The people here are fantastic. They do an amazing job. I am always happy with the service. The salon is beautiful and the people who work there are friendly and very talented. I usually have a hard time finding a salon that does my nails correctly and they get it right every time. The owner is very attentive and checks to make sure you’re happy. They serve complimentary drinks, coffee, soda, wine, champagne and mimosas. Very relaxing atmosphere. Glad I have found Glamour Nails. They do walk ins but it’s better to book an appointment online.

TLDR; Alex is AMAZING. Recently I went to a popular local salon that's primarily known for its fun fashion colors. That might have been a mistake. After asking for a beige balayage with a shadow root and grey coverage (and showing a picture of what I wanted), I ended up with muddy brown hair with dark grey streaks. I got home (crying) and with many washes managed to get the grey toner out, leaving me with dense streaky orange highlights all over. I started looking for someplace trustworthy to fix my color. After seeing Salon Beck's reviews, I called, and was lucky enough to quickly get an appointment with Alex. Somehow she managed to fix my nightmare stripey hair, and turn it into the lived-in beige balayage I'd wanted from the beginning. If you're looking for that easy, stylish, and better than natural look, I cannot recommend Alex more. I'll absolutely be going back to her in the future. Regarding the location - the salon is classically elegant, and has the most comfortable shampoo chairs I've experienced. As far as accessibility, I'm a size 22, and was able to sit comfortably in both the cutting chair and the shampooing chair.
Bryce, the owner-stylist, is an expert, and yet still makes the experience collaborative. He listens, makes recommendations, and sets reasonable expectations which he then completely exceeds! I come in for cut & color and the results last longer than any other salon I’ve visited. I highly recommend Bryce and EBC.
Jeff was awesome!! I got an amazing new haircut and beautiful highlights! First time being there, and Jeff was highly knowledgeable about hairstyles best for me, and is highly trained in color. Jeff and Karen are very nice, and the atmosphere was great! I definitely recommend going in there if you are looking for an exceptional salon.
Samantha Ann is the best!!! I got an appointment with her by chance 3 or 4 years ago and she has been by my side ever since. She suggested that I try extensions because my hair is so thin and it would take minimal hair. It has completely transformed me and given me so much more confidence! Casey is absolutely wonderful to work with, this was my first haircut at a salon and he was spectacular with helping me figure out exactly what style I was looking for. He’s got major skills and is an amazing artist. On top of that, the communication about service, styles, and types of cuts that Albert provided prior to the appointment was an unexpected surprise. I had my first haircut with Travis today, and at last I’ve found the barber of my dreams. As a nonbinary person, it’s been a struggle to find someone who treats me just like I’m any other person when I explain that I want a men’s cut AND give me an absolutely amazing haircut. 11/10 would recommend Travis to anyone of any gender who wants a super sharp gentlemanly cut!
I go to Taylor Vickers and she is genuinely the best stylist I have ever had. She makes perfect suggestions and listens to everything I want for my hair. I followed her from her last salon because she is one out of a million. I recommend her all the time and she always kills it.

I was visiting from out of town and wanted to pick up a little something for my husband, who rocks a pretty sweet mustache. I stopped by this barber shop to see if they had any mustache wax. The barber didn’t sell any, but he went above and beyond by giving me a brand-new container of what he personally uses! Such a kind and thoughtful gesture. It's rare to meet people like that, and it left such a positive impression. What a great guy! If I lived here, this would definitely be my husband's go-to barber! Highly recommend!
Seriously? Seriously. I have never received a spray tan before. Not only is Haley sweet and adorable, she is amazing at her job. I am a very pale skinned person and I was nervous about the shade change. I look gorgeous! I am a bronzed goddess (I feel like one anyway) color was perfect, application was flawless and quick, Haley was very very helpful answering any questions I had. My only qualm is that I am now addicted to spray tans. I hope to never be porcelain again!

Welcomed to come tan. The rooms and lobby is clean and with odor. The wait is normally very minimal.
Wanted a quick tan before a party and found this salon online. Walked in and they helped me pick the right option since I never done it before. Place was clean and didn’t smell like chemicals which I liked. The staff showed me how everything works and made sure I was comfortable. The tan came out natural looking and not orange like I was scared of. They had good packages too if you want to come more often. Didn’t feel judged or anything like that. Real good experience and will be back next time I want a glow.

