While in the due diligence stage of buying a plot of land, I reached out to a few surveyors needing a survey done within a few weeks. Ryan Cook responded and I could tell immediately he was the one I wanted to go with. Not only was he quick at responding to my request, he looked up the property, doing some quick research on it and had a quote for me before I even heard back from some of the other surveyors I reached out to. Ryan identified an easement issue immediately and corrected it. He also kept me constantly in the loop in regard to scheduling and completion. This salon is located expediently between Plumb and Virginia, just off the downtown pathway, in a craftsman looking vintage house. I am a previous salon & spa owner and highly particular about the level of service, skill level, consistency, esthetic and vibe of where I want to frequent for beauty services. As I have worked in the service industry for many years, I completely understand that working with people can be taxing and that providers can have an off day. Therefore know as you proceed with this review, that I am speaking from a place of having received multiple consistent services over an extended period of time. Amber is the very best. She is meticulous and has an extremely high level of attention to detail. I am a busy working mom and she has been super accommodating to my schedule. Not to mention, she is in the upper echelons of her craft in regard to skill and expertise. Last week I had the absolute pleasure of seeing curly hair specialist Meg and I was very happy with how the first time curl coaching and cut/wash service went!Pros:-Meg is very knowledgeable and wants to ensure you know why/how to style your curls during the service.-Take home an after curl "how-to" guide to understand how to keep your hair healthy and styled.-She is otherwise a very friendly and open-minded person with great communication skills.Cons: None!I was SO happy with the service. Update: I have been coming to Anna for 5 years now and it has without exaggeration been life changing. Although I have never personally received eye lash extensions, Loni has cut my hair! I cannot say enough good things about Loni's practice. She is extremely professional, her studio is welcoming and chic', and I loved my men's haircut! The best part about my experience with Loni is her personality. She is always making me laugh, but also a great listener, not only with perfectly nailing how I'd like my hair cut, but she's down to earth and feels like a friend. I've tried getting my hair cut at other establishments and feel like I'm a cog in a wheel, or a just a number. You can tell that Loni genuinely gives a F**K and cares about all her clients. Amazing Tan! I’ve had the best experience with Erica and her tans. I had her do my wedding tan and it turned out absolutely gorgeous and lasted the entire day plus days after. The tan is so even and she takes the time to make sure that she gets every little crevice so nothing is left untouched. Highly recommend!

Every time I go in it's such a relaxing and lovely experience! My gel nail manicure looks incredible and lasts for 4-5 weeks. No peeling. My hands always look beautiful. Oh! And... Amazing service, that's what you are going to get get. The salon is clean and well taken care of, I was never nervous to visit her shop even at the height of COVID because of her policies, I always felt safe because she did her best to protect her clients. My nails were weak and polish would just chip or peek before I started seeing Michelle. She got me started on IBX and taught me how to make sure my nails lasted between services. She's a talented artist and we did so much fun nail art. HIGHLY recommend this shop!!!

I have been going to Darci for a few months now and wow, I can see such an improvement in my skin! I visit her 1x per month for her Hydrfacial. She is so friendly and personable and makes it such a pleasant experience. I also appreciate that she will go in and do some additional face extractions if necessary (spoiler- it always is)! After I leave I always can tell the inflammation has gone down on my face, redness decreased, and hydration way up! I have also gone to Darci for waxing on my face, light treatments for my face, and we have also talked about her new killer eye treatment! She also offers $10 off for new clients.

