Excellent services and customer service! Got two bags of IV fluids with vitamins to help me rehydrate after being ill and my nurse was exceptionally kind and I could tell she was concerned with me being as comfortable as possible. The owner seemed like a very good dude as well and it seems like he cares about making people feel better. Can’t recommend this place enough and I will 100% be going back.

This is my first haircut in years from a barber shop. Since the beginning of Covid, I had been cutting my own hair with assistance from my wife. Brandon did a great job cutting my hair in preparation for my son's wedding. He was very personable and I highly recommend him. I will return!

I have 3B/3C/4a curls, and for years I felt like most salons didn’t really understand how to work with them. Either my curls would get blown out, weighed down, or completely lost in the process. But here? It’s the opposite. They don’t take your curls away they bring them back to life. They make them more manageable, more refreshed, more you, while still letting your natural curl pattern shine beautifully.
I’ve been seeing Taylor since the very beginning, and she is absolutely phenomenal. Truly gifted. I had the best experience with Daisy. I went in with photos of what I thought i wanted, and she took the time to examine my hair, curl pattern, face shape, etc... and gave me a cut that incorporated all the pictures and exactly what I wanted. After Daisy finished with me my curls were soft, bouncy, and simply JUICY. My hair looks and feels healthier. She definitely knows curly hair! I totally love my hair now.

Amazing service with daisy!!! I just moved to San Diego looking for a new salon when I stopped into portal, I got an appointment with daisy. I haven’t got my hair done in a while(I had a lot of concerns and issues) daisy knew exactly my vision. We did a Bob haircut for me and color which turned out incredible. I’ve never been happier. I highly recommend going to her if meeting somebody to trust with your hair inspiration and vision.

I recently moved to downtown SD and spent MONTHS researching and reviewing hair people (including asking everyone I ran into). It's almost funny how much time I spent researching it, because I didn't research a new eye doctor this hard!! Brianna (Bri) was fantastic from the start - we texted a number of times before my appointment. Part of it was for my comfort level, but also I wanted to make sure that she was prepared for what she was getting into. :) I'd been blue for 8-9 years and was ready to make the change to purple, but wasn't quite comfortable enough to have her use bleach or a color stripper just yet. She was kind and helpful and I was pleased she also uses the same product that my old gal used! My visit was excellent. The salon is clean and very pretty, and well lit. The hair is all mine (also part of my concern when initially contacting her because the website almost made me think she only does extensions), it's long and fine. Adding insult to injury, I was getting over a cold when I went to visit her. She handled me and my hair like a champ. She was friendly and talkative when I felt like it (which I really didn't, as talking made me cough). She asked questions about what hairbrush I used, questions about what my old gal did, and was great about listening and asking follow up questions. I haven't had a chance to wash it for the first time, yet, but it's a product that I'm familiar with so I'm not worried about caring for it. I will return, and next time I'll be comfortable enough to ask her to bleach my roots. I highly suggest Bri and the Green+Anchor Salon!
I've been coming to Madison for several years and she is awesome! As a curly girl, it can be VERY hard to find someone who knows how to handle curls and Madison does a great job of not taking off too much and giving my hair shape. Always prompt and a pleasure to work with.

Went here for the first time and booked with Christina. Service was amazing from all of the staff. They had an issue with their booking system so I did have a short wait at the beginning but did not mind at all. In terms of the acrylics I got I can honestly say these might be the most perfect set of nails I’ve had in years. I will definitely be going back!

Yesterday I visited for a pedicure and she was gentle, meticulous, and worked a miracle on my feet that had been neglected (I’m a runner and cyclist and my feet need help!). The gel manicure service at Polo Nails is really impressive-the paint is even in color, lasting for more than three weeks, helping me confidently show off my nails despite my busy work schedule every day.
I am not sure why this place has so few reviews. It is a hidden gem. It is clean and well maintained with plenty of parking in an adjacent lot. I came here for a gel manicure. Rose did a great job. She helped me pick a color that was compatible with the rules I have to follow for work. The mani lasted long after the polish started to grow out. They do their manis in the pedicure chairs so it was extra relaxing. I really needed a back massage.
They also have full salon services by appointment. I love my hair cut. Vann listened to what I wanted to did a great job with my hair. I have long hair and coarse hair. He did a great job preserving the length while adding in layers and framing my face. I will 100% come back to his location for nail and hair services.

I had my eyeliner done by Thao and although she was very patient with how I wanted my eyeliner, I felt a little rushed. She even let me draw how I’d like my PMU, however, after the PMU session, she still missed an area I suggest needed adjustment and one eye is still a little off but the great thing about her is that she offers free touch up session!! Through the whole session I felt no pain and she still reapplied numbing medication. Now I am just eagerly waiting for healing and my touch up.

I have been to several curly hair specialists even in LA and I haven't been satisfied with any of their services. However, I found Brianna a couples weeks ago and she has been the best! She is super helpful, sweet, honest, and very professional. I was very impressed with her style of cutting and all of her helpful tips and guidance. You can also reach out to her with any questions at any time and she responds as soon as she can. I love her vibe and her hair studio is so adorable. I was extremely happy with the outcome of how beautiful my hair turned out. I am definitely coming back and she is now my new curly hair specialist. I even booked my future appointment with her before I left. I recommend you book your appointment online ahead of time. As for parking there are some located outside. Don't hesitate to contact her and book as soon as you can before she runs out of spots! Finding a curly hair specialist can be difficult and I finally found the best!

