I have spent way too much time in dental offices ever since I was a little girl. Every new dentist and experience was a nightmare. After all these years, now that I am a senior I finally found a WONDERFUL DENTIST. His name is Dr. Christopher Marchack. He is intelligent, wise, kind and gentle and he really knows what he is doing. He will never do anything that does not need to be done. I just wish I would have found him much sooner, but I am truly so HAPPY that I finally found him. His entire staff is lovely, kind and friendly. The office is beautiful and welcoming. What more can I say than I am TRULY GRATEFUL that I FINALLY FOUND DR. CHRISTOPHER MARCHACK and his WONDERFUL STAFF.
Dr. Marchack and his staff always provide me with respect and dignity when I am in the dental office. He has a deep desire to provide the best possible care for his patients and their many, diverse needs. Dr. Marchack is warm, welcoming and always caring! My gratitude for Dr. Marchack and his staff goes beyond the stars! There is no other dentist I would go to or recommend!
Nozomi was friendly,warm and created a lovely environment during my microblading session. She took extra care to make sure my eyebrows and experience were perfect. Parking is super convenient, just ask when you make an appointment.
No regrets on my lash lift with tint! Not only was Victoria super sweet and informational!! She was also very calming throughout the process by explaining to me everything that she was doing and why she was doing it. The location it's in is nice and the vibe is very calming!

Came here for a lash refill. My lash artist, Rui, walked me through the different styles, lash extension materials and even tested the glue on my skin prior to the service. I chose a classic doll lash style with a C-curl.
The entire service was very relaxing (I even fell asleep haha). Rui has a gentle touch and did a great job. My extensions look and feel great. I didn’t experience any burning or pokes during or after my service. Definitely come for a service if you’re in the neighborhood!
I called to get a blowout as I honestly didn't feel like washing my hair and styling it myself today. I called in around 4pm and Liz picked up and said I can come in. I was there by 4:15pm. Something about the vibe of the salon and Liz herself made me feel comfortable even though it was my first time there. I decided to talk to Liz about starting my hair health journey. I have played around with my hair between purple and blue hair to impromptu short cut and bangs. Needless to say my hair has been through a lot. My last cut was 6 months ago and I've had untouched highlights for about the same time. I was majorly due for a touch up. I even talked to Liz about going darker as I feel my hair had just gotten too light for me. She quickly mentioned doing a cut no more than 1 1/2 inches and a tone. She brought out the tone boom to reference color and what I'm looking for. She went into detail of how my hair health journey is going to look and what it will entail. I agreed to the cut and tone. By 5:45pm I was out with a new routine, a tone, cut, blowdry and style. My hair already looks healthier and shiny with new found bounce. Liz took a walking blowout and turned it into the beginning of a journey!

They seriously are amazing and if you are looking for the absolute best, you must see them and that's coming from a guy. I have just moved to Pasadena from the east coast where I had lived my whole life. Of the many new services I needed to find was a hair salon that was clean, welcoming and had great services and stylists. I was quite picky having gone to the same person for 30 years who knew just how to take care of my fine curly hair and was comfortable using a diffuser. After reading tons of reviews on line, I decided to try Salon Sonik and make an appointment with Erica who had all 5 star reviews. All I can say is I struck gold! This salon checked every box. Everyone there is super friendly, the salon is immaculate and Erica is awesome. I had a free consult with her the week before my appointment so she could familiarize herself with my hair and my needs. She nailed it. I left the salon yesterday thrilled with my cut and color. As they use a different line of products than my former salon, the color is slightly different and I love it. Even my husband who never notices my hair color commented how nice it was! I have to also say that Veronica who washed my hair gave me one of the best shampoos I've had in a long time. She doesn't just wash your hair, she also gives your scalp a good washing and massages it at the same time. She massaged my scalp again with the conditioner. It was so relaxing I almost started to fall asleep! I really don't have enough words to say how thrilled I was with Salon Sonik and everyone there. People like Erica and Veronica and everyone else in the salon help making a big move like the one my husband and I just made, feel so welcome. I've already booked my next several months appointments. I can't praise this salon highly enough!
Very cute salon in Pasadena! They also provided robes so your clothes doesn't get stained. Booked an appointment for cut & color a few months in advance. For consultation, I met Isabel and she provided a breakdown of the services. My hair stylist was Chelsea and she did an amazing job. I brought my extensions as an example for my hair to match and she nailed it! Gerri provided thorough parking instructions and it was convenient. Overall great experience and impressed by the skillful service at Ten One Six!
I have been with my former hair person for several years. I'm talking 12+ years. So looking for a new hair stylist to trust was intimidating. I was recommended this place, specifically Lexie! You're greeted at the door by the receptionist, along with water. The place looked great and even on a Wednesday morning, it was bustling. Lexie was very great! She made me feel at ease and asked the questions to help me decide the style I wanted. I gave her a couple of inspiration photos and we talked in detail. I had a transformation haircut and chopped quite a bit! I definitely think I found my new person.
Finding a right hairdresser can be difficult especially in a new city, but I’m so grateful I found Take san. He is knowledgeable and skilled with years of experience. He quickly understood what I(indecisive myself) wanted and suggested the right hairstyle and hair color. I’m very satisfied with how my hair turned out. Great haircut and wash from Joscelyn! It took roughly an hour for this cut. She helped me with the absolute disaster of dry hair I had going on and made some fantastic product suggestions. The inside of the salon is very cute with plenty of bee decor. There is a TV as well! There is a small public parking lot nearby, but street parking is readily available.
I brought my two year old here today and I have to say it was the greatest experience!

