I am beyond impressed with Kohnur Beauty. My sister-in-law used them for her wedding and I loved her look. I had to give them a try. I’m asian with asian features… but what I really liked about them was how diverse their portfolio was. When I checked their instagram page, I can tell they can really enhance any ethnicity’s look. When someone can make anyone’s look beautiful regardless of their genetic features, you know their makeup and hair artistry is good. My personally picked make up/hair artist was Fennie. Fennie is definitely special. She was so pleasant, sweet, and professional. I wish I can take her around wherever I go LOL Her talents were amazing my wedding day look exceeded what I actually wanted. I will definitely be requesting Fennie again for any other events I need makeup/hair for the future even if it isn’t for weddings. We had a massive group of 13 people total, including 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, 1 sister, 2 fathers, and the bride/groom. That’s a lot of picky ladies… but the team of 5 artists managed to please everyone. My bridesmaids were all happy and I truly felt like a queen. I also had to last minute add another lady’s makeup/hair onto this already tight schedule and Theresa was flexible, understanding, and accommodating. I was really stressed out and she made it very easy and made sure to change the schedules of the ladies around as I requested. God bless you Theresa for your hard work and professionalism. Tokiko is so talented and such a kind soul. She truly did an incredible job with both my hair and makeup and went above and beyond. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and she was such a calming presence. She made me feel heard and did adjustments based on my preferences to create the perfect look. Theresa and her team do a fantastic job. I had the pleasure of seeing her work two weddings in a row and both brides looked fresh and flawless even at the end of some admittedly hot days.
As a DJ, there's an aspect to my performance where I'm actively trying to undo Theresa's work by getting people to dance wildly, and yet even 12+ hours on, everyone her team touches looks like they just stepped out of the chair.
