I came in today so tired of facing obstacles in life and the healing process that’s not happening fast enough, until we met Mr. Travis, a knowledgeable and well experienced employee who stopped at nothing to help me smile and know that you can’t fail in life, unless you quit!

I wish more people like him worked in the medical feels, because the number one problem in the medical field is “ PAIN”, and the greatest cure for pain is amazing customer service and love that amazing people like Travis have no problem displaying to strangers like me!

Sheryl the lash expert and her daughter Shanee are wonderful. My lashes have lasted 3 weeks. With very little lashes falling out. Only problem is I’ve called 4 times and can’t get them. And no call backs? 2nd pic is since July 20? So still pretty impeccable as today is Aug 15!!
Chris and the whole installation team for the floors were amazing. Justin and the whole installation team for the windows were also incredible. Before I got the new windiest, I would lay upstairs in my bedroom during a 90 degree day and be so hot. My AC system was working overtime and my electrical bill was way higher. Now it can be 100 degrees and you put your hand on the inside of the window and it’s cold. My electric bill has gone done and it’s so comfortable up in my bedroom on a hot day. I would 1000 percent recommend West Shore homes. If any one needs anything done that they can do, book them!!!
Jennifer was so kind and amazing! The scalp treatment was great. Super relaxing and also very informative. I’ve never seen images of my scalp before and now I know how to better take care of my hair. My hair feels amazing after the treatment as well.

He was open to all my concerns and left me with arguably (though there is no argument to be had) the best haircut I have ever received. 5 stars isn’t enough and I will be back.

I have gone all 30 years of my life not knowing I could look this good until I met this other lady with curly hair at my restaurant job. I asked her where she cut her hair, and she told me she did it herself and gave me her card. I’ve gone to so many people and taken so many chances and just thought, “it’s time for a cut. What’s another chance?” I explained to her what I wanted and she delivered flawlessly. I will never ever ever go anywhere for a haircut EVER again. (And it was affordable, which is amazing bc curly specialists charge up to $200) for reference, I range from 3a to 3b curl pattern. So good. Forever grateful for you kelley!

I moved to Jacksonville a few years ago but had not found a barber. I really needed a haircut and found Buster's on Google maps. I called and left a VM asking if they had an opening either today or later in the week. I got a call back from Buster letting me know that he had an opening if I could get there soon so I drove over immediately. I was welcomed upon arriving and sat down right after. I described what I was looking for and Buster knocked it out of the park. I have had my hair cut by the same person for at least 35 years, my barber back in Illinois. I was traveling back and forth for a number of reasons so I always go for a cut on those trips. Now I needed to find someone that I feel confident is going to give a great cut and believe that I have found the place. The shop is clean and Buster does a great job and we had some pleasant conversation, always good!

Great spray tan! My spray tan gave me the perfect natural glow. It looked even, never orange, and felt really flattering and beach-ready. What impressed me most was how well it lasted through a full week of going in and out of the pool and ocean. It still faded nicely and evenly. Highly recommend if you want a beautiful, natural-looking tan that actually lasts!
I booked the bridal package which allowed me to get a tan to test how I would like it a month before my wedding and then a tan for my wedding. I have never felt more confident in my skin! It looked so natural and beautiful. No streaks or color gathering in some places more than others. So even and I got so many compliments! Also as far as the tanning experience goes, despite it being a very vulnerable thing, this was such a safe and comfortable experience!! I cannot recommend Ageless Tans enough!!

We have enjoyed Four Seasons for years. Super clean, great staff and very knowledgeable. The new Red Light therapy is a great tool for skin texture and helped a back injury with 3 treatments. People who don’t tan easily can with the high pressure format with level 5 units. Tanning without burning.
Maya is wonderful. She has such high energy & makes u feel like a friend. She is very helpful & knowledgeable on all of the products. She does a wonderful job. This is not my normal location but I wish it was because they do a way better job than the one I go to.

I just want to share my experiences at Sundays Sun Spa. It's very good. The red light therapy is helping my skin improve in appearance and I even feel better generally. I have come to know the staff, Kaya, Jordan, Danielle, Zoe and Kali, and they are very helpful and kind and extremely polite. I highly recommend Sundays.

