very informative on explaining everything. This is my second time that Cesar came to my home as I had to two electrical outlets to be installed and a dimmer that needed to be fixed. Not only did Cesar charged me very reasonable but he went out of his way to fix our electrical outlet by our stairs and also replaced the dimmer both at no charge. I might add Cesar was punctual, his fees are reasonable and has very good communication skills. He's professional and knows his trade very well. I would recommend him for any electrical repairs or installations.

I needed to replace a broken key for my motorcycle side cases. They didn't have the exact key blank for my exotic Italian cases but they were able to adapt another blank to make me a new key that works great. (It's kinduv funny that they ended up using a Harley blank for side cases on my electric moto, hah...) We had an excellent experience with California Flooring Design (CFD), they are great. It was extremely refreshing to meet and become educated in flooring details with Tom, our CFD sales person who knows more, by far, than any other sales person we had spoken with before meeting him. The installation crew and Ray (CFD owner) worked very closely with us to resolve one or two issues that appeared during the demolition phase of the project. Ray was extremely responsive and motivated to make sure our project came out perfectly and to ensure we had a great customer experience. As a result, we now have absolutely stunning red oak flooring installed throughout our house that has made a huge difference in the way it looks and feels. I highly recommend California Flooring Design.

We just finished our bathroom remodel and honestly, it feels like we’re walking into a luxury hotel every time we step inside. The marble, gold accents, and Kohler fixtures are absolutely gorgeous and give the space such an elevated, timeless feel.
Eddie was our foreman and was extremely attentive and pleasant to work with. Same goes for the entire crew who worked so hard, showing up on time Monday through Saturday, and their attention to detail really shows in the finished result. They will never move onto the next step before consulting with me on placement and how I liked it. I was extremely happy that I did not need to micro-manage since I know that I am very particular and attentive to design and details. You can tell they take pride in their work. From the start, Dor never pressured us into signing any contracts right away, adding things that didn’t make sense, nor did he ever make us feel like we were wasting his time. Prior to getting a quote from Lusso, another company gave a whole spiel about them losing money every time they went out to quote a potential client. Then they said that if they left our house without us signing a contract then we wouldn’t get any discount. Not only did it make us feel really uncomfortable and horrible but their prices were ridiculous compared to Lusso. No matter what time of day it was, Dor & Avi responded right away. They are great communicators and made the whole process smooth and stress-free, always checking in without ever pressuring us into anything. We felt comfortable the entire way through, and that meant so much.
The only regret that I had was not doing this sooner since I’m pregnant in my 3rd trimester. We’re beyond happy that they finished so quick with 2 months to spare before our baby comes so that we can truly enjoy our dual shower. We took our time to get 6 quotes for our roof replacement and new skylight installation. We were looking for a company that would install our chosen product Owens Corning Duration Cool, their estimate needed to be fair, and most importantly, their project manager needed to be easy to work with. After meeting with Alex from Forever Builders a few times (and screened his ratings on Yelp, oh yes we sure did), who seemed to meet all of the above checkpoints, we took a chance with him and Forever Builders. Our instinct was right on - Alex is the best project manager you could ask for.

For our bathroom project, we needed an older Jacuzzi tub/shower replaced with a big walk-in shower, to match the existing counters, flooring and cabinetry which had been remodeled a couple of years prior. I was especially impressed with the magnificent tiling job performed by MBK's Jaime Velasco, in response to our request. Not only was all of the wall design beautifully tiled, he fashioned special shelving, niches, and a bench, using wonderful craftmanship. In addition, the project was especially well-managed by Mike Moore, who was there every single day ensuring progress and coordination among the various subs. He was tireless and accommodating for the entire span of the construction, never losing his patience and good humor, as well as providing fine-tuning in several cases for finish carpentry, electrical oversight, and --especially--keeping the existing cabinetry, etc., as well as the rest of our house free of dust. Kudos to both of these men, and thank you, MBK!
Tal, Avi and crew did a great job remodeling our bathroom! We started with a non-functional claw-foot tub and ended up with a modern tub/shower combo that we absolutely love. Tal and Avi were very responsive and listened to what we wanted and even constructed a linen closet that wasn't there before. Their crew worked hard and efficiently, and cleaned up afterwards.

