I’m a reasoning and facts based learner, so I was nervous to receive lessons for something most people say they just “get”. Fortunately, through Ken’s explanations and even demonstrations, I was able to grasp driving safely without feeling too much overwhelmed.
I avoided driving for almost two years, which I now regret. I was extremely scared to drive or even start the process by booking a driving lesson just like many others. Once I realized the normalcy of feeling scared or having anxiety during this process and how beneficial it would be for me I decided to atleast try. At the first driving lesson I was met with a very calm, confident, and reassuring instructor. This instructor, Sal, continued to build my confidence without my knowledge, and ultimately prepared me to pass my drivers license test. Before my test he made sure I was prepared and ultimately helped me get my drivers license on my first attempt.
What stood out most was how organized they are. Every lesson started on time, and I never had to deal with last-minute changes or confusion about scheduling.
The instructions were always clear and easy to follow. My instructor explained everything step by step, whether it was [parking, highway driving, lane changes, etc.], and made sure I understood the details before moving on. I felt more confident behind the wheel after every lesson.
They also made the licensing process simple. Instead of figuring it out on my own, they guided me through what I needed and helped me feel prepared for the test, and I passed [on my first try]