I had never received a medical pedicure before and I was nervous because I suffer from neuropathy in my legs and feet. I was in Jacksonville for my yearly Mayo check up and I found Kathy the owner of Pampered Foot. After speaking briefly with her I was completely at ease and Kathy was very nice and she understood my situation. Wow!! Kathy was gentle and explained what she was going to do prior so I wouldn’t flinch and it was ABSOLUTELY amazing. She massaged my feet and calves bring back circulation which lasted till I had to fly home. Kathy, I will see you again next Feb. 2027 after my Mayo appointment. A++++++

Haven’t had the best of luck finding a good nail salon in Jacksonville yet but my friend wanted to get our nails done in town center and walked into POSH. Both of us had awesome nail techs that were able to give us exactly what we wanted. Both did an amazing job and definitely will come back again.

Had my first appointment at Whit Collins Studio today and it was so pleasant! I saw Sheila and she was beyond sweet and very thorough. I really appreciated the time and effort she took to make sure my service was comfortable as well as her knowledge on what products I would need to keep my skin happy in between appointments. Remarkably great detail and knowledge from Kohl with the Sweeney team. We had another firm re-plumb our house and there have been some issues with the choices made by that firm. I asked that Kohl come and inspect the work and, though much of it really was up to code, there were several trouble spots Kohl saw that we overlooked by the other firm. Kohl was super knowledgeable and took his time evaluating the other's work. No doubt -- the Sweeney plumbing team is coming back to make things right.

They are amazing, professional, on time , great work! It’s nice to see in this day and age. I bought a place that had many hidden problems. I went to the Home and Patio show in Jax and pick a pen with their logo on it.
One of my problems happened when I started to repaint. in one spot I had a vent fan with no ducting behind it. I was shocked and I didn't know how to start. I saw the pen and gave them a try. THANK GOD I did. They can out the within a few days. One looked at the A/C (it needed lots of work ie. the ducting was not attacked to the walls). I had them check the electrical system out. Sure enough, it was from the 1990's and not up to code.
Their team started work the next week. They were professional, kind and very knowledgeable. I'm so happy with all their work. I feel safe with the upgraded electric and the A/C is cold and quiet. I highly recommend them. The price was great and so was the whole experience. I did not feel like I was cheated, it was a value to have the work down by people that know their craft.

SIR Grout is truly outstanding! My bathroom shower looks completely new. Our technician Lamont worked all day creating something beautiful. He informed us from start to finish the entire restoration process. To include providing us tips on how to maintain our shower to prevent moisture buildup. He is truly an exceptional person! Installer Mr. Jackson came in and did an excellent job and repairing the screen door handle to find out that a little bit more was wrong with it but all in all he fixed the entire problem and left with the door working nice and smoothly so I give them five out of five for him sending him to get the situation taken care of.

