This is the second time I've had to use MVP in a hurry and both times the service, the quality and the speed have been excellent. This time it was Gregory doing everything and he got it done and had a great attitude despite the very hot day.
We hired him to install a tankless water heater and the results were phenomenal. Installation was on schedule and personnel was respectful of our home. It all works as advertised. I am really very happy.
Clear information and excellent service. Finding out that we needed to make a big investment in a sewer line repair is not news we wanted to receive. However, knowing it’s been handled professionally, receiving a warranty on the work and getting an additional visit to make sure all the information was communicated and all questions answered means we can trust the work and that’s pretty hard to put a price on. We appreciate Stephen going above and beyond to make sure we had answers and for his extra effort and time to investigate the issues with our property.
We had a sewer line problem that caused sewage to back up into our home, and Plumbers & Rooters Inc responded quickly. They thoroughly inspected the line with a camera, explained exactly what was causing the blockage, and walked us through our repair options without any pressure.

I had an issue with my tankless water heater and called Joaquin for help. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, friendly, and patient. I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about plumbing, but he never made me feel embarrassed about asking questions. Instead, he walked me through exactly what was going on, explained the problem in simple terms, and even took the time to teach me what my water heater does and how I can maintain it going forward.
It’s rare to find someone who not only fixes the issue but also makes sure you understand how to prevent future problems. That level of care and knowledge really stood out to me. On top of that, he worked efficiently, cleaned up after himself, and made sure everything was running perfectly before he left.

honestly i was a little nervous calling a plumber on a sunday but they came out same day and fixed our main line clog in under an hour. the guy was super nice and didnt try to upsell me on anything i didnt need, which i really appreciated. it wasnt cheap but i felt like the price was fair for the work they did, especially on a weekend. weve had bad experiences with other plumbers before who left a mess but these guys cleaned up everything and even wiped down the floor. really solid work, i’d call them again without hesitating. just a good honest local plumbing company, plain and simple.

I’ve been comin to Charly aka Juan Carlos for probably close to 10 years (before he got this location). When He first started cutting my hair. It’s because the shop he was at was less than five minutes away, now I travel over 30-45 minutes Because of the quality of his cuts, straight razor shave, more than fair price, and excellent service. Gracias Charly!
Their fried chicken is pretty good when it's fresh. I think six o'clock is the perfect time to buy it. It costs between $5.99 to $10.99. You can make fried rice the next day with the leftovers. Sometimes I get there around 7:30. I use the chicken to make fried rice. My husband and my kids love it. It's perfect with day old, been in the fridge, or just has been sitting around rice. One cup cooked rice, three to four scrambled eggs, three to four shredded fried chicken, a teaspoon of salt, and a tablespoon of soy sauce. Make scrambled eggs, add shredded chicken, stir, sprinkle salt, add rice, and then add soy sauce. It takes about five minutes to make. Still good when you microwave it the next day at home or at work. If you like the brown bread from Cheesecake Factory, they have a sandwich for it. Again, their sandwiches are a great deal. They have upstairs parking when the parking on the ground floor gets busy.
Ryan took the time to install and wrap my Miata making it look special on the road. It does take 1-2 days for the turn around but it's worth it!

Ashley Jade did such a great job with my hair. She is so talented and really listened and asked great questions to zero in on what I wanted. I am so happy with the results. She did a full balayage and root melt and gave me a really great haircut. My hair looks amazing and I know it’s going to grow out beautifully which, as a toddler mom means the world to me because I don’t have as much time for my hair as I wish I did. She was so easy to communicate with during the booking process and is a really fun, kind person and easy to talk to which made our time together so great. Her space is so well designed and relaxing and super conveniently located on south Lake in the Macys complex with free parking! I am so happy I found her.

As long as I’ve lived in Los Angeles, I’ve only trusted Angel with my hair. He’s taken me through skin fades, fades to tapers, side parts, and ducktails. His knowledge and expertise stand out not just in navigating tough hair, but also in recommending good aftershave balms. Academy is a great barber shop. Since Ray passed away a few years ago,Inez (who worked with Ray for 8 years) now the owner and stylist, is an artist, a Rembrandt of hair.She can do any style, male or female, and do it quickly. The vibe is laid back and the price is right. One caveat though if you want a buzz cut, or a sloppy stupid look, you should probably go somewhere else and not waste her time. But if you want to look your best, this is the place for you.
I went to visit this beautiful place; it was my first visit, and it was a pleasant experience because Lulú is a super friendly person. The place is clean and cozy, and you can really feel the positive energy. I genuinely liked the haircut she gave me, and I definitely give her 5 stars because she shows that she loves her work. I hope to return soon.
GREAT service and outstanding customer service. The women that worked with me made me feel very comfortable with the whole process, especially since it was my first time getting spray tanned. A small boutique that's clean, friendly, and professional. My nail tech Angy is amazing and I highly recommend her for gel removal and design. She is incredibly detail oriented and honestly one of the few I trust with my nails. I have had bad experiences at other salons that damaged my nails from removals but Angy was so gentle and careful. I didn't feel any discomfort and she checked in every once in a while to make sure I was good and comfortable. The gel quality is something else because it's been four weeks and it looks the exact same minus the nail growth. Absolutely fell in love with this design and quality. I'll definitely be coming back.