I have suffered from cystic acne since I was 16 years old. Up until last year (2024), I had tried every topical, I had gotten chemical peels, and basically exhausted my resources. Every doctor or family member I confided in kept pointing me toward acutane. I personally, was determined to do anything other than acutane because after undergoing naturopathic blood and gut testing, I realized that this treatment was another form of a bandaid for my symptoms, not a cure. I came to Elizabeth and told her I was getting married in 6 months. My goal was to look my best without Accutane. I learned through Elizabeth that DMK facial treatment is science based and prescribed to each client based on their skin’s needs.
Elizabeth not only treated my skin, but educated me on how every product was treating my skin. We talked about hydration, microbiome balance, hyperpigmentation, pH balance, and more. I am a sucker for science and love knowing how everything is working. Because of Elizabeth’s educating and care, I was able to leave every appointment and continue protecting and curing my skin one day at a time. I followed my regimen very strictly and also kept in touch with my naturopath - also recommended by Elizabeth.
By the time my wedding came around I was blown away with the results. At 27 years old I could not remember the last time my skin ever looked so clear, smooth and refreshed. I've had relatively unproblematic skincare issues up until last year, when I started breaking out repeatedly and all over my neck out of (seemingly) nowhere. It was Adriana who asked all the questions I didn't think to ask myself to finally realize it was a new medication I had started (I confirmed with my Dr - breaking out was a side effect that wasn't shared with me). Not only did she help me figure out that mystery, but she's really helped with the post-acne healing in the last few months fading the resulting hyperpigmentation with the treatments she's given me and her suggested at-home skincare plan.

I have been to extraordinary beauty twice so far for the signature Hydrafacial and it is worth every penny! This is hands down the cleanest tattoo shop I’ve been to in San Diego. Mervin did my chrysanthemum tattoo and a cover-up for me, and the entire experience from start to finish was amazing. His shop in Hillcrest is spotless, well-organized, and immediately makes you feel at ease. Mervin is extremely professional and takes the time to make sure you’re comfortable throughout the whole process, which is a big reason I keep coming back. You can tell he takes real pride in all of his work—especially with how well he handled the cover-up—and it shows in the final result. Beyond his talent, he genuinely has a good soul and creates such a positive, welcoming environment. I couldn’t recommend him more.

This place was truly amazing, I went in with a couple of my girlfriends. We all decided to get tattoos. I’ve always wanted the Prince symbol, and so I have it on my left leg. And then I love this place so much I went back two days later and got another tattoo on the another leg. The guys couldn’t have been nicer made me feel so comfortable. And they even had a big mama table for me to lay on. I’m always afraid I’m going to break a table. Of course I haven’t yet but they had one just for me anyways.
Another excellent service call from Sieg. Easily replaced a wall mounted tub faucet without breaking any tile, and diagnosed/fixed a very tricky problem with a tub faucet. All for a very reasonable price. Thank you!

Stefan came over immediately to give me a quote. I was in a bind as I was without water for a day and a half as I had a leak from my water main to my house. Stefan got me a quote for a reasonable price to reroute my piping with copper piping from the main into the house going through the garage. He came the next day and he and Stefan Jr. And Simon completed the job in 5 hours. That included trenching for the new pipe and all of the work in the garage. I was delighted with the result. Very professional. And the cleanup was outstanding.

We were hosting an event at my home on an over the weekend and right in the middle of it we realize our main line backed up which caused both our restrooms to become out of order. We were referred to HPS plumbing from a friend and their referral paid off big time. Worried we’d go hours before being able to use the restroom, within 45 minutes of reaching out to HPS, our plumber Daniel swiftly arrived to fix the issue. We were back in order and didn’t have to inconvenience our guests any longer. He was reliable, had a great attitude and we appreciated the affordable rate. Boy oh boy! I don't know what to tell you, but if you're looking for a quality electrical company, these people are the bomb. We recently decided to put in Solar and then found out that based on our needs and the size of the solar system we wanted that are 40+ year old electrical panel would not do the job. We needed to upgrade the panel and because of new regulations in San Diego county it also had to be moved to a new location. Underground necessitated from the street to my house. All in all complex that could've been a whole lot more expensive. The crew at United was absolutely amazing to deal with honestly when they finish the work you couldn't tell that it hadn't always been that way. The panel provided a lot of other benefits as well. My circuit breakers don't flip anymore and I'm powering my house with Solar. Even during power outages. Definitely add them to your bid list for a big job. I think you'll be really pleased with the results.

This is my second time that Cesar came to my home as I had to two electrical outlets to be installed and a dimmer that needed to be fixed. Not only did Cesar charged me very reasonable but he went out of his way to fix our electrical outlet by our stairs and also replaced the dimmer both at no charge. I might add Cesar was punctual, his fees are reasonable and has very good communication skills. He's professional and knows his trade very well. I would recommend him for any electrical repairs or installations.
Greg from HG Electric came by and diagnosed my issue of a broken breaker caused by high voltage tesla charger. He fixed the breaker and was very informative on explaining everything. He allowed me to watch him fix it and show me around the electrical box. Were also gonna have Greg fix all the other parts in the box. Great communicator and highly recommended for electrical needs!

