I, like many young poc New Yorkers, used to only go to one old school hairdresser as a kid until young adulthood where I became a diy alt girlie, partially due to anxiety and partially because as lovely as the old school hairdresser was, she was less available and less likely to achieve the look I was going for. I had recently decided to take the plunge to go to a real hairdresser as my hair had gotten pretty unruly over the years from me hacking at it and I did not have the mental or physical energy to try to do my hair myself as I had done a pretty heavy box red for about a year straight , but had let it fade for about a year. After getting recommended to Leanne by a friend, I can confidently say I can never go back to doing my own hair - in the best way! She was able to squeeze me in last minute before my birthday and was totally game to do a whole 3 hour transformation for a first time client. I am so incredibly happy with my results and had the best time vibing with another Brooklyn girl. I already wanna go back for a blow out because it looked so good - and lasted through a beach hang right after and a concert the next day ! I’ve been getting nonstop compliments and am just so happy overall. If you’re looking for a comfortable environment to get your hair done, look no further !

The technician was on time, professional, and very knowledgeable — he walked me through everything he found and even showed pictures of the inside of the flue so I could see the before and after.

I found Kim through Google and read all of the amazing reviews so I decided the worst that can happen is I get 1 bad massage but omg ! Kim is absolutely amazing, I’ve already raved about her to all of my friends, she’s literally my Skinny Fairy Godmother. She means business when it comes to snatching you. It’s only been 2 massages but wow what a difference in 48 hrs. Insane . Had such a great experience at Shuly Wigs. Brought in my hair topper and consulted on the best way to style it and wear it, talked about a custom cut for it. The stylist had to leave early the day I came so couldn't talk more about the cut but I now have the confidence Shuly Wigs will be able to make the hairpiece even better than now. Tried on some wigs also but was told I'd need a custom wig due to the size of my head - XS! Had the best experience! Went in for a full head of highlights with a head of dark brown hair that hadn’t had highlights in 6-8 months and came out with a beautiful bright blonde balayage that felt healthy! 20/10 would recommend. Natalie did a wonderful job and she was so knowledgeable about hair and the blonde process. Update: It’s about one month later and I need to say this - this is the best haircut I’ve ever had. I can wear my hair down freely without it disturbing me and being in my face. It’s light, the curls are naturally appearing without much efforts and the shape is amazing. I’m getting a ton of compliments and it feels amazing. I’m not taking my curls anywhere else from now on :)

this one goes out for NIKA, omg she was the only hairstylist I'd go to back when she was in CA. I am the pickiest of picky and prioritize cuts over color and she would just get me right every time. Eventually I trusted her so much that I decided to go blonde. I had never dyed my hair before, let alone go blonde on the first try. That was last summer 2023 and my hair (untouched since) grew out beautifully just like she said it would! 1000/10 recommend !!
I've been going to Maley for 5 years, and she probably gives the best haircuts I've ever gotten. She is also a pro at interpreting a look and tailoring it to you, as opposed to just copying a hairstyle that might not really work for your oversized head (?). She's also great to talk to--just make an appointment and get a cut now. You won't be disappointed.

I've always had a great experience here. They are so attentive with the manicure, it's the best manicure I've had in both NY and LA. The manicure can go a little long so be prepared to be there longer than the time in the booking. Super attentive, very creative with nail art and colors, top notch service always. They're also really honest, I booked a future appointment with one artist and received a text saying based on the art I wanted I should see a different artist, I appreciated that! Truly the best place for nails.
As a socially awkward person I often get nervous going to new places or getting something done for the first time. I rarely get my nails done and had a grown out gel polish manicure from a wedding a few weeks ago. I live in the area and there are a lot of nail salons nearby but I liked that Eve’s Nail has an online nail appointment portal. I requested an appointment this morning and got one at 11 am same day! The salon was clean, bright and very peaceful. The woman who removed my gel polish was thorough and gentle, and the salon definitely has good sanitation and hygiene systems in place. The best part was the arm massage! I didn’t know how much my arms needed that. I also got a regular polish application and the selection of colors was good! The entire appointment lasted under an hour and was very reasonably priced. I would definitely come back!