My friend gifted me a custom facial for my birthday and I was able to schedule with James easily online. As soon as I met James I knew he'd be fun and make me feel totally comfortable. When he examined my skin and put the head band on my head, he went to town, lol, on my face. I'm talking cleansers, deep scrubs, peels, masks, creams, etc. He didn't care about time at all and we had great conversation. I think I was there for at least two hours! How cool is it that he's not rushing to get you in and out in one hour! This was only my third facial and I feel I actually had a treatment done and can see/feel a difference. I have had several facials and the experience is so relaxing and rejuvenating. I also had a couple of electronic lifts and I could see a slight difference. Today I decided to do an impromptu hair salon visit. I called at 1:00pm and they offered me a 1:30pm appointment! I randomly selected a stylist, Valerie. I went in wanting just a simple cut but after we discussed what I was looking for, we decided to do a wash/cut/dry & toner application to remove some of the warm tones in my hair.I can not rave enough about how amazing, kind, thorough and professional Valerie was! She took her time, listened to what I wanted, what I didn’t want and she was so fun and easy to chat with. She did a perfect job on my hair! In fact, I was so pleased I booked my next appointments with her before I even left.Thank you Valerie! You made my day!
Khali did my nails and was so amazing! She walked me through each step and made sure I was comfortable along the way. I gave her free reign and couldn't be more pleased with the results!
This is the only place I will go to for my nails. Sarah has such care and passion for what she does and never rushes with you. Only with her have I been able to get cats on my nails. They have amazing drinks as well, you just have to come and experience it for yourself.

I had the most positive experience with Nico! I came from out of town, I spoke to him prior and emailed him some pics of what I wanted. He drew beautiful pine needles on my foot to go with a pinecone from five years ago, and he worked patiently and carefully for three hours. Incredible detail. Beautiful work. Truly a kind human and I can't wait to go back and get more work done!

We were referred to Marcus by our pest control team when we started having bugs in the shower. Marcus found not only a leak in our bathroom, but while under the house he found our irrigation system was not properly plumbed and was leaking. T Squared was fast, fair, and so helpful with our circuit issues. Troy did his best to come up with a solution that both worked, and created the smallest footprint as possible in our brand new home as he understood our desire to both fix our problem, but also not put ten thousand holes in our walls.The solution he came up with was perfect for our needs - and it also saved us a ton of money over the alternative. He didn't have to propose the cheaper (but just as effective) solution, but I appreciate his honesty and that's what will keep me coming back for any future work we need done.

So nice informative and answered a bunch of questions it was so appreciated they also give you a couple of weeks if they have to order something in so you have time to cover it which is so nice I will keep this place as a go to for key stuff and they will get all my recommendations for anyone in need. They definitely know their stuff usually have reasonable prices for most things and are patient and helpful even if they are busy which was awesome. I had two keys made and a remote don't have the remote done yet they had to order and I can't pay till payday but the keys they made work in my trunk and other spots that my original key was having issues because it was so worn so they do a great great job 2 keys for 10$ cause they are the old simple style but definitely a wonderful place.

I used ET carpet cleaning service to clean the entire house's carpet. I was renting the home and needed it to be professionally cleaned. They were 15 minutes early, and I paid the price that I was quoted. Both Eddie and his helper were very kind and professional. Eddie has had the business for over 30 years, and you can tell that he knows exactly what he is doing. I will be using him again in the home that I bought. We have been using Deluxe now since March 2019. They come every two weeks and I have never had an issue with their cleaning. The girls do a beautiful job and put all my candles, photos etc back where they found them. Nancy the owner is very nice and helpful. Kenny and his crew are everything you want in a flooring contractor. They performed all of the demolition to remove the flooring that we were replacing including baseboards. Leveled the floors to ensure that the new LVP flooring perfectly matched the existing tile. The installation of the LVP is perfect, seamlessly flowing from room to room. When I changed direction on one aspect of the project, Kenny took care of everything, which was a great relief as we are updating our retirement home remotely. If it was possible to give Kenny and his crew more than five stars I absolutely would. He will be my first choice for any future flooring needs and recommend him to everyone.