Was quoted a decent price but wanted a second opinion on plan. He said that trapping wouldn't help and that best option would be to take care of the treeline. Gave me a recommendation and said I'll only recommend trapping if that's sorted and you still have an issue. How many people these days have that much integrity? Would recommend him to anyone. GPE maintains my apartment complex. Today some debris flew up and busted my car window out. Within an hour, the crew lead had cleaned all the glass from the window, inside the car (even removing my children’s car seat and re-installing), and from the ground… even covered my window with plastic. I then received a call from their manager that someone would be coming to replace the window same day, and he also apologized several times. Earthworks performed a miracle in my backyard, which was an out of control, weed and vine fest that had settled for an eternity in that area. They transformed it into the most serene, glorious, colorful and beautiful space. I couldn't be happier! I'm so glad we had Leslie design our backyard. Not only does she have an encyclopedic knowledge of plants and trees, but she improved on my basic ideas a thousand fold. Her warmth and lovely personality made that part of the process a breeze. As for the guys who did all the back breaking cleanup and installation, Noah and Jay were phenomenal! Their work ethic was tenacious and steadfast and they always made time to answer all my questions along the way with a completely friendly vibe. Best money we ever spent.
I was in need of an irrigation pump and the person that cuts my lawn recommended James Sneed. I called and right away James knew exactly what size pump i needed. I also asked about a wifi controller, James said he could install that as well. I sent James a couple pictures and he scheduled an install for today. The install went quickly and I was extremely pleased with James' knowledge and quick install. He guaranteed his work and recommended I call him if I ever need any repairs.
Water had gotten underneath the pavers in our driveway from the gutter downspout. I called Earthscape and chatted with the owner, Mike. He then put me in touch with Orlando the company’s operation director who scheduled an appointment to come out to look at the scope of the work. Orlando told my husband and I what to expect in fixing the driveway pavers, then recommended burying the down spout and adding a pop off value in the lawn to alleviate any future issues with water seeping beneath the pavers. Charles and the folks at Arlington Green Mowers are Absolutely excellent and I couldn't be happier with their service. My brother passed away in November 2021 and left me his property. It took two years to process through the courts. Charles took care of the property for me during that process. I live in Atlanta and Charles went out of his way to keep me updated on any issues with the property, which he did not have to do. He even boarded up a window that had been broken and saved me a lot of time and money by preventing me from having to drive 5 1/2 hours to repair it. The men showed up when they said they would and completed the work agreed upon. They even did a few extras that helped me out a great deal. I've been searching for a good dental office for the longest, and I finally found one. I've had three appointments so far, and each visit has been awesome. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Doan is a compassionate and capable dentist - - I’ve had two cleanings at this practice (Dawn is the BEST for a dental cleaning!) - yesterday was my first visit to get a filling and a new crown. Both the dentist and the dental assistant were communicative throughout the procedures, which alleviated my anxiety. They were efficient and thorough as well. I was blown away by their use of camera technology that resulted in a brand new crown before I left the office! I also received post-procedure photo explanation of the work that was completed, and I received info about what to expect over the next few days as well as possible future care requirements. In addition, Amy keeps track of the schedule and the insurance! Grateful for the compassionate, capable care I have received at Sandpiper Dental - they are worth the drive for me!
My experiences with Dr. Shaeffer have been exceptional. He communicates well with the patient and does not do any unnecessary work or procedures. It has been a number of years now and everything that he has done has been done well and proven to be correct with no problems. Raquel is also a rock star with administration helping with insurance and appointments.
Never thought I’d be writing a glowing 5-star review about a root canal, but here we are. Honestly, I’d rather fight a bear than hear the words “you need a root canal,” but this office somehow made the whole experience surprisingly pleasant.
The staff was incredibly nice from the moment I walked in, and the place was so clean I felt like I was entering a luxury spa for teeth. Everyone was calm, friendly, and reassuring while I sat there questioning every life decision that led me to needing dental work.
The procedure itself was quick, smooth, and way less painful than my Google search history suggested. At one point I almost fell asleep, which feels illegal during a root canal.
10/10 experience. If I ever need another root canal, which I sincerely hope I don’t, this is absolutely where I’m going.

Dr. Dodd (Riley) is great! He takes time to understand issues facing his patients and has a depth of knowledge and experience beyond chiropractic care in kinesiology and sports that helps him not only address the issues presented in his office (in my case, lower back disc issues) but also come up with a care program that is easy to follow at home or in the gym. He is focused on helping his patients be able to function so that they can enjoy the activities that they want to pursue. He has much more to offer than just an adjustment. For anyone looking to work toward a healthier, more active live (and not just symptom relief in the moment), I highly recommend Dr. Dodd.

Such a friendly environment. You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. I was weary of trying another alternative besides western medicine but I'm so grateful to have tried something new. I was in a lot of pain and had major issues due to past traumatic experiences. When I found out what my diagnosis was Dr. David and his team with their experience and knowledge helped me make a plan. Weekly adjustments in office and my own exercise at home as helped me live pain free. I look forward to getting better everyday and I am grateful that I foind this practice.