I got the plump lash lift about two and a half weeks ago and I'm mostly satisfied. I mainly got it so that I could forgo mascara during a 2 week vacation while still looking relatively awake and fresh faced. I have very straight Asian lashes that kinda grow downward, so curled lashes definitely make a difference on my face. That goal was achieved. The process was relaxing, Yuri was so sweet, and my lashes came out perfectly curled and not overprocessed. Now 2.5 weeks later my outer lashes are starting to straighten. The middle lashes are still nicely curled but it's slightly disappointing to shell out $$ for the treatment only to see it start to lose effectiveness so soon. Maybe my outer lashes just grow super fast, I dunno. At any rate, if I were to get another lash lift, I'd do it here. Other lash salons may offer the same, but Masterpiece really listens to your needs and they won't fry your lashes.

And so I came in to Luba asking for a make up look that’s natural but at the same time will last and look flattering. She absolutely delivered. My make up looked great and at the same, not at all overwhelming. Highly recommend.
I had my hair done for the first time ever at Lima hair salon and I was so happy with the results. Honestly, I say she saved my life. After a bad haircut and damaged hair I had to find a place that could fix my problem. Lima was so attentive and answered all my questions over the phone and luckily I was able to come in the same day to get extensions done. Someone there said they call her the magician! And I agree she made magic happen! I went from looking like a little boy to looking like a woman again when she did her magic and added beautiful extensions to my hair. The Cutting room always delivers on your haircuts! It doesn’t matter what you are doing, from taper fades to french cut and to the pompadour, you will always leave satisfied with your hair, and by the end of the haircut if you don’t like something then you can ask the owner or other barbers to change your hair to your liking. In addition to this, the owner and barbers are extremely kind and try to accommodate your needs. Overall great experiences over the years and this is a wonderful and reliable barber shop.

Thankfully Briana at the front desk was able to discover my error quickly and find a way to accommodate me even though this location was closing a half an hour later! Very professional and I was surprised as I was expecting to be told to reschedule. Great service already before the wax even started!

Rachel gave me the best facial I have ever had. She made me feel so seen, taking a genuine interest in my skin and taking what I believe to be a truly customized approach. Sometimes I feel as though a salon say that it is customized when really it is formulaic, but Rachel‘s approach matched exactly my desired outcome and I left with glass skin. Her massage technique is unparalleled, and I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Where do I start? For starters, Kathy is SUCH A SWEETHEART. She is so positive, warm, and a pleasure to work with. Second, her studio is beautiful!! For something as unpleasant as a wax, her environment makes you feel comfortable immediately, a true reflection of who she is. Finally, this wax experience has been the most pleasant one ever. The wax she uses does not pull on the skin so while there is mild discomfort, its nothing like what I've felt with soft wax or other mediums. I had minimal swelling and no irritation.
Bottom line: Kathy is a true gem of an esthetician and I look forward to seeing her again. I have absolutely nothing negative to say, rather I am needing to contain myself to succinctly express all the positives there is to say!

This place is an amazing massage spa. The gentleman at the front desk was the epitome of a graceful host and extremely efficient and courteous.
The masseuse was simply phenomenal and gave me the best massage I ever had.
I'm not kidding, she was like a T-800 and ruthlessly located and exterminated every knot I had, as if she took their existence personally.
Not only that, but she also expertly threaded that fine line of going hard enough to get rid of the knots quickly without causing pain, something a lot of other masseuse don't seem to grasp.
It was the first massage that didn't not hurt me, and it was the first one that did not cause weird aches and pains hours afterwards.
The place was also immaculately clean, well maintained, and the prices are fantastic.