Cleaning your trees is like a good fall or spring house cleaning. The elm was stretched up and out to the surrounding walls. The jacaranda was years overdue. We had some hedges that had outgrown their original stakes and were leaning after some wind we had a few weeks ago.
I hired Gilberto to source, install, and tie off my hedges to some 3” diameter wooden stakes. About a dozen hedges just outside my fence.
Gilberto was responsive and fair on the price. He came out about 2 days after we agreed on the costs and he finished the job in an afternoon.
I am very happy with the work he did and my hedges are nice and straight again! I really appreciate his help with the job and will use him again for any landscape work I need done around the house.

We hired Jeff Cleator, President of Cleator Landscape Design to create a beautiful and clean design concept for new landscaping that would be sustainable and cohesive with the Mission Hills environment. Jeff always responded quickly to our questions, sent a detailed rendering of his design, along with photos of all the plants he recommended. Jeff came on site on occasion to check on the irrigation layout and progress, and placement of the lighting. In the past, it would not have occurred to us to hire a landscape designer, but now that the project is finished, we realize how lucky we were to have found and hired Jeff. Davey has been my go to for tree planting and care since 2016. My loyalty has paid off dividends with large healthy trees providing years of beauty, shade and privacy for my property. For almost 15 years Clint and his crew have pruned, shaped, and kept healthy a 50+ year old Canary Island pine tree. The care and respect San Diego Tree Care shows for trees and plants as well as people (client & neighbors) is reliably and outstandingly consistent, and thoughtful. Every interaction from scheduling with Jaqui, to Clint's estimate visit, followed by the tree work and clean-up (kudos to John, Sam, & Oscar, plus Clint himself!) has been excellent.

Normally, I am terrified of dentists. I've had more than my share of shotty work, unnecessary procedures, unfair billing, disgraceful bedside manners, etc. Those dentists are everywhere, making it very difficult to find a good one. We'll, look no further!! I have been seeing Dr. Amin at Lighthouse Dental for about 4 years, and I literally couldn't be happier. Dr. Amin takes time with his patients. He really listens when you express concerns, ask questions, or even just take a minute to chat with him. He is kind, thoughtful, funny and most importantly - he is SO GREAT AT HIS JOB. He is so skilled in his field, and he has all of the best tools which make even complicated procedures go so much faster and more smoothly than they otherwise could. This week, I had 3 crowns replaced in one visit! It was amazing!! I just relaxed under a cozy blanket with some headphones, and before I knew it, everything was done. Brilliant!!!! And Dr. Amin's staff is just as great as he is. They are kind, thoughtful, friendly, and soooo good at their jobs! It may sound silly, but this entire office is like a family. That's the way you feel when you're there. I used to hate the dentist, but since I found Dr. Amin and his staff at Lighthouse Dental, I can lovingly say, "I got 99 problems, but the dentist ain't one." ?

Dr. Epstein is awesome. I’ve been seeing him every couple of weeks for over a year now he not only does all the right adjustments to get your body back in alignment, he also gives you tailored exercise exercises so that you can continue to work on your ownbody while at home. I used to throw my neck out every couple of months and go see a chiropractor reactively since I’ve been seeing Dr. Epstein, I haven’t thrown my neck out at all because I’ve been treating preventatively.

I have been living, often painfully, with eczema for the past 20 years. During the most painful flare ups, I have seen numerous doctors, been prescribed a plethora of topicals, and often leave my appointments feeling discouraged and continuously itchy. My most recent flare up was intense and incredibly painful and after five days of trying to live through it, MedDerm was able to squeeze me in for an appointment with DNP Jay Blake... and I cannot be more grateful!! Not only does Jay have a genuine, professional, and sweet demeanor, he provided the utmost quality care by making me feel comfortable/not embarrassed in my uncomfortable/itchy body. He also detailed options on what we can do moving forward and how we can work towards a future with less pain! His nurse, Jasmine, and Louisa at the front desk were the cherries on top of the BEST experience I've ever had at a dermatologist. Mahalo nui to Jay, Jasmine, Louisa, and the entire MedDerm team... truly, you have lifted my spirits and for the first time, have made me feel like there's hope in my insane eczema journey! Tip: Parking is only $1 for every 15 min for the first two hours in the underground parking garage... I was in and out under an hour and paid $3... worth every penny!

