“Dr. Doan is a compassionate and capable dentist - - I’ve had two cleanings at this practice (Dawn is the BEST for a dental cleaning!) - yesterday was my first visit to get a filling and a new crown. Both the dentist and the dental assistant were communicative throughout the procedures, which alleviated my anxiety. They were efficient and thorough as well. I was blown away by their use of camera technology that resulted in a brand new crown before I left the office! I also received post-procedure photo explanation of the work that was completed, and I received info about what to expect over the next few days as well as possible future care requirements. In addition, Amy keeps track of the schedule and the insurance! Grateful for the compassionate, capable care I have received at Sandpiper Dental - they are worth the drive for me!“

“Dr. Prater is truly exceptional. When a veneer that another dentist had placed came off, I was completely distraught. She was able to work me in the very same day, which meant more to me than I can express.
From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was kind, empathetic, and professional. They made an upsetting situation feel manageable and calm.
Dr. Prater is not only incredibly skilled, but so compassionate. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients. And Sherry, the hygienist, is just as wonderful — warm, gentle, and attentive.

“Never thought I’d be writing a glowing 5-star review about a root canal, but here we are. Honestly, I’d rather fight a bear than hear the words “you need a root canal,” but this office somehow made the whole experience surprisingly pleasant.

The staff was incredibly nice from the moment I walked in, and the place was so clean I felt like I was entering a luxury spa for teeth. Everyone was calm, friendly, and reassuring while I sat there questioning every life decision that led me to needing dental work.

The procedure itself was quick, smooth, and way less painful than my Google search history suggested. At one point I almost fell asleep, which feels illegal during a root canal.

10/10 experience. If I ever need another root canal, which I sincerely hope I don’t, this is absolutely where I’m going.“