Tatiana saved my eyelashes! I had gotten my lashes done elsewhere and felt like something was wrong so i got them removed with her. She was so attentive and gentle and informative. The appointment that was supposed to be 30 minutes went on for an hour because of how awful my lashes were, but she made sure I was comfortable and that she removed everything. She told me they used wig glue and put it directly onto my eyelid and thats why it was taking so long to remove and why I was experiencing irritation. In the end, she was able to save my natural lashes. I am so grateful for her hard work and dedication!!
I've been getting my lashes done with Karchung for a very long time. Every visit ends with me being very happy with the result - she's so talented! I have very short Asian lashes which are really sparse so I get luxe hybrid done every few weeks and they always turn out perfect! I have no idea how she manages to make my tiny lashes so full, but she does an amazing job. I feel like a new person whenever she has worked her magic on me. Pre-Dame is unmatched. From the trial to the wedding day, everything went seamlessly and came out better than I could have ever imagined. Allie did my makeup, Michael did my hair. DREAM. TEAM. At the start of planning, I was not big on the idea of hiring a beauty team. When I realized there were some logistical advantages to hiring a beauty team, I asked Michelle and Willow House how fast they could get it done, and they worked with me to find a solution that we could get 12 services done in 3.5 hours, which was about as much as I could handle. Stefani, Natasha, and Loretta were incredible, everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup. Stefani and Loretta did a great job, especially with the moms. They stayed calm throughout, finished on time, and kept the vibes light and cheerful. They listened to each of my bridesmaids and me, and did not push any looks that anyone was uncomfortable with. I was visiting New York City for a weekend and called Grace to do my makeup. She came to my hotel, was truly professional, aesthetically clean, superbly organized and so pleasant to be with. Getting makeup done is an extremely intimate thing, and having Grace in my space was so easy. She is such an amazing person before I even get into the makeup. Michelle was an exceptional makeup artist for my wedding! Not only did she do a lovely job with my bridal makeup (which lasted all night) she crushed it with my giant wedding party. Aside from makeup, she became a huge source of calm throughout the wedding. Not only did she make sure my makeup was good to go, she helped me with my tiara, veil, and entrance, even chasing a random loose dog down the aisle when a non guest let them off the leash near by. I couldn't be more grateful to Michelle! And in the wedding photos you can really tell the makeup was high quality. Me and all of my bridesmaids were thrilled. You can't pick a better makeup artist for your day!
I had my helix pierced by Zoey he was very respectful, and nice. I first came to his shop for an industrial but when he saw my ears he made sure to mention that my ears weren’t shaped for an industrial and gave me other piercing options. That’s very good to know when getting anything pierced, The place is very nice to look at there’s a lot of cool drawings inside the place and there was music playing I really like the vibe. The pain was not bad at all. The price was not bad it was 70$ to get a helix on both ears. The price he was going to charge me when I asked for industrial on my right was 50$ which was pretty cheap in my opinion. I’m thankful I came here I left happy and pierced!
I went to HoG to get a tattoo from Will Hunter, so I can only speak to that experience. Will is amazing, both as an artist and as a kind and knowledgeable guide. Other than that, I can say the front desk staff was friendly and helpful, made the whole experience as easy as possible.

They asked us if it was her decision to get pierced and she even had to sign her own name on the form. And yes, we signed too. She picked out her earrings and Danny, our piercer, went over every detail, from cleaning, to upkeep, the process and the right earrings to choose.
Danny is a pro. Truly patient, extremely thorough, and no nonsense about safety and cleanliness.
He also switched out my nose rings for me.

Before I left for vacation, I reached out to Optimus Plumbing because there was a problem with my boiler (it was leaking some water). Mr. Viorel came to check it out, and he quickly diagnosed the issue and worked to resolve it. He wasn't there for more than an hour. He was truly professional! I'll be reaching out to Optimus Plumbing again now that the temperatures are getting cooler (and I'll need my boiler to be cleaned and tuned up).

A very patient professional team who addressed my boiler issues effectively and with the attention it needed - their prices reflect the quality of their work of course, which is because they guarantee their work. They even proactively checked in on me BEFORE billing me for a second installment to ensure I was satisfied with them resolving our delayed ignition issue.
This process was so easy with Authorized Heating that I'm really skeptical about using any other company. I had a hot water heater that failed unexpectedly. After several feeble attempts with other plumbing companies, (AH) fixed the problem. Going forward, my first and only choice to address any of my home plumbing issues will be to go with Authorized Heating. Great Work!
I called Mike when my heating system stopped working at the start of this winter. I left a voicemail and he called me back quickly. He came to inspect my system and said he could fix it, but ultimately needed to be replaced because of how old it was and the poor work the previous company had done. He clearly explained in detail what was wrong with it, and that even if repaired there were still some concerns about performance and safety. We ultimately had Mike replace our system and he finished the job in one week without any problems. Most importantly he was on time every single day and worked full days to ensure completion. He explained every step along the way and made sure to always clean up and respect our home. He's easy to talk to, trustworthy, and simply works as if he's working in his own home. It was a relief to find someone as skilled as him and someone I could rely on to get the job done. Our new system is incredibly efficient and works great. He even helped troubleshoot a radiator that hasn't worked in years and now it works fine. I recommend Mike without hesitation.
Dov is very responsive, professional, and I would highly recommend using them. Johan who came for the initial diagnosis/inspection was thorough and spent a couple hours to check everything to identify the issue causing a leak.
My issue was unique where the source of the leak was not easily found, and Dov the owner responded to all my messages over multiple days & I had multiple calls with him as he helped me through the process (without asking for any additional pay).