I was taking a last minute weekend trip and was hoping to get some color before dawning my beach attire. I was able to book an appointment for a custom spray tan online the same day and also found street parking very close by quickly when I arrived. This place is cute and clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I haven't had a spray tan in years and Tatiana made everything easy and comfortable. I was in and out within about 45 minutes and so far so good. My tan is still even and natural looking after 3 or 4 days. I'll definitely head here if I need to get some quick natural looking color.

This was my first time ever getting a spray tan and it went very well. The people were very kind and helpful and explained to me the precautions to take to make sure the tan stays on. The vibes of the whole place were very welcoming and chill. They made sure that I got a high quality experience by making sure that I was comfortable and that every part of my body was tanned. I will definitely come back and would recommend to a friend to try it out.

I am visiting from NC and kinda got turned around looking for this salon. However, when I finally found it, I was very happy with my technician Jessie. She was very attentive and did a great job repairing one of my toenails, also she gave me a great leg massage. The salon was clean and spacious, also the bathroom was clean. Thank you, if I’m ever in Pasadena again I will come back to get my nails done.

A little GEM that I have been searching for for over a decade!! All other nail salons in the San Gabriel Valley/Pasadena area noisy, unprofessional, dirty, and the technicians are abrasive. There is no sense of calmness or relaxation that one expects when having your nails done. Polished Nails is quaint, super clean, charming and it has a pleasant atmosphere. Karen does my nails and like never before, they are strong and healthy because of the care and products she uses. Attention to detail is a non-negotiable, she is so knowledgeable and takes her time. I finally have found my little piece of “nail” heaven.
My friend and I went in for pedicures & manicures and were both very pleased. Lee is very nice and did an excellent job! They didn't rush through or cut us. Very happy with this salon.
A small boutique that's clean, friendly, and professional. My nail tech Angy is amazing and I highly recommend her for gel removal and design. She is incredibly detail oriented and honestly one of the few I trust with my nails. I have had bad experiences at other salons that damaged my nails from removals but Angy was so gentle and careful. I didn't feel any discomfort and she checked in every once in a while to make sure I was good and comfortable. The gel quality is something else because it's been four weeks and it looks the exact same minus the nail growth. Absolutely fell in love with this design and quality. I'll definitely be coming back.

I have had my nails done by most of the nail techs and they are all wonderful - very kind, attentive, and accommodating. They always make sure my nails look perfect; even if I’m ready to pay and walk out the door, if they notice something is a tiny bit off, they will offer to keep going to make sure it’s perfect. It’s a small place, no frills, but very calming and clean, and it doesn’t smell like chemicals like some other salons.

This is my favorite salon for structured gel manicure. Val is my nail tech here and she is patient, professional but always has complimentary drinks stocked, good music and a perfect atmosphere. This place is top tier. There's a reason why you need to wait a month for an appointment.