Anthony was very responsive from the very beginning. I hired Nevada Custom coatings For my new garage and went with w midnight flake epoxy floor. Initially it turned out beautiful, we had a lot of bubbles from the drying process and when the epoxy dried it was very sharpe and the bubbles popped. I reached out to Anthony about this issue and Anthony response was very active and he took care of them for me. He ended up sanding back down 4 sections of the garage floor and re-flaked it and did an additional clear coat, it's been 2 days and we do not have any bubbles and the end result is flawless, I'm very happy with it and using Anthony at Nevada Custom coating.I would recommend him.
I am pleased with the work done my Master Floors. We had to refinish existing maple hardwood floors and stairs, and install hardwood floors in a new area while making sure we matched the existing older floors. We were not in any rush so this worked wonderfully for us.Santos came to the house to see the project and provided ideas for the new area that required new hardwood. I've ordered unfinished maple hardwood in the same width and thickness which was later stained in the same finish as the rest of the wood (satin, white washed). The result turned out great. The floors are matching throughout the house and I am happy with the outcome. The crew that came to do the install was professional and did a great job. Worked full days and finished the project according to the agreed schedule. Pricing was similar with at least one other company that bid for the project however - I chose Santos' services as he gave me confidence that he could work with maple hardwood and achieve the result I was aiming for. He delivered.Master Floors is a small company so my expectations were in line with that. I give 5 stars for the finished work and I recommend more attention to be placed in the customer care area particularly communication from the office side. My thanks to the team for the work done!

We used Neil Adams to do a full remodel of our kitchen and dining room over the winter of 2015/16. Yes we did a remodel in winter! We found Neil through our designer and got several bids from other contractors also. Neil was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but the attention to detail in his bid and follow up discussions was exceptional. We had a bit of sticker shock on the cost, but Neil was very thorough and patient in explaining where all the big expenses were (we were taking out structural walls and expanding the foundation). Once we decided to go with Neil, we scheduled the work for late summer/fall 2015, as things do happen there was a understandable delay on getting our project started. Instead of delaying till spring we chose to charge ahead while praying for an easy winter. When we had open exterior walls Neil's staff would make sure everything was buttoned up as tight as it could be before leaving for the day. Neil Adams and his staff provided excellent communication throughout the entire project on what was getting done that week and when their crews and various sub-contractors would be showing up each day. Nobody rang our doorbell that we did not know was coming. Neil and his Project Manager were amazingly easy to work with especially when we had some course corrections mid project. His project Manager said to me once "hey don't worry about it, if you see it as a problem, we'll find a solution that works. We're in the business of solving problems." When he could have just as easily said these were the plans you approved. The quality of work is exceptional, and it shows, now nearly 5 years later and everything is still like new! We did new hardwood floors as part of this project and one of the crew spent at least a whole day if not two chasing squeaky floor joists (they squeaked before this project, but not after it, and not today)! You would be hard pressed to find that dedication to quality anywhere else! We still call Neil Adams from time to time to bounce other house projects or repairs off him . . . why? Because we trust him, his opinion, and his staff!

We had John and his crew do work for us a few years ago when we had a water leak in our heating system. He was great and dealt with the insurance company so I didn't have to. The work was done well and we were back to normal in no time.I am going to use his company again for some deck stairs and look forward to it, knowing that it will be done correctly.I finally had John and his crew here at my home to build stairs to my deck and complete the railing. It is SO nice! We spend a lot of time out there now. John suggested 'hogwire' instead of normal wood slats for the railing and it is perfect. Chris and Pepe did an excellent job on all work phases and did it in a timely manner. Each day they left the job site neat and tidy. We appreciated that! I have used Perez Landscaping for four jobs now, ranging from yard cleanup to paver installation, and they have done an excellent job every time! They are prompt, courteous, and very meticulous in their work. When the job is finished everything is cleaned up like they were never there. I would definitely recommend them for any landscaping project big or small!

I called for an estimate to repair a sprinkler line broken by a tree root. Larry fit me in the very next day " to take a look", while in the area. Well about an hour later after some digging, my estimate turned into a repair and was done! I was very impressed with his work and his commitment to finish the job even though he was only there for an estimate. I had made many calls to other companies the day before and was told 4 to 6 weeks out, if I was even lucky enough for a live person to answer the phone. A real gem in the rough, thanks Larry!

