“I'm an amateur drummer taking lessons from Rob for 2.5 years. My playing has improved tremendously in that time in large part from Rob's instruction. He is an experienced and patient teacher of fundamentals, songs, and flourishes. He points out inconsistencies in technique, dynamics, and timing -- and recommends practice exercises for improvement. Many exercises come from dozens of custom music sheets he hands out for learning different theory, time signatures and styles of drumming including rock, funk, Latin, reggae, jazz, etc. He is flexible and responsive with lesson scheduling and charges reasonable prices.