Mr Kojima is an extremely rare medical professional. An absolute master of his Dermatology craft AND a deeply caring, emphatetic and selfless human being. I've trusted him with my life and health from his early days with Sharp in the Miramar area, until now. You will not find a better provider in San Diego! It is mind boggling that people question integrity of these reviews.... also, Mr Kojima's academic title plays zero role in his Dermatology expertise. Absolute nonsense to question his credentials like that.
UPDATE NOV 2024 - I had my twice a year check up with Juan Kojima, where once again did his magic, detected a small but ominous looking abnormality, removed and sent to the lab. The lab confirmed his suspicion BUT also confirmed it was superficial, did not spread. It was caught and removed early. Mr Kojima followed up per protocol and did a subsequent excision, saving one more patient. This is what he does on a daily basis, all in a confident and reassuring way. My PSA is this - schedule your exam and screening with Mr Kojima and that might just save your life. Simple and no exaggeration.
Dina Massry has been my dermatologist for over 25 years and has been excellent. She gives more periodic exams and has taken off dozens of keratoses and skin cancers. Warm, competent and efficient would be my description.
Dr. K. De La Rosa is the best dermatologist. It was my first time meeting her, and she took out the cyst on my upper eyelid. She did a great job and made me feel comfortable.
Dr. Wu is incredibly skilled at his craft, he has a gentle bedside manner and sweet personality. I feel safe in his hands with all the modern technology available at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology. I realize that “med spas” are very popular these days, because they offer similar services at a lower price. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with anyone but a doctor touching my body or face with high powered lasers. As they say, you get what you pay for! The team at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology are passionate about what they do and what they offer to the community. I especially like Dr. Wu’s nurse, Emily. She’s always so fun to talk to and makes my experience even better! You have a lifelong customer :)

We moved from Washington state and I always look at reviews before I actually pick places or like anytime honestly and this place had no bad reviews compared than some annoying person talking about like a phone answering person like a receptionist based off of like some like scheduling issue so I wasn’t gonna base that off of my perspective so I looked at every single review. I swear to God and I chose this vet specifically off of all the reviews and I’m so glad because he’s amazing. He’s very smart and knowledgeable and, I feel that my dog is safe in his hands and I highly recommend him. I have a French bulldog and he’s been in there for surgery and he’s gonna be in there for an ultrasound and I feel very safe and comfortable with this doctor so if that’s what you’re looking for you should definitely schedule with him because I did a lot of research and this is who I thought was very safe and knowledgeable for my dog and I have a French bulldog I feel very comfortable with my dog going under knowing that there’s a slight chance they may not wake up because they breathing problems I know this vet cares so much he’s great

My 14-year-old Chihuahua Miniature Pinscher, Pawparazzi, has struggled with severe skin issues since June (hair loss, flaky skin, bacterial infection). Communication outside of visits is excellent. We receive appointment reminders, & Dr. Caitie follows up with detailed care plans & cost estimates. After our first visit, I even received a check-in email about Paw’s progress, with encouragement to reach out anytime before his next appointment.
As someone who’s been worried about their pet for months, the relief we’ve felt since switching to CoastView is immense. We’re thankful to have found a place where Paw is truly in good hands & on a hopeful path toward recovery. When your pet faces complex issues, it’s frustrating & heartbreaking to feel helpless. I can’t recommend a vet more highly than Dr. D. She and her entire staff are amazing. They have taken the best care of my “senior” Boxer since he was 4 months old. Always caring, always going above and beyond to resolve all of his issues, which have been many over the years—GI problems, cancer tumors, corneal ulcers, gum hyperplasia--you name it! Each time, she has discussed the options/outcomes with me and together we have agreed upon a treatment plan to maximize his quality of life. I wouldn’t trust my dog to anyone else.
Absolutely the best animal hospital in San Diego county. Amazing, tentative staffing. Dr. Morizi is a caring, gentle & extremely experienced in his field. With over 20 yrs + experience. I have been taking my fur babies to him for many years! Eventhough I know live an hour north of SD I take my babies to him! Very honest man!
We love ABC Veterinary Hospital in PB and they take such good care of our little furbaby. We've had bad experiences with other places but have finally found 'our vet' in SD.

