“Our air conditioning has always struggled to cool the house, especially during summer months. There would be days where it wouldn't even keep up with the heat of the day and the temperature would steadily rise until the sun had set. I had our a/c system completely replaced a few years ago thinking old equipment was our issue, only to end up in the same position.

It turns out our lack of insulation was the problem all along. I reached out to Energy Seal based on the positive reviews and now I'm happily adding one myself. We went with their spray foam application in both the main living area as well as above our garage. I could immediately tell a difference in the way our house felt from the minute they finished their work. There was a strong chemical smell that lingered for a few weeks, but I didn't mind it at all for the difference it made in our home's ability to stay cooled and heated. They did the job almost exactly a year ago, and I constantly think about how I should have done this years ago. They even go as far as to provide a wireless thermostat that goes in the attic, so you can see the difference in average temperatures before and after the application.

I want to give a special shout out to Stan who helped me through the whole process and was absolutely great to work with. He speaks with such confidence in his services and now I can see why. Our a/c now runs significantly less than it ever has and I've noticed the difference on our electric bills as well. Most importantly, our house stays very comfortable even during the hottest summer days. There's also a noticeable difference with being able to hold heat during the cooler months.

I won't lie, it was a costly investment, but as mentioned I would have done it several years ago had I known the difference it made, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. If you're considering spray foam insulation, don't hesitate and reach out to these guys immediately.“

There were definitely some ups and downs throughout the process. Communication at times was not the best, and we did run into issues with the contract not initially being upheld as written. Additionally, some of our interactions with the office staff regarding finances felt abrasive and, at times, came across as rude. That said, those concerns were eventually addressed and corrected.

On a very positive note, the workmanship itself was wonderful. Mike, our contractor, did an amazing job — we are truly happy with the end result. He was professional, polite, and took the time to walk me through his process while answering all of my questions, which made a big difference.
