I must admit that I was a wee bit nervous at first upon realizing that the L’amour team speaks Chinese and little English, because how am I going to tell them exactly what I wanted - long layers with face framing pieces, not too choppy, but still good movement, and a little blowout? But from a short glance at a few saved picture examples that I had, and some expressive body gestures and communication, Sean knew exactly what I wanted, and gave me exactly what I wanted. On my way out, I saw an Asian girl who had bleached blonde hair, and let me tell you, it looked GOOD. So I think this place is a true gem with professionals who know what they’re doing. It’s definitely a great fit if you speak Chinese, wish I did!

Tia always works hair magic! She refreshed my dull color and blended the two tones in my hair more seamlessly than the last salon I visited. My hair was pretty dry beforehand, but after her treatment, it feels silkier and looks noticeably shinier. Her prices are very reasonable, and she’s such a kind soul — we always have great conversations. It’s a cozy, one-woman salon, and I felt very comfortable the entire time. I’m so glad I found her!

I highly recommend Maria—she is truly an amazing hairstylist! For years, my sister-in-law told me about her, but I was always a little nervous to try someone new. I finally decided to start with just a toner, and I absolutely loved the results—she really understood exactly what I needed.
Later, I went back for a retouch. I had been struggling with my gray hair coming in all at once, and at 46, I wasn’t quite ready to embrace it yet. I explained my concerns and showed her a few styles I liked, and she immediately knew the perfect color to use. She completely took the stress away and gave me a look I feel confident in.
I received so many compliments after she did my hair—I didn’t even know what to do with myself! If you’re thinking about trying someone new, I definitely recommend giving Maria a chance. You won’t be disappointed!

The guy who cut my hair today (Jack?) gave me a layered style. I could tell he takes great pride in his work. He carefully sprayed, cut and ironed my hair over the course of an hour. Jack speaks Cantonese and Mandarin fluently as well.
Overall, I am very impressed with this salon. Inside, it’s clean and has the right atmosphere!

One of my close friends regularly gets her hair done here, and because of how amazing she always looks, I decided to come as well. I got a bleach + peekaboo dye and had the best experience ever! The owner and his assistant (?) were both super kind and lovely. They offered me a charger, water, and several snacks to help pass the time while waiting for the bleach. My hair was in terrible shape when I walked in and I felt so ugly, but I was able to leave feeling more confident thanks to the owner's skills. The color turned out perfect, and I can't believe how soft my hair still feels after all that bleach! I love it so much. I also appreciated the owner's haircare tips and advice as I'm trying to grow it out. Definitely my new go-to salon! Thank you so much!!

I just walked in and got a great haircut for the price. Not sure if you need an appointment. Price is probably one of the lowest. You might expect some wait during busy hours cuz there is only one hair stylist.

Best barbershop I been to! Started off as a walk-in, and have been a regular ever since. Ask for Josh, he will get you looking clean. Any cut/style you need, he’s your guy. Super chill and easy to talk to. Great vibes all around from everyone. TV playing in the background and soda at hand. My best friend is visiting home from out of the country and so I needed a nail salon that was closest to her mom's house, with good reviews. The BeautyBar stood out to me, so I made us appointments for 2 pedicures and 2 gel manicure, with 1 gel x removal. Not only was Ben and every other worker so incredibly nice and attentive, but they take their time on their work. My gel x removal is usually just filed down a ton & I honestly dread getting that part done, but here.. they actually soaked off my gel x & pushed away the excess. Something I've only ever asked other salons to do, and never actually gotten. That alone would have sold me. I like about 45 mins away and I still might just end up making the drive to come out here again every few weeks! I can't say enough nice things about this place! Definitely worth it.

AI nails gives you one of the best quality nail services. They offer Gel x extensions, hard gel over lay, gel manicure, and regular manicures. The gel x extensions could last you for more than 4 weeks. They are good quality. I have been coming here for Hard gel overlay with Ann, and my nails have grown a lot and are strong. She does the design you want and offers great ideas too. I highly recommend this nail salon.

She spent a considerable amount of time--going longer than the 90 min session that I paid for--massaging; applying a variety of products on, including a wonderfully cool and tingly mask that she freshly prepared to apply to my face; and, removing whiteheads and blackheads. She demonstrated a high degree of expertise as an esthetician throughout the session, and was clearly dedicated to providing me with a stupendously good, meticulous facial. I looked and felt like a new person after the treatment. Highly recommend Tina for your individual skin care needs!

Came in to get a upper back massage due to some pain I’ve been experiencing. They were super helpful and align me to do a walk-in and taking care of my back and my neck as well. I didn’t realize the neck massage was needed until it was recommended. I would recommend at least an hour total for a good massage.