I called them late in the day and they were super responsive! They came out the next day assessed the problem and referred us to the manufacturer and even advised us how to talk to them because we were technically out of our warranty. I called and they were totally right! The manufacturer is going to come out and repair it for free now based on this companies advice but they weren’t before and we’re gonna charge me 3-4 times. I really appreciate their professionalism, honesty and awareness of keeping costs as low as possible. I will definitely use them again if I need anything.

Jeff Thompson went above and beyond the call of duty to help me. I dropped my keys down the trash shoot by mistake. It had my house, mailbox and fob to enter the building on it. He tried getting my door open for quite a while, to no avail. So we decided to open the lock on the trash room and go dumpster diving. And WE FOUND THEM!! It save me lots of tome and money rather than replacing them. He was great.

I was in need of carpet repair and was able to get an estimate via text/photos of the area. The repairman came out as scheduled and did a beautiful job. He replaced the carpet in an area previously covered by a built-in desk. You cannot tell it was even there now. Great work!

From the start the response was completely different with D’Sapone. All the other estimates said the same thing “we’ll regrout and reseal” or worse “this whole thing needs to be pulled up and redone”.D’Sapone diagnosed the issue on a much deeper level and offered a solution that would avoid a costly retiling and maintain better tile overall.Chris was the contractor brought out. He was very thorough and explained every detail of the process so I was not left feeling like I didn’t know what was going on. If anything I knew more about tile and grout and solutions to rectify ongoing issues by the time the process was over.This was an all-day job but the results speak for themselves. My shower tile was transformed. We just finished our bathroom remodel and honestly, it feels like we’re walking into a luxury hotel every time we step inside. The marble, gold accents, and Kohler fixtures are absolutely gorgeous and give the space such an elevated, timeless feel.
Eddie was our foreman and was extremely attentive and pleasant to work with. Same goes for the entire crew who worked so hard, showing up on time Monday through Saturday, and their attention to detail really shows in the finished result. They will never move onto the next step before consulting with me on placement and how I liked it. I was extremely happy that I did not need to micro-manage since I know that I am very particular and attentive to design and details. You can tell they take pride in their work. Every little corner and finish was done so carefully.
Dor (project manager) and Avi (owner) were also AMAZING to work with. From the start, Dor never pressured us into signing any contracts right away, adding things that didn’t make sense, nor did he ever make us feel like we were wasting his time. Prior to getting a quote from Lusso, another company gave a whole spiel about them losing money every time they went out to quote a potential client. Then they said that if they left our house without us signing a contract then we wouldn’t get any discount. Not only did it make us feel really uncomfortable and horrible but their prices were ridiculous compared to Lusso. No matter what time of day it was, Dor & Avi responded right away. They are great communicators and made the whole process smooth and stress-free, always checking in without ever pressuring us into anything. We felt comfortable the entire way through, and that meant so much.
The only regret that I had was not doing this sooner since I’m pregnant in my 3rd trimester. We’re beyond happy that they finished so quick with 2 months to spare before our baby comes so that we can truly enjoy our dual shower. We love how everything turned out and so grateful to the whole team for making our dream bathroom come true. Highly recommend them if you’re looking for quality, honesty, and a truly beautiful result!

We live in Mission Viejo and are so glad we came upon Shugarman's Bath of Anaheim to replace our walk-in shower. It's beautiful and such a pleasure to use. For our bathroom project, we needed an older Jacuzzi tub/shower replaced with a big walk-in shower, to match the existing counters, flooring and cabinetry which had been remodeled a couple of years prior. I was especially impressed with the magnificent tiling job performed by MBK's Jaime Velasco, in response to our request. Not only was all of the wall design beautifully tiled, he fashioned special shelving, niches, and a bench, using wonderful craftmanship. In addition, the project was especially well-managed by Mike Moore, who was there every single day ensuring progress and coordination among the various subs. He was tireless and accommodating for the entire span of the construction, never losing his patience and good humor, as well as providing fine-tuning in several cases for finish carpentry, electrical oversight, and --especially--keeping the existing cabinetry, etc., as well as the rest of our house free of dust. Kudos to both of these men, and thank you, MBK!
Tal, Avi and crew did a great job remodeling our bathroom! We started with a non-functional claw-foot tub and ended up with a modern tub/shower combo that we absolutely love. Tal and Avi were very responsive and listened to what we wanted and even constructed a linen closet that wasn't there before. Their crew worked hard and efficiently, and cleaned up afterwards.

We had some hedges that had outgrown their original stakes and were leaning after some wind we had a few weeks ago.
I hired Gilberto to source, install, and tie off my hedges to some 3” diameter wooden stakes. About a dozen hedges just outside my fence.
Gilberto was responsive and fair on the price. He came out about 2 days after we agreed on the costs and he finished the job in an afternoon.

For almost 15 years Clint and his crew have pruned, shaped, and kept healthy a 50+ year old Canary Island pine tree. The care and respect San Diego Tree Care shows for trees and plants as well as people (client & neighbors) is reliably and outstandingly consistent, and thoughtful. Every interaction from scheduling with Jaqui, to Clint's estimate visit, followed by the tree work and clean-up (kudos to John, Sam, & Oscar, plus Clint himself!) has been excellent.

I had a wonderful experience at this dental office and this was my second visit. Amy the assistant dental hygienist was kind attentive and made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Qadeer the dental hygienist was very gentle thorough and professional. Everything was explained clearly and I felt well taken care of during my visit.