We needed a new breaker box, as ours was falling apart. CS came by to give me a quote and checked out the electrical in the whole apartment. I thought I might have to rewire the whole place, but they told me that after they swapped out the box that it would probably fix our issues. They steered me away of spending money I didn't need to spend, when they could have easily told me I needed to do more work. They came in, put in the new box, left the apartment cleaner than it was, and were super nice the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

he technician arrived with a truck stocked with common parts. He had exactly what was needed to fix my dryer's heating element on the spot, so I didn't have to wait for a part to be ordered. That kind of preparation makes a huge difference.
I called Slava from AllSafe Appliance to fix my refrigerator. He was able to schedule an appointment on Sunday morning, arrived on time and was able to diagnose and the issue very quickly. He had the spare part that needed replacements in his van and he wasted no time in making a replacement. The refrigerator is now as good as new! After he finished with this job, I asked him to take a look at my dryer as it started to make some strange noises. He quickly told me what the issue is likely to be and after he troubleshot it some more he was able to confirm it. Latter on we agreed that he will order the spare part required. Once he got the part we scheduled an appointment, and once again he was on time, was very professional, and fixed the issue quickly and effectively. Every year we come to Brooklyn for the Park Slope historic brownstone tour. I'm in awe of these beautiful homes and short of owning one, touring these multi-million dollar homes is the next best thing. We prefer to stay in Brooklyn (my favorite city in the world) and live like a local for a few days, choosing a rental apartment over staying in a hotel. I like to explore different neighborhoods and the culture each one offers, as every one is distinct in their own right. This year we choose Windsor Terrace, a more residential and somewhat suburban neighborhood compared to ones in the past. We drove to Brooklyn instead of taking the train so the ample street parking was a key factor in our decision. Like mentioned before this neighborhood felt a little more suburban and featured a variety of home styles. While I didn't see any genuine brownstowns there were some with the same styling. Many of the homes had driveways and/or garages. The neighborhood was flanked by a highway on one side and the historic Greenwood cemetery on the other. The subway accessibility was not as saturated as in other neighborhoods so we opted to walk and drive. There were several small parks within walking distance that featured nice playgrounds for smaller children but limited green space. Overall it was much quieter and you almost forgot the hustle and bustle of Brooklyn was only a few blocks away. For me personally as much as I appreciated the safety and ease of parking I prefer someplace more upbeat and lively. We had to drive or walk a good 20-30 minutes to get to an area that had multiple retail and dining choices. In our immediate 5 block radius there was only a café, a pizza joint, and an ice cream place. The residents were all very nice and Sat and Sunday had "stoop sales" where everything was free. It was relaxing to walk around and check out everyone's items that were up for grabs. We enjoyed ice cream from Kathy's and sat in the park. Overall a nice visit, one that I would consider again if I was driving.

Top of the line service...called this am...we negotiated time and the tech was right on time. Assessed the job and did an excellent job of repairing our lock. This was compared to another company on this site that quoted a price of 450minimum to changea lock. Once they started talking about new shiny handles and plates I knew they were jokers.

I'm not sure why the reviews are bad, I have used this place twice for 2 different apartments. Owner went above and beyond to source a 2 inch hexagon tile I wanted that no one else seemed to have (including Nemo Tile). Price was about the same as Nemo, HD and Lowes, and I liked being able to see the glass mosaics in person for a shower niche I wanted to create. Would definitely go here again, great service.
I only shopped for flooring here but didn't go through with placing an order, so I can only comment on my experience in stores and nothing else. I really wish I remembered the name of the worker who helped me but he was a tall, dark, 40ish year old man if that narrows it down. He was so knowledgeable about the different types of wood flooring and was so eager to help. He probably spent about an hour with us. I really wanted to place an order because of him but the smart thing for me to do was to keep shopping around before going all in. I was able to find even lighter wood flooring at the shop next door, so I ended up going with them instead.