My gel x. She took her time and slayed the nail design I requested. I loved how the other nail techs and clients all chatted with us which was good vibes all around . Andie also sent me home with care instructions , cuticle oil and booked my next appointment which is so convenient .

other stylists, I went into the appointment expecting her to do a complicated routine with a ton of products, but she was able to get my hair looking amazing and with more volume and defined curls than I’ve ever had before—all with just gel, a little mousse, and some water. When you have an appointment with Cass, you feel really cared for. She’s thoughtful and talented and I just cannot believe all the beautiful energy she puts into her work (growing her own flowers/botanicals, distilling her own hydrosols… ? ). I’ve had two facials with her now, and have purchased some of her amazing products (which she doesn’t even try to sell you!), and will be back for more. Long overdue review - Harley is amazingggg!!! I had never tried cryo body contouring before reaching out to him and WOW, what a game-changer. Harley took the time to explain how everything works, what to expect, answer all my questions, etc. Ive done it multiple times now and can't shut up about it to all my friends. Couldn't recommend enough! Plus, he's just so welcoming and wonderful to be around.

I love the skincare approach that Sharon and Andrea take, emphasizing being gentle with your skin. Andrea's facials are fantastic. She creates a peaceful atmosphere and gives you plenty of time and attention. Andrea is truly passionate about skincare and always happy to answer any of my questions.
I've been using Andrea's sister's Dzialo skincare products for about 2 years and they are better than anything else I've tried. My husband even notices a difference. I keep it fairly low maintenance, using 5 core products: Trevi, Convertimini, Mira, Puro, and Solare as a tinted moisturizer with SPF. I like that my skincare routine is simple and quick. Plus, the products feel so good that it's actually a pleasure, rather than a chore, to go through the steps!
Tachi and Stephanie are truly amazing people with a deep understanding of skin. I’ve struggled with cystic acne for the past few years, and tried many things to help it. Thanks to my mom who came across Tachi Skin Care , my acne which once was inflamed and painful is now significantly reduced. Tachi Skin Care works miracles.

I am 40, and since working with Emily Alamano at Skin by Marywynn I have begun to get random comments about how great I look for my age! No lie! Emily is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about skin care and I completely trust her, as she shared her own skin related struggles & how it brought her to this profession. She has the "gift of touch" & lets me lead if I'm feeling chatty or just want to relax. I have noticed a substantial textural difference in my skin since we have been doing the microdermabrasion series. My skin is now plump & hydrated as I also use a couple products she recommends (she never pushes them on you & allows u to try samples first). She's also excellent at extractions, something I feel is imperative to a facial & have noticed many estheticians skimp on. This last time I also did lash & brow tinting & LOVE the effects!!! I used to do at home masks & peels, but under the guidance of my new skin guru, I learned I was actually contributing to some of the issues I had hoped to resolve. Now, I just do what she says & my face is radiant & glowing in the right places! No more guessing. It really does pay to consult a professional. My only regret is that I wish I would have done this sooner instead of guessing all those years!
Lupe did an amazing job cleaning up and very slightly shaping my eyebrows like i requested. It was my first time getting threaded and it was a great first experience. Bikini wax was quick and the results were perfect! She will get you right! Clean and comfortable environment. Location can be a little confusing if your directionally challenged like me but i figured it out quick. 5/5

She is quick and so helpful with educating you on how to care post-wax. She is so knowledgeable on different skin sensitivities and hair types as well. I also got a spray tan done here which was absolutely amazing. It was my first time getting a spray tan done and I was so nervous because of my deeper complexion and my eczema, but she knew everything to do to make sure my skin looked glowy! You need to try this out! Floating in these float tanks is so relaxing and rejuvenating. If you have never tried a float tank before I highly recommend it! It's definitely a unique experience and when you're done it'll feel like you just got 10 hours of sleep. So i live in WA. We came to visit. After having breakfast we up and decided we’re going to get a tattoo. So im 37 never had a tattoo before. So we went across the street to Martian Arts and it was a good vide as we walked in. Jerry was so kind patient and over all helpful. Im 37 but when i tell you i hate i hate pain. A little pinch will bring tears to my eyes. I finally found the courage to do it and i did. It was so smooth it just left like a itch. Wasn’t painful at all. To be clear i only had 5 letters done behind my ear vertical down my neck. Basic letters at that. So nothing too crazy. When i tell you it took him longer to set up and sanitize than getting my tattoo done. It went so well that i end up getting another tattoo in the same area but it was just a small heart. 10/10 would recommend and i will be getting another tattoo and this is where i will be coming. Its worth that 3 hr drive. Thank you Jerry keep up the good work. See you next time. And to whomever reading this looking for recommendations, do it. Go here you will not regret it!