There were professionals doing hair, as well as others doing nails, while I was there. It was nice to walk into a friendly engaging atmosphere. OMG the best nail salon I've ever been to! Gina and Joyce are both wonderful. This cozy salon is tucked into a charming shopping area where you can forget the chaos of the world and get on with the glorious pampering. This is the opposite of the ubiquitous mani pedi assembly line salons on every block. You will feel like the only client in the world. I got a sorely needed mani pedi and went with Dazzle Dry polish which is non toxic and lasts soooooo long. Worth every penny. Thanks for a lovely afternoon gals!!
Excellent attention to detail, the technicians here are very clean and thorough with their work. I went in for a pedicure and received one of the best massages I've had in a long time. The pedicure I received included callus removal, paraffin wax dip, multiple leg and foot masks, and my technician also ensured to remove a slightly ingrown nail I've recently developed. At 9 months pregnant, I can't reach my own feet to do much TLC, so all the effort and care was much appreciated. For $50, this was a great value in my opinion. Will definitely be coming back for future pedicures!

I recently came here to get a hair cut and touch up on my balayage. Maria was so welcoming. As soon as you enter, you will notice the super warm and clean environment. I typically have super long thick hair, but it literally felt a pound lighter after my hair cut. Maria is also the coolest person you will meet and she is always asking you on what you think about it. She truly think about you and I definitely have my fair share of horror stories of salon. Some people will cut your hair 5 inches when you really only wanted 2 inches. Maria will show you and ensure you feel comfortable about it. She is amazing!!

Jesus is excellent. I took my teen in to get his shaggy overgrown hair into a new shape/look. Jesus was patient, really listened to what my son was hoping for and absolutely delivered. I had facials before but she is on another level, my face wasn't just glowing but her technique is also stress relieving and relaxing. I don't remember ever being so relaxed after a facial. I can't recommend her enough and will come back!
We can't thank Kohnur enough for making everything about my wedding perfect. My family and I felt and looked like movie stars on the red carpet. They applied the makeup flawlessly and made sure it suited my skin type and the look I was going for. They were incredibly professional - punctual, courteous, and so easy to work with. Jayla and Jules were beyond kind and welcoming from the moment I booked my appointment. The spot is so cute!! They were very thorough - explaining everything before we started and as we went along. I always ask lots of questions about skin care while I get facials and Jayla was so kind and thorough in her answers. If you desire to have products recommended to you, they carry the best of the best and are not pushy at all for you to buy (which I feel like is rare!). They want you to feel educated on YOUR skin and what will work best for you. I truly can't recommend this spot enough - I will definitely be back!!

I like this place because of how easily you can book online and how they always run on time. I'm never waiting more than 5 minutes in the lobby after arriving for my appointment. I don't stick to one wax technician and have noticed that everyone is nice and does a good job, some more talkative than others (but that's ok!). They also sell waxing products if you need help with specific needs like ingrown hairs or dark spots, which is nice. There's also a parking lot where the shop is located, so no need to struggle with street parking!

Came here for a lash refill. My lash artist, Rui, walked me through the different styles, lash extension materials and even tested the glue on my skin prior to the service. I chose a classic doll lash style with a C-curl.
The entire service was very relaxing (I even fell asleep haha). Rui has a gentle touch and did a great job. My extensions look and feel great. I didn’t experience any burning or pokes during or after my service. Definitely come for a service if you’re in the neighborhood!

The upstairs shower in our condo blew an interior wall washer in the middle of the night (Saturday on a holiday weekend, of course) and I ended up having to shut down the water main and water heater in my PJs to keep from destroying the house. First thing Sunday morning I called F&M and spoke w their on-call service who then called Mike. I figured I was going to have to have the tile walls torn into and a major repair nightmare was imminent. F&M technician Santiago called me right back and was at my house within 30 minutes. After a very brief evaluation not only did Santiago assure me the fix was was relatively minor one, he had all the parts needed for the repair on his truck. From the time he came to the door until I was writing a check was 45 minutes, tops. I am extremely happy with the level of professionalism and service this company provided and will recommend them to anyone in the Pasadena SGV area. Oustanding in every way!

Repairbest is a wonderful appliance service. I have been with them for 5 years since 2021. Michael the owner is super nice, trustworthy and honest about the cost of repairs. Michael is candid about the repairs. This means if the appliance is worth fixing, then he will repair it. If not he will tell you the honest truth about your appliance that being repairable. Additionally, he is prompt and notifies you when he’s on his way.
When I need an appliance repair, I call him first before purchasing a new appliance. He has worked on my Mom’s refrigerator which will last for another 15-20 years and her Kitchen Aid dishwasher dishwasher which required a dispenser repair because I turned the knob the wrong way. Michael looked at my washing machine of 28 years and stated that he couldn’t fix it and today he fixed my 17 year old GE Profile refrigerator which will last another 10-15 years. I have never called him back after he repaired my appliances. He comes once and works his magic and my appliances are repaired. When I have another appliance that needs repair, I call RepairBest.