Have been coming here for 5years since moving into the neighborhood. Dian and her loyal staff have always been kind, diligent in their work and reasonably priced. They’ve seen me through marriage, a pregnancy and are always so comforting and warm. If you like fancy shmancy salons this is not your place. They keep it simple and to be honest i appreciate that. I enjoy the peace and quiet and quality time i get to spend alone and away from my home.

I did my mani+pedi for the third time in my life. The last time (second time) was 5 years ago and there’s a reason why i haven’t been getting nails done for a long time. But!! This was my best experience!! I really liked the nails+pedi service from Lbeauty. I followed by friend who wanted to get her nails done and we both really liked the result.
So excited to have found this place! Went this morning for the first time and had a great experience. Loved being able to book online. Was able to be seen quickly - Karen and Vivian were both amazing! They were so thorough and did beautiful work, and I was in and out in around an hour. I got gel removal for my toes, basic pedicure with get color, and basic manicure with french tip. Pricing is reasonable, the place itself is beautiful and clean. Really nice atmosphere. I think it is sweet how the staff checks in with you throughout the service they are providing just to see how you are doing/how you are liking everything so far. Will definitely be coming back :)

I recently visited Nail Studio at 2482 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA, and had a mixed experience. The salon is clean, and the staff is generally friendly, with some standout technicians. Fifi did my manicure, and her skill was impressive—she nailed a floral design I showed her from Pinterest, and the result was quick and precise. The pricing felt reasonable for the quality of the nail work, and the overall vibe of the place was pleasant.
I have been going to Dawn over 20 years. I hate when I have to go somewhere else, because I have never had another manicurist do as good a job. I love my pedicure and gel manicures.
In the Electric Car charging area next to Holiday Inn. Very kind staff - pre-booked an appt at 6pm for mani/pedi... charged me $55 for what most charge for one or the other! Can't get gel or other be cause my nails are too thin. B+ rating!!
OMG the best nail salon I've ever been to! Gina and Joyce are both wonderful. This cozy salon is tucked into a charming shopping area where you can forget the chaos of the world and get on with the glorious pampering. This is the opposite of the ubiquitous mani pedi assembly line salons on every block. You will feel like the only client in the world. I got a sorely needed mani pedi and went with Dazzle Dry polish which is non toxic and lasts soooooo long. Worth every penny. Thanks for a lovely afternoon gals!!

I went to see Brandi for a surprise facial as it was gifted to me so I didn't know what to expect. My face, body and soul were in pure bliss. The room smelled so good, music was perfectly calming and the blankets so plush and buttery. Where do I even start? I’ve been seeing Rachel for brows and waxing for years, so when she told me she was adding scalp micro-pigmentation to her services, I was honestly ecstatic. Came here for a lash refill. My lash artist, Rui, walked me through the different styles, lash extension materials and even tested the glue on my skin prior to the service. I chose a classic doll lash style with a C-curl.
The entire service was very relaxing (I even fell asleep haha). Rui has a gentle touch and did a great job. My extensions look and feel great. I didn’t experience any burning or pokes during or after my service. Definitely come for a service if you’re in the neighborhood!

They have done a fantastic job in a professional manner. I can’t praise enough for the project manager, Carlos. He went through great details during the estimate process. He promised to install a smart light switch for the living room. They ended up installing eight of those gadgets. We love them. Carlos was always accommodating to other groups of workers who were doing remodeling work for the house at the same time. Whenever there were questions or problems, he would take care of them promptly.
Hillside not only has great managers working with the customers. They also have excellent engineers and technicians. Santino is a great engineer who can fix our problems in a snap.

I had a tooth extraction and implant procedure at Prestige Dental with Dr. “B,” and it was a really good experience. The team was professional and kind and they made me feel comfortable from start to finish, not an easy task :-+
What stood out most was how smooth it was—I didn’t even realize the tooth had been pulled until Dr. “B” told me it was out, the nightmare of a giant pliers coming at you are long past lol.

