I brought my 3 year old Australian cattle dog here and they did an AMAZING job. Rusty is a handful to groom, I've only ever had one other successful groomer and she unfortunately is no longer in our area so I had to find a new business to go to.Rusty had gone longer than usual without a bath, and I took him in on a rainy day after he had played in some puddles, so believe me when I say he was grimy and stinky. He's a high energy breed so he also likes to run around and not be restrained, and he hates having his paws touched. After reading reviews I was a little nervous about this place. The owner must have been having a bad day because my husband and I were very friendly but she did not interact with us too much. However, we were not there to make friends. She did an excellent job on my sweet little Lexi, a Shih Tzu. I am very pleased. I need to cut her mustache a bit shorter but she has never done her before so does not know what I like. Thank you Shelba,

I always recommend Shelby’s Grooming to everyone. I use to live in Tallahasse Florida and drove 3 1/2 hours to Jax to have my 2 fur babies Jack and Frances (Frodo) groomed by Shelby.Both dogs were rescued, Frodo had no eyes, found her in a garbage bag. Jack rescued from Atlanta Humane society, where 250 ShitZu’s were retrieved from a woman overbreeding for profit. He lived in a cage, outside packed full of dogs in horrible conditions.I promised them both that I would never allow another human being to hurt them again.After years of searching for a groomer, I found Shelby through word of mouth.
