“I was looking for someone who specializes in working with Asian features and hair, and I was starting to lose hope when my friend came across Google and saw Grace Lin listed as one of the top makeup artists in California. Luckily, there’s one in Pasadena!I booked my engagement shoot last minute, and Grace was so kind to accommodate me. She and her team even did a video call to study my features before the actual session.

My makeup artist May, did an absolutely fantastic job, and I ended up booking her the same day for my wedding! I don’t usually wear makeup, so I trusted her completely and to my surprise, my makeup looked amazing while I still felt like myself.For my hair, I just showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she recreated it perfectly.

During my hair and makeup trial, Vianne took the time to analyze my face shape and skin texture to provide the best recommendations on what would look best on my hair and face. We did my hair and makeup trial at the Studio K Hair Designory studio and it was very clean.

I had to take engagement shoot pictures in the rain after my hair and makeup trial, and my makeup stayed put the entire time in the rain! On my wedding day, Vianne and the other makeup artist (Madison) were so patient and professional with the entire wedding party. They even provided a touch up kit for us and explained how to use each product. My hair and makeup stayed put the entire evening.
