J.R is an amazing driving instructor. He is very patient and knowledgeable and does not waste your time. I subtracted 1 star due to the first instructor I had who wasted my entire first lesson talking, some of the things he spoke about were irrelevant to me obtaining my license. After I switched to JR it was smooth sailing. He’s also great with communication and making sure I got the necessary practice in needed areas and also sent videos to help.
I have been taking lessons at Drive Rite Academy for the past month and a half and have had a great experience! All of the instructors have been professional, patient, and effective in their feedback and explanations. I had the pleasure of learning with Patrick, Ricardo, Skylar, JR, and Avery. JR in particular was good at maximizing my lesson time. He also sent helpful links and references after the lesson for me to learn more on my own time.
I highly recommend both instructors I practiced with, Avery and Jeremy.
I came to Drive Rite for a driving refresher, and they taught me things I didn’t even know I didn’t know. 😂
Things like:
-How to properly adjust my seat for driving
-The relationship between geometry and driving
-And, most importantly, they each assessed my skill level and tailored the lesson to support my growth
Both instructors were patient, knowledgeable, and intentional about meeting me where I was and helping me build my skills.
