So thrilled with the outcome. I finally found a colorist who understands what I'm looking for (not easy for a blonde! ;-) )“

“I was lucky to have Jackie and Becca for my hair and makeup. I did my trial with them as well and they were attentive and gave suggestions and did a wonderful job. On my wedding day I asked for some changes and they were supportive and CRUSHED what I was asking for. I don’t wear a lot of make up day to day but I wanted to enhance my features and Jackie did that and more! Becca is phenomenal with hair! We changed my hair from my trial and she knew my vision exactly! Becca even real quick fit my mom in who had a hair crisis and she made my mom look and feel beautiful! Both Jackie and Becca listened to me throughout the morning and executed perfectly. All of my girls looked and felt stunning with their hair and makeup and that was the best feeling as the bride to have my bridesmaids feel stunning too! If you’re in the Philly area you have to book with them. They are why I felt so beautiful on my big day!“

“I had a great experience getting a color correction here. At another salon, my hair was dyed way too dark with a toner, and a friend of mine recommended to get it fixed at Subculture. The staff was great with me on the phone about making an appointment, requesting photos of what my hair looked like, and doing a consultation to make sure we they knew what I needed for the appointment. My stylist Mark was very clear about what to expect, and explained the process well. He also got me a cup of coffee while I waited under the dryer, which was very kind. Most importantly, he got all of the dark brown out of my hair and restored me back to a blonde! I was really surprised at how successful he was, I thought that the brunette gloss would be much harder to get out. Overall a 10/10! And very reasonably priced too. “I had Gino as my stylist and he was awesome. I told him I wasn't sure but had gotten suggestions and he looked at my hair and texture and said none of those suggestion would really work . So he made another suggestion and I am so glad he didn't do what most hair stylist do and use a cut that was not flattering. My new cut is just what I wanted , Easy to care for, lets my waves shine, and low maintenance Absolutely love my hair now! Thank you Gino

Came back for color and highlights. Gino is awesome!!!! He totally understands what I want and what looks good , He knows I don't blow dry my hair and want a natural color. He absolutely nailed both . I am so glad I found this stylist and this salon.

We had a trial and she was patient with me as I talked through my wishes, concerns for my very sensitive skin, and nervousness given i don't know make up very well. She eased all of my concerns, explained her thoughts and her products to me, and listened to me if certain aspects didn't look the way I imagined. Day of the wedding, she came in with a clear plan and vision building upon what we had done at the trial and everything was PERFECT. I love the way she did my hair and I’m obsessed with the final look. For context I have long but thin dull hair and Michelle manage to work her magic and make it look full, bouncy, and shiny!! I went in not exactly know how much to cut or what works best for my hair and she helped me out! Price was super reasonable for the work and result I got. Will be going back🤗“

Emily even took extra time and restyled my hair because the first time didn’t come out like she wanted (I was happy with the first) - this just shows how much she cares and wants to do a great job (which she did!) “I have always worried that the foundation will settle between my fine lines and wrinkles. Alena's make up artistry didn't do that. My make up stayed great from 0930am until after the party, 700pm. It looked smooth and flawless all throughout the day. My lips looked like I had botox, lol, which was great. My friends kept on praising my eyebrows. They thought I had microwaving.

Awilda does my blowouts and I have never met a stylist who can blow out in so many different styles without using secondary heat application (ie; curling iron, flat iron, etc).