Story time!
For most of my life I dealt with a nasty flat feet and knee pain, I used to severely over pronate my left foot. As a teen I was told by the doctor that surgery would be good because they could recreate the arch, obviously we said not way we are doing this!! So I kept going just wearing inserts that would help with the arch, this made things a little better… This year I decided that I wanted to start running and do a Hyrox competition, so I started to attempt running
When I did my first run of the year I started to experience a horrible pain in my feet and in my ankle Walking was painful and running seemed impossible and I had already signed up for Hyrox in April!!
So I found Dr Nick at premier chiropractic! We discovered that the pain in my ankle and foot wasn’t really coming from my flat meet of ankle, it was coming from my hip that tends to open to the outside causing the knee to rotate incorrectly and my feet to over pronate completely ?
We started therapy by session 2 I was able to see my left arch and walk using my arch! And hold balance on my left feet for over 10 seconds something that never happened before!! Now we have 6 sessions and I was so excited that I decided that I wanted to go run! So I did and it was beautiful! I did 3 kilometers with no pain and completely happy! If this is with only 6 sessions I can’t imagine how I would do with all of them finished!
It’s great to see how going to the right person works, they focus con fixing the cause and works on getting this corrected so you don’t have to think about it again and have the life you want one without pain and limitations due to pain!!
I’ve spent so much money on inserts and orthopedic shoes that I thought that all of my life I would have to use either tennis shoes or horrible arch support sandals, well no more because this girl is growing her own arch! So no more special shoes or sandals for me!!

I am a V.A. patient and never before has the V.A. helped me in the past 25 years as Dr. Jon has in one visit. He xrayed my spine and having the visual explanations for my pain was impressive. Dr. Semegon is amazing! I have three pinched nerves because is stage 3 spinal degeneration. I use to manage my pain with mild opioids. Now, it’s only occasionally that I even need to take Tylenol. Dr. Semegon seems to be an expert at what he does to help his patients.
I highly recommend that before you take the pain pill route, you should go and have a consultation with Dr. Bradley Semegon. You won’t be disappointed!
I went to Amazing Spine care on Dunn Ave, it was more than I could honestly ask for. The people there made me feel welcome. The Spanish lady up front was always making sure I picked best availability for me. If I had to reschedule or was late she always made it simple and stress free. The young lady in the back with the always crisp braids who does the stretching and exercises was Amazing. She make sure I stretch out parts of my back and neck that was hurting. She knows her stuff that’s for sure, Sargo was the therapy guy very nice gentle and happy. A great guy, Doctor James definitely adjusted my back & neck so great, I felt like a new man when I got out the chair. Everyone was very friendly, kind & Really Amazing definitely A 10 out of 10!

My first experience at intracoastal dermatology was outstanding. All personnel were friendly, kind, and very considerate. I felt very comfortable and their knowledge is outstanding. At my second appointment, I felt as if staff had known me for years. I appreciate how kind and informative they are.
Very professional. The people at Coastal Dermatology were kind, patient with my questions and efficient. I had a basal cell carcinoma removed by them last year, and that also went very smoothly. It was my first time being cut on, and they were very good about checking up on me and answering my questions.

Clean, professional and thorough! Emily the PA went above and beyond to complete a skin cancer check for me and explained everything she was doing. The staff was very professional and let me know about my insurance before the exam began so I would know of any out of pocket costs. The office is out of network with my insurance but they are worth the out of pocket cost! Highly recommend this office to anyone looking for quality care.

I have been going to Dr. Pentel for a number of years and she is an excellent dermatologist....has treated me for several skin cancers. Unfortunately she has made changes in the business and the last time I saw her for a consult I felt like she was extremely rushed and didn't really talk to me about what I wanted to know, and was actually kind of short with me, which was not her normal demeanor. Also I feel like her PA is a bit rushed also and not as thorough as I would like.....just in and out very quickly. However...Samantha who does the aesthetic treatments is wonderful and seems to really care about her patients, which is the only reason for the 4 star rating. I've never felt rushed around her. It is really unfortunate that Dr. Pentel's schedule is so tight that she is compromising her patient care ,because I feel she is an excellent physician. I just HATE to be rushed through an appointment like that and made to feel like I am somehow inconveniencing them. Maybe my next experience will be different. Everybody has bad days and good days.
Dr. Huang was very personable, friendly, very thorough, attentive, focused to get to the root of the issue. I’m very encouraged that my symptoms improve under his care!
I was at a loss trying to find help for my son that started to have issues a few months ago and he was at the point of not leaving the house. The last ER visit wrote him off as having FND, which we knew nothing about. It seemed to be a broad diagnosis because they didn't know what was wrong. I Googled FND specialist and Dr Kemp popped up. I watched a few of his videos and thought what the heck lets try it. We are on our second visit and my son is back to himself day by day getting better and better. I would recommend him to everyone and the skeptics will change their minds after one visit!

