I am not the leave a review type of gal but this review was needed because this hair salon was the best hair salon I’ve ever visit in all my years of living! I came in matted and thinking my hair was over and done with because it was horrible! I came in feeling sad, disappointed in myself, shame, embarrass, and feeling empty/not human! When the services was done I felt very beautiful, I kept looking at myself in the mirror, the stylist made me get butterflies ? when I seen my own self, she was patient, she didn’t judge, she would not let me keep putting myself down because of my hair and life choices. If you want a change in yourself please do yourself a favorite and start with this salon first. Best experience I’ve ever had in a hair salon! I am a forever client now!

I followed my stylist Sandy here. This is a really nice salon that looks like a lovely house on Germantown pike, which it probably was at one time! The whole downstairs is the salon now. It's got tons of parking in back of the house too. Everyone there is super friendly and it seems very popular. Sandy does a great job with my long layers and blonde highlights. Recommended !

I have always wanted a collar bone length hair but most of hair salons that I chose made my hair way too short that I expected.
Here, Catherine first measured and cut a bit of my hair to the right length and make sure that Im okay with it before a full hair cut. The length was exactly how I wanted, the wait time was very short.

I have gotten two haircuts by Carlos and I have been very happy with his work each time. Carlos takes the time to listen and makes very helpful suggestions. I love the symmetry of the haircut and it grows out beautifully as well. My hair has movement and volume which I was lacking. I feel very pretty with this haircut and the styling effort is minimal. Carlos is very talented.

I got my eyebrows microbladed by Allison last year, and when she moved salons I followed! I think they're still working on licensing for permanent makeup services, so I got my first lash lift and tint and ooooooooooooh my god was it amazing!!! Allison chatted with me the whole time and explained what was going on, and I love the way my lashes looked after!! I didn't use mascara for probably a whole month bc my lashes just looked that good! The salon itself was super cute and everyone was friendly with me and each other and super queer-friendly vibes (a must in salons imo) the only reason I haven't been back sooner is because I live in the suburbs and it's a little far from me to go regularly, but I thoroughly recommend checking this place out to get dolled up whenever you have a chance!

The girls here are so talented and sweet. I leave with perfect hair every time and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Sierra does my highlights, and she is a master at blonde.
My son is autistic and for over a decade it’s been a struggle just getting a haircut. Bud is awesome with my son my son now sits and chats with bud while getting a hair cut instead of crying and screaming! Bud is super patient and kind with Mikey and Mikey adores bud! Thank you very much bud!

Rob is incredible, I worked for him. Taught me a lot. His coworker however is incredibly unprofessional and drove me off, probably the other barbers too. That's why there's only Rob working now. It's a shame. He deserves better. What a classless person his coworker is. Disgusting. I only showed love and respect, and gifts.

I’ve been coming here now faithfully for over a year. The staff-Very Friendly, very willing to always help and go above and beyond, they make the atmosphere what it is! Everyone of them deserve credit for this place being so clean and friendly! I can’t rave enough about the staff. The owner of this place is very lucky to have such an amazing group of Dedicated young ladies! Beds are always clean and I absolutely love love love the red light therapy. Without a doubt, best nail salon I have ever been to. I have been looking for a salon that can do Japanese nail designs and this salon does them perfectly. Not only that, all of the basic manicuring services were on point. My old gel was filed off perfectly without damaging the nail bed, there was no pain at any point, and the manicuring was quick and efficient. This is the happiest I have ever been with my nails. I could not find a salon like this in San Francisco so I was really thrilled to find such a skilled salon in Philadelphia. I might fly back here just to get my nails done

Wow! Where do u begin.. I’ve been coming to Lotus since 2016 and I have yet to be disappointed. Sam, the owner and all the staff are extremely personable. They offer wine or bottled water as soon as you arrive for your appointment. Very calm and peaceful atmosphere to be serviced in. I appreciate all attention to details. I recently moved to the area and after a bad experience at another salon, I'm glad I found Periwinkle. Had a gel manicure and nails were perfectly shaped and gel is lasting almost three weeks. Everyone was super sweet and price was very reasonable. I will definitely be back!

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming and everyone was friendly. Deanna did my nails and she fixed them to perfection! Very professional, very knowledgeable and extremely thorough. I highly recommend this salon and from what I could see, everyone from the owner (whom was extremely nice and welcoming as well), to the other nail techs were ALL doing excellent “works of arts!” I’m definitely coming back & will be a repeat customer.

The entire staff is so welcoming. I was quite hesitant on what direction to go with but Marcos and Emily were very knowledgeable and helped me with picking the right color. I wanted something subtle that would still match my natural hair color. Nothing with too much maintenance. They understood the assignment! Keratin treatment really worked!! Bone straight hair for days - usually when I get a blowout I immediately throw it up in a bun, but with the treatment I have silky smooth hair that in comfortable wearing down. My stylist was also super sweet, nice and did a fantastic job. You can tell she cares about her craft! Much love, ladies!!
This was the first time I ever got my lashes done and I am obsessed!! I really wanted super natural looking lashes but as if I have mascara on- and Kelly killed it! She walked me through what style would look best with my face/eye shape, and was incredibly sweet during the entire appointment. Felt no burning, no discomfort, and it didn’t even feel like I had lashes on!

