We had the great fortune of being introduced to Daoust Design & Construction seven years ago, and since then Jed and his team have worked with us extensively on two homes in the Donner Lake area of Truckee. Over the years, they have handled everything from design/build projects and major renovations to planning, budgeting, and consultation. What can I say about Jed and his team. Honest, straight-shooting, detail oriented with an eye for design and a knack for finding solutions instead of excuses. What you receive for your investment is well above the value of the cost.

During our first work with Jed, he solved a years' old water intrusion problem the right way the first time instead of slapping a band-aid on the problem. The second time, we hired him and his team for a more straightforward flooring project, replacing old worn carpet with hardwood. Jed worked on my large, 3-bay garage/workshop: concrete, electrical, epoxy flooring, etc. He explained the pros and cons of various options during the planning stage, and suggested various ways to save money. Everything was done on time and on budget and Jed was communicating with me throughout the project to make sure I got what I wanted. I probably could have saved a bit of money going with someone cheaper, but not having to worry about the quality of the work was worth it to me.