Requested style: I sent Pedro a few screenshots and a basic description of my concept. He was able to turn those into a really good rough draft. From there, we discussed some changes and made some additions. The final draft was exactly what I wanted and left room to stylize it a little more along the way as we agreed.
Cleanliness: The shop is very clean and sanitation is clearly a priority throughout the tattoo process.

Went to Euphoria Tattoo and Piercing’s new location inside Lloyd Center to get my piercing jewelry changed out. Lovett didn't do this at all and I feel that their prices are reasonable.

It has been a week since Lupen Systems have installed our TVs on wall mounts. The quote we received was reasonably priced as it also included the wall mounts. We are very pleased with the quality of their service. They wore boots covers and brought a vacuum to ensure they don't track in dirt from the outside, and cleaned up the area after they completed their work. The wall mounts are super sturdy. They asked our opinions to ensure the angle of the TVs are installed to our preference. They work quick, but very efficient. They're also super friendly and professional. I had a small electrical problem here at home that I could not figure out so I started looking around for an electrician and found elocalelectricians.com from another review here on Yelp. I sent out a request for a quote from 4 businesses and only got 1 reply back and that was from John at Phoenix. After I described what was going on he advised me to double check a connection and sure enough that's were my problem was. He didn't come out, didn't make any money off of me but yet he took the time to try and help me out on the phone and thus saved me a good $80 or more. Although I didn't have any service done from them per say, they will be on the top of my list to call if I ever need a electrician again!
These guys are amazing! 30+ years of exsperiance in commercial and industrial as well as all types of service work. They were quick to help in an emergency as well as general jobs. We had a very complicated controls system that was completely outdated. They tackled the project without any issues. Alot of our work is around hazardous environments and include anything from acid, high heat furnaces, and large scale jobs. These guys tackled it with no problems as well as a safe manner. They are always helpful when we run into a pinch or when something was missed and swoop in to save the day. The owners are just as nice and skilled as the workers. Very happy to have electric works on site with our guys anytime! The work and knowledge deffinantly came through. If you have any issues with their parking just call the company and they will have the van moved asap. Thanks again electric works!

I was lucky enough just using my 6th sense to find Troy. It was his humble photo that hooked me. We hired All Tech to repair a Samsung washing machine that had a drum that was no longer rotating. Ravi came out to diagnose the issue and quickly discovered that we needed a new controller PCB and sensor; he was able to source the sensor part himself, but the PCB model was apparently discontinued.
After our own research, we discovered that Samsung had actually renumbered the PCB and we found a local part shop that had one available. Ravi came back out to install it and got our washing machine quickly working again.
Ravi was very knowledgeable and friendly; he showed up promptly during the appointment windows too! I would definitely use All Tech for servicing my appliances again in the future.

The service at this locksmith's is beyond superior. A patient, resourceful, skilled technician re-progammed the old electronic key fob for my 2009 Nissan Versa (I hadn't thought it possible). I witnessed two other customers being treated as graciously as I was treated, and with the same expertise. I would drive miles out of my way to receive East Portland Locksmith's services.
I went to take the trash out and Derek was installing a new lock on our neighbor's mailbox. I chatted with him for a minute, then I remembered that the padlock on the spare tire case of our Toyota Rav4 was rusted closed. I asked him if he might have a pair of bolt cutters. I have used Lance at Metro for several lock issues in my over-100-year-old house, now and am always pleased with his promptness, skill and courtesy. This time he helped with a Schlage lock which was sticking badly, and a security door lock that was "glitching". I will definitely call him in the future.

We had an issue with our key fob not working due to a dead vehicle battery, and needed a locksmith pronto. We called ABC Lock, and Jack was very responsive, was able to get to us quickly, got our truck unlocked efficiently and his pricing seemed very reasonable. Definitely will use again when needed.
DJ was the absolute best worker- it was genuinely worst case scenario- (locked my keys in trunk, no quick release for the back seats in the main hatch, and my pull lever by the drivers wasn’t working). Luckily they’d been closed in the gap of my trunk door, so after trying multiple times to find other options- DJ was able to use an air pump to lift a section of the trunk cover and used multiple other tools to hook my keys and pull them out all with the trunk still being sealed. My house keys were in there, we were blocking cars- we would’ve had to tow our car otherwise, and he was an absolute champ. Genuinely some of the best service I’ve ever gotten- and I’m so beyond thankful he was resourceful and figured out a way to get our keys out. Literally the best employee!