Karen Burgoyne is the best Dental hygienist. She has very skilled hands to be very thorough with cleaning, but delicate enough to not feel pain. She was very informative about aftercare and more importantly, has a very good energy about her to make anyone feel comfortable in the seat. I 100% recommend Karen.
Always have a great experience with Dr. Johnson and his staff. His work is excellent, he cares and is very honest and upstanding. I have also had past experiences with dental offices soliciting unnecessary and very costly (not to mention invasive and painful!) work; this is NEVER the case with Dr. Johnson. GOOD. experience always ask what your co pay is. get clear non rushed communication. first. to be honest this office is busy and it felt busy when we were there we asked if we owed anything after an adjustment and were told we were fine. we thought fine was we do not owe anything. come to get a bill 3 weeks later asking for 60 $ we wold have avoided that surprise by asking for the co pays up front and paying then and there. very busy office when we were there Dr seemed to be doing everything by himself. guess that is a really good indication of good services very popular place to get treatment.

Dr. Olvera was very knowledgeable and caring as she helped me with a pinched nerve issue in my neck. The pain radiated to my left arm and was making it hard for me to work and even get some sleep. She treated the inflamed nerve points throughout my left arm and instructed me on exercises to increase healing time. I am now fully pain free and will highly recommend her to anybody with chiropractic and pain issues.

I brought a friends dog in while they were out of town. The hospital is very clean and the staff is knowledgeable and polite. The veterinarian was kind and straight forward. The dog was a bit scared and the staff took great care of her.
The reason I gave four stars out of five, is that the interior is lacking some of the more modern amenities and features that animal hospitals I've visited else where have and offer.

Went here and they took care of my corgis first broken fang with a crown. They also sealed 2 other booths that were luckily not infected. Unfortunately they cannot do a crown on any double rooted or triple rooted crown. So I had to go elsewhere. When I went to dog and cat dentist, they found out my corgi had 2 calcified booths. One was the triple rooted tooth was half calcified and the other was fully. This specialized dentist noted that advanced Vet dentistry isn't 100% accurate since they are an ordinary dentist and not specialized. So given that it was my first dog dentist. They're pretty a ok.
Staff was really sweet and caring. Didn't pressure me into purchasing expensive treatments. Answered all my questions. Felt they were honest.

Grete Gryzwana, the owner of True Pilates Pasadena, is one of the best and most experienced classical pilates instructors in Los Angeles. She knows how to motivate her students to work out with focus and precision. I have become stronger and have healed minor strains and injuries under Grete's expert instruction. True Pilates Pasadena also maintains their Gratz apparatus in impeccable condition, and it makes a difference to work out on such well-maintained equipment.

Lamin is an amazing massage therapist. I had several tight knots on my back and neck. He worked those out and even found places I didn’t know were tight. End result was that I feel like I am standing straight and walking better that ever. All that from just one session. That doesn’t happen often. A nice bonus was after the massage Robert also a CMT gave me a sample of a tea (butterfly pea flower) he made. That tasted great.

Just had my first assessment with TJ. Great guy with a lot of knowledge. Gave me some recommendations on how to work on my imbalances and took a lot of time to be very specific and individual with my case. Great little studio with all you need.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Danielle Race for pelvic floor PT during my second pregnancy, starting in my second trimester and continuing now into my third. I came to her dealing with leakage and discomfort, hoping to get to the root of the issue and feel more prepared for this second birth.
It’s been a genuinely great experience. My leaking has improved a lot, and just as importantly, I finally understand what’s actually causing it. The in-office PT sessions always feel tailored to whatever I’m dealing with that day, and the home exercises she sends me with are manageable, not overwhelming, which makes it easy to actually stick with them.
Dr. Danielle has a calm, confident, and genuinely empathetic demeanor that makes a real difference when you’re talking about something as personal as this. She listens closely and has kept my goals front and center throughout our sessions together.
I’m looking forward to continuing to work with her through postpartum. My only regret is not seeking this kind of care sooner!
Before seeing Dr Maddie, I had written off distance running as something my body was not capable of due to knee and ankle pain, and somewhat discouraging experiences with other PTs. After reading the reviews here and the initial consultation appointment I decided to give PT another go, and I’m so glad I did. Dr Maddie was encouraging of my goals while realistic about the work it would take to get there. She assessed my existing imbalances using redcord and provided tailored strength and mobility exercises. The exercise tracker app was really helpful for form videos and reminders to complete the exercises. Now I’m on track to run my first trail 50k in a few weeks! I’m so grateful for Dr Maddie’s work and I would highly recommend Elevated PT to others :)
I have been going to Stephanie for 13 years on and off and there’s truly no one more informed, no one more compassionate and understanding, relatable, funny and just REAL. Whenever I have a flare she is the one who tells me not to worry and this will pass and she is always right. She is always fighting for you and putting you first. To make my case more complex, due to other traumas, I have since needed 2 additional spinal surgeries and Ari has been by my side through it all. I couldn’t see myself going to another physical therapist. He keeps me motivated, encourages strength, and gives me advice for everyday living.
Before Ari, I went to 10+ other PT offices over a period of 15 years. I have never met anyone like him nor have I ever felt as comfortable and good about PT. His services are superior and his approach is unique. I wouldn’t want my family or friends to go to anyone else! I consider Ari part of my regular routine. He is able to keep me moving despite 3 spinal cord injuries.
AIM Physical Therapy is not like most P.T. providers. When you go to AIM for treatment you are going to get one hour of undivided attention from Dr. Justin Chuck, including diagnosis, hands-on therapy, exercise, stretching, and mobility work. The business model of every P.T. I have ever been to involves a limited amount of actual attention from the licensed therapist, then a longer period of exercise, stretches, etc, working with the therapist’s assistant or assistants. This allows the therapist to see several patients an hour while having a lot, or usually, the majority of the actual work done by lower-paid assistants working under the therapist’s supervision. Not Justin. As I said, he will work with you personally for the entire appointment. He was able to make progress in 2 visits on a shoulder condition that had steadily worsened. for a couple of years. I had previously seen a physician and two different P.T.’s, with not only no improvement, but steady worsening of the condition. I am finally feeling like I am seeing someone who is going to restore some real function to my shoulder, and if I develop any other condition, he is the first person I plan to see. I couldn’t recommend him more sincerely.