This company is amazing at what it does. I had a few questions about my lawn. I was in contact with one of their estimators, Kenny. He was able to come over to my house promptly and we discovered one of the pipes from my sprinkler system was cracked and that was why my sprinkler system was not generating enough pressure to cover the entire lawn. We have scheduled in early spring for Action Lawn and Landscape LLC to come fix my sprinkler system at a fair price. Kenny was highly professional and friendly with me. i was able to be seen almost immediately, AND with no appointment! and even though he was not able to fix the extreme amount of pain and damage, he was able to explain to me what was he was doing and why he was doing it. making me feel a bit more at ease, and with my fear of interaction with strangers, that was very comforting. almost fixed everything. and i loved that he was so set on trying to make sure i left with zero pain at all before leave. i not only will be returning but also strongly recommend.

My all time favorite Chiropractor!!! Dr. Hansen is THE BEST!! He is extremely knowledgeable about the human body and all of its mechanisms! He has helped me with bone manipulation, muscle pains and strains, even brought down swelling and pain from my lateral meniscus tear through laser therapy. Every time I have an issue, he has an answer and helps alleviate pain. I recommend him to all of my friends and family!

Best Chiropractor I have found in town. I have tried to others and found that Davis Chiropractic is by far the best. Fast and accurate diagnosis. Doctor is clearly experienced and knowledgeable and sticks to what is needed for recovery. My Care is scheduled based solely on what is required versus how much or how many visits my insurance covers. For example - my care requires less visits than what my coverage provides where others tried to schedule all of the visits covered even though they weren’t necessary. I highly recommend Davis Chiropractic.

Dr. Bailey is AMAZING, we are all certainly lucky to have such a dedicated and caring chiropractor in the Reno-sparks area. I visited Dr. Bailey after injuring my back at work, I left feeling a lot better and with a better understanding of how the body works. I never felt pressured by Dr. Bailey to sign up for any follow up appointments. My mom was wanting to go see a chiropractor and after hearing about my visit with Dr. Bailey she decided to set up an appointment. Dr. Bailey was able to see my mom about three days ago and my mom feels amazing also. Dr. Bailey even called me the next day to check up on my mom to see how she was doing. Wow! Everyone here has been so kind. I haven’t waited more than a few minutes in the waiting room, they called me promptly with my biopsy results (which was nice because I was so nervous) and they explained my diagnosis and how I will be cared for clearly and with compassion. Polite office staff too, which is a big plus in my book.

I hate to say my horse has better medical care than I do. They have an on call vet that showed up on the weekend before Christmas to help on an injury. The vet was super nice and professional. A separate instance. They had another vet come in the same day I called to help my senior horse through the first stages of colicing. They also were available on the phone to answer care questions. They also have notes on the vet bill that helps in recovery.
We have been so pleased with our experience at Southwest. We ended up with 2 weiner dogs unexpectedly after a loved one passed, and the staff here have been nothing short of amazing! Always upfront with costs, and attentive with check ins and advice. From the front desk to the doctors, we couldn't be more thankful for their wonderful customer service and genuine care for our fur babies!

My boys love it here, gained lots of weight, and have done really well. I've enjoyed it here. 2 rounds pens, large outdoor arena, wash racks, several tack rooms. Huge pens/turnouts. Workers are friendly and everything is kept very clean.
Dr. Green assisted our family with saying goodbye to our beloved dog. It was peacefully done at home, where our dog was comfortable, and we were too. It is a difficult experience to loose a pet but Dr. Green was good at explaining the process, allowing us time to grieve and say goodbye. She made it easier, and at a time like that, that is all you can ask. Thank you, Dr. Green.
I can't express enough how thankful I am for the whole staff at Klaich!! Both of my pets have complex chronic medical issues and Dr. Nichols has always been so knowledgeable, compassionate, professional, and generally all-around amazing. The front desk staff is such an awesome and friendly group and the pharmacy team is so quick at filling prescriptions and letting you know when they're ready. It's so amazing when a vet office truly cares about the animals they're taking care of and takes the time to really listen to pet owners and handle pets with care and compassion. They were able to complete Miso’s vaccine within a timely period and treat him with so much kindness. We’re so grateful to have such a wonderful space for Miso.