We've been bringing our pets here since 2021. Dr Cox and the staffs are super friendly and welcoming, our dogs are always happy to see them. It is sad we moved but if we could we would come here for all of our vet visits.
This is a great place to take your pets for animal care. I have been to several vets in the area and have finally found the kind of vet I have been looking for. I have had the pleasure of having Dr Huitt take care of my girl, Ivalyn. Dr H is very caring and kind person. You can tell he really cares about you and your pet....you're not just another #. The staff are nice and very helpful and the place is spotless. I highly recommend CLAH to take care of your babies you will not be disappointed!!!!!

The staff is very efficient and kind starting upon entry and throughout the visit.. Dr November is great with our challenging Tootsie and listens to all concerns and questions. This level of care has been consistently excellent throughout our 33 years and 7 dogs.
My dog has been going here for the last 3 years and we love Oceanway. My boy is reactive so the employees are super helpful & understanding in making both of us feel safe. He always warms up to them by the end of the appointment and Jessica is always a huge help. We won’t ever go anywhere else or at least, we go wherever Jessica goes :)
HIGHLY recommend! Dr. Zalud is truly wonderful. She will educate you on what is going on with your pet and is happy to spend as much time as you need to ask your questions and get answers. She will give you treatment *options* and explain the pros and cons of each. She has never recommended unnecessary treatment. When I once asked for an unnecessary test (I'm a bit of a worrier), she gave her recommendations and the logic behind them. When I was too paranoid to take her advice, she performed the (nonintrusive) test to give me peace. She was right. He didn't need the test, but she still made me feel listened to and understood. I started going to Companion on a recommendation by a roommate who lived 5 minutes from their office. I've since moved and although they are now 40 minutes away from my home, I still drive there for Gryffindor's visits. The entire staff is genuinely kind, caring, and honest. They don't try to sell you on the products they carry. I will keep driving out of my way to stay with this establishment for as long as I am within a few hours drive. Side note: Very reasonably priced!
I cannot say enough good things about this vet! I have to be completely honest, most of the time, I walk into a vet ready not to like them. And I know that's not fair, but way too often vets do not truly care about the animals and just try to guilt you into purchasing everything under the sun. I can tell you, Wonderwood Animal Hospital is not like that! These are some of the most genuine, caring people I've ever met. I've never trusted someone with my animals' care so much. They won me over, times 10! Additionally, their prices are very reasonable and even have some discounts for patients that use their online pharmacy. From start to finish, they were just wonderful. From the receptionist, to the patient coordinator, to the doctor.

Dr. Moore and the entire staff are wonderful. They have treated our Havanese since we moved to Jax, several years ago . ( for allergies, routine care, torn ACL and misc. illnesses.) They truly take a personal interest in their patients. The office is quick to respond to questions and the Dr. and vet techs are knowledgeable & skilled clinicians . We have taken our two dogs to St. Bernard’s for about 7 years now. We have been very happy with the care they’ve both received through preventive care, cancer care, and other surprise illnesses/care needs. We have especially appreciated Dr. Sadler’s compassion and communication, but are thankful for the entire staff and team of vets!
I judge a place by my dogs reactions and the dogs LOVE going there. One place that I took them to for the same services I had to drag them in. Not at Birch. They’re excited to go. They love the staff and they always come back hyped up
Always a good experience at Ft Caroline Animal Clinic, have been going there for years. Our cat Sunny just had an abscess, Dr. Lincoln cleaned it out and Sunny was quite calm about it.
We were extremely fortunate to find this vet. My little man was not acting himself and we had 2 different vet offices we were using before finding this vet clinic. Neither of his vets were listening to me just running blood work and telling me he was healthy and fine. When I stumbled on this vet on Google I called and even as a new patient they welcomed up with in a day with a new appointment. They listened to what I had to say and actually put their hands on him and not just run blood work. I was advised to head straight to the ER with him to get MRI. I called back the next day bc the we was inconclusive and a different Dr at this clinic met with me and also actually put her hands on him. Together we reviewed his previous vets reports, the ers reports and she felt something in his stomach area. If this vet just did what everyone else was doing I don't think Devin would be with me today. She was thorough, listened and we weren't just an appointment to her. It's been almost a year and Devin is doing good even with a diagnosis of lymphoma bc these ladies take the time and care even when they are booked to help you. Highly recommend this clinic and staff

