I had my daughter’s birthday dress altered here. They did an amazing job. A job where they had the job done correctly as my daughter envisioned it. I must say though, it is a little pricey because hubby stated that he could have bought her a new dress with that price, but in short amount of time to try and look for a new dress would not be ideal.
Where to start… My wife and I are first time parents who both work. We enrolled our little Yara at this daycare when she was about 12 weeks old, and we were both a nervous wreck. My wife initially toured the place and had a great feeling as it was close to where we lived at the time and very affordable. If my memory serves me right, we both went in on her first day to drop her off, and her daycare provider was Ms. Phyll. I’m telling you, she is heaven-sent. Her calm demeanor and the way she explained how our daughter would be cared for (and how we had nothing to worry about) immediately put us at ease. She was great about updating the app and always went above and beyond to watch over our little girl and keeping us up to date on everything. So thank you, Ms. Phyll.
NOTE TO DAYCARE: give her all the money she wants to stay (SERIOUSLY)! She truly deserves recognition.
The rest of the caregivers are also AMAZING. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about them or this daycare. We had such a wonderful experience with the staff and the entire program. Our daughter was there for about a year and a half before we moved out of the city, and we were genuinely sad to leave.
Our daughter was comfortable, well cared for, and made plenty of friends. My wife and I strongly recommend this daycare to any parents looking for a loving, reliable, and trustworthy place for their child.
I love this braiding shop and will be returning. The customer service was on point. She I walked in I was immediately greeted and was thanked for coming. I sat down right away and my service started. The shop was clean and chilled environment. I will be recommending them to everyone.
I am a teacher constantly getting sick from all of the classroom germs. I come here frequently and NEVER wait. Always in and out and prescribed with exactly what I need. They also always follow up after a couple of days to monitor progress which is very appreciated.
My child attended Grace for 2 years. She started off crying everyday. She eventually fell in love with the staff, even asking to go home with them. Everyone was very loving to my child. She is now in kindergarten and misses them dearly. The staff here are truly blessed. ❤️❤️
Let me tell you about this office. This is one of the best dentist office I’ve been too. The staffs here are very friendly. They make you feel comfortable. They’re knowledgeable and they look like they enjoy their work environment. Roxanne, I love her! She takes it into consideration that I am terrified of the needle. She is gentle and she tells you her process as she goes. I completely trust her and I would not go anywhere else. I would definitely recommend this dentist office!

Its been years since i had an official skincare regimen and it was refreshing to not be pressured to do a 10 step ritual and buy a whole mortgage payment of products. She assessed my skin and maintenance levels, suggested tweaks and changes to the service I had booked to increase benefits and keep me from peeling or feeling raw during pride weekend outdoors( the service adjustment DID NOT increase price point!)

Been coming to Vinnie’s for almost 4 years and even prouder to say I trust everyone there! I first connected with Erik through a local Facebook group so they became my go-to for straight razor head shaves, and on a few occasions when they were out of the shop, I had the privilege of being serviced by Vin. They’re also a fantastic training environment, as I volunteered myself to be the first ever head shave for their two newest barbers, Seth and Elias (who began as apprentices and worked their way up to being full-fledged barbers) and I excitedly anticipate being a model for their current apprentice, Cali! Super affirming atmosphere and they treat everyone like family. Working on becoming a weekly regular!

I’ve been going to Selvin and I can honestly say this is one of the best barbershop experiences I’ve had. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed. Selvin made sure I was comfortable, even offering me water, which shows the level of care and hospitality they have.
The entire staff is friendly and respectful. It’s not one of those places where you feel like an outsider. They actually take the time to acknowledge you, say hello, and create a great atmosphere. Even people just stopping in are greeted warmly. You can tell this shop takes pride in how they treat people.
And honestly, the vibe is just great they even have a cat there, which adds to how unique and relaxed the place feels.