Good Lock and Key have talented locksmiths. They were able to fix a lock in my truck. They took good care of my vehicle to access the locking mechanism. Additionally, they gave my son and I a bottle of water while they worked on the lock. It was nice to see such good service.
I highly recommend this business. We had another company come out and they said they could not fix our antique lock and wanted to charge us an outrageous amount of money to replace it. Pasadena Lock come to the house quickly and were able to fix the lock, in a couple of days for way less money! Thank you to people like Steve for preserving our history in this throw away society. During our home inspection, the inspector noticed some cracks in the foundation of the crawl space as well as some cracks on the fireplace. For my project I dealt with Eddie and the one of their main project managers Josh. From day one they made me felt comfortable and explained everything to me in detail. I've had bad experiences with contractors prior and wanted to establish timelines. Eddie gave me a bid and gave me a timeline of 2 weeks and they met it. Not only did they meet my timeline but also took responsibility in correcting any minor complaints I had. A lot of it was minor construction issues but they took the time to correct them all. Lastly, they came with the wrong color cabinets but owned up to their ordering mistake and allowed me to spray it any color of my choice to make up for it. I got communications daily form Josh to keep me in the loop on what is happening. He also broke down exactly what is happening when the team would come out, their exact focus on that day etc. They gave me a higher bid than others but I had the peace of mind that they were going to pull through and they did. If you want a group of builders who know exactly what they are doing and won't flake on you, I would go with these guys. The construction was superb, the communication was perfect, the timeline was reasonable, the trust was there, essentially one of the best experiences I've had as a customer for house work. Thank you again! I'll be a back with another project one day !

Although, I didn't use Titan Insulation (my work project required other things). I wanted to leave a positive review based on their response and communication. I messaged them via yelp, within an hour I received a response and call from Jackie who was very nice and knowledgeable.
Larry was exceptional. His communication was consistent, and he arrived exactly when he said he would. He was relaxed around the wasp nest, and within 20 minutes had it entirely taken care of.
The next day some wasps were on the ground and dying. I messaged him about this, and he immediately replied, saying that was normal and could happen for a few days, but nothing to worry about.
I feel certain he’d come back out if the problem evolved again. Although it hasn’t!

We had a great experience with Laramee and his team. The results are better than we had ever expected. The guys that worked on our project were highly professional and fun to have around. Laramee checked up on them frequently, and sat down with us over coffee to talk about our project on multiple occasions. He is creative, knowledgeable, kind, and has a great sense of humor. He has done numerous projects in our community, and came well recommended. Another reviewer mentioned some difficulty with communication. We left two messages early on to get his attention for a bid, and they went unanswered. We're so glad we gave him a third try, and I hope the communication issue with his office assistant has been resolved. Once we made contact, it was never an issue again. We are receiving many compliments on our garden project, and we couldn't be happier. We feel like we met a friend as well as a consummate professional.
We just finished up having Marvel Landscapes design and build a brand new garden area in our backyard. I could not recommend them more! Marvin, Jaime, and the team did a wonderful job. This company was professional, easy to work with, reasonably priced, and most importantly created a peaceful sanctuary in our yard that we love!The process started with them coming to the property to take measurements. Then we sent over a vision board of inspiration pictures and ML got back to us with a CAD style design and cost estimate. The costs were going to be higher than we were imagining (we had not provided a budget) and ML worked with us to see where we could scale back so we could get the most impact for our dollar spend. They built up and flattened out the garden area, cleared the space, and prepped for planting. We got to walk through the nursery and learn about different plants, care instructions, what blooms in which season, etc. ML installed a new sprinkler line for the space, planted, created gravel pathways, etc. and finished the project. Communication was great and available via call, text, and in person. We always knew when they would be arriving and they were professional. Hauled off all trash and debris so we weren't left with any mess. ML consulted with us on how to care for each new plant, how much growth to expect, and next steps if we want to add on. We would use them again in a heartbeat!
Did a great job with the nip&tuck on this large foothill property; a lot of overgrowth from the last 2 years of heavy rain, but a big crew gave it a beautiful trimming in one day and I'm very happy. And the day was relatively quiet since they didn't use a chipper.

They had an extensive portfolio and plant book we got to comb through and pick out our favorites. They spent time in our yard determining how much sun exposure we had and guiding us towards plants that will thrive in our yard. They were easily reached for any questions or concerns. We love the final result and stayed on budget.