Leslie gives a fantastic therapeutic massage. She knows exactly where to knead the muscle to relieve the pain. When you get up from the table, you feel like you’ve slept for days. No two massages are the same, and I’ve been going for years.

Very welcoming atmosphere and Dr. Shannahan clearly demonstrates years of professional competence. I had been in a car accident and while my primary care doctor was only able to recommend rest and medication Dr. Shannahan was able to alleviate the majority of chronic pain and return my focus by the end of the first visit. The X-rays he took were exceptionally high quality and allowed him to easily explain to me exactly what his plan for future visits would be going forward. After the 3rd visit I was beginning to feel better in some places than before the accident. Dr Shannahan did set realistic expectations for how far he believes my recovery can progress but I look forward to the rest of the treatments as I already feel significantly better than I had after my accident and am excited of how much more mobility and strength I can regain

I have been living, often painfully, with eczema for the past 20 years. During the most painful flare ups, I have seen numerous doctors, been prescribed a plethora of topicals, and often leave my appointments feeling discouraged and continuously itchy. My most recent flare up was intense and incredibly painful and after five days of trying to live through it, MedDerm was able to squeeze me in for an appointment with DNP Jay Blake... and I cannot be more grateful!! Not only does Jay have a genuine, professional, and sweet demeanor, he provided the utmost quality care by making me feel comfortable/not embarrassed in my uncomfortable/itchy body. He also detailed options on what we can do moving forward and how we can work towards a future with less pain! His nurse, Jasmine, and Louisa at the front desk were the cherries on top of the BEST experience I've ever had at a dermatologist. Mahalo nui to Jay, Jasmine, Louisa, and the entire MedDerm team... truly, you have lifted my spirits and for the first time, have made me feel like there's hope in my insane eczema journey! Tip: Parking is only $1 for every 15 min for the first two hours in the underground parking garage... I was in and out under an hour and paid $3... worth every penny!

I have been a patient of Dr. Borok for a few years now and I will say she is one of the most amazing doctors i've had in my life. I have struggled with numerous health conditions for several years now and while most doctors i've seen do the bare minimum Dr. Borok has gone above and beyond to make me feel cared for. Not only is she extremely knowledgable but she truly possess a trait that I feel most doctors lack, which is true care and empathy for her patients. I have always been easily able to reach her for any of my health needs and the office staff are not only efficient but kind and always respectful. I highly recommend Dr. Borok as a dermatologist.

I have had pets all my life and have been to many vets. Most of the vets I’ve had are great, but this vet clinic goes so beyond great, it’s like nothing I have ever experienced. It is such an amazing, welcoming, compassionate environment.
My dog and cat have both had some health issues, so we have been there quite a bit this year. Dr. Mark ALWAYS takes time to explain everything and has so much empathy and compassion. He is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. Jenna at the front is so kind and friendly. The veterinary assistants are so sweet and gentle with my pets.
Even when I got some bad news about my cat, Maggie, I didn’t feel alone. I felt they were hurting right along with me. It’s rare to find that type of humanity in business. I can’t praise this clinic enough.

I can’t recommend a vet more highly than Dr. D. She and her entire staff are amazing. They have taken the best care of my “senior” Boxer since he was 4 months old. Always caring, always going above and beyond to resolve all of his issues, which have been many over the years—GI problems, cancer tumors, corneal ulcers, gum hyperplasia--you name it! Each time, she has discussed the options/outcomes with me and together we have agreed upon a treatment plan to maximize his quality of life. I wouldn’t trust my dog to anyone else.

If you have a furry member of the family, THIS IS YOUR VET. For my first visit, my appointment was at 3pm. The check in process was one simple sheet and took LESS THAN 5 minutes. My cat (Maui) was checked by the nurse at 3:05 and the doctor was in the exam room by 3:10. The exam was thorough and complete. Maui was taken back for a full panel blood work and was prescribed antibiotics for a mouth infection in 15 minutes. Maui and I were out the door with his prescriptions IN HAND at 3:40. The exam rooms are very clean, the treats are plentiful, and most importantly the staff is caring, thorough and time efficient. Save yourself the frustration and long waits many other vets make you deal with and just come here.
Has been my go to vet for a while now and they deserve the rating from me. Dr Diamond cracked a case on my dog 6 other big vets in San diego couldn't (almost 8k wasted), and after that I knew these folks were the one. From there on its been nothing but amazing, they have a very special staff team. Like, everyone remembers the pets, know how to work with each and every one differently, like my aggressive and very protective 120lb GSD. AND YET THEY LOVE TO SEE HIM!!! But yeah, if youre looking for a vet, one time visit or long term these are the folks you want. Military friendly and can work around multiple types of difficult situations too.
Our pets are our world, and finding a veterinarian you truly trust is so hard. Dr. Fransioli is absolutely amazing. We have two cats, Roy Kent and POTUS Bader Ginsburg, and a dog named Abbey, and they absolutely ADORE Dr. Fransioli! She always remembers the little details about them, which makes us trust her care completely.
The entire experience at Rancho San Carlos Vet is top-notch — communication is excellent, scheduling is easy, the online portal is convenient for appointments and prescription food, and we love the text and call reminders. They even follow up after visits to check on how our pets are doing. All of their techs are amazing!