I came in to buy a grave before shave product they carry but found out that are cash only so we t to grab some food came back to let them know I was still going to get cash and come back. They were very nice . I ate outside at one of their Little outside tables and they even offered me a cold beverage. I felt welcomed. I did finally make it back to make the purchase and again everyone was super nice. I didn't get my haircut but this a nice little barbershop with good people. I recommend them. Thank you.
Didn’t know what to expect when I came here but it exceeded all expectations. You gotta interact with the system on the front door to get in. However, he gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had in Philly. I was worried he wouldn't be able to do the top justice as a barber (most can’t) but he did great!
This was my first spray tan and my technician Julia was super helpful throughout the whole process. I felt very comfortable and confident that my spray tan would turn out well because of how professional she was. It's now the day after my appointment and I'm very satisfied with results. Amazing experience! Angelina made my experience wonderful. She suggested I get the deluxe/elite tan and I was pleasantly surprised. It felt like I was laying on a tropical beach, the music, mist, wind, and aromatherapy were all amazing touches. The tanning bed area itself was extremely clean and the staff was helpful and informative. This was my first time using a tanning bed, and it won’t be my last! I will be back for sure :)

I’ve really liked my spray tans from this place. I just went in for my second visit and the Associate was very friendly and helpful. The tans don’t seem to get spotty for about a week which is great compared with others I’ve tried.
Can’t imagine how there could possibly be any negative reviews for this location. My daughter got her first spray tan last week and absolutely loves it! The three girls working were super welcoming, and made her feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. Definitely will be returning in the future.
I have been going to PeCa’Le for months (I get hard gel) and every time I go, I leave so satisfied and happy! They have a wide range of great polishes. Any tech you get there is incredible and talented. They are so meticulous and always make sure to ask you questions. I recommend you book an appointment online since they can get booked pretty quickly! So happy to have found a great salon in my neighborhood!

Absolutely LOVE my lashes! It was my first time ever getting a lash lift and Jasmin was so clearly communicative, kind, and made sure I was understanding of the process. I got a Korean Lash Lift. The process was pain free and relaxing. When she showed me the mirror at the end I had the biggest smile on my face. My lashes looked so naturally lifted. I couldn’t be happier with my service! Next session I’m hoping to try the brown tint!

It leaves my very sensitive skin refreshed, protected… and just holistically fed. The vitamin C serum is legitimately sunshine in a bottle. I had the best most relaxing experience at Spa Hygge!! I had gotten a gift card for Christmas and redeemed it for a 60 minute classical facial. On the booking, you can mark if you want the facial to be educational or not speaking, which I appreciated! The space is beautifully decorated and located in such a cute area in old city. They have a parking lot and the entrance to the actual spa is tucked away so it’s like a little getaway in Philly! I love getting my lashes done here. I went to a few places nd every time i got them done they felt heavy. But i don’t know wht magic Zoey does i i always walk out with my lashes feeling light nd done. I showed anime lashes inspo she did it exactly like the picture!! I noticed a small leak on the old pipe attached to my new water heater (which was also installed by Plumbing Pals). I called and they were able to send out someone quickly. Anthony & John came out today and were courteous and professional. I was probably annoying them because we had JUST replaced the basement floors the night before and I REALLY was worried about getting water on the floor. However, they we very understanding and receptive to my concerns. They fixed the pipe quickly and were in&out in no time at all. Very satisfied with their work & will continue to call for my plumbing needs.

Had an emergency plumbing job done. First i called roto rooter and got the runaround. I called Goodman plumbing next and within a week my issue was solved in a procession manner at a great price.
Zac and Brandon not only fixed the issue, but several other smaller issues that were needed and cleaned up the space afterwards. The space actually looked cleaner than when they left. It’s nice to have people that are obviously good at their job, go above and beyond, and put care into their work.
They truly went above and beyond the call and i will 100% be using Goodman plumbing from here on out, I’ll also be requesting Zac and Brandon as they also were very kind to my extremely old cat, taking little moments to pet him as they passed by. It’s things like this that make me confident that i can put my trust in this company.

We were getting water into our breaker box, and Eric came out at 9pm on a Saturday night to check it out and set up time to replace the box and fix the issue for the next day.
They had 2 guys out there the next day and had everything taken care of within about 6 hours.
They had to cut out part of the wall around the breaker box, but they mudded it up and cleaned up well after themselves!
Both of them were kind and competent. They took time to explain what was going on and even though it was an emergency, they didn’t charge emergency rates.
I would highly recommend them!