Nov 2023: Took baby girl doggie into this place got me on such short notice and treated her very well. She would usually tell me if she wasnt treated right because she gets anxious and has a clingy attachment style but she looked cute after and they did her nails and everything. Although they said she was going to be showered dont think they did that since her fur was going everywhere but just make sure they do that if its included for your doggie. Price point was about $70.

So happy I found Jennifer and Sparkle Yoga. When I began classes with Jennifer 18 months ago, I had no idea how life changing Yoga would be. I am stronger and more flexible. My aches and pains have diminished. Jennifer is an amazing and inspirational instructor. She has created a welcoming and encouraging environment where everyone, no matter what age, leaves energized.
My sister-in-law and I were visiting from a low altitude/high humidity area, so we underestimated how long it would take us to jog the 2 miles to the studio. We ended up making it literally right at class start time, and asked if it was too late for us to drop in for the session, totally assuming we had missed our chance. (Understandably!) But after a quick round of questions from the staff they found a way for us to sign our waivers, participate in the class and sort out the payment details afterwards. What a fantastic experience- the class was strong and the sweat was much appreciated!! Wish we lived closer, this would 100% be our regular studio. ?

This studio is my happy place. I absolutely think of each Pilates class as my "me-time." I always feel like the class is challenging and pushing me way past my comfort zone - but in a good way...I feel safe, like the teachers know what they are doing and I also feel welcome! The staff is all extremely friendly and even the other clients are fun to be around. This is the best Pilates in Reno, hands down.

I had Natalie recommended to me by my Orthopedic Surgeon after total knee replacement surgery. Natalie & her team have been amazing getting me back to where I can push myself everyday & the results are incredible
This has developed into is a very good studio, with clear instruction and capable staff. I enjoy coming here for an occasional class and would consider visiting more if I lived closer.
I love this gym! I started off with reformer pilates (which feels amazing and anyone can do) and now my favorite classes are strength based. It’s a very supportive environment for women who want to use free weights but aren’t sure where to start. Class sizes are small and you get help with form and technique. All the instructors are fantastic- motivating and knowledgable. They also offer personal training sessions but I haven’t tried these myself. It really feels like people get to know each other here and become like family. Some folks have been coming for a decade! There’s a wide range of ages, and modifications are always offered if you have an injury or restriction. Definitely a great place to work out and build community.
Johnny is amazing. I walked in with all sorts of issues, aches and pains in the feet, knees, hips, back, shoulders, elbows and neck. Basically a mess. I forgot to tell her about one of the most significant injuries I’d had a long time ago and she found it too! I walked out with less pain than I went in. She used hot rocks and cups and searched for the bad spots. When I walked out I felt fewer aches, felt lighter, with more energy and I can’t wait for my next appt!

I went for my first massage here yesterday. The building is very clean and comfortable with cozy couches and tea in the waiting room. The receptionist and my massage therapist, Anna Maria, were both very welcoming and professional. My deep tissue massage was the perfect pressure and helped relieve my chronic neck/upper back pain. Probably the best massage I've ever received. I was so relaxed that I honestly thought that my massage was only 10 minutes long (it was the full time though). It's rare that I go into such a deep relaxed state during my massages. Erica's massage room is in a building that doesn't have any signage and upon walking into the building, you'd think that her massage room would be "blah" just like the building, but it's exactly the opposite. Her massage room is furnished beautifully. She told me that her husband actually built a lot of the pieces of furniture in her room. Highly recommended!!