I had a great experience at Del Norte Animal Hospital. I called on a Sunday and they were able to see me right away. My pup is feeling so much better and I am so grateful that the whole process went smoothly and I didn’t have to wait too long in the lobby to be seen. Wow! This is the most professional and amazing groomer we have ever been to. After a lifetime of going to the groomer every two weeks our 15 year old Malshi suddenly decided she does not tolerate groomers anymore. She is going deaf and blind and is just having a hard time, so long story short we have been trying to find a new groomer that could cater to her spicy senior demeanor. We saw a video of Logan the groomer grooming a spicy dog on social media and immediately made an appointment same day. To say we were relieved and impressed would be an understatement. Beginning to end, booking to pick up the experience was 100/10. The staff is so kind and patient. They took the time to go over our senior's quirks before the appointment and by some miracle were able to groom her completely. They did a wonderful job and she didn't seem stressed at all upon pick-up. Will be back and highly recommend for senior dogs needing special care.

My dog, Roxy, is a senior dog and usually gets nervous at traditional grooming salons, but having the groomer come to our home made such a difference. She was calm throughout the entire process, thanks to the groomer’s gentle approach and care.
The trailer was clean and well-equipped, and I loved being able to watch from the iPad to ensure Roxy was comfortable.

I had such a good experience here! My dog Tuna has a double coat, and unfortunately we've had our fair share of experiences where groomers shave her when I ask them not to. Jamie was extremely kind and asked lots of questions, she even texted me to make sure the length was okay while she was grooming! 10/10 experience, will definitely bring Tuna back. I will note that the parking lot is a little tight, but there is street parking if the lot is full!

I’ve brought both my dogs to Angel. The first experience was with my Coco who is considered a reactive dog so I was nervous about her behavior. After five minutes into our first meet not only did Angel calm me down he calm Coco down in such a compassionate way. I left crying tears of joy knowing my dog was safe and finally got her spa treatment. Take your furbabies to Angel you won’t regret it.

My babies were taken care of so well, I really love the one on one grooming they received. They got a nice bath, ears cleaned, paws scrubbed, cologne for him and perfume for her along with other services done. They smelled so good after and every service was done perfectly. I found my new grooming spot and my babies were so happy to be there. A very big plus for me was pictures and updates so my worry free self could be at peace while I was away from them. Modo Yoga is the best studio in San Diego!! The hot room is huge, gorgeous and clean. The instructors are welcoming, encouraging and just brilliant with their guidance during the classes. If you are looking for a hot yoga studio, I can promise you, this is the studio where you will feel comfort the second you walk in.

Iyengar yoga is a traditional yoga gifted to the world from a guru who spent his life sharing it. Carolyn Belko and her well trained staff embody the teachings. I have travelled many places and studied with many Iyengar teachers. Carolyn ranks among the best. She is firm yet compassionate. I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Guruji but, as I humbly understand, he was too. If you haven’t studied Iyengar yoga start with an introduction as it is unlike any other form of yoga and will require a progression. Then you can see if it resonates with you. If so, may the fruit of the study bless you as it has me. Namaste ?

I absolutely love Honey yoga. I've been intimidated by yoga studios in the past but in December I took the leap with Honey and it's been such an amazing experience. Their instructors and staff are so lovely. I've attended HIIT, slow, flow, Hi-Lo and restore each class has helped me relax and become present. Yes, even HIIT - it's beginner friendly and the instructors are so encouraging.
Sunny was warm friendly and a wonderful Iyengar yoga teacher. She gave great suggestions and adjustments in a homey studio.
It was my first time with the instructor Sue Ann and only my second time at this studio because I don't live in SD, but already I can't wait to return. There is something very satisfying about taking a class that is both familiar (Iyengar) but also challenging, when you are taught new poses. It was restorative but not "nap time" for adults. We also we used the rope wall, my favorite, and lots of props. Tip: get there early, parking can be difficult.
I have absolute faith in Yoga Jai Ma and their teachers. I’ve been fortunate to get to take several different styles of yoga offered by many different teachers at Yoga Jai Ma and the experience is always positive. I always leave feeling better than when I showed up.