They did a great job. All I needed was my fob key cut; I called one day and they said a technician would call the next day to schedule an appointment for me to come in. Sure enough I did get a call in the morning and was able to head over. Within no more than 15 minutes the technician was done cutting the key. What I appreciated most is that he did make sure I used the new key before leaving. He wanted to make sure it was able to both lock and unlock the car door; so glad he took the time to see the job all the way through. Efficient service.

Our cleaners came on time and did a good job on the bathrooms and kitchen, including cleaning our fridge and freezer. They also put a nice finishing touch on each room by organizing pillows, bows on towels and toilet paper, etc. Taking off one star because I had to point out some missed spots (dusty blinds and window sills, spots on mirrors) for them to circle back to.

Dirty Deedz really came through for us again! We had our furnaced cleaned and they reported it needing to be replaced. Rob got back to us within a couple hours with a quote for replacement that was reasonably priced and less than other quotes received. He was able to perform the replacement within two days and the heat was back just in time before the temps dropped.

Helped a family member choose a floor refinisher. He did not choose Keystone, though I voiced my opinion that I thought he'd be the best one. Alas, his estimate was the highest, so that was a factor. Jay and team have been absolutely amazing. From day 1, Jay assured me that his team does only one project at a time, and you will see the same key team members six days a week. This was true everyday for the six weeks of the project which was supposed to take eight weeks. It is unheard of in construction to have such flawless coordination and completion ahead of time. Jay was an amazing thought partner who helped us think through a new layout for our master bath, kitchen, mudroom, and master closets. Jay and his team have completed transformed our home - highly recommend!

We contacted John for help on a bathroom remodel, which included removal of a jetted tub, sealing off the plumbing, and installing a spacious closet in its place, as well as a new double vanity, sinks, and granite countertop. We quickly developed a great rapport with John and his sidekick Bill, who have done literally hundreds of projects together over the years. They were a delight to work with. The bulk of the work was completed while my wife and I were literally on the other side of the earth, but John kept us informed with updates and photos. We returned to find a spectacular finished product. John keeps a super-clean worksite and the workmanship was top-notch. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again for another project or recommend him to others (in fact, we already have!).

I truly can't say enough good things about this company! Really quick response time, very caring staff, and impeccable craftsmanship. They were always upfront about where they saw issues in our home and checked in later in the month to make sure everything was still ship shape. A bit more detail about what we had done - Our house had some sort of pest in the ceiling that was driving our cats and dog crazy. We had an exterminator come, but he was useless, saying that we would have to wait for the vermin to die in the ceiling and to let the smell dissipate once it died. :/ Thankfully, we then called Mike. He agreed that the exterminator's plan was not optimal, and, after discussing options, he cut a hole in the ceiling to install a humane trap and put a cover over the hole that looks like it had always been in the house. He checked all places a rodent could get in, literally from the roof to the foundation, and patched all holes. There was flashing that was peeling off around our roof that he fixed, and huge holes in our basement that led to the backyard, as well as our hoarder neighbor's house. Mike and his crew worked around my hectic schedule, came within 24 hours to set up traps, and removed anything that was caught. It is apparent how much Mike and Evolution care about their customers, and we are grateful to have people we can trust in our home. Thanks to their efforts, our home is now pest free!

M&D Landscaping was quick to give a quote and complete the initial job which included weeding, mulching, mowing and edging. They did a fantastic job. After providing payment for the first session, we agreed to a price and schedule for biweekly lawn service for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, despite multiple calls, texts and voicemails I have not been able to get in touch with anyone from M&D landscaping since (over the past three weeks). I am quite disappointed because I would have preferred to stick with M&D landscaping for my landscaping needs.

Poor communication. Over promise and under deliver. I contracted with Philadelphia Gardens to complete a small front garden for an investment property in Grad Hospital area. My initial contact was early spring 2025 with the hope of having the project completed prior to the heat of the summer. After our initial consultation, I waited weeks for a plan (following up with them often, as they stated it would not take long to complete such a small design). By the time planting occurred we were into the summer heat, thus, at their suggestion, I paid extra for an irrigation system to be installed. There was an issue with the installation which was never communicated to me, so a few weeks passed without proper watering. Several plants did not survive, and Philadelphia Gardens wanted to charge me for replacements. I am a 30 year home owner who has completed several landscaping projects, all of which had warranty's on the plants. Philadelphia Gardens is the first organization I have encountered that does not stand behind the work they performed.
Update:
I have adjusted my review based on recent corrective action taken by Philadelphia Gardens following my initial review. Philadelphia Gardens has replaced the plants that did not make it through the first season, and performed complementary bed maintenance while on site. However, I could not go to five stars, as I do not believe it should take a negative review to engender their corrective actions.

