“I had a good (not great) first experience yesterday. I had booked an appointment the previous week and arrived early but they were running a half hour late. A courtesy call would have been nice. I got my first acrylic set 3 weeks ago so I don’t know what a refill experience is supposed to be like but I’ve noticed that my nail beds are a little sore and the surface looks chunkier than the original.
I chose a blue cat eye but unfortunately it looks grayer than the display. See photo. There’s not many cat eye options. I told them I have brittle nails and I’m afraid the tech filed too much. The pedicures looked great though.“

“Overall, I had a pleasant experience at the salon; however, I need to note that the pricing felt unclear. The experience could be improved with more transparency.

I received an acrylic fill with gel polish and a trim down. On the website, the only pricing I could find was that a fill costs $35. I assumed a trim would be around $10–$15.

When it came time to pay, my total was $65. While this isn’t outrageous, it was not what was posted online—there was no information about trim or gel polish pricing. When I asked about the charge, I was told it included the acrylic fill, gel polish, and trim. I have never been charged separately for gel polish when getting a fill at other salons, so I was a bit surprised.

Again, I don’t consider the price excessive, but clearer pricing transparency would make the overall experience much better. I highly recommend calling ahead, explaining what you want, and verifying the price before your appointment.