DON'T HESITATE TO BOOK!!! I had no idea that after strolling into CDR 3 years ago that I would be stumbling upon a forever thing. I have been to them all and I never ever want another aesthetician, CDR is the end all be all. Chrissy is beyond trained in SKIN, not products but SKIN. What I mean by that is, it literally does not matter what you look like, she will know what to do and how to treat your skin and that's only IF you're lucky to get an appt with her, but guess what ?!? The team at Follicles did an amazing job with hair/makeup for my mom, sister, and me for my wedding. The atmosphere at both my trial (which we did the day before the wedding) and for getting ready the day of really made it feel real and exciting. I was hoping that even though we were in the salon it would feel like the fun of just getting ready with your girlfriends, and it absolutely did. The environment was so friendly and welcoming, we truly had a blast.
The actual looks they delivered were also exactly what we wanted. I was a bit worried about how I would incorporate a family heirloom crown from my husband's side AND my veil into my hairstyle, especially since I wanted to be able to remove both post-ceremony. Lindsay made it work so beautifully. She helped guided my sister and mom on how to place and remove both elements.
Our other major concern was heat. It was in the high 90s and super humid, so I wasn't sure how anything would last. All of our hair and makeup stayed intact all day without touch ups.
Lastly, I was super grateful to the team for their flexibility. I had brought false lashes, but once I saw them on it felt like too much. Lindsay had totally prepared for the possibility I may want to switch them, and was able to just take them off and still make my eyes pop with other makeup. I think all three of us arrived feeling a little uncertain about our ideas for our hair since it was just so hot, but the team helped guide us and just made everything work. Huge thanks!

From the peaceful ambiance and positive vibes, my expectations were met and exceeded with individualized customer service. I received professional and attentive service but also education on the natural products being used and the techniques as well as the fundamentals of good skin care. Naj made recommendations and suggestions on effective skin care routines for my self care. I left with glowing skin and felt refreshed and rejuvenated. I booked my next session and plan to make UGA a part of my self care plan.

She has monthly specials, I went in May and after my treatment, my skin was literally glowing and felt so clean. I bought some home maintenance products, also on a promotion. I love this place. They have great customer service, great ambience, and good music. The staff is so friendly they also are very careful and don’t hurt you while waxing. The young lady at the front was able to help me with a face exfoliants from the skin care line and it left my face so soft and glowing love their products as well. The membership makes waxes affordable and you can get them once a month.

Vee is AMAZING! She takes such good care all while considering her excellent time management (wbib + full face in 20 mins). Ladies if you’re looking for a quick and minimal pain Brazilian wax, book here. I started going to Jensine when she was at European wax. I lost her when she left there, but I was able to find her again after looking for her nonstop. lol. She is very clean, pleasant, and precise. She is very nice and she isn’t awkward during visits. She is very open minded and I love our girl talks. She doesn’t even know, during some of the lowest points of my life, being able to vent with no judgement at my appts really helped me at that time. THATS MY GIRL !!! I’m not able to wax as much as before but she is my only go to when I do get waxed!

Super clean and professional, she did my eyebrows and really took her time, she even filled them in afterwards with a brow pencil to show me the shape better. there is candy, and a curtain for privacy even tho you're the only one in the studio, there's a tv so u can watch movies while u wait, very nice atmosphere and great service

I really enjoyed the space and my practitioner. The only notes that I would give is that they have “Reflexology” listed but it’s really just a foot massage. I think listing the services as a foot massage would be more accurate since reflexology really is its own thing.
I came to Victoria Roggio Beauty and I was so pleasantly surprised when I walked in. This place was beautiful! A warm, clean, inviting oasis in the city! I had an incredible massage from Rachel - unlike anything I have ever experienced. I then went back for a lymphatic drainage massage by Rachel again and I must say it was so dreamy. The most delicate work with such depth you could feel in your soul. I felt completely rejuvenated, nurtured and recharged after our session together. Thank you so much Rachel and I can't wait to come back to the Spa!
Have you ever wondered if there was a spa that fit you? One that wasn't all about the invasive gadgets and fillers? It's here! This was my first visit to Eviama. I've had a facial at another skin spa before, but it was nothing like this! The minute you take off your shoes, it's like you've come to a cheery place of your own. Everyone is so welcoming here, from the cooling herbal tea to the encouragement of taking your time for paperwork. Amari prepared a perfect room and table for me, complete with warming pads. The facial had so many gentle steps with beautiful aromatherapy built in with Dr. Hauschka products. I'm already a Hauschka lover/believer since they are so natural. It was one of the reasons I picked this spa. Amari has a soothing voice and explained things step-by-step, yet also allowed time for quiet. There were extra touches like the neck massage and gentle stroking of the feet and ankles to restore your body. Amari cares deeply for their work, and it shows through everything they do. There is no add-on here or shaming. This is a place where you are loved as you are. I'll be back. :) They have Alexa, so bring your music requests.
I had an awesome experience with Esther getting an hour long massage along with trying suction cups! They were super nice and very welcoming and made me feel much better about accidentally showing up 30 minutes early for an appointment haha. Will be back for sure!!

All around beyond 5 stars. Super relaxing, clean & amazing massage chairs. They pay attention to detail like the heart ice cube in the sangria glass. Can’t recommend this place enough no matter what package you go with. Definitely coming back for a date night soon. Thank you to Joseph for hooking it up for a relaxing atmosphere.

I had a deep tissue massage here with Lynn - she was great, and the spa itself was lovely! It’s hard to feel relaxed in the middle of the city but this place definitely does that. Can’t wait to come back!
