“Umbrella Roofing is the poster business for customer service. Ed provided a thorough and comprehensive review of the issues with our roof including some root causes of the issues. He provided pictures and took the time to give explanations and education of basic roof installation. Although his estimate for the repairs was more than another estimate, the repairs were more comprehensive to resolve the immediate issues and position us to have the roof last. Umbrella Roofing also set us up to have the regular maintenance done to ensure the roof lasts and meets the performance expectations. Our roof was supposed to be a brand new roof so we did not except to have leaks or have a major repair less than 2 years after having the new roof was installed. Umbrella's entire team is great! Jessica in the front office actually answers the phone and returns phone calls. If there are questions she gets answers. The Project Manager Melvin is also great at communicating with customers and making sure the job gets done and done right. The installation team was efficient and did great work. Of course Ed came to ensure everything was completed and completed correctly in the scope of work. He showed pictures of the completed work. The great thing about Umbrella Roofing is they provide a cost estimate that documents all the work they will perform and answer any and all questions. You also get before and after pictures as well as pictures of the work as it was being done. I highly recommend Umbrella Roofing without reservation! Their prices are very reasonable and their customer service is awesome!“

“I had Nick and team do my roof this month and they did a fabulous job.I called several places for an estimate, and it was a lot of phone tag with their offices. When I called Expert Roofing & Home Improvements, I spoke to Nick on the phone, and he's the one that came out the next day. He gave me two quotes -- one to do the equivalent of what the other companies had suggested, but at about 20% less; or to do a more extensive roof replacement which was actually what I was really looking for but thought would be too cost prohibitive. To my surprise, Nick's price worked with my budget.Nick and his crew were on top of my roof for two days. They were hardworking and respectful, and got the job down quickly. Nick sent me pictures of the process throughout so I was aware of their progress. I'm a bit of a stickler about my sidewalk, so I went out after they were done to sweep up leftover debris, and found that the entire area was cleared. They are a rare family business.John and his coworkers have done every possible repair for my home in Center City Philadelphia, my photography studio, and our little boutique hotel on eighth Street. Repairing the roof on the boutique hotel was the hardest job they ever did. But they had to do it right so they took off seven layers of roofing down to the original rafters from 1787! A new roof was put down with new historically certified shingles. They always do it right. They get permits. They make a difference. And they find solutions.