Amazing hydrating facial for $79 in a relaxing and clean space that Queenie runs herself. She was so kind and generous with attention to detail, face, neck, shoulder and arm massage while hydrating my face. It was 1.5hrs long, absolutely loved it. I will be making this a monthly ritual! She even plucked some wild eyebrow hairs. She is awesome. I want to gate keep, but unfair because you will love her too. She also does lash lifts and tints. It was that amazing. Thank you Queenie!!

Paul did a beautiful job on our custom maple wainscoting and bar work at Bohemia. This was not a basic install. The project involved a lot of layout decisions, uneven floor conditions, outlet coordination, panel proportions, cap details, and making sure everything would work both visually and practically in a commercial space. Paul was thoughtful throughout the process and clearly knows finish carpentry.
What I appreciated most was that he did not just rush through it. He took the time to think through the details, explain options, and flag things that could affect the final result before cutting into the material. He was especially careful with the panel layout, wood movement, grain direction, and how the base and trim should be handled so the finished product would both look right and hold up well over time.
The wainscoting came out really elegant and clean, and the craftsmanship is obvious in person. It gave the space warmth and character immediately. The bar work also came out great and tied in nicely with the rest of the room. Paul cares about the end result and it shows.
If you are looking for someone for detailed trim or custom millwork and want somebody who actually thinks through the job instead of just nailing things up, I would absolutely recommend him.

I absolutely enjoy coming to Dr. Kar’s practice. As a patient, I have never felt more taken care of than when I see the lovely team that work here. Sometimes there may be a price that comes with being seen here, but I have always felt that it is worth it. The level of care Dr. Kar takes to make patients feel their best is fantastic. His supporting team is also top tier at the administrative to the doctor level. Shout out to Evelia for always taking the time to explain my care to me along with any insurance items that I don’t understand.
Dr. Toni Chen is hands-down the best dentist (pediatric or otherwise) I’ve encountered. Our family has been punted from office to office due to insurance for the last year, and finding Dr. Toni felt like coming home. She is extremely warm, thorough, knowledgeable, and efficient. She spoke with our previous dentists and tracked down records before we even walked in the door, immediately forged a connection with my son, took time to explain everything in detail to him and to me, and demonstrated genuine empathy and care. She went above and beyond in every way, including by trying to find solutions that worked with our budget, reaching out personally to orthodontists and providers she trusts during our visit, and by providing immediate follow up and follow through. She is professional, truly knows what she’s doing, and makes you feel human even within a system that can be dehumanizing and disheartening. Her office is beautiful and her whole team seems wonderfully present, patient, responsible, and joyful.
After our first visit—before even getting to the car—my 8-year-old asked when we *could* go back... What kid says that?! During our second, Dr. Toni extracted one of his front teeth, explaining each step and reassuring/encouraging him the whole time with such authentic care and clarity - and magician-like technical skills. When we got home, I told him I needed a few minutes to write a review — which he knows I never do. “Well, it will be a five-star review, right?” he asked. I told him definitely and asked if he wanted to include anything. “It was great. Like, just *absolutely great*. I didn’t even feel it when she extracted my tooth. I was referred to Dr. Paul Chen by a family friend after my car accident, he has a very experienced team to take care of my case. He help remedy my lower back and shoulder injury. The staff are friendly and accommodating. He was able to work with and direct me to an great injury and collision attorney to settle my case.
I had heel spurs, and Dr. Truong was able to cure them within a couple of weeks. He first used ultrasound therapy to massage the painful area, followed by a heat pad. At the end of each session, he gave me a few exercises to do at home, such as rolling a golf ball under my foot after soaking it in hot water with Epsom salt. His knowledge is incredible, and he patiently took the time to explain and answer all my questions. I highly recommend him. Thank you, Dr. Truong—you’re my hero!
I love this place! I’ve been coming for the last 3 years. I have a very physically demanding job but doctor helped set me straight and relieved my chronic pain. Secretary is very nice and helpful and the doctor has your best interest in mind. They’re very flexible and understanding if you forget or need to reschedule your appointment once you become a regular. I highly recommend this place

No frills acupressure massage. The ladies are friendly. Make sure to call before hand to make an appointment. Especially on the weekend, they can be booked. They were able to squeeze me in for 30 mins. Felt relaxed after my appointment. I had a stiff upper back and they were able to get knots out.
I used to come here before with the same lady, pretty good. But it has become inconsistent. For someone that gets massage since teenager, it’s kinda so-so experience for deep tissue for this last experience - too much rubbing and too much oil. Usually, it’s good. I will give it another shot tho before moving on.