I feel genuinely compelled to write this review because this experience stayed with me.
My dogs are my everything — especially Lily, who has always been extremely dramatic when it comes to nail trims. Like, Olympic-level anxiety. I was always told keeping nails short is important for a dog’s comfort, so thinking I was being a good pup mom, I convinced myself the benefits outweighed her temporary panic attacks. Still… it never fully sat right with my heart.
The moment I walked into Mel’s spa, I felt a calm I don’t usually feel in grooming situations. The space was spotless, peaceful, and welcoming — and seeing happy, relaxed pups just casually living their best lives inside instantly put me at ease. Right then and there, I knew in my soul my baby would be okay.
A few minutes later, I came back fully prepared to be tackled at the door by a frantic dog charging at me like a tiny linebacker — nails half done, eyes bulging, trauma unlocked. Because… that’s usually how this goes.
Instead? I was absolutely FLOORED.
Lily was calm. Happy. Chill. Like she’d just come back from a spa retreat instead of a nail trim. I honestly had to check that this was, in fact, my dog.
And then — as if that miracle wasn’t enough — Mel told me Lily only needed three nails trimmed. Something I never would’ve known if she hadn’t been honest. She then told me she wasn’t charging me at all and refused to take anything, even after I insisted and told her her care for my dog was priceless.
That level of integrity, compassion, and genuine love for animals is rare — and it speaks volumes about who Mel is and how she runs her business.
So whether you’re a local, just passing through, or here on vacation like I was — from one dog lover to another — your fur babies are in truly exceptional hands here. I only wish I lived closer so I could keep coming back and supporting this business regularly.

I was in search for an ‘activities director’ for my sons 6th birthday party and Grow Kids was recommended in a local mom group. I’m so glad we found Heather because she kept the boys and girls so busy and entertained, even my 2.5 year old was partaking in all the fun! ? The owner Sarah is a wonderful yoga teacher. After coming out of a 5 year baptiste practice, it took a few days before I got used to the slower pace of the sun power practice that the studio offers. But with the right teacher, it has been a very satisfying and challenging flow. The studio has a convenient location right off 9B and parking is easy.They have a wall of mirrors so you can check your stance. And the floors are cushioned so it’s not hard on your joints.I would definitely go back if I didn’t find a studio closer to where I live.

It was my first time trying reformer pilates and Ana was a great instructor! The small class size allowed for personalized instruction and was a fun and rewarding activity to do with a friend!
I have taken several classes along with several private classes and have always been eager to go to them. They do a great job on mixing things up so your workout is never the same. Picture of my dog for attention ?
Mixed filings. I like the classes, I’m new to Pilates. Chris and Emily are favorite trainers. The parking lot should have a sign for compact cars only because people park pick up trucks in front of the studio. Sometimes it’s hard to book a class because it’s a busy studio.
Tom was amazing I still great. First massage in years I was not sore . The staff, the booking process, and of course tom will forever have me in their good graces. I will be back for another massage.

After dealing with two weeks of intense pain from an inflamed pinched nerve, I received an early Mother’s Day gift for three sessions at Massage in Session—and it made a huge difference. The surrounding muscles and tissue were tight and aggravated, but after my session, I left in noticeably less pain.
The therapist's name was Kelly, and she was outstanding. She used trigger points to find my trouble areas and not only addressed my current issue, but treated a previous back injury that had been lingering. If you think this is just a massage, you couldn’t be more wrong. Kelly treated me, stretched me, and took the time to explain how my muscles work together. She also gave me stretches to do at home so I can stay loose and prevent the pain from coming back.
This was more than relaxation—it was real care and real relief for severe neck pain. I left feeling heard, seen, and cared for. I’m excited about returning ro full mobility and highly recommend Massage in Session.