Dr. Berk is the best Veterinarian! He's taken care of my Maltipoo for 8 years now. He saved her life from day 1 that I got her & just recently successfully surgically removed what turned out to be a benign mass in her mouth. The most important quality in Dr. Berk is not only is he very knowledgeable & helpful, but he is truly caring & loves the animals he takes great care of, along with his great staff. You can feel that he truly cares. I highly recommend him if you are looking for an excellent veterinarian.
Wow! This is the most professional and amazing groomer we have ever been to. After a lifetime of going to the groomer every two weeks our 15 year old Malshi suddenly decided she does not tolerate groomers anymore. She is going deaf and blind and is just having a hard time, so long story short we have been trying to find a new groomer that could cater to her spicy senior demeanor. We saw a video of Logan the groomer grooming a spicy dog on social media and immediately made an appointment same day. To say we were relieved and impressed would be an understatement. Beginning to end, booking to pick up the experience was 100/10. The staff is so kind and patient. They took the time to go over our senior's quirks before the appointment and by some miracle were able to groom her completely. They did a wonderful job and she didn't seem stressed at all upon pick-up. Will be back and highly recommend for senior dogs needing special care.
I found Raise the Wuff while searching for a fear free dog groomer who is known for handling anxious dogs. I am so happy to have found them and lucky they had a cancellation for soon after I first contacted them. Charity was timely and very courteous and professional. My dog is a nervous girl usually with grooming but Charity made her feel safe and comfortable. Maple is not as nervous/shaky as she has been in the past coming home from the groomers and she looks great!

We love Jamie and Karla! I’ve been looking for a groomer for my two doodles that’s closer to me and has reasonable prices. As doodles owners may know - some salons are sometimes not the friendliest towards doodles, but Karla and Jamie are professional, understanding and AWESOME at what they do.
They create a comfortable environment for the girls and are always so sweet. I usually give them a full groom every 3 months ( we’re not afraid to go short because we’re active girls) they do an incredible job and the grow out is sooo cute!

I’ve brought both my dogs to Angel. The first experience was with my Coco who is considered a reactive dog so I was nervous about her behavior. After five minutes into our first meet not only did Angel calm me down he calm Coco down in such a compassionate way. I left crying tears of joy knowing my dog was safe and finally got her spa treatment. Take your furbabies to Angel you won’t regret it.

Modo Yoga is the best studio in San Diego!! The hot room is huge, gorgeous and clean. The instructors are welcoming, encouraging and just brilliant with their guidance during the classes. If you are looking for a hot yoga studio, I can promise you, this is the studio where you will feel comfort the second you walk in.

Currently on my second month of going to Riffs and I couldn’t be happier about the entire experience. I love going to their 6am class during the week, great way to start my mornings. Highly recommend trying it out no matter if you’re experienced or a beginner.

Iyengar yoga is a traditional yoga gifted to the world from a guru who spent his life sharing it. Carolyn Belko and her well trained staff embody the teachings. I have travelled many places and studied with many Iyengar teachers. Carolyn ranks among the best. She is firm yet compassionate. I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Guruji but, as I humbly understand, he was too. If you haven’t studied Iyengar yoga start with an introduction as it is unlike any other form of yoga and will require a progression. Then you can see if it resonates with you. If so, may the fruit of the study bless you as it has me. Namaste ?

I absolutely love Honey yoga. I've been intimidated by yoga studios in the past but in December I took the leap with Honey and it's been such an amazing experience. Their instructors and staff are so lovely. I've attended HIIT, slow, flow, Hi-Lo and restore each class has helped me relax and become present. Yes, even HIIT - it's beginner friendly and the instructors are so encouraging.
It was my first time with the instructor Sue Ann and only my second time at this studio because I don't live in SD, but already I can't wait to return. There is something very satisfying about taking a class that is both familiar (Iyengar) but also challenging, when you are taught new poses. It was restorative but not "nap time" for adults. We also we used the rope wall, my favorite, and lots of props. Tip: get there early, parking can be difficult.
Sunny was warm friendly and a wonderful Iyengar yoga teacher. She gave great suggestions and adjustments in a homey studio.
I have absolute faith in Yoga Jai Ma and their teachers. I’ve been fortunate to get to take several different styles of yoga offered by many different teachers at Yoga Jai Ma and the experience is always positive. I always leave feeling better than when I showed up.
I’ve been taking classes at Powerhouse Pilates for the past four years, and I can say with full confidence that it’s the best Pilates studio I’ve ever been to! Brigette and Jennifer have created such a strong sense of community, and every instructor brings a unique, challenging, and creative approach—so you never hit a plateau with any muscle group. I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else!
Roshni is an amazing instructor—super friendly and incredibly skilled. She creates a fresh curriculum for every session, letting you try new exercises and strengthen different parts of your body each time. Her studio is adorable, with a beautiful view of the golf course and the sky.