As a first time home owner, I was looking for tree removal for the very first time. I had 3 consults with 3 different popular local tree businesses, and I knew without a doubt I'd be moving forward with Mark. I don't know if it was because I mentioned I was a new home owner/expressed how little I knew about this type of work, but I was quoted more than 10k more for less from the other businesses - it wasn't just the pricing that made us choose Mark for the work but his responsiveness, flexibility and overall knowledge of his craft - he loves his work and the results are flawless. They removed a massive black locust and an even bigger Norway Maple from our yard in 2 days - and the crew had to do this all manually due to the location. The efficiency was impressive and not expected. Something that really stuck with me is when I reached out to Mark on the Sunday evening before their last session, as I realized I didn't have anything on hand to save parking spaces. Not only did Mark respond immediately, but he delivered them to me that same night instead of having me pick them up. I really can't recommend Mark and his crew enough - they've gained a loyal customer for life!

Having hated going to the dentist my whole life, and this being my first dentist since moving to Philadelphia, I was a little wary about my appointment with Dr. Gardner. Immediately, he put me at ease when he personally met me at the front door, and I recognized his personable demeanor. His office is cozy, with a single room for him to work in, but he has all the technology you'll need for your appointments right there. He is extremely easy to talk to, makes you feel comfortable and at home the minute you walk in the door, and he did a wonderful job of teaching me as he was going. I've never had a simple cleaning where my dentist took the time to pull out pictures and teach me about the importance of dental hygiene as Dr. Gardner did. I was extremely pleased with my time here and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist in the Philadelphia area!

I took my son here for the first time today. We have always seen army doctors and have never had a good experience. This was the best experience I have ever had. The front staff was really welcoming nice and the nurse/medical assistant that brought me back was extremely nice and caring. We saw Dr. Hayes and she was amazing. I would recommended her to anyone. ActiveCare is a great practice. They take good care of you. I have been using this office about 6 years. My adjustments always go well and the massage therapy sessions with Terica are excellent. I have no real complaints aside from doctors changing every couple years. I will be on my 4th chiropractor by the time I have my next appointment. But at least each new specialist has been good.
Dr. Damien is the best in the city! I was drawn to his place when I first visited the city but never tried him out. I went through 2 other decent chiros in the city and wasn't getting the relief I needed. So many practices were based on car accidents and my introduction to chiropractic was always about total wellness, which I didn't expect to be difficult to find here. Thanks to a recommendation of a perfect stranger at a Mt. Airy event, I found my eay back to where I should have started I have been blessed and grateful ever since. Cheers to 20yrs and many more! Dr. Aldermaleck performed my 1st mohs surgery in my right temple in 2008, I felt like I mattered, I was cared for. Dr. Aldermaleck and his staff were phenomenal from saving my hair prior to shaving the surgical site and the reconstruction so the incision wasn’t that visible; its close to my right ear and behind it so good that you barely know it’s there unless my hair parts. I still talk about Dr. Aldermaleck as if it were yesterday, he is truly the BEST and I’m grateful. Thank you.

Dr. Bu is insightful, a wealth of knowledge, and has navigated complex cases with care, compassion and a deep willingness to collaborate to serve the best interest of her clients.
Always a good experience here. You can schedule without having to wait for weeks, appointments run on time, they really care about your pet, and everyone - from vets to techs to reception - is friendly and totally on top of things. Prices seem in line with other vet/grooming services in center city
I was referred to Indy by another satisfied customer. They were so patient while listening to all my concerns and questions. I was so nervous about making a decision for PU surgery and I felt very heard, understood and empathized with. I feel I am making a reasonable decision to hold off on surgery, based on my cats behavior and history. I genuinely felt the vet wanted what's best for my cat. All my questions were patiently answered, I didn't feel rushed at all. The waiting room is clean and quiet. I look forward to continuing my cat's care at Indy Vet. I recommend Indy Vet because they completely understood where I was coming from and listened patiently as I discussed my cat's history. They did not push unneeded tests. The cost of the appointment was very affordable.

