“I am beyond impressed with Kohnur Beauty. My sister-in-law used them for her wedding and I loved her look. I had to give them a try. I’m asian with asian features… but what I really liked about them was how diverse their portfolio was. When I checked their instagram page, I can tell they can really enhance any ethnicity’s look. When someone can make anyone’s look beautiful regardless of their genetic features, you know their makeup and hair artistry is good. My personally picked make up/hair artist was Fennie. Fennie is definitely special. She was so pleasant, sweet, and professional. I wish I can take her around wherever I go LOL Her talents were amazing my wedding day look exceeded what I actually wanted. I will definitely be requesting Fennie again for any other events I need makeup/hair for the future even if it isn’t for weddings. We had a massive group of 13 people total, including 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, 1 sister, 2 fathers, and the bride/groom. That’s a lot of picky ladies… but the team of 5 artists managed to please everyone. My bridesmaids were all happy and I truly felt like a queen. I also had to last minute add another lady’s makeup/hair onto this already tight schedule and Theresa was flexible, understanding, and accommodating. I was really stressed out and she made it very easy and made sure to change the schedules of the ladies around as I requested. God bless you Theresa for your hard work and professionalism. Jane takes the time to do a proper consultation and when my hair is done I can visually see that we understood each other perfectly. “Sana did a great job on my mom’s hair. He used to work in Beverly Hills as a senior hair stylist and is now retired. He keeps his salon in Pasadena as a way to pass the time and rents out stations to other hair stylists. Although Sana won’t do the typical extras like hair braiding and scalp dermabrasion, he is the only hair stylist I’ve met that uses scissors for the entirety of the session.

He also gives interesting stories and kept my mom entertained. Sana’s salon reminds me of those Asia hair styling videos you see on social media where the comment section laments about hair salons not doing traditional scissor cuts anymore. When you book Sana, keep in mind he will take the time to cut your hair properly without heavy aids like clippers or texturizing tools. On its face, Sana is pricier than other salons but if you value detailed and patient scissor cutting, give Sana a try.“

“Emma is ahhhmazing. She has been cutting/coloring my hair for the last several years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else! She’s from Australia, where hair training is far more extensive and it shows. She does great cuts, always exactly what I want and her color skills are on point. 11/10 would recommend“

“One of the best barbers I’ve ever been to! He is one of the few remaining old-school barbers that knows what he’s doing. I am a middle-aged man, balding, my hair was looking like a disaster. After I visited him, I’m looking like a star, the level of confidence he gave me after that haircut was unmeasurable. The man also knew so much history and was very kind. I wish I lived in Pasadena because I would go to this man every week. Oh, and it is the most affordable haircut you will get in Los Angeles. The price to quality ratio is out of control.“

“I will never go to anyone else for color services again. Tommy is the best! The photos are before and after. In the before you can see I have orange and black at the roots and faded color. He was able to completely transform my hair perfectly to an ash brown. It only took a few words and a photo for him to understand what I wanted. He even knew without me asking to blend at the roots so that when my black hair grew it wouldn’t look so jarring. This means I don’t have to go back as frequently. This is how I knew tommy puts his customers first. Hes also very communicative and easy to work with. I could tell that he was confident in his ability to correct my hair, since he moved with such ease and explained every single step to me, including the whys. He carefully inspected the color along the way, and he considered whether or not adjustments needed to be made. Im just so pleased with his level of service and the results. “I was first looking around for a wedding hairstylist for my 2020 wedding for myself and my mother and bridesmaids. I found Krystal's page and I was interested after taking a look at her portfolio. I had a consultation and a trial run with her that went above and beyond what I was expecting. She was extremely professional and at the same time, it felt like I was catching up with an old friend. I can be indecisive and Krystal helped me with her expertise to help me get an idea of what hairstyle I wanted to go with for my wedding.Then COVID happens and Krystal continued to keep in touch me until I was finally able to reschedule my wedding in 2022. I hate when you feel like you have to chase after your vendors and have a fear of if they're even going to show up, and since day 1, I never felt like that with Krystal, the complete opposite.