I began using TopLine Home Improvement in 2022(?) and when I contracted with Tom, Jimmy, Nick, and the Team @TopLine to do some window and door replacements, I was very comfortable with my choice(s). Actually, at first I contacted Renewal By Anderson, and while I am sure that they have a wonderful product, and installation team, I have to say, I have never noticed their trucks or signage in my neighborhood, and they are flipping expensive!
So I reached out to TopLine; which is just a few blocks from my house, and Maureen; who runs the office, scheduled an appointment for me to meet with Nick. Nick shows up a couple of days later, and does a wonderful presentation of OKNA Windows, and I forget the door company or brand, but a longer story short, I called back the next day after processing everything, and my budget, and I hired TopLine to begin the job. And everything was just perfect!
A year later, it was time to replace the roof. Jimmy arrives, and gets up on his ladder, and inspects the site, makes me a quote, and voila! I have a new roof done by Topline!
A year later, I need more windows replaced, and new siding for the house. Who do I call? You got that right! I call Tom @TopLine, and here he comes. TopLine makes my 100 years old house look like a new house, and I am extremely happy that I went with TopLine.

A to Z did our entire kitchen after a kitchen leak from our upstairs neighbors. The project lasted from June -it's very final details completing November ( the bulk of the project was completed in early September). There were a few design mistakes, in some instances felt like a lack of oversight and the normal delays in getting the materials delivered. In the middle of the kitchen project we decided to have them do an update on our bathroom - vanity, mirror, countertop. There were set backs, but these guys were honest about it along the entire process and fixed whatever mistakes ( that are inevitable in construction) when I brought it up to them. We are beyond happy with the outcome and would hire them again without hesitation.
We did an up/down apartment combo with Avi and his team and could not be happier. Their work was on time, on budget and very high quality. Having one firm handle everything was seamless and took so much of the stress surrounding logistics out of the process. Earlier in the week, we had found a bed bug in the master bedroom of our 2 bedroom apartment. I decided to reach out to above and beyond bed bug services and there team did not disappoint. Liz was very helpful in arranging an inspection that same day. Shortly after I received a call from Luis who was very compassionate and forthcoming about the process of eliminating our problem would entail. He was very proactive and took initiative to call me and my family personally to provide relief and make us confident in his teams technique to deal with our issue. One of the solutions above and beyond specializes in is called aprehend, which is a fungal spore to create a barrier that will infect the bugs and eventually dispose of them. With this process we were able to bypass the stress and time constraints of packing up everything before we can attack the issue. An hour after my phone call with Luis, our technician Luke Edward arrived and we were very pleased with his not only his professionalism but knowledge of bed bugs, their behaviors and what to look for moving forward in the process. Edward performed another inspection to in our unit an gave us a breakdown on how he was going to treat our apartment. After his inspection he surmised that we had minimal activity in one of the bedrooms but got to work and treated our whole apartment. Edward's professionalism, kindness, and knowledge really made the beginning stage of this process as easy and stress free as I think it can be for me personally. I cannot thank Luis and his team enough for how they responded to this. Professionalism, knowledge and most importantly care are things that are guaranteed when dealing with above and beyond. I'm very confident this treatment will work and look forward to effective results when they return to make sure we're in the clear.

Don talked my husband through some steps we could take to try and plug any holes and fix the issue on our own if we wanted to but after finding a few more bugs we decided to make an appointment to have professionals help.
Lauren stopped by, did a thorough check of our whole apartment, and ended up calling in someone else to bring additional materials to help ensure our problems were solved. Both she and her husband (it's a family business!) did a great job explaining what they were doing, what they were using, and answer any questions we had. The traps they leave behind and poison they use are childproof and pet safe, and also placed in ways to limit chances of small kids or pets to even get to them.
Their fee was incredibly reasonable, they're communicative, and I finally feel like I can sleep a little easier. They'll be coming back to check-in in a few weeks to make sure there are no new signs of anything and discuss any next steps as needed but we are feeling optimistic and taken care of by friendly, reasonable professionals. Very much recommend them!
Have to give 5 stars for the . response, service, and professionalism I received from squash.I called the office and spoke to Mac about servicing my warehouse after finding carpenter ants. He scheduled someone for the next day. The tech reached out to confirm before the appointment and showed up right on time. Eli is amazing to work with! He was very thoughtful about how to prune Q Gardens' beloved but problematic mulberry tree to best effect for maximizing light over our crop beds. He introduced us to the concept of pruning trees to reduce the sense of protection from predatory birds that they can give rats. His work was efficient and quick -- the pruning and cleaning up was done in just one afternoon. We feel very lucky to have found Eli and TreeTech!