I love how welcoming the team is. From the very first visit, I felt at home—especially when they put my kitten’s name on the welcome board the day of her first appointment. The team was there for me during an incredibly difficult time, remaining open, compassionate, and available while my cat was ill and even after her passing. Their support meant so much to me. I continue to bring my pets here because of the genuine care they show.
My cat Oreo is so well behaved when she goes to City Cat Vets, it says a lot about how good they are with her. She's usually anxious and hiding or hissing at people but she's so mellow with them and they're just amazing with her. I would highly recommend them!

Dr. Denish was my pet ball pythons only vet from when he was 11 to when he passed away at 32. He was very helpful when my snake had temporary periods of not eating. Overall I highly recommend this facility and especially Dr. Denish for reptile needs. Not many vets know how to treat snakes, and Dr. Denish is great and knowledgeable.

Leaving this review because we are previous clients of The Pet Mechanic (we only switched vets because we moved house and I don't have a car to get to Fishtown) and we miss them dearly! Our experience with our new vet does not compare to our experiences with The Pet Mechanic. Excellent pet care and transparency from all staff and I was always able to get my pets booked in to be seen within a reasonable timeframe. Wish we could switch back to them!

I felt very listened to, and also very informed as Dr. Burbano took the time to explain everything that was going on, as well as a range of options going forward. Also to note- the Dr actually got on the floor with my pup and did a nose to tail exam, something my former vet never did.
They were very up front about pricing for everything, and were very understanding of my needs.
Both receptionists, as well as the tech who took care of us (I regrettably forget her name!) were all very polite & informative. I would highly recommend NoLibs Vet & also Dr Burbano to any one looking for a new vet!

Wonderful! Got sent great pictures of my dogs first day and a report card! I loved everything. And so did the puppy! They even do some training Brick gets the behavioral management add on when he goes for his half days (for puppies) and it works!

We have boarded our dog with others over the years, but through a recommendation of a friend we booked with Green Street Animal Care and have been thoroughly satisfied. They are our number one choice when it comes to animal care and boarding for our dog, they take the stress and worry away, went on vacation, and our dog needs to be boarded and she loves it there. It is her second home.
I was visiting the area for a couple months and the team at Groom and Board has been wonderful. I have a very, very small dog and had no concerns about his safety in their care. They were beyond accommodating. I look forward to coming back and visiting them again soon. I highly recommend!

My dog Bowser is super nervous, but they took such great care of him during his nail trimming that it all went so smoothly. It took just a few minutes and his nails have never looked better! I'm so happy to have found a neighborhood spot with such kind people and reasonable prices.

I have practiced yoga all across the country and three queens is by far my favorite studio ever! Mariel’s Sunday classes were a must for me every week, also loved Alex, Anisha, Larry…the list goes on. It’s such a rare combination of really thoughtful alignment based practice with accessible integration of yoga traditions. I’ve brought dozens of guests here of all ages and abilities and everyone has loved it. Also have awesome retreat/ immersion/ workshop offerings. And a beautiful space. Cannot rave enough about this studio, will miss it dearly ! Thank you three queens!

I tried a couple yoga studios in Northern Liberties and ultimately landed on Tula because it had such a warm, welcoming feel and a variety of classes. I have been attending regularly (3-4 x a week) for the past couple months and cannot recommend it enough. If you go there, make sure you check out Teagan's classes which will make you feel incredible after and Judy's yoga sculpt which will have you SWEATING.
Another cute plus is their adorable swag (I think it's half my wardrobe at this point).

I took a non-traditional class (working to release muscle tension using balls, like tennis balls) at Blue Banyan. It was an exploration for me and I was impressed with what I was able to accomplish, how supportive the instructor was and the engagement of my classmates. I can't speak for all the classes, but the sense of community and support was really great.
If you can go to the 6:30 pm gentle yoga on Sundays with Anna, go! It’s the perfect way to start the week. I let go of so much stress.