This is one of the best private studios and instructors in town! Daniella is just incredible at what she does. One can tell she has studied Pilates, the human body, and movement extensively. She caters each session to your specific needs and requests. You will always walk out of the session feeling stronger and with improved posture. I highly recommend taking sessions with her.
I've taken private pilates lessons with Jessica for nearly a year while rehabbing from sciatica and back surgery. She is amazing. Extremely knowledgeable about pilates, she adjusts positions for my particular problems, finds ways to push me, celebrates my progress, and cares about me as a whole. She even got me to start swimming, which really aided my recovery. Finally, Jessica is very funny AND a really kind person. It's easy to develop trust and rapport with her, which I think is important for anyone learning and growing in pilates. And did I mention her rates are ridiculously low for private pilates?? Yes, you need to try her!
First time I tried Pilates. Great instructor. Made it fun. Cannot wait to go back and do it again. Such an interesting combination of equipment and movement. My spine is fused in multiple places and I feel like this is something I will be able to do and enjoy, now and in the future.
Two classes with Andrew today and I’m glowing! ?✨ I sweated, I laughed, I had a blast. Andrew is hands down the best way to start or end your day ~ his positive energy is contagious and I always leave stronger, happier, and so proud of myself.
Looking back, I’m beyond grateful I started this journey months ago. Working out has finally become a habit that stuck, and it’s all thanks to Andrew. Somehow, he makes me want to show up, push myself, and become the best version of me.

There are a great variety of instructors to choose from and they all have their own unique way of tailoring each class to your individual level and body needs. The access to the parking garage is also a plus. Highly recommend!

Just started my Pilates journey, I was really nervous about it for no reason.I took a free 30 min class before signing up and Sahar won me over. By far my favorite instructor here. I'm only 3 classes in but really enjoying it. I went with the unlimited pass so I could take as many classes as I want a month. Since it's lighter strain I wanted to be able to do more.When you start you have to stick to level 1 or 1.5 when you get more acclimated. Since it's a small studio classes fill up fast. The app is really easy to use though. I book all my classes a week or two in advance. Since level 1 gets filled up and since I work it's hard to take the mid day classes. Even if you are new to Pilates the instructors are very friendly and accommodating to meet your fitness level. They will show you how to work the machines and the right positions. New lingo to learn but you'll catch on after a class or two.So far booking ahead has worked for me. Each instructor is different so you'll never experience the same class twice. We use a variety of different weights and tools along with the reformer to build our strength. I was sore after my first class! Just a heads up I do recommend taking the free crash course if you have never done Pilates before then sign up. You are locked in for the first 3 months and then you can cancel anytime after that. And there is fee for last minute cancellations.
Absolutely amazing place to learn Pilates. The instructors are extremely experienced, knowledgeable, attentive, and very welcoming towards new students. The space is peaceful and clean. Our posture and strength has visibly increased after just a couple months.We are so glad that we gave this place a try before giving up on Pilates thinking it's not something for us (based on our experience elsewhere).
I have been doing Pilates for over a month and so far, I have been to 3 of the Club Pilates locations. I have to give praise to this location in 4S Ranch!! There is something about it that I just love!! Sophie and Ella are always so sweet and greet me with a big smile! And Dippy's Class is fabulous!! The management was warm and welcoming, the staff was very sweet and kind, and a deep tissue massage was beyond belief. My daughter and I came while on vacation. As I searched for a reputable massage, I found Bliss and I’m so glad I did. It is located within a quaint strip mall a block from the beach walking path. I appreciated the clarity of the website with all prices posted so I knew what to expect. Both of our masseuses were experienced and professional. In the past, I have received pushback about a deep tissue massage, but there were no such issues here. I was asked about pressure. I asked for recommendations during the massage and was given them. It was a great experience and I would definitely go back!

Getting the 10 series + customize treatments after was a game changer for my body. I’m an athlete and during the time I was training for a marathon. I had hip and foot pain that kept flaring up. With the help of Lauren ~ being consistent with my treatments. I PR’d for my marathon and had zero pain during or after. I’m extremely grateful for her. Highly recommend for my fellow runners, athletes, gym goers, or anyone wanting to get more in touched with their body and improve their performance overall.

Hands of an angel! I had been experiencing excruciating pain in my neck, shoulders and upper back for a couple weeks before coming for a massage. Zaida was very intuitive and focused on my main pain points with such intention and compassion. 1.5 hours went by super quick and I feel much better now. I highly recommend to anyone with pain and/or wanting to increase your overall wellbeing. Plenty of parking, clean facility, easy to schedule, reasonably priced.
Raman has angel hands. He is experienced in medical massages and has been the most incredible find. He truly knows what he's doing. He makes everything better and will go over any problem areas you have. I really appreciate his expertise.