After all these years, now that I am a senior I finally found a WONDERFUL DENTIST. His name is Dr. Christopher Marchack. He is intelligent, wise, kind and gentle and he really knows what he is doing. He will never do anything that does not need to be done. I just wish I would have found him much sooner, but I am truly so HAPPY that I finally found him. His entire staff is lovely, kind and friendly. The office is beautiful and welcoming. What more can I say than I am TRULY GRATEFUL that I FINALLY FOUND DR. All 3 of my children have been going to Dr. Sumalee since they were little. They loved the screens on the ceilings, decorations and prizes. Dr. Sumalee is knowledgeable, patient, and great with kids. Under her great care, none of my kids have had any cavities. Although my kids have almost all aged out of seeing a pediatric dentist, they still want to go to Dr. Sumalee. I highly recommend her.
Dr. Willcox was my dentist for over thirty years. During covid my appointment was canceled and then at the end of the year of 2020 my husband and I needed to move to northern Arizona. Dr. Willcox is a thorough, honest, kind and soft spoken dentist. (And pretty much painless) He would always follow up with me after the hygienist cleaned my teeth. I miss him and his excellent staff. As yet I haven't found a dentist that measures up to him. I am still looking.

We came here because our son was having twitching and other energy/emotional outbursts, couldn’t hold eye contact or sit down for more than literally 2 seconds. They did 3 noninvasive tests and we could visually see that he had heavy inflammation and tension in his neck. We went twice a week for twelve sessions and did the tests again and his inflammation and tension went down dramatically!!!!!!! Even before that it only two two or three sessions for his ticking to go away; and I was finally able to have conversations with my 6 year old again (he could sit still and be with me).
They have what’s called a magic gathering monthly (I believe) and it’s a time where they teach you things they know about the body using their own life experiences to help you on your road to health. Dr. Mike uses a very hands-on type of care for his patients. Pretty old fashioned but very effective. He will tell you to walk for 15-20 minutes directly after the treatment, which is a very effective way to get the most out of your chiropractic adjustments. He tends to talk a bit too much, and he gives a lot of nutritional advice, which I'm not sure if he is qualified to do. Nevertheless, I am grateful to have a chiropractor who goes above and beyond for each of his patients.

I was referred to Haig for his reputation as a great chiropractor, and I discovered he also has extensive knowledge of fitness and training. His approach is highly intuitive--he can pinpoint exactly where my pain originates and then teaches me how to prevent it from returning. Dr. George Shapiro is the friendliest, most energetic, caring doctor you'll come across. I was referred to him by my OBGYN and come 2-3 times a week! His staff is friendly and his schedule is always flexible, love how I can come in as a walk in while I'm suffering pregnancy aches and pains. They have unlimited maternity packages (I chose the 6 mo package) and I'll be here during postpartum as well. The office also has a masseuse named Jessica who specializes in maternal massages, as well as regular massages and she's amazing!

I love Dr. Zohrabian!! I have that kind of skin where I need to see her every 3 months. She has found many things that ended up being pretty serious that I didn’t even see. Other dermatologists I have had zapped me without much care so I have little scars here and there. She is so much more careful and thoughtful. Numerous times she has taken her time to answer my questions and makes sure she has answered them all. She’s quick but never in a rush if that makes sense. Her staff is amazing as well and everything is always spic n span. Her office is in an easy location with great parking. No big office building to navigate with parking garages. You drive up , park, walk in right there,I love that!