Ethan came for a consultation and I could not be happier with the experience. He was courteous, called ahead to let me know ETA, gave excellent info, and was obviously more concerned with the wellbeing of the tree and surrounding plants than with making a buck. I've been taking my son here for over a decade and I became a patient myself 4 years ago. We've never had a bad experience. The staff are always incredibly professional and friendly. The hygienists are respectful and gentle. Both Dr. Gangi and Dr. O'Conner are exceptional dentists. My son's ortho recommended he have 4 teeth removed bf starting braces and Dr. Gangi called them and said he didn't recommend that and to come up with another plan. They did and years later his teeth look amazing. Dr. Gangi has his patient's best interests in mind. I cannot recommend this office highly enough. They are just fantastic!

Had been searching for a couple of years for a great new dentist and finally found one! It makes such a difference to the whole experience! My son went to Dr.Umanoff for a cleaning and checkup based on a recommendation from my husband who is having extensive dental work done. Each and every one of the office staff and technicians are welcoming, professional and your comfort is a priority to them. Dr. Umanoff is an oral surgeon at the top of his field, his office is state of the art with all modern facilities and most importantly, all work is done in house by him and his staff. I have been a patient with Dentistry by Design for 15 years. In that time I have had several services, including cleanings, implants, crowns, cavities, invisialign, x-rays, etc. They do it all! Lynn is a phenomenal dental hygienist and Michelle, at the front office, is very communicative. I cannot recommend them enough.

I’d been living with neck pain for over 3 years and honestly thought it was something I’d just have to manage forever. After seeing Dr. Juan, I felt real relief in just one session — and by the third visit my pain was like 85% gone, and i am talking about 3 years pain. It still amazes me how quickly he pinpointed the problem and treated it. If you’ve been struggling with long-term pain and nothing else has worked, I can’t recommend this place enough.

I feel new again every time I visit Dr. Adamo. I’m in my mid 60s, a lifetime of working hard gives me stiffness and more pains than I care to count. When Dr. Adamo or the other two staff chiropractors, give me a tuneup. I feel great! Like a new young man! He’s a body mechanic with x-ray vision and hands of gold.

In addition to advice about eating habits, Carol taught me Emotional Freedom Techniques, which is also called tapping, and that really helped me deal with my digestion issues. I went to see Dr. Cohen for some serious nerve pain, and he ran a nerve conduction test to figure out what was going on. His approach was super helpful, and I’ve been feeling a lot better since starting treatment. Recommend seeing him, he knows what he is doing.

Kings bay veterinarian is the place to take your pet. I have a black lab , that has a lot of issues ,since she was a puppy . I went to a few veterinarians in Brooklyn, and I didn’t feel comfortable with them at all.

the location was in 67 bayridge brooklyn I highly not recommend this vet when it comes to safe a life i felt ignore. I went there with my sphinx cat looking for help crying in pain the vet didn't even took a look at her just sent the receptionist to the front to tell me about the prices of their bussiness. instead of helping me to safe my cat she was only 5 years the only thing they said was take her to the humane society in Manhattan we don't take walk in after all that time my cat died in the way the humane vet said it was a blood clot she died in pain that if at least this place woulded stabilize her to calm her with the pain she woulded made it alive what would a pain killer cost I woulded paid if this place really care for cats in need of help why the vet didn't even check her and help me out she probably would've being here today with me. I won't recommend it is more about the money than the care of a pet sorry. they left me with a bad feeling of their way of receiving animal at their place.

Came here based on reviews. The cat was promptly tested, given injections and diagnosed with the disease. We came in on time, and doctor Sergei advised in detail, explained what to feed and maintain health. I also noticed problems with my teeth, which no veterinarian told me about and no one even checked. The cat felt better immediately after visiting the clinic, I recommend it! We have been on maintenance therapy for a month now, and his condition has improved. Many thanks to all the staff, we will only come here ❤️

I love Park Slope Vet Center. They have cared for a few of my cats over the years. They are compassionate and supportive. Always giving good advice without judgement or trying to sell you services. When our last cat was at the end of her life they helped us understand our options and gave our sweet girl a peaceful end to her suffering when it was time. I’d recommend this vet to anyone. They also work with many TNR groups which is so needed in NYC.

I love Pet Super Nanny and the staff. It's clean and spacious. The owner is great and cares a lot about providing a high standard of care for the dogs. My dog gets excited every time we walk over for daycare and comes home happy and exhausted.

The flows are inventive, the adjustments are supportive, the dharma talks are inspiring. My practice has greatly transformed and advanced since becoming a student of OYH. Really nice facility in BedStuy. Did the first timer trial, and I went 5 times. I kinda wish I did 7 days in a row. Very nice teachers for the flow classes that I took. Can't say enough about how well kept it is. As someone who doesn't do yoga very often, I felt good about being there. If I had it in my budget, I would keep going.