I had searched for some time to find a cleaner willing to clean/repair a linen roman shade that had been water stained. Alameda Cleaners happily agreed to try and the results were fantastic - absolutely no evidence of the extensive water staining. The customer service, turnaround and pricing were terrific. Their work saved me the expense of replacing three roman shades. Following that success, I took an oriental carpet in for cleaning and had similarly good service. They will be my go-to for carpet and upholstery cleaning!
Pretty good service. The owner is super friendly and the young guys who took over after he left were great. You don't have to stay the entire time (they can call you when they are almost finished) so you can avoid awkward chit chat and don't have to sequester yourself in an uncarpeted room.. They couldn't get paint stains out of the carpet, but I didn't expect them to (paint is so difficult). The carpets were damp when they finished and they left the windows open so the carpet can dry (which was perfect and fast to dry on a hot summer day)
I have been using Gallagher’s for many years. They are the best! From the time you call to schedule a cleaning to the time they are done, they are professional and yet friendly and your carpets look amazing.

For example, when I was recovering from surgery, he was able to focus on doing different rooms than usual for the same time. He’s also made friends with my pup, who is normally very discerning ?
Since I found the Shiners, they have been available for occasional things for me like cleaning a different area, or deep cleaning the oven on top of the regular service and they always do a great job, unlike some of the other places I have tried.
Overall: clear communication, flexible, and I love the way my house looks when they are done!

Portland Construction Company made a miserable situation about as painless as it could possibly be.
We had significant water damage that required a full bathroom overhaul and replacing flooring throughout the house. From day one, they took charge of the process: they coordinated directly with our insurance company, handled the paperwork and back-and-forth, and clearly explained what was covered and what our options were. I never felt like I had to chase anyone or translate “insurance speak” — they did all of that for us.
The crew was on time, respectful, and careful with the rest of the house. They kept the work areas as clean as possible given the scope, communicated schedule changes early, and walked us through each phase so there were no surprises. The finished bathroom looks better than it did before the damage, and the new floors tie the whole home together.
What impressed me most was how low-stress they made a high-stress event. They genuinely took care of the details so we could focus on normal life. I’d absolutely use Portland Construction Company again and recommend them to anyone dealing with repairs after water damage.

We consider ourselves so lucky to have found Maxwell for our remodel! We worked with Maxwell to finish our basement and add a back deck to our 1920s home. Much of this project was sentimental as we are living in the house where I grew up. Maxwell and his team treated our home with such care and consideration, even incorporating parts of the house in the remodel and finding new windows that mirrored the look of the original basement windows. It was important to me that the basement and deck look and feel like they fit with the period of the house. The final product exceeded my expectations.

I used them for 6 months and when I finally concluded it wasn’t working for the Flies in my backyard. I called to cancel and had to pay a $300 early termination fee which was fine print info. . .
After writing this review, received a phone call from Cadence at Axiom. She was able to exhibit real concern with my issues that resulted in my negative review. She listened attentively as I expalained my issues.
She then actually did something I would not have expected and viola! My issue was resolved and now have high praises for Axiom’s Customer service.

They showed up earlier than they said they would and got right to work. They had to use a weed eater to mow the back yard, as it was waist high grass. They raked up all the lawn trimmings and bagged them, leaving them neatly stacked out front. They also mowed and took a weed eater to the front yard (which wasn't part of the initial quote) at no extra cost. Fast, efficient and professional and would definitely use this service again.
The McQuiggin’s team did an excellent job updating my gardens, walk-ways, and front yards. I enjoyed working with them to develop a first rate plan. Their service based on that plan was excellent. And, when they encountered several unexpected pipes in one side of my front yard, they worked with me and solved the problems.

Fantastic results! I hired them for my backyard renovation. They added new pavers, a retaining wall, and fresh sod, all completed on time. Their design suggestions really improved both the look and functionality of my yard.

We have worked with Honl Tree at our house numerous times, and have always been pleased with their professionalism, courtesy, and patience as we discuss and go over the nuances of large and small tree trimming, pests and blights, and the “best way” to tackle whatever needs to be done. They have also come out on weekends to do estimates, and Michael their scheduler is a gem at making sure you’re ready for when they’re going to arrive. Don’t get discouraged if their next opening is a bit in the future because we have found it’s worth the wait.