Typical appointment for me. The office staff are very friendly and I was taken to the examining room after only a couple of minutes, waiting in the examining room for only 6 or 7 minutes before Dr. Pai came in. He was his usual very conscientious self with a very pleasant manner. I highly recommend Dr. Pai and his staff!
We should have left a review when we first saw Dr. Lynn a couple of years ago. We had taken our cat to his primary vet for a regular checkup when they looked into his mouth and told us that it looked like he had cracked his tooth / line of blood at gum line... but sent us home to wait for their cleaning appt / x-rays that was about 2 months away? No. I searched online until I specifically found a dentist, I found Dr. Lynn. Marlene scheduled us almost immediately. Our first meeting with Dr. Lynn, we instantly knew she was someone you could trust. She let us know immediately that our cat was not having a crisis, most likely food dye (eye roll to primary vet... never again for specialty work). Fast forward to today, we just had our second cleaning with Dr. Lynn. Our cat is a pure breed, he is very smart and very sensitive so it can be a very difficult time for all of us. But with Marlene's attention to detail and pre/post appointment reviews and check-in's, and Dr. Lynn's exceptional work (we appreciate the pre/post tooth images, thorough analysis and resulting, noticeable clean, white teeth) we just feel so good knowing our baby is in the best hands, and that we have someone we can trust long-term. The staff is wonderful, and Drs. Gorsky and Amini have been wonderful. Dr. Lam seems to have done a good job on my puppy's neutering this past Monday, but there was a serious breakdown in communication when my puppy began to show some distress after 48 hours. It took a while to get it addressed which was pretty disturbing, but Erica Wise, the administrator (I think) contacted me and assured me that the issues involved are being addressed and that the welfare of my animal is getting the attention that is appropriate. I will be continuing my puppy's care with Modern Animal.
I brought my Frenchie here for his exam and last set of vaccines. He was treated with so much love. Elena and Paola in the front desk are wonderful! Elena was thorough on what my pup needed and passed along all my questions to the vet before speaking with him. I will be bringing him here for his care.
I really like the staff here. They clearly care about animals. The veterinarians are attentive and take their time with their patients. I very much appreciate that I didn't feel like the doctor wasn't rushing me through to get to the next patient.
This place takes forever. Expect a slow process. 2pm appointment is actually a 2:30-2:45. Overall, you’ll be there for an average of 2 hours for a check-up

Very knowledgeable yet honest with her opinions and recommendations, always giving two sides of the story, so as a pet owner, I am able to make a sound decision weighing out the pros and cons. knowledge and integrity are two key factors for a good vet.

We've been bringing my doberman here since she was a puppy- she's 10 now. All of our experiences with Rose City have been comforting, informative, safe, and trusted. We've done check-ups, tests, and even surgeries- and my dog has always been in such good hands. Recently their thorough checking prevented our dog from going under a dangerous surgery, which could have ended her life. We're so thankful. We live an hour and a half away and still prioritize this hospital over ones in our area!

Our dog, Booker needed a bath, grooming, and some TLC. We stayed one night at the Pasadena Hotel and came across LA Pet Home on our midnight walk. We came by in the morning where they had a 10:00 opening. Fatih was personable, caring, and gentle with Booker! He took his time with Booker to make sure that he was comfortable! Fatih did an amazing and wonderful job! And Booker was definitely a pleased and happy camper!

Maria is THE BEST dog groomer we have ever been to. We have a 3 year old golden doodle and she knew just what to do to make him handsome. She was loving and caring and Moose really seemed to like her. She does one dog at a time so she doesn’t put the dogs in a crate. She is really great!

This was my first time trying eyebrow lamination. I received a quick response from Rashell when I inquired. First of all, being located in Pasadena I was dreading parking. I was super happy to find a huge public parking lot once I found the address. Second, this cute little salon is located inside the Burlington Arcade, it's a small shopping mall with lots of cute shops and a cafe. Look for a glass door that reads "Rashell Beauty",up the stairs and you will find this super clean, friendly salon. There you will find the two beautiful ladies that work the eyebrows and do an amazing job at it. I was very pleased with my results.

I've been practicing Bikram Yoga at Hot Yoga Pasadena regularly for a about 13 months now and I can't think of any negative things to say about this studio! It is equipped with clean showers and multiple restrooms. In the beginning, I had a hard time getting used to the smell of sweat in the hot yoga room full of people, but it no longer bothers me. It's just something that you have to get used to if you want to practice hot yoga anywhere.I love my regular instructors (since they pay attention to details and try to push me beyond my limits), but I have never had a bad instructor here. All of them are really encouraging, knowledgeable, and friendly.Practicing Bikram Yoga has transformed my life in different ways, both physically and emotionally. Prior to this practice, weekly chiropractic sessions and daily pain medications were not able to completely eliminate the upper back and neck pain that I experienced from long hours of standing (required by my job). I am happy to say that the tension on my neck and shoulders have been significantly reduced (from 6 to 1 on a scale of 1-10) since I started my regular Bikram Yoga practice and I no longer need to visit my chiropractor or my daily pain medications!I'm not going to lie and say that I am totally pain free. In fact, I often feel sore all over my body after 90 minutes of stretching and toning in the hot and humid room, but as the saying goes, "no pain, no gain!" I've tried other methods of weigh loss after having two kids, but couldn't really maintain them. Bikram Yoga has somehow guided me to a healthier life style (with more water and vegetable and less caffeine consumption and eating smaller but more frequent meals). I find that on days that I don't drink enough water or did not eat well, it is harder for me to complete my yoga practice. However, no matter how terrible I feel during the practice, I always enjoy the rush of endorphines after each yoga session. A year of religious Bikram Yoga practice has resulted in a 10-pound weight loss and the decrease in one dress size!Getting started was the hardest step, especially with getting my body used to the heat and the smell of sweat. I'm glad I got over those hurdles and feel very thankful for Hot Yoga Pasadena in providing a clean facility and amazing instructors to help me in this positive self transformation!
I have been training with Femmie (owner/instructor) for over 1.5 years. This is a boutique studio with 4 reformers only. The personalised attention is next to none. Femmie meets you where you are at. No class is ever the same. The community of students are wonderful. I highly recommend UMove Pilates!
I was able to book a last minute induction massage here by contacting the business and being placed on a waiting list in case something opened up. Although it's quite a drive for me coming from the valley, and the massage itself was fairly expensive I think it was worth it. I got Michelle and it felt clear that she was well trained and the massage was really therapeutic. It did not induce labor for me but did cause some Braxton hicks contractions and the baby did move a lot causing some temporary round ligament pain. If you're going for a massage as always and especially if you're pregnant, get very hydrated before and after! Also something to note about the induction massage is it isn't a typical massage that includes oil, it is a dry massage which I think some might be surprised by.

