They did a very professional job then and they continue with that kind of service from the bid to the completed job today. Besides refinishing the cherry wood floors, they replaced 2 rooms of tile flooring with hardwood flooring. Dimitri came out to help fix a problem created by the cleaning company we had hired. Milo came out to my home a couple of days later to discuss the scope of work and then provided me with a fair estimate. Teak & Hardwood Floors delivered outstanding results. The new install and refinishing work were flawless. They seamlessly matched new flooring with existing surfaces, and the finish work exceeded expectations. Every cut, every board, every detail shows care and skill - especially around fireplaces with jagged granite edges up against the floor. These guys are pros.
Customer Service & Communication
From start to finish, communication was excellent. Jeff was responsive, patient, and always available to answer questions and guide us through options. Jeff is very very knowledgeable and knows every technical aspect of flooring, materials and installation tradeoffs. He took the time to explain all tradeoffs in detail along the way. Scheduling and communication was excellent and actually pro-active, something rarely seen in the building trades.
Sourcing
Teak has excellent capability of sourcing wood at high quality and reasonable price and Teak worked diligently on availability, including on additions to job scope.
Value of Work
The estimate was fair, thorough, and accurate. Change orders were estimated accurately for the most part. While they may not be the cheapest option, the quality of the work and the peace of mind of knowing it’s done right.
Professionalism
Every person we interacted with was polite, reliable, and highly professional. Jeff’s leadership is evident, and both foremen deserve special recognition: Reuben, who led the refinishing, showed meticulous attention to detail, and Alejandro, who oversaw the new installation, ran his crew with skill and efficiency with very high quality. Both deserve 5 stars, plus more, for their outstanding work and professionalism.“

“Lucas and his staff were incredible. But first, the story as to why.

Through no fault of their own, about 25% of the stain they used in reconditioning our floor was improperly mixed. There's no way of knowing this until after the stain is down and cured, which we found to our chagrin after we returned home from vacation, during which was when they redid the floor.

For a short bit my wife and I thought we were going crazy because the tint was so much lighter on 1/4 of the floor. Was it the lighting? No. Was it us? Probably not. Was it the workmanship? Nah, couldn't be. Turns out it was the materials, so in a stroke of mastery the floor crew returned, re-sanded the floor, deftly blended a special batch of stain to match the other 75% of the floor, and made it seamless.

So, not only were we thoroughly happy with the end product, the hiccup in between could have gone VERY sideways but instead they simply owned the mistake that wasn't even theirs, fixed it, and did so professionally and efficiently. Getting what you pay for is one thing, but the ability to correct mistakes without excuses is something else entirely. I will never go anywhere else.“