Had my first massage with Mamapalo yesterday, and she was great! I came in with a lot of tightness and tension in my low back, along with some workout soreness in the shoulders. I left feeling light and flexible again. She listened to my concerns and communicated clearly throughout the massage. Highly recommend.
Sadly, despite the benefits I felt from the Iyengar class I took here, I would not go back for Iyengar due to the instructor's style which I found demotivating and demoralizing. But this co-op offers a variety of other styles of yoga also. It's nice that the community can support alternatives for both students and teachers. So, while I would not go back for the Iyengar, I would definitely consider taking classes of other styles yere.

My girlfriends and I tried something new for the first time, and it was absolutely the bomb! The instructor at Amrita Yoga & Wellness was amazing and made the experience so welcoming and enjoyable. We laughed, stretched, and left feeling refreshed. I can’t wait to come back for another class!
I returned to yoga after a 4-year break and I am very glad that I chose Maha Yoga to resume my regular yoga classes. Love the coziness of the studio and overall ambience. What I value most about the classes is that even though a flow may be physically demanding, the teachers always provide various options for different fitness levels and keep focus on harmonization of body and mind which is a very true yoga thing. Compared to the studios that turn yoga into a workout aimed at athleticism, Maha is truly a breath of fresh air.

I've been practicing here for a little over 4 years. It's a sacred spot on the 3rd floor of a jewelers row walk up in center city Philadelphia. Elizabeth is a stellar teacher! Gentle, disciplined, intuitive, caring, very knowledgeable about the mechanics of the human body...she leads by example and is an incredibly authentic teacher. I've been taught at a pace that has allowed me to embed asana practice into my life routine. The community here is supportive and respectful- there is no sense of competition, no gossip, no favorites. There is a special reverence to this shala. One that is created by humility and a recognition that progress is an ongoing process.
Tammy and Hannah are the best! Extremely easy to work with and very knowledgeable about all things Pilates. I would definitely recommend!
This was my first time taking Daryn’s class-it was awesome! I like her style of teaching, great flow to the class, clear instruction, nice hands-on adjustments and very motivating. The class was very challenging. Will definitely sign up for more with her.

I absolutely love solidcore, and this is my home studio. Take classes with Alex, Julia G, Christian, Liz or Kayla! You’ll get your ass whooped in a good way. My only gripe here is that the AC is not always working as well as it could and solidcore should nottttttt feel like a heated workout class. Believe me, you’ll be working hard enough. I find that the majority of time the temperature is fine though. If you’re sensitive to heat during workouts like I am, just stock up on extra water or even a little neck fan and you’ll be good.

Instructor: (Meghan Gallagher) 100/10 | she was really nice and super thorough with her explanations. Very good energy. I liked when she made us do the exercises she simulated a class like lower lights and did the counting
Class: 8/10 | I went to the starter 50 which I am happy I did. The class itself was obviously a lot of listening and watching but I feel like I have a good grasp of the reformer now.
Workout: 10/10 even though we didn’t do a full workout the moves I did do BURNED especially the core portion.
The best spot for Traditional Chinese Medical Massage ! I’ve been coming for almost two years and it has helped me tremendously with sinus issues, back issues and digestion. TCM really works! Eva is the best - a true healer

I’ve been seeing Abby for a couple of years now and feel so lucky to have her in our neighborhood. She’s incredibly talented and takes the time to really understand what’s going on with your body. I have been coming to Frank for years per a friends recommendation and I’m glad because every time I choose to cut out time for my wellbeing its totally worth it. Frank is a professional and creates a calm welcoming environment for massage therapy and talks me through my issues any wellness goals. He observes my posture and points out how Im holding my body affects the pain or discomfort Im feeling. Of course the massage is relaxing and also productive which can make my body feel incognito but that means work is being done to correct imbalances or bring relief to areas that are overworked.