This is one of the best private studios and instructors in town! Daniella is just incredible at what she does. One can tell she has studied Pilates, the human body, and movement extensively. She caters each session to your specific needs and requests. You will always walk out of the session feeling stronger and with improved posture. I highly recommend taking sessions with her.
I've taken private pilates lessons with Jessica for nearly a year while rehabbing from sciatica and back surgery. She is amazing. Extremely knowledgeable about pilates, she adjusts positions for my particular problems, finds ways to push me, celebrates my progress, and cares about me as a whole. She even got me to start swimming, which really aided my recovery. Finally, Jessica is very funny AND a really kind person. It's easy to develop trust and rapport with her, which I think is important for anyone learning and growing in pilates. And did I mention her rates are ridiculously low for private pilates?? Yes, you need to try her!
First time I tried Pilates. Great instructor. Made it fun. Cannot wait to go back and do it again. Such an interesting combination of equipment and movement. My spine is fused in multiple places and I feel like this is something I will be able to do and enjoy, now and in the future.
Two classes with Andrew today and I’m glowing! ?✨ I sweated, I laughed, I had a blast. Andrew is hands down the best way to start or end your day ~ his positive energy is contagious and I always leave stronger, happier, and so proud of myself.
Looking back, I’m beyond grateful I started this journey months ago. Working out has finally become a habit that stuck, and it’s all thanks to Andrew. Somehow, he makes me want to show up, push myself, and become the best version of me.

There are a great variety of instructors to choose from and they all have their own unique way of tailoring each class to your individual level and body needs. The access to the parking garage is also a plus. Highly recommend!

Just started my Pilates journey, I was really nervous about it for no reason.I took a free 30 min class before signing up and Sahar won me over. By far my favorite instructor here. I'm only 3 classes in but really enjoying it. I went with the unlimited pass so I could take as many classes as I want a month. Since it's lighter strain I wanted to be able to do more.When you start you have to stick to level 1 or 1.5 when you get more acclimated. Since it's a small studio classes fill up fast. The app is really easy to use though. I book all my classes a week or two in advance. Since level 1 gets filled up and since I work it's hard to take the mid day classes. Even if you are new to Pilates the instructors are very friendly and accommodating to meet your fitness level. They will show you how to work the machines and the right positions. New lingo to learn but you'll catch on after a class or two.So far booking ahead has worked for me. Each instructor is different so you'll never experience the same class twice. We use a variety of different weights and tools along with the reformer to build our strength. I was sore after my first class! Just a heads up I do recommend taking the free crash course if you have never done Pilates before then sign up. You are locked in for the first 3 months and then you can cancel anytime after that. And there is fee for last minute cancellations.
Absolutely amazing place to learn Pilates. The instructors are extremely experienced, knowledgeable, attentive, and very welcoming towards new students. The space is peaceful and clean. Our posture and strength has visibly increased after just a couple months.We are so glad that we gave this place a try before giving up on Pilates thinking it's not something for us (based on our experience elsewhere).

There is something about it that I just love!! Sophie and Ella are always so sweet and greet me with a big smile! And Dippy's Class is fabulous!! Tranquility and peacefulness... This was my first time visiting Forest House SPA, but it would not be my last. The management was warm and welcoming, the staff was very sweet and kind, and a deep tissue massage was beyond belief. The facility is beautiful, and decorated in a way that promotes happiness and relaxation. Sophie was my message, and when I go back I will request her by name.

My daughter and I came while on vacation. As I searched for a reputable massage, I found Bliss and I’m so glad I did. It is located within a quaint strip mall a block from the beach walking path. I appreciated the clarity of the website with all prices posted so I knew what to expect. Both of our masseuses were experienced and professional. In the past, I have received pushback about a deep tissue massage, but there were no such issues here. I was asked about pressure. I asked for recommendations during the massage and was given them. It was a great experience and I would definitely go back!