I highly recommend coming to Monty if you are having pains, especially chronic pain. Upon first visit, he'll ask for details as to why you're going to see him and from there lets you know what areas he will target first. He'll go over those areas by warming you up first and then gets down to the nitty gritty. It is by no means a relaxing massage, this is a massage because you need help. I had a history of horse riding accidents, along with stress from life/work, stress on my body from climbing, and just sheer neglect, I developed a lot of tightness in my body that I felt unbearable pain for years. I went to the typical massage places, I saw two different acupuncturists and none were able to help the pain I felt. After one visit with Monty, and spending a few days feeling sore, I was able to feel relief that I had never felt before. I went in a total of 3 times, and can honestly say that the pains I felt before are gone. Occasionally, they'll come back, but he showed me how to target specific areas with a lacrosse ball and told me to foam roll, which I do now and am able to find relief on my own. I know that whenever I find myself unable to help my own body, that Monty will be the first one I'll reach out to. My fiance also goes to him and has found so much relief from all of his sports injuries.

I completed 24 AidsLifeCycle ride, a 550 7-day bike ride from San Fran to Los Angeles and developed more serious hip and neck pain as I trained for my 25th June 2024 ride. From an X-Ray, a medical provider recommended that I stop my long distance cycling to avoid future hip surgeries. I was devastated. A 2nd opinion with Sports Medicine disagreed discontinuing my long distance cycling but recommended a bike fit and physical therapy. Fortunately, Ari Baquet was highly recommended as a bike fitter by my bike store. With only two months before my 25th ALC bike ride I thought "What do I have to lose." After working with Ari, I refer to him as, "A human MRI." He's amazing. He did a thorough evaluation, reviewing records, physically examining my body posture both on and off the bike. He's collaborative and gave me his full attention. For two months, I followed all physical therapy exercises. Before Ari, I was hoping to at least complete half of ALC's daily miles. From his help, I not only completed all 550 miles with less physical pain but I broke my personal times records in comparison when I rode my first San Fran to LA ride when I was 45 (I'm now 70 years old!). I'm grateful. He's busy and worth the wait because he's so good. He really loves what he does and as I said, he's A Human MRI in figuring out what, where and how changes are needed.

They are able to diagnose and treat conditions that other doctors have little to no awareness of, and also do an amazing job coordinating information between the other doctors and specialists they’ve recommended me to.
I’m recovering from a complete Achilles rupture, and 1 Physical Therapy has completely changed my life. I was walking with a boot and crutches a week ago, and now I’m already back in shoes and walking without crutches. I had an amazing cupping session with therpaist Jeanine Kim. This heat treatment with the glass bowls and heated stones were exactly what I needed to unblock my energy flows and get me clear-headed. The bonus was Jeanine explaining the whole process in a calm and soothing voice as she applied the treatment with her healing hands. The Vitality Center's ambience is also super clean, organized and very calming. There's convenient parking in the back lot. The whole experience was not stressful, comforting and healing. Justin helped me recover from a bad back injury that I sustained a few years ago, so when I injured my knee skiing last week I immediately thought to contact him. He was able to very accurately assess the extent of my injury (confirmed by my GP with an x-ray), and already in two sessions with him I am starting to see improvements with my comfort and mobility.On top of his ability to heal, it is clear that Justin has a great deal of care and compassion for his patients. This is working! After four treatments I am sleeping better, my mood is more stable, it's easier to stretch and relax, and digestion has improved. Wonderful experience. I've been going here for about a month now and have seen amazing results. I had foot surgery and the pain would not go away. I didn't know what else to do so my doctor recommended me acupuncture. I thought what the hey. Keep in mind I've never done acupuncture before and I'm sure glad I did. Now I'm able to walk now with only slight pain but not as much as before. Highly recommend this place.

