Last Tuesday my pup had surgery to remove a benign tumor at his primary care. That went fine but then Thursday rolls around and he decides to go bananas. The lack of walks and sedation fully wearing off made him into a wild dog. Running back and forth. So much so that it ripped his stitches out. So we're sitting on the couch at about 10pm and see there is blood puddling under his leg. Like any good dog parents we freak out. Normally we would do PenVet but for some reason we called the primaries number after hours. That's how we got directed to VEG. We spoke with the receptionist there and she said bring him on in. There are no words to describe how amazing these people are! We thought our dog was choking and rushed her over on a nasty, rainy night. They were so kind and got us right in. I can't say enough hreat things about VEG!! My little Tito was really sick on Saturday of Christmas weekend. I attempted to go to an 24 hour animal hosp close to where I live, but left there after waiting an hour and a half and then was then told he wouldn't be seen for 5-6 hours!!! I then called VEG and they told me to bring him right in! The staff there is Top Notch! They treated him amazing from the time I walked in the door. He spent the night and By Sunday his fever had broken and was able to come home for Christmas! I would absolutely travel into town again if I was ever in need of emergency care for my dogs!! Thank you for the getting my baby better!