Getting the 10 series + customize treatments after was a game changer for my body. I’m an athlete and during the time I was training for a marathon. I had hip and foot pain that kept flaring up. With the help of Lauren ~ being consistent with my treatments. I PR’d for my marathon and had zero pain during or after. I’m extremely grateful for her. Hands of an angel! I had been experiencing excruciating pain in my neck, shoulders and upper back for a couple weeks before coming for a massage. Zaida was very intuitive and focused on my main pain points with such intention and compassion. 1.5 hours went by super quick and I feel much better now. I highly recommend to anyone with pain and/or wanting to increase your overall wellbeing. Plenty of parking, clean facility, easy to schedule, reasonably priced.
Raman has angel hands. He is experienced in medical massages and has been the most incredible find. He truly knows what he's doing. He makes everything better and will go over any problem areas you have. I really appreciate his expertise.
I have not been a believer of reiki ever but after exhausting every possible avenue to help my trauma, anxiety etc I found her. I had called around trying to find the right person and she had sounded the most authentic. Not trying to sell me something or tell me its going to be a long journey and many sessions. She offered care and kindness and her time to listen to me on the phone. Although she could not see me that day she helped me process my feelings and grounding techniques. Once I did see her, my intuition was right. She had care and authenticity in her aura, once we grounded, and our session had began I started to feel so much release and lightness. She is a divine healer.
I came into San Diego Medical Massage with immense lower back pain. I suffer from a lot of knots in my lower back muscles and Akenaton was able to greatly help me out. He was really able to work those knots out and I felt immediate relief. The day after the massage, my pain was practically gone. Not only did he help relieve my pain but he also took the time to give me some after care suggestions on how I can relieve the knots on my own. I will definitely be back.

My doctor said I was going to need surgery if the physical therapy didn't show improvement within 6 months. After the 1st month of working with Garrett and Vanessa my doctor says I no longer need surgery. I continue to work with them to strengthen my foot and my balance. It's been 3 months and I no longer have foot pain. The staff really listens to you and helps you figure out a solution.
They work inside a gym (and at a pool nearby but I have not used it) There are locker rooms available to change your PT clothes. Plenty of free parking.
I have been to four physical therapy clinics in San Diego and Evolve is by far the most professional. The people at the front desk are very courteous, helpful, and do a great job of texting several days ahead to notify patients of upcoming appointment dates and times.My physical therapist for the last year and a half has been Meghan Burris. She originally worked on a bad meniscus tear and more recently a torn rotator shoulder injury. Of all the therapists I've seen she's easily the best. Meghan has a great feel for increasing the degree of difficulty without overdoing it. She takes a personal interest in seeing progress in all of her patients. I highly recommend her.

When you come your only regret will be not coming sooner!I was referred to Rejuvenation Bodywork by a friend who has gone to Clark in the past. I had an issue with my hip and back due to an old accident that was coming back to haunt me. I could barely walk. He watched me walk and within 10 seconds he pretty much figured out the problem and knew what to do. After my first session I saw almost immediate pain relief and could walk better after a day. I have tried Chiropractors, Massage, Physical therapists and nothing has worked even close to as well as Clark's bodywork.While he is more expensive than a Swedish or deep tissue massage, I assure you it is worth the extra money. This is not a standard PT or massage. It's very apparent that Clark really enjoys his work and cares about his patients' best interest and wants you to be successful in your treatments. I cannot thank or recommend Clark @ Rejuvenation enough!Side note: the location is easy to find and has plenty of free parking.
I have been coming here the past 2 months (total of 9 sessions) and I've really enjoyed my experience overall! Briana was fantastic because she made my first ever PT sessions comfortable, personable, and really helped me with my plantar fascitis, the pinch in my piriformis, and de quervain's tenosynovitis (that I could've gotten or triggered through teaching a lot of yoga). The pain went away after 3-ish weeks, but I decided to stay to focus on strengthening.
After my first session, I was given a printout of the exercises I did and it included detailed instructions, pictures, and a QR code to scan for videos too. I was amazed at the efficiency and ease! Then during all my sessions after that, Briana took her time figuring out how to creatively challenge me in order to improve my conditions. She answered all my questions and explained the purpose and effects of the exercises.
The flow in the office between all the PTs and clients in this one room is managed very smoothly without overwhelming or dismissing clients like myself. I think this greatly has to do with the clinic director, Eric. He is very attentive, caring, knowledgeable, and intentional. His team seems to really like working at this location with him and with each other based on how they balance sharing the equipment and converse throughout the room. It really makes a difference in providing the best sessions for the clients... and feels like a great workplace too!
Another thing to note is it is easy to book appointments over the phone and there is plenty of parking. It's a quiet area of business buildings but this clinic can get busy and popular. If I have any physical issues again, I'll be sure to come back here.

