326 S Lake Ave, Pasadena“Erik is one of the best instructors at Barry’s! He brings so much energy to the class, makes it feel like a small group, he’s hands on to help with form, he encourages us to show up for ourselves, and then he wraps the class with thoughtful wisdom to walk away with as we cool down. Always a 11/10 class!“

325 N Altadena Dr #100, Pasadena“I first went here because of the convienience of the location, but I was lucky to find such competent people to help me with my achilles tendon! I worked with both Jason and Andrea and was pleased by their high level of expertise and manner. They really helped me get back on track! Now, I've got another problem with my rotary cuff tendonitis and am feeling good about coming back and getting the help I need!“

181 E Glenarm St #107, Pasadena“I have been going to Carina’s for 3 years now. My session is an hour and starts with 10 minutes of cardio, followed by core, then arms/legs etc. A few people come in every half hour and so there ends up being around 3-6 people working out at any given time. But she prescribes different exercises for each person based on your individual strength and needs. I started going here toward the end of the pandemic because she diligently wipes down all the machine after each person uses it. One of the best things about Carina’s is she creates a very friendly and social environment. It’s the reason I have been so consistent about my two times per week! Everyone enjoys talking to each other and I look forward to catching up with my new friends all the time! She offers sessions Mon/Wed evenings and most mornings.“

514 N Lake Ave b, Pasadena“I have told all of my lady friends about this place because it is a true GEM! The small group classes are really well-programmed, they have GREAT equipment, the trainers are friendly and attentive and the vibe is excellent. I’m an experienced lifter but their classes are also very beginner-friendly and the environment is super supportive. I’m so glad I found this gym!“

117 W Bellevue Dr #4, Pasadena“I was referred to Haig for his reputation as a great chiropractor, and I discovered he also has extensive knowledge of fitness and training. His approach is highly intuitive--he can pinpoint exactly where my pain originates and then teaches me how to prevent it from returning. Working with him has made me much more aware of my muscles and movement. Now, I can feel my muscles working during workouts without experiencing pain afterward. Haig is exactly who I needed to take my workouts to the next level while effectively managing pain before it becomes a bigger issue.“

Not only has Dan helped my son physically, but also with his mental support as well. Dan is understanding and patient. His encouragement and positive approach is a demonstration of how much Dan cares about his client. He is definitely one of a kind! I would recommend Elite Fitness as a 5 star place to train and work out.“
“Unfortunately, I got injured and per my doctor had to get physical therapy to help recover. Edwin was a great trainer and has definitely helped me improve in getting back to normal after my injury. Definitely recommend them. He was a very active listener, observant, and focused on my needs to help the recovery process. Thank you!“

117 W Bellevue Dr Ste 1, Pasadena“I first went to see Dr. Jason Braun about 7 or 8 years ago when I was backpacking a lot. I woke up one morning with my neck completely stiff — I honestly thought I’d have to cancel the rest of my trip. I went to see him that day, and by the next morning, I had completely forgotten I’d even been in pain.
This year has been full of big transitions — planning my wedding, getting married, going on my honeymoon, and now moving — and he’s supported me through it when I’ve been in pain. His adjustments and care have quite literally saved me. He works magic and always knows where the pain is by just looking at your body.
He’s amazing!“

355 N Rosemead Blvd, Pasadena“Sick spot especially if you want a cheap boxing gym to set up at considering how pricey it is at other boxing gyms for a monthly membership. They have a little spot open for you to set your own double end bag ! 5 heavy bags always accessible to you except at class hours.
Definitely a nice area if you just want to train in peace and the members are always respectful and easy to approach making friendly connections an easy process.
Highly recommend if you like to train and it’s nice and air conditioned at all times none of that terrible 24 hour fitness treatment definitely worth the money for comfort.“

“Simply put - LIFE CHANGING.
My background - I've never lifted weights, I've never been one to exercise. But this little shop of miracles - they changed all that.
They took a terrified beginner (or even lower than beginner if such a term exists), and helped him fall in love with the exercise, with the workouts, with the process, with the philosophy.
I'm not kidding when I say that my first day - I was just worried my leg would go shooting across the room on my first machine. But the staff was patient, detailed, and thorough. They made sure I knew exactly what I was doing, and they were watching everything cautiously to make sure I was safe and my form was ok.
That was a year ago, this week.
One year later - I can't believe how far I've come.
When I started, I just had a simple goal - I'd like to be able to do one squat. Now I can do a half dozen without even focusing on it.
A myriad of little changes to my life, my health, my lifestyle - all these little improvements that make everything so much better than it's ever been. I'm emotional just thinking of the process...
And truly - it just comes down to the trainers, the staff - they're my guides, my scouts, my mentors in this journey. They never tire of my asking question after question about how to better my form, how to improve my technique, and I owe them so much for that.
I'm a full convert now. Full stop. As long as I'm physically and financially able to - I can't imagine ever stopping this process.
THANK YOU to every one at the Strength Shoppe (Jazzy, Adal, Anwar, Derek, EVERYONE) for helping this one man find a path in his life he didn't even know he needed, and never would have thought he could love so much.“