Oksana does the best prenatal massage, I cannot tell you what a life-saver she has been to me! I got a prenatal massage at another nearby spa months ago and it was not at all worth the money. I am so thankful another Fishtown mom recommended The Chair Massage studio to me. They do have a table massage despite the name and all of the best pillows and bolsters so that you can actually be on your stomach, if you want, with a hole cutout for the belly. I scheduled once a month for the rest of my pregnancy and I’m also getting my husband a gift card for Father’s Day because everyone should experience the incredible relief of her massages. Oksana is willing to give consistent heavy, deep pressure if you need it, and not a single spot missed. She gets into hips, thighs, and all the trigger areas of pregnancy to leave you feeling completely loosened up and lighter when you leave. I won’t go anywhere else!

I cannot recommend Restore enough! A few weeks postpartum, I started pelvic floor physical therapy with Gabby at the Manayunk location. She has been amazing and helped me resolve postpartum symptoms with my pelvic floor, while also helping me to build strength throughout my body. The mobility work Gabby has done with me has been a game changer for me so that I can hold my child with minimal straining on my back. The workouts have also been super beneficial for me to gradually get back into shape. Candace is also great and has been a big help to get proper documentation for me to submit to my insurance company. The team at Restore is the best!

I had a great experience as a patient here. I came in with bad shoulder pain that I'd been living with for too long. My pain and concerns were listened to and my shoulder was thoroughly evaluated. I was feeling better after every new appointment. After months of trying to alleviate the pain at home on my own, it only took a few sessions for me to see substantial results, and now I'm pain free for the first time in months. Everyone who works at this practice is incredibly professional, has great bedside manner, very welcoming and really gets to know the patients. I couldn't recommend any other physical therapist!

I can’t recommend pelvic floor therapy with Rhythm enough! It helped me so much throughout pregnancy and postpartum. During pregnancy, it made a huge difference in managing my pelvic pain, performing proper perineal massages, and taught me how to properly breathe and push during labor. Because of what I learned, I only pushed for 30 minutes and didn’t tear during delivery which allowed for safe and pleasant birth. Now postpartum, it’s helping me safely rebuild my pelvic floor strength and recover more quickly. I’m so grateful I did it and would highly recommend it to any expecting or postpartum mom.

Christopher Hudson is truly an incredible acupuncturist and now someone I would call a friend. A few weeks ago I found myself desperate for a solution to my chronic stress and muscle pain. I am in my 4th year of dental school, and the stress and physical demand of the work has taken a massive toll on my body. Finally, someone suggested that I would benefit from acupuncture, so I found myself searching high and low for a reputable provider that could see me ASAP.
I read tons of reviews and then reached out to multiple different acupuncture providers, yet Chris was the only one to return my call himself, not to mention it was within the hour. He provided a warm, personal and informative introduction to the practice of acupuncture. Chris’s vast knowledge, experience and easy going personality was what convinced me to choose Rittenhouse acupuncture for my first experience with the craft. I was scheduled for the very next day.
To say my life is forever changed feels like an understatement - but it’s the truth. I have since completed 5 sessions with Chris, and each time experienced improvement with muscles that have been bothering me for years. Additionally, my Oura ring health tracker has shown significant improvements on my heart rate variability, a vital metric that is measured over a 2 week period of time and compared to your 3 month average and is used to determine how well your heart can adapt to strain/balance. The higher the number the better, and I have had HRV measurements higher than ever before.
Lastly, I don’t think I could say how amazing my body’s response to acupuncture has been and not attribute significant credit to Chris himself. Not only does he conduct strictly one on one sessions with every client, but he takes the TIME to listen to absolutely EVERYTHING you have to say on your life, health, things affecting you, truly no detail is too small and he cares and considers it all. His laid back demeanor is instantly calming, and he is flexible and understanding making the experience stress reducing in every way possible. HE is worth the investment. I love Wong Acupuncture Center. It’s a modest place, and Dr. Shu Kyi Ide is quiet and unassuming, but she is truly gifted at what she does. I had been dealing with severe pregnancy-related symptoms and had tried everything my Penn doctors, family, and friends suggested, but nothing brought real relief. After just one session with Shu, I felt better than I thought possible. I was so grateful—and honestly a bit amazed—by how much of a difference it made. I now plan to see her regularly, because if one session brought that much relief, I’m eager to see how I’ll feel with ongoing care. Her pricing is fair, it’s easy to get an appointment, and I’m so thankful to have found her.