Jarod at Lean on Me Acupuncture is The Best! I was at Mission Beach on vacation for a month with severe pain from a pinched nerve in my neck. Pain meds and exercises from my PT were not giving me any relief. With each visit my pain started to leave. Jarod is so professional and so talented in acupuncture treatment that he can really help! The whole office is a friendly relaxing experience.
Where do I start?
I was diagnosed with stage4 endometriosis with multiple ovarian cysts. Earlier this year I had a laparoscopy to remove it all, including my right ovary that didn’t make it.
Fast forward to my time at Sage Haven.
My pelvic floor PT recommended this place to aid my healing & fertility journey.
Despite being Endo free I still struggle with other symptoms.
I’m about past halfway through my 12wk treatment plan with Dr. Ella & it has been a great experience.
Conventional medicine doesn’t know much about women’s health. So many times has an OBGYN thrown birth control in my face and told me this was “the only way” to keep Endo away. But I’m glad at Sage Haven, Dr Ella has listened to my concerns carefully & thoughtfully. My symptoms can be treated without the pill! Especially because my husband and I are trying to conceive.
My cramps, constipation and sciatic pains have been fire-cupped & acupuncture’d every week. My anemia has also been addressed with Chinese medicine.
My body temperature has increased (I always run cold because of my anemia), period abdominal cramps went from 10/10 pain to 3/10 (if you have endo you understand this is significant), and my constipation is the next thing that is slowly coming in to routine movements.
I truly believe with consistency, the body can heal. And my journey continues.

Overall acupuncture was not for me. However, Fawsi and Rosita are extremely caring people and on top of that, very intelligent with what they do. When I found out acupuncture wasn’t helping my specific case, (genetic spine disorder, so I knew it was a long shot) they had no issue returning the money for sessions I was not going to use.
Very low pressure, very clean, very friendly.
Highly recommend for those in pain.
Dr Merritt is the absolute best. I was recommended to her highly from my surgeon and I can understand why. I have endo and feel a world of difference after every treatment- not to mention her technique is painless and so gentle. I’m eternally grateful to be treated by Dr Merritt and can’t recommend her enough!

Dr. Uzi is magical. I hurt my back in the same spot that I hurt it 7 years ago and it took me four months to recover from my herniated disc. This was only my 2nd session with him in one week, and I have 90% mobility in my back. I am so surprised by my quick recovery, but at the same time, he took as long as I needed in sessions to feel better and even offered extra time with the acupuncture needles in my back, as well as healing tape. I was very skeptical because his prices were $20 or more over the normal prices, but now that I have almost completely healed my back in 1 week, I am never going anywhere else. I can now walk my dogs with ease this week, and that’s what makes me happy.
Eyton is a miracle worker, as so many others have noted too. I had forearm, bicep, and shoulder pain from weightlifting and swimming - and he did an amazing job over several sessions diagnosing and treating the exact spots. My bicep pain was particularly deep, and he got to my brachioradialis by looking in his textbooks exactly where to needle.
He also has a great sense of humor and really put me at ease throughout the therapy.
I will keep going back each time i overdo it on exercise (being nearly 50, and probably pushing a bit too hard).