Brian gave me and my fiance the best massages we have ever received! I have had many deep tissue massages before, but nothing compares to the shiatsu and ashiatsu massage with the feet, not to mention the reflexology expertise he has. You are fully clothed and while he massages you also get a really good stretch. It is magical and very relaxing! I highly recommend this if you want to meet an expert healer. :)

Finally as a Christmas present to myself, I booked a massage. Saturday December 30 I went in and had a 60 minute massage with Jasmine. Wow. Just Wow. -End of review- *kidding-The wow is all good feels 1-Location Location Location:. The space? Warm, welcoming, inviting. The location doesn't have endless amounts of parking, so either get there early or I parked across the street in the Too Soul Tea parking lot, or there's some street parking. She is located in the same building as a Yoga Studio and Pizza place, so it is a popular corner. 2-Prep: Jasmine sends you a questionnaire ahead of time to learn about you: Any prior injuries to be concerned with? Pressure levels you like? And others. 3-Comfortability: Jasmine's voice is soothing and not grating. I've had massages from some people who don't have the nicest sounding voice, so trying to relax is harder. But her voice is awesome. 4-Additional services: She has some awesome additives that make the massage even better, paid and unpaid. Complimentary that I've never had in a regular massage but have in pedicures are hot stones. Oh man, those were so nice on the chilly winter day. Face mask was a paid add on I think, and they are sheet masks approved by Erin of Geollenial, so you know you're getting quality skin care. And there are a variety of others, be sure to ask about them when you go. Final thoughts: Yes. Absolutely. Book your massage with Jasmine. You won't regret it. I have my next massage with her pre-booked here at the end of the month and I am STOKED for it. She suggested that we up it to 90 minutes rather than 60 because of 1-how long it's been since I had a massage (prior to the Dec 30 appointment), and 2-how tight and tense my muscles are.
Mary gives the best massages! Honestly, I don't even want to tell you how good they are. She already has a busy schedule, and I don't want to have to battle you for an open slot. Mary is a skilled therapist. She has a variety of techniques at her disposal and does an effective job of relieving tension and removing knots. I highly recommend her.
I was in town and my only goal was to get a massage. Avi did a wonderful job! I prefer deep tissue massages and Avi did not disappoint. I have never had a man give me a massage, he made me feel comfortable and I felt so much better afterwards. I highly recommend Avi and Leaf Bodyworks.
I've been going to Tammi for about 8 years. She is fabulous! My mother in law has used her even longer and swears by her too. She is around 80 and getting along great. Tammi is great at suggesting healthy changes, stretching, etc. To keep the body feeling good between visits.

Extremely caring & diverse! Dr. Ferran has treated me for varied health & fitness issues. She integrates traditional chinese-acupunture w/a range of deep tissue and light massages. On some visits, she will open w/ "heat-cups" to prep tight muscles. And she adjust 'insert-points' & needle tools(She is the only practitioner who has obliged me with 'cat-whisker' needles). Highly recommend her treatments-especially for athletes.
Dr Melissa Wilson is wonderful. Her acupuncture has opened up my sinuses even with my allergies to our dog. Acupuncture also helps keep my digestion in line and helps keep me balanced. The cupping for my back also relieves tension and bringing new blood for my non-circulating vessels around my shoulder blades. This is an area where I’ve always held my stress. I highly recommend her! She may not be taking new clients without referral but let her know I’ve suggested you see her! Over a short time I believe you’ll see a difference like I have. My mom years ago was cured by acupuncture for her brain injury over 6 months. Best wishes!!
I have been coming to see Dr McKenney off and on for over 15 years. My first visit was for excruciating pain in my shoulder which she diagnosed as bursitis. I could not lift my arm without pain. Within that first visit I was able to lift my hand over my head with virtually no pain. My gratitude was immense as was my admiration for her diagnostic ability and skill in coming up with a remedy. I have since been to see her numerous times for chronic sciatic pain for which she adeptly provided relief. Great experience overall. Super flexible program, with a self paced learning environment. Patty, Randy, Michelle, and Pete are always willing to help you get prepared for your license test. Unlike other schools, you’re not required to attend every day, and with early morning and weekend hours available, you can get your CDL while you’re working full time. Patty went above and beyond the call of duty to get me scheduled for a retest right away after failing a portion of the skills test. The icing on the cake is the best pricing in the area, as well as being 100% local family owned. I’ve already referred a few people, and will refer anyone else that asks about CDL school in the Reno area.