Jackie is the BEST! I started going to her when I was struggling to conceive, had very low egg-count, and wasn't sure I would ever be able to have a second baby. She takes a few minutes at the start of every session to listen to what's happening. It was like having a very compassionate, knowledgeable friend to bounce ideas, fears, etc. off of and get the most supportive, helpful responses in return. After going from weekly to bi-weekly sessions (at my doctor's suggestion), I got pregnant and with Jackie's help, *stayed pregnant! Her incredible work even helped to turn my breech baby! She is an incredible person and acupuncturist. I highly recommend Collaborative Care!
I have been treated here for a while, and my low back pain has improved significantly. Dr. Song helped me a lot. His treatment is very professional and he is very nice. Every time I come here, I feel like home.
I am so happy that I found Laura Acupuncture Clinic on Yelp! I recently tweaked my back and my sciatica flared up. Massages, stretching, visiting the chiropractor, taking anti inflammatory meds...nothing worked. So I was determined to try something new. I called the Clinic and was able to book an appointment on the same day. (HOT TIP: if you're a new patient, complete your intake form before you arrive so your check-in process goes quickly). When I arrived, I was graciously greeted and ushered to a private room where I met with Dr. Laura. She immediately made me feel comfortable and confident that I'd receive some relief. After asking a few questions about what brought me in and my medical history, she examined my trouble areas. Dr. Laura quickly identified several treatment options, explained each one, and helped me to understand and feel comfortable with my treatment plan. I truly appreciate her compassionate approach and encouraging nature as this was my first experience with acupuncture. Acupuncture with Sarah is one of the things I miss most about living in Southern California. My teen son and I both received acupuncture for various concerns and overall wellness. I am a massage therapist and was a fairly stressed out business owner and sessions with Sarah really restored body, mind and spirit. Sarah is warm and funny and incredibly intuitive and I just might need to schedule with her when I am in town! One extra thing about why Z Acupuncture is that they have free parking on site! There are just a few spots, but I never had trouble and that is pretty special in Pasadena!

I have been a serious cyclist for 40+ years. In a bad bike crash 10 years ago, I broke my neck in 3 places, and I was told I may have neck pain as I got older. Over 2 years ago I developed chronic neck pain which was constant and often resulted in headaches. My neck became stiff and clear thinking/sleep became challenging. I tried conventional medicine including nsaids, prednisone, CBD, physical therapy, and had an MRI. All with little improvement. Reluctant to try cortisone injections, I started a weekly Active Release Therapy with Chung Lim. Over some months, this relieved my muscle tightness/stiff neck and much of my pain. This was great progress, but I was still left with low grade neck pain and headache still affecting sleep and thinking capacity. I was thinking I may have to just live with this. Hoping to improve my long term and residual pain/aches, I went to Caroline Maruya for Acupuncture. After a few sessions with her, my lingering low grade neck pain and headache began to subside. I was amazed with my results. I continued with her acupuncture for almost 2 months. MY NECK PAIN AND HEADACHES ARE ALL BUT COMPLETELY GONE! Now, My thinking and sleep is not hindered. I almost gave up and am so glad I didn't. With her help, I can say "I am healed and back to normal again!" I am so thankful for Caroline's help. She is extremely caring, professional, very talented and a wonderful person. She has my highest endorsement. She will do what she did for me, which is try her absolute best to fix you.
Amazing place. Staff is so warm and friendly, doctors are wonderful. So much time and care was given to my daughter and best of all the treatment worked. Can't wait to go back for myself !

What a fabulous service! We loved every part of working with Dania and her instructors. They were accommodating and very nice to my son as a first time driver. They are also very informative on the process. If we ever need a driving instructor again, we will be back! Use them, you won’t regret it!
Within a month of completing the AMO program, I went from never having rode a motorcycle to riding a motorcycle home from a dealership over 33 miles and speeds reaching 55mph. It took me a month only because I spent two weeks shopping around for a bike.