A beautiful space for community and movement. Prenatal and postnatal class with Martine has been a life saver and wonderful form of connection with other new parents. She’s so intentional about curating class and a space where all feel welcome and seen. I recommend to anyone, but especially those who are pregnant or have given birth.
With in minutes of the first class of Yoga For Strong Bones, Jennifer showed me how to sit comfortably crosslegged with multiple props. I told her that I felt my investment was worth it with just that. She made me more aware of holding tension and releasing tension and breathing more effectively. She led us through 12 poses that are alleged, according to the NY Times, to prevent and even reverse osteoporosis. Jennifer brings her own special sauce by reading from a book of Rupi Kaur poems and creating a peaceful space that is calming to the nervous system.I am so appreciative for this amazing group of women that I share this experience with each week!

I am so grateful that I found Elena and Brighton Yoga Studio. Elena is the best Yoga teacher I have experienced. I have tried other yoga classes, but none could compare to the way she thoroughly explains each pose. I see all the students at Brighton Yoga studio have been there for years and enthusiastically keep coming back! Megan was great! The right amount of intensity and core work as I am returning from a hip injury. She was very attentive and gave adaptations when needed.
Megan has got a great energy and demeanor and she’s an excellent knowledgeable teacher. She helps you use the out breathing to directly strengthen your core. She understands the importance of focusing on the engaged parts of your body, as you do the exercises and of visualizing it while feeling it, whether it’s the direction of your tailbone or the expanding of the ribs, she helps you understand more deeply. She really knows her stuff.

She doesn’t just guide you through pilates -- she understands the body as something layered, mechanical, and deeply individual. She approaches the physical in constant negotiation with the mind, reminding you, through movement and precision, that the body's organization is not just anatomical but also philosophical. I left the bright, warm studio aware of my habits and my possibilities. This resource right here in Crown Heights is a real community gem. This pilates studio is such a special place! My time with my instructor, Sara, has greatly enriched my wellbeing. I truly cannot say enough good things. It's an open, welcoming space -- very come-as-you-are and leave feeling better and standing straighter. The staff is super knowledgeable about the human body and creative about ways to keep movement fun/sessions interesting while adjusting for my specific needs. I appreciate the friendliness of the instructors and the quiet, focused environment. I love that women and men of all ages are included, making the most of physical movement and taking good care of their bodies.
A little progress each time has added up to a world of difference in my body and how I feel. I've noticed huge improvements in my posture and how I carry myself. Also, upon reflection, when I began this practice 18 months ago, I had such severe shoulder pain (upper trapezius) that I was getting botox injections to calm those muscles. I also had joint pain in my knees and a dull lower back ache on one side. Within three months of doing pilates at Streamline, I realized one day that I was pain free most of the time. Sometimes a repetitive motion can still cause an ache, but those are addressed during sessions and I always leave feeling better. I've also learned how to prevent the aches and stressors that my body is prone to. So much comes down to alignment and proper support during desk work or sleeping. This is vital information that has enriched my day-to-day life so much.

Honestly the best Pilates studio I’ve been to in more than 20 years of attending classes on and off. So many Pilates classes I’ve attended over the years have felt like light exercise at best, but The Fit In’s are a serious workout that leave your muscles feeling it afterwards (and have even left me sweating one or twice).

Nice ambient small Pilates studio, the sounds of the music blended with the enthusiastic instructor was too much, great for hardcore intense focusing. the sliding pads are difficult to manage and can be dangerous of not held on correctly. Please beware full and take the beginners class if your a first time, don't just jump into the deep end.
Have been coming here since I got cleared after my ACL surgery last year (doing PT as well). All instructors have been lovely and really helped me get my knee back to normal! Love this studio ?
Capri is a treasure! He was thorough, intuitive, calm, and I love that he talked me through why I was experiencing certain pain and tightness. I also really appreciate that he gave a few stretches and easy lifestyle changes I can do to help alleviate that tension. He really takes care of the entire person - best massage I’ve ever had!
I have gone here for pre / post natal massage and have since just kept on coming back (I try for every month). It is THAT good. Have never had such professional massages before that leave you feeling great and fully stretched and relaxed. Have recommended this place over and over again to my friends.