Alex is extremely professional and he gives amazing massages. He is usually available for same day which is amazing and I’ve never really seen that anywhere else. I suffer with chronic back pain as well as fibromyalgia. Getting massages every month has really helped with my pain and it has made me get back to a lot of activities, it has also improved my overall quality of life. Alex truly cares about you and will give you a great massage. I would give higher stars if possible, but five out of five is the best, it’s truly a 10 out of five service I would recommend to everybody.
The best spa I have ever visited in Jacksonville! The masseuses here truly know how to provide a fantastic experience. Additionally, this is the only place I know of that offers a cleaning service after the oil massage. I give it a 6 out of 5 rating just for that!
Penny and Rose are the greatest! Both of them are so sweet, kind, and caring. I had multiple issues with my lowe back and upper back and Penny helped clear it up and actualy found the root of the problem unlike any other PT ive been to. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Merget and the team at Take Control Physical Therapy. From the careful assessment of my overall health, to the customized treatment plan that not only took my injuries and concerns into account, but also considered my busy schedule, timeline for recovery and physical limitations. Within a short time of beginning my treatment with Dr. Merget, I went from constant pain and discomfort to a completely pain free recovery. Where I once couldn’t pick up a towel off of the ground without tears, I am now able to play 18 holes, pick up my 50 lb dog and run a 5k without a trace of pain. This was my first visit. This was really an assessment and planning session. I was impressed with the knowledge that the provider had of my physical condition and history. We discussed goals and potential outcomes. My provider printed out some easy exercises for me to complete at home. What I really liked is that my provider told me that he is the one and only person I will be working with during my visits. I was really impressed when I learned that my provider has a doctorate degree. I am already more comfortable than I have been with any other physical therapy experience in the past.
Request BOB! He doesn’t throw workouts at you, he makes sure they are tailored specifically to you. Everything he does is based on experiences not just theories.
When I went to Brooks, I was experiencing some real pain in my neck and shoulders. After the very first visit, the pain had been measurably reduced. Ashley is a well trained and highly skilled therapist and truly cares about her clients. I highly recommend Brooks for any and all PT requirements.
Mallory was great and helped move me along with my recovery. This was my 4th joint replacement, and Mallory was the best!
I have severe 3rd degree burns over 39% of my body. My legs had little range of motion and my right hand, wrist, and elbow had severely limited range of motion. After a few weeks of Occupational Therapy with Sylvie and Physical Therapy with Melissa and Cara Lee, my range of motion has increased dramatically. My burn Dr is so impressed that she moved my laser surgery on my skin up from June/July to February! This particular Brooks Rehab is outstanding!
I guess like everyone else, we where skeptical at the beginning, however once you start to seeing/feeling the positive results, the dark cloud goes away…

There are moments in life when you meet someone who truly changes the course of your story—and that’s exactly what Jullian has been for our family.
Three years ago, I came to her feeling like something in my body wasn’t right. I didn’t have clear answers, just a deep knowing. She listened in a way that felt rare and genuine. She looked deeper when others didn’t. And because of her, my health didn’t just improve—it transformed in ways I didn’t even think were possible.
Two years ago, I brought my husband to her, and she changed his life too.
But what means the most to me is what she has done for my son. When he started having stomach issues, everything in me as a mother knew something wasn’t right—even when we were told he was “fine.” She never dismissed that instinct. She honored it. My visit today was my first, and I left feeling completely different—in the best way—than when I arrived. Jamie is truly amazing. She took the time to listen to me, understand my concerns, and really hear what I’ve been experiencing with my health.
She showed genuine care and compassion, which made such a difference. It’s clear that she is not only knowledgeable in her field, but that she also has a true passion for what she does. That combination is rare and greatly appreciated.
As I mentioned, I walked out of the office feeling so much better, and that means everything. I’m truly looking forward to my future visits and continuing on this journey to a better, healthier me.