I have not been a believer of reiki ever but after exhausting every possible avenue to help my trauma, anxiety etc I found her. I had called around trying to find the right person and she had sounded the most authentic. Not trying to sell me something or tell me its going to be a long journey and many sessions. She offered care and kindness and her time to listen to me on the phone. Although she could not see me that day she helped me process my feelings and grounding techniques. Once I did see her, my intuition was right. She had care and authenticity in her aura, once we grounded, and our session had began I started to feel so much release and lightness. She is a divine healer.
I really wanted to love this place! It has great reviews and the employees are all very sweet and friendly. First you check in and then are walked to your room. The rooms at first glance are very clean and spacious enough for yourself and the other person. Once you settle in, you undress and lay down underneath covers to begin your service. The service I chose was Stress Melt Scalp Treatment. This included a 90 min service for head and scalp as well as a short targeted massage (but more like stretches). I paid about $120 (not including tip). They start off by showing you a video and pictures of your scalp, so you can see the before and after. The rest of the time is mostly relaxing although there was an instance where there was water all over my face including the ears and mouth. At first it felt relaxing then I just wanted to tell the lady to remove it but was not able to because the water was in my face and if I opened my mouth it would go inside...so that part I didn't like but it is part of the overall process, except you are not warned this will happen. The stretches did feel nice though. When done, the scalp feels very refreshed and clean. I did still see some things in my after picture of the scalp that were in the before. I think with consistency on my part, it could get better. What I did not like was that I was asking for advice on scalp care and the lady was not knowledgeable to answer my questions unfortunately. I do believe they should have some knowledge to provide feedback on scalp care. When the service was over, I started sneezing and didn't realize why until I changed and left the room. Turns out it was 30 mins before closing and they hella sprayed vinegar all over the floor. It was the strongest smell of vinegar I've ever dealt with, even the employees were sneezing and saying sorry for the smell. It would have been better for them to wait until my service was over (I was the last one). I also noticed that my hair was completely stripped from its natural oils, which is normal since it is a scalp treatment. However, it would have been nice to receive some type of conditioner service or hydrating service for after care even if it means additional price. My hair literally looked like a broom for the next 3 days. All in all its a good place to visit if you want that self-care at a more affordable price. However, I would highly recommend taking some after hair care products to do your hair routine in the bathroom before you leave. I say it's only a one time thing for the experience.
Extremely amazing practice. I had two injuries and they helped me recover them both. I had some hip issues for a few months, after a month or so of PT I felt comfortable to go back on my long hikes. I also had a lot of shoulder pain and they helped me strengthen and understand how to engage my shoulders better. The PT environment is extraordinarily welcoming and fun. I am always excited to come in!

I had a great experience at Rehab United. The facility is very clean, and the staff is professional and friendly. My physical therapist, Julia, was extremely knowledgeable and encouraging. I started my physical therapy at Proactive after a recent skiing accident and ACL/double meniscus surgery. I was so terrified, since this was my first sports injury but the team at ProActive Carmel Valley took me in and were the warmest to me. They helped me on my journey, and now 7 weeks post op I am fully able to do almost everything I was able to do pre injury. My physical therapist Kim made sure I was progressing through my injury at a good pace, and always offered words of encouragement even after I stopped my PT. My doctor said I was going to need surgery if the physical therapy didn't show improvement within 6 months. After the 1st month of working with Garrett and Vanessa my doctor says I no longer need surgery. I continue to work with them to strengthen my foot and my balance. It's been 3 months and I no longer have foot pain. The staff really listens to you and helps you figure out a solution.
They work inside a gym (and at a pool nearby but I have not used it) There are locker rooms available to change your PT clothes. Plenty of free parking.
I have been to four physical therapy clinics in San Diego and Evolve is by far the most professional. The people at the front desk are very courteous, helpful, and do a great job of texting several days ahead to notify patients of upcoming appointment dates and times.My physical therapist for the last year and a half has been Meghan Burris. She originally worked on a bad meniscus tear and more recently a torn rotator shoulder injury. Of all the therapists I've seen she's easily the best. Meghan has a great feel for increasing the degree of difficulty without overdoing it. She takes a personal interest in seeing progress in all of her patients. I highly recommend her.

When you come your only regret will be not coming sooner!I was referred to Rejuvenation Bodywork by a friend who has gone to Clark in the past. I had an issue with my hip and back due to an old accident that was coming back to haunt me. I could barely walk. He watched me walk and within 10 seconds he pretty much figured out the problem and knew what to do. After my first session I saw almost immediate pain relief and could walk better after a day. I have tried Chiropractors, Massage, Physical therapists and nothing has worked even close to as well as Clark's bodywork.While he is more expensive than a Swedish or deep tissue massage, I assure you it is worth the extra money. This is not a standard PT or massage. It's very apparent that Clark really enjoys his work and cares about his patients' best interest and wants you to be successful in your treatments. I cannot thank or recommend Clark @ Rejuvenation enough!Side note: the location is easy to find and has plenty of free parking.

Jarod at Lean on Me Acupuncture is The Best! I was at Mission Beach on vacation for a month with severe pain from a pinched nerve in my neck. Pain meds and exercises from my PT were not giving me any relief. With each visit my pain started to leave. Jarod is so professional and so talented in acupuncture treatment that he can really help! The whole office is a friendly relaxing experience.
Where do I start?
I was diagnosed with stage4 endometriosis with multiple ovarian cysts. Earlier this year I had a laparoscopy to remove it all, including my right ovary that didn’t make it.
Fast forward to my time at Sage Haven.
My pelvic floor PT recommended this place to aid my healing & fertility journey.
Despite being Endo free I still struggle with other symptoms.
I’m about past halfway through my 12wk treatment plan with Dr. Ella & it has been a great experience.
Conventional medicine doesn’t know much about women’s health. So many times has an OBGYN thrown birth control in my face and told me this was “the only way” to keep Endo away. But I’m glad at Sage Haven, Dr Ella has listened to my concerns carefully & thoughtfully. My symptoms can be treated without the pill! Especially because my husband and I are trying to conceive.
My cramps, constipation and sciatic pains have been fire-cupped & acupuncture’d every week. My anemia has also been addressed with Chinese medicine.
My body temperature has increased (I always run cold because of my anemia), period abdominal cramps went from 10/10 pain to 3/10 (if you have endo you understand this is significant), and my constipation is the next thing that is slowly coming in to routine movements.
I truly believe with consistency, the body can heal. And my journey continues.

