“Clean and friendly environment and staff. Great Doctors but disappointed in one tech who trimmed my dogs nails way to short causing them to bleed. He had never given anyone trouble trimming his nails through all his 8 years! There was no apology or anything (not even telling me she had cut his quicks) other than telling me that my dog gave the tech some trouble. He will not be going back.“
“My two kitties were in for their annual checkup. Staff is courteous, loving to animals and did their best to make frightened kitties feel safe and at ease. Listened to what you tell them about animals health and made recommendations to resolve any issues. The biggest of course was the treats during and after exam, and all the petting and petting and petting while all the invasive stuff was going on. This is the first time my little female kitty was not terrified and she is 15years old. Thank you Chimney Lakes Animal Hospital. Was easy to get an appointment and prices were reasonable.“

“The second experience there, with my animal was much better than the first.Some things to keep in mind, if you have a sensory processing deficit:1. Get there early enough and with someone to where one of you can take the seat next to the chairs with the natural light in front of the check in desk.2. Be sure vet records are sent from a previous vet before the appointment.3. Write down everything you need to convey, in case there is a barking dog, like this morning (I don’t blame the dog, I was stressed, too). But, without writing everything down in advance, I would have forgotten important details. The dog who was barking was adorable.4. Be sure to wear sensory “dampening” gear you normally need at a Walmart.5. If it is busy in the lobby, ask if you can sit outside. One lady was kind enough to do that today.They will treat you with understanding if they know where you are coming from. I look forward to bringing my Luna (bulldog) and Golden Snitch here again. I hope they will let me drop him off even if he doesn’t need to be sedated. The lobby was much more calm at that pick up time than when I brought him in the mid afternoon.“

“After going to several different vets before finding somewhere we really loved we found ourselves at Mandarin Veterinary. The front office staff is kind and welcoming and they are great with scheduling. The office is always super clean and smells nice, and the wait is always reasonable. Drs Jones and Bernardo and their clinical staff are also top notch, these people have been angels on earth. They have done grooming, cared for my pets routine health issues and have helped us navigate more serious things that required a specialist. They explain everything, never have hidden fees, are upfront and realistic with all sides of care while remaining compassionate. The doctors even call personally to follow up with me and check on my pets. I really can’t say enough great things about mandarin vet clinic.“

“We have been using Alta Bluff Animal Hospital since Holly Berry was just a puppy. She is familiar with the staff (more so than me since it was during the pandemic). Recently, we had an ER visit with a follow up with Dr. Reinhardt. Being a nervous furmom, they were kind enough to work me into their schedule on a very busy Monday. I cannot say enough kind things from the reception staff (Taylor), and vet assistants (Joan). (I'm sorry I can't remember everyone's name). All of you were extremely helpful and considerate of my feelings. As well as the care you provide Holly. It is so hard to know who to trust when it comes to the care of your pets. In my opinion, Alta Bluff did go above and beyond the call of duty. They definitely have my vote of confidence.“

“We usually bring our pets to a low-cost clinic for routine vaccinations, but when our cat got sick last month, and they were not able to see him for over a month out, we called San Marco Animal Hospital, and they were able to see him the very next day.Although there was nothing to be done to save our kitty and we had to say goodbye to him, the staff at San Marco Animal Hospital were nothing but caring and compassionate. They gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye, even though it was near the end of their day.Thank you to everyone there for making what was one of our worst days as comforting as it could be.“