We recently hired this company to take down a huge old cherry tree that had died in our back yard, as well as some other tree trimming work. The cherry was in a difficult spot but the crew did an amazing job. They were extremely careful of the yard below. The owner, Tom, did the cutting himself while his crew assisted. They were professional, courteous, and fast. The did a beautiful job cleaning up, cutting and stacking all the wood. Reasonable price for high quality work. We will be hiring them for all our future tree needs.
Our neighbor recommended this company and I’m so grateful he did! They have the best communication of any company I’ve had do work on our house. They were prompt, responsive, and listened to specific requests I had. They even hauled away the debris from when a limb first came down. It was a huge relief to have the tree pruned back and they made it such an easy task to get done. I have been going to Dr. Mueller’s office for close to 15 years. I chose the office because it’s proximity to my work at the time, but even though I no longer work nearby I will always go to Dr. Mueller. He and his staff are amazing and I highly recommend this as your dentist office!
Let me preface this by saying: I have horrible dental anxiety, fear, trauma, I'm a mess at the dentist and a lot to deal with, as I've never been able to get numb! After reading the reviews, I decided to schedule an appt here in an attempt to get my teeth cleaned. From the very first phone call to this office, I felt at ease. The front desk staff is kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Little called me before my appointment to check in and help reassure me. The actual cleaning was gentle, and I made it through the entire thing, which is a first for me! I ended up needing to get a wisdom tooth extracted. I opted for IV sedation. What a dream - zero recollection of the experience, an easy recovery, payment and insurance was as stated.
I am so grateful to have found Dr. Little and this dentist office! Trust me, if you have any sort of dental unease, go to this place. You won't be disappointed.
i've been a long time patient of Wagner dental care it whole family goes. They take great care of our entire family and never try and upsell us in anyway. It truly is a real family practice. Recently, I had a dental emergency. I was seen right away. Dr Wagner took such great care of me. Took x-rays evaluated the problem. I was treated like family. Could not recommend Wagner dental care enough.

What can I say, I am extremely dental phobic. Just to support my comment, I was flying from Portland, OR to Orange County, CA for 5 years, 4 times a year to see my old dentist due to my fear of having to start with a new dentist (I know pretty crazy). However, it had become so expensive to fly and Uber to my dentist in Orange County, CA. I had to find a new dentist. I received a recommended to Dr. Kaveen Ranasinghe in July of this year and finally broke down to see him. He is a wonderful dentist and was very patient with my dental phobia. He spent a lot of time taking to me about my fears and how we could minimize any potential pain involved in my future dental work. Portland Dental has pain management options for even the most phobic patient like me. Also my dental hygienist (Jessica) is patient and gentle making my dental cleanings much easier to manage (she's the BEST). I would strongly recommended Dr. Kaveen (aka Dr. Ranasinghe) and his wonderful staff to all those dental phobic patients like me or anyone that just want a great dentist. Portland Dental is the best and I wanted to thank everyone for their patience and concern over my well being!

These days, access to healthcare is impossible. 2 Months for a physician appointment, leads to another 2 months waiting for Physical Therapy. NOT AT Center for Chiropractic + Wellness. Often, I've text before they open and receive a same day visit. Knowing this, I skipped seeing our family practice doctor for my active 13-year-old soccer playing son and set an appointment with Dr. Sykes.
While I've had many appointments, this was his first meeting with my son. Immediately, he communicated directly to my son and prompted me to add information. In the moment, I realized what a learning experience this became and witnessed my son grow in that moment. However, it was the language Dr. Sykes used. He explained everything in ways a 13-year-old boy would understand. As important, he asked for permission and explained each step during the stretching tests. After explaining a strained groin, he provided exercises and recommendation to stay off it for 4-5 days.
We left with a plan and returned 4 days later to follow up. My son was back to soccer on day 6 and now is doing extra stretching every day.
Awesome, from the scheduling to the walk in greeting. The treatment on my right foot was faster recovery than i had expected.

Dr. Holmgren has been our family pet doctor for many years (over 25+ years). He is very knowledgeable in all areas of our dog and cat's needs. I highly recommend him.