Overall acupuncture was not for me. However, Fawsi and Rosita are extremely caring people and on top of that, very intelligent with what they do. When I found out acupuncture wasn’t helping my specific case, (genetic spine disorder, so I knew it was a long shot) they had no issue returning the money for sessions I was not going to use.
Very low pressure, very clean, very friendly.
Highly recommend for those in pain.
Dr Merritt is the absolute best. I was recommended to her highly from my surgeon and I can understand why. Dr. Uzi is magical. I hurt my back in the same spot that I hurt it 7 years ago and it took me four months to recover from my herniated disc. This was only my 2nd session with him in one week, and I have 90% mobility in my back. I am so surprised by my quick recovery, but at the same time, he took as long as I needed in sessions to feel better and even offered extra time with the acupuncture needles in my back, as well as healing tape. I was very skeptical because his prices were $20 or more over the normal prices, but now that I have almost completely healed my back in 1 week, I am never going anywhere else. I can now walk my dogs with ease this week, and that’s what makes me happy.
Eyton is a miracle worker, as so many others have noted too. I had forearm, bicep, and shoulder pain from weightlifting and swimming - and he did an amazing job over several sessions diagnosing and treating the exact spots. My bicep pain was particularly deep, and he got to my brachioradialis by looking in his textbooks exactly where to needle.
He also has a great sense of humor and really put me at ease throughout the therapy.
I will keep going back each time i overdo it on exercise (being nearly 50, and probably pushing a bit too hard).

I felt a little better after the first session, but the progress just built up over time as I trusted his plan. I now feel like I have a handle and control over it. I had the pleasure of visiting this incredible piece of heaven yesterday. The minute I walked into Nalu healing I immediately forgot the outside world. I had the pleasure of a 90 minute appointment with Jess. My facial was the best I've ever had. Jess is so experienced and skilled. I look forward to seeing her again. I also look forward to joining some of the other events that are held at Nalu. The music that they had playing was perfect! The whole atmosphere here is absolutely perfect. Even the bathroom, you actually feel like you're underwater in there. It was amazing. I love this place. And I know you would too.
Christina Bird provides fantastic service. She is incredibly knowledgeable and her sessions create measurable relief. I started going to Christina when I had neck pain and I was amazed at how I noticed specific change immediately. I now see her for nerve compression and she has helped create gradual symptom relief. Christina is a compassionate soul who is wonderful to know and she provides a beautiful, relaxing experience. I highly recommend her!
I really appreciate how attentive and hands-on she is. She explains my body’s mechanics in a way that helps me understand what’s going on and what each treatment is doing. She’s incredibly gentle with the needles too — I barely feel them. Every session feels personal, informative, and calming.

Beckham is a nice, friendly, patient instructor. He points out all of my errors and shows me a lot of useful and practical tips and techniques to improve. I took 4 lessons with him and passed. Highly recommend him!
Five Star Driving was fantastic! They had plenty of appointment, times and options available to accommodate our schedule. Sam always arrived ahead of the appointment time. Their response to messages was quick, even when I sent messages after hours. And the drivers training was Top-notch. Not only did my son become a much better driver, but he passed his driving test on the first time around with no errors on his test!

I took classes with Leonard 5 years ago in 2020 at 17 and I still think about how helpful he has been with my capability to drive. Leonard is a fantastic teacher and a lot of the things he's taught me has stuck with me and is embedded in my head while driving haha. I seriously cannot recommend this school enough, I mean here I am writing a review 5 years later! This is how impactful the lessons have been to me. After driving with others who haven't taken driving school courses you can truly see the difference in those who have and those who haven't. Leonard teaches so many valuable lessons so for those of you who are on the fence about choosing this school, as a former student myself I say this is your best choice 100%!

Thank you for the effective training to be able to pursue local construction trucking. Highly recommend School with instructors and teachers that have been in the industry that pour into the students with their experiences . Awesome experience learning curriculum and hands behind the wheel training to obtain CDL and endorsements with confidence. Awesome staff that work on campus also willing to meet anyone where there at to get to the next level.
Booked my sons first lesson, and it was really easy. It only costs $99.00. The total will be $297 for 6 hours. They did not ask for that amount upfront, which helps with my budget. I received an email with the receipt. Mark was very helpful in getting registered. He said they only require $99.00 for the first lesson. I believe 3 lessons for a total of 6 hrs is a great deal! I did my research. My son will be driving with Gilbert. There is no added fees unless you cancel with no advance notice or if you need them to pick up the student driver. My son is going to either walk or take an Uber to the school. There is no indication of insurance fees. They just said for my son to arrive and bring his permit. I'm looking forward to hearing how it all went with my son.
Ahmad is a great instructor. He made sure my extremely shy son felt comfortable and confident. He advised us on how to space out the lessons and what to work on. My son passed his driver's test with flying colors. I will recommend Ahmad to all of my son's non driving friends and I will be using him again in two years when my daughter starts to drive.
I just took the CMSP course September 23/24, 2024. My instructor was Charli and she was a really great instructor. She was funny but also she could be pretty "mean" (that one is for you Charli). This class definitely isn't for those who are sensitive and not coachable. If you can't take criticism and apply it to your riding then you will not pass. Instructors are 100% lookin out for everyone and our safety. I passed the test feeling confident, although i've been around motorcycles, dirt bikes, and mountain biking growing up, this course is very valuable for when you are a beginner rider. If you really want to ride you should put 100% of your effort and focus into this course if you want to pass. And it's the best $425 i spent this year. Shoutout to Charli for helping me grow and feel confident in my riding.