I had a great experience at Blue Jean Acupuncture in Pasadena and wanted to share my results. I’ve been dealing with what felt like a pinched nerve, which was causing significant numbness down my left arm and tingling in my fingers.
The team there was excellent. Roxy started the session with cupping and followed it up with acupuncture. The results have been incredible and just one day later, I am already 95% better.

I am dealing with chronic pain from frozen shoulder and I had seen an Ortho surgeon for confirmation on this condition. There is nothing you can do once the freezing starts … you either go through it until it heals on its own or get a surgery. I chose the first one and I have been so tortured by the pain, especially at night, when resting position. It’s been months that I could not sleep at all. I slept but awakened many times because of the throbbing ache. Even pulling my blanket was a excruciating. I don’t want to take pain medication too often, only when I really have to sleep well at night for an important event tomorrow or some occasions like that. I went through physical therapy, which helps with mobility but NOT the pain. I tried 2 acupuncturists, didn’t work. Chiropractic, didn’t work. I researched “frozen shoulder, acupuncture”, and Dr. Song came the first one up. I am glad I went! Yesterday was the 2nd time I went, and on top of electro-acupuncture, he did cupping. Last night, i slept very well, without heating pad and without pain. I remember pulling my blanket without pain. When I woke up in the morning, I was like,”Wait… my shoulder feel so loose and so good… wait, what?!?” I woke up without pain!
Of course this is not “healing” the frozen shoulder, but it is a way to manage pain holistically, until the thawing phase is done.
Dr. Song is such a highly educated doctor (he was already an MD in China), and he is also a professor at Acupuncture college. I am taking my husband and my mom next to see Dr. Song!

Jean is remarkable. She offers exceptional care, better than any acupuncturists I have visited (and I have seen a lot!). With each visit she asks additional questions and selects different points based on my current state. She has been helping me with neck and shoulder pain but is aware of my fertility journey and tailors her treatment based on my cycle phase. Marlee is an amazing acupuncturist. I've been seeing her for the past 4 weeks and she's helped me with knee and back pain. Dr. Chu was recommended to me by my GP, who said she trusted him to work on very tough cases. He has a very good side bedside manner. He really listens to your problems and truly care about his patient's well being. He also has great dad jokes!

I had all of my instructors like Mike, Nat, Eric, MO, Hunter, Edward, and Ben. They all had taught me well, they were patient and really nice to be with, and helped me to build up confidence for behind the wheel. I managed to pass the driving test in first try with 2 errors. I enjoyed driving with them as they're teaching me. I appreciated all of their help as well. I say this place is worth it if you need instructors that can help you with the driving test.

This motorcycle academy is great place to learn how to ride a motorcycle. I had no experience with riding before I took this class and I learned the basics of riding safely after taking the beginner course. The staff here are very knowledgeable and patient with every rider and they are the reason why this academy stands out. I had Vincent and Corey as my inclass instructors and they were both awesome in keeping the 3 hour class interesting and making the students understand all the safety rules and skills you will need to know as a beginner rider. I had Anthony and Lauren who were my riding range instructor and they were awesome too. They teach you how to ride a motorcycle safely while making you feel comfortable as possible. This was important to me because I was nervous when riding because it was my first time. Overall I recommend this place to any person living in or near Los Angeles.