I had the pleasure of visiting this incredible piece of heaven yesterday. The minute I walked into Nalu healing I immediately forgot the outside world. I had the pleasure of a 90 minute appointment with Jess. My facial was the best I've ever had. Jess is so experienced and skilled. I look forward to seeing her again. I also look forward to joining some of the other events that are held at Nalu. The music that they had playing was perfect! The whole atmosphere here is absolutely perfect. Even the bathroom, you actually feel like you're underwater in there. It was amazing. I love this place. And I know you would too.
Christina Bird provides fantastic service. She is incredibly knowledgeable and her sessions create measurable relief. I started going to Christina when I had neck pain and I was amazed at how I noticed specific change immediately. I now see her for nerve compression and she has helped create gradual symptom relief. Christina is a compassionate soul who is wonderful to know and she provides a beautiful, relaxing experience. I highly recommend her!
I really appreciate how attentive and hands-on she is. She explains my body’s mechanics in a way that helps me understand what’s going on and what each treatment is doing. She’s incredibly gentle with the needles too — I barely feel them. Every session feels personal, informative, and calming.

Beckham is a nice, friendly, patient instructor. He points out all of my errors and shows me a lot of useful and practical tips and techniques to improve. I took 4 lessons with him and passed. Highly recommend him!
I had a great experience here. Casey is an amazing instructor. He is patient and meticulous. He is also a very nice person to talk to, which made our driving sessions joyful.
Five Star Driving was fantastic! They had plenty of appointment, times and options available to accommodate our schedule. Sam always arrived ahead of the appointment time. Their response to messages was quick, even when I sent messages after hours. And the drivers training was Top-notch. Not only did my son become a much better driver, but he passed his driving test on the first time around with no errors on his test!

I took classes with Leonard 5 years ago in 2020 at 17 and I still think about how helpful he has been with my capability to drive. Leonard is a fantastic teacher and a lot of the things he's taught me has stuck with me and is embedded in my head while driving haha. I seriously cannot recommend this school enough, I mean here I am writing a review 5 years later! This is how impactful the lessons have been to me. After driving with others who haven't taken driving school courses you can truly see the difference in those who have and those who haven't. Leonard teaches so many valuable lessons so for those of you who are on the fence about choosing this school, as a former student myself I say this is your best choice 100%!

Thank you for the effective training to be able to pursue local construction trucking. Highly recommend School with instructors and teachers that have been in the industry that pour into the students with their experiences . Awesome experience learning curriculum and hands behind the wheel training to obtain CDL and endorsements with confidence. Awesome staff that work on campus also willing to meet anyone where there at to get to the next level.
Booked my sons first lesson, and it was really easy. It only costs $99.00. The total will be $297 for 6 hours. They did not ask for that amount upfront, which helps with my budget. I received an email with the receipt. Mark was very helpful in getting registered. He said they only require $99.00 for the first lesson. I believe 3 lessons for a total of 6 hrs is a great deal! I did my research. My son will be driving with Gilbert. There is no added fees unless you cancel with no advance notice or if you need them to pick up the student driver. My son is going to either walk or take an Uber to the school. There is no indication of insurance fees. They just said for my son to arrive and bring his permit. I'm looking forward to hearing how it all went with my son.
Ahmad is a great instructor. He made sure my extremely shy son felt comfortable and confident. He advised us on how to space out the lessons and what to work on. My son passed his driver's test with flying colors. I will recommend Ahmad to all of my son's non driving friends and I will be using him again in two years when my daughter starts to drive.
I just took the CMSP course September 23/24, 2024. My instructor was Charli and she was a really great instructor. She was funny but also she could be pretty "mean" (that one is for you Charli). This class definitely isn't for those who are sensitive and not coachable. If you can't take criticism and apply it to your riding then you will not pass. Instructors are 100% lookin out for everyone and our safety. I passed the test feeling confident, although i've been around motorcycles, dirt bikes, and mountain biking growing up, this course is very valuable for when you are a beginner rider. If you really want to ride you should put 100% of your effort and focus into this course if you want to pass. And it's the best $425 i spent this year. Shoutout to Charli for helping me grow and feel confident in my riding.