Patricia is very attentive and skillful at CranioSacral Therapy. I used to be a practitioner so I know that I’m picky and have high expectations. She totally meets and exceeds my standards and has such a big heart for healing the mind and body together. After my fall, I knew to reach out to her for concussion symptoms and her patience and expert skills were so welcomed. I am healing and I know I will return to her to support me in this process. Trauma is something that has to be held and the intelligence of the body knows what to do, but the therapist has to have the right touch to allow it to happen. Highly recommend her and Haven.

Best massage I’ve had in a long time! Molly was amazing, was able to provide deep tissue massage and found sore muscles I didn’t even feel coming into the massage. Definitely coming back soon.
I’m not a fan of massages but this one was a massage to remember. A massage you will get like no other I instantly felt relief the moment she started . She took her time and addressed every area with tension very reassuring made everything super comfortable for me and even educated me on things I didn’t know about pertaining to the muscles I enjoyed my session and will return this was definitely a 10/10 experience I’m telling you book her you will not be disappointed.

This place was great! Dr. Suresh Kotte was supportive, knowledgeable and helpful. I came in with shoulder tendinitis and feel healed after 6 weeks.
I started to really notice my shoulder pain as my daughter got older. It was becoming difficult to pick her up out of her crib and out of the car. I sought help and found Downtown Physicians. Initially I was diagnosed by Christian. He took one look at my posture and my profession (working at a computer all day) and diagnosed me. I received a trigger point injection which provided immediate relief. However, I wanted more. My fitness goal is to be able to pick up my daughter so I began physical therapy with Abby and her team. It was difficult to begin with but I persisted. I got stronger and more flexible after 8 weeks. I’m happy to say I have a much greater range of motion and I feel much stronger after doing PT with Abby at Downtown Physicians. I would recommend their services to anyone in pain.

I have tendinitis in my left foot. Dr. Wing did some ultrasound and manipulation and gave me take-home exercises to do. After even just one visit my foot is feeling much better. Can’t recommend this office enough.

The cramping in my calves at night was so severe it would wake up my whole family. Treatment here identified circulation issues contributing to the nerve problems. Sleep has improved dramatically since addressing both the nerve and vascular components.

This is a delayed review, but one I should have left a long time ago. The kind folks here were absolute life savers during a serious health problem that had left me sidelined from work and life for many months. They were able to get me back on track and healed. It can be a bit pricey depending on insurance coverage, but for me it was worth every penny—I had been to a (cheaper) PT previously for months with absolutely zero progress. I owe 5 Point my sincere gratitude.

I reached out to Neighborhood Health because of persistent daily headaches. After consistent sessions the headaches went away, and the acupuncture also helped with other muscular issues. My experience at the clinic has been really great.

Brooklyn Acupuncture Medicine resolved months of excruciating hip pain and, more recently, plantar fasciitis. I thought at my age I was facing hip replacement! Within a couple of treatments Rez was able to dramatically reduce both problems and I'm able to resume a full and pain-free life. She and her team are skillful, compassionate and welcoming as well. Even the atmosphere is a healing one.
Nicole is terrific! I had a pinched radial nerve and seeing her regularly has eliminated my pain and helped me to get back to work. Even with the pain behind me, I really enjoy monthly maintenance sessions with her for preventative care. I recommend her 100%.

Devante was phenomenal. I thoroughly enjoyed the massage and feel significantly more loose in my problem areas after he worked on me. One of the best massages I've had and feeling like I can get back to activities I felt limited in.
My daughter was diagnosed with sleep apnea. My husband and I did not want to go through with the adenoidectomy recommended by the ENT physician. While I was seeing Caitlin for a back issue, she mentioned there was a pediatric acupuncturist. I had no idea kids could be treated with acupuncture.
Needless to say, Archana is amazing. My daughter's snoring and sleep apnea have been nonexistent. I've noticed a difference in her daytime energy and nasal congestion. We are so happy we did not have to undergo unnecessary surgery. I'm so happy we could tackle it holistically. Archana is patient, kid-friendly, and knowledgeable. I came into this school without any knowledge of driving but had very patient instructors (especially Abraham) throughout my journey. I took a total of 15 lessons and was able to pass my exam within 3 weeks.

I learned how to drive at Blue Steel. At first, I didn't have the best experience, but my instructor was switched. With the help of Ms. Rose, I successfully passed my road test. She is calm and patient, and I prefer the car she taught me in.
Passed my first try, instructor was very accommodating and detailed with his directions. Got to go around a good amount of Brooklyn too so I believe going to these lessons are worth it.