If you had told me that when I walked in, my life was about to change I would have laughed at you. My sweet puppy Lucifer is a monster in the bath. The jumping, the whining, the bathroom covered in soap and water and all the dirty stinky towels that would accumulate on my bathroom floor, became a distant memory when I met Julie. She brought us to a tub, showed us how everything worked and gave us tips on calming Lucifer's anxiety. And for the first time, we enjoyed giving him a bath. I never knew I would LOVE a self serve grooming business this much and we are so grateful for Julie. We will definitely return.

A wonderful relaxing space! It’s so nice to be able to work out next to my baby and not have to stress about needing to take a break to feed him or if other people will be bothered by an occasional baby noise. Indigo went above and beyond to make Family Yoga a great time for everyone.
I was in town visiting family and needed to get my yoga practice in. I searched on Google of local yoga studios and saw that Fuel Yoga Workouts was just around the corner from my hotel. I was able to take two classes during my stay. One was Fuel Flex and the other was Fuel Flow. I didn't read into the descriptions of the classes, but I assumed they were power yoga classes. The first class I took was Fuel Flex 2 with Alex on a Friday morning at 6am. I was expecting an asana practice, but this was far from it. I soon found out that it was more of a sculpt/HIIT class. The only yoga components were during the warmup and cool down. Not complaining though, because I had a blast and the workout kicked my ass. Alex was high energy, and she curated an amazing playlist much needed for the early morning. I appreciated her offerings to modify exercises. The room was heated, but I thought it was very manageable. I didn't feel like I was dying from the heat at all. The second class I took was Fuel Flow with Bri. Now this was more of my cup of tea and what I was looking for in my personal practice. The class was high energy as well and quite challenging, but we gradually worked up to the peak poses through the class. Bri led a very creative sequence, and I felt like she kept me on my toes the entire class.
Great studio! Nora's 6:30 AM sunrise flow is the perfect way to start the day!!!!! She's my favorite yoga teacher ever!!!!
I love taking classes at Paxson Yoga Center. A friend told me about it years ago when it was Gudmestad Yoga, but it's taken me all this time to start taking classes here. I am on my second term and I know I'll continue for years here. All the teachers are terrific, and I am particularly taken with Hope Fyfield. Hope has a light, humorous and gentle approach, yet her yoga goes very deep. I have seen a lot of change in my practice since I've been taking her classes; she takes me right to the fundamentals and I have gained strength and understanding from her teaching.
Sellwood Yoga feels like home to me. I am not a consistent yogi, and periodically drop off from regular practice but I always find renewal and inspiration when I come back to Sellwood Yoga, ALWAYS feeling so much better after each class!

I've been to a few of their classes now with several diff instructors & every class has been great!! The teachers are all so warm & welcoming & they do a fantastic job at taking us through flows. I feel like there is a good range of intensities throughout the classes. This yoga studio feels so accessible & inviting. I see more diversity in the humans attending classes here which is something that is important to me. I also don't think they charge you a mat rental fee if you forget your mat which is awesome (but I could be wrong about that). Will def continue to come back!

Update to previous review to give praise to Caesar as well. I've been in severe pain for weeks and he was able to work out the areas in my back that were causing the pain. Caesar is thoughtful, respectful, intuitive and listened to my concerns. Pressure was amazing and I feel so much better!!
This is one of the best places in Portland for massage. I have been seeing Katie Jayne for treatment of back pain and injuries from a car accident, and she has been immensely helpful. I get a LOT of massage and am very picky when it comes to bodywork and Katie is one of the best. I also refer my acupuncture patients to the studio, and they always report back that the treatment is the best. The space is warm and spacious, and they adhere to all COVID-19 protocols. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Stephanie for deep tissue massage for just about 7 years. I've always been very happy when I've left. I just left my first stretching massage and it was fantastic! The motion exercises provide a really deep stretch and now I'm as relaxed as a deep tissue massage but I feel a little more limber. Can't wait to do this again!
Aimee is so skilled at what she does! She is thoughtful, kind and a great listener, adapting her technique to fit what my body may need that day. She can do it all- deep tissue work, craniosacral, etc. Her massages always leave me feeling better! She finds spots sometimes I didn’t know needed to be worked on. I can’t recommend her enough!

I've gotten treatment from Roy even before he started his own business. He really knows his craft. I appreciate his professionalism and effective techniques. He is very holistic in his therapy. For example, he could tell that my lower back needed strengthening and gave me suggestions for stretches and exercise. You know how it feels like some massage therapists just go through the motions? Not Roy. His routine is custom based on the client's needs. He possesses the gift of touch and understands the map of the body to alleviate muscle tension. Unlike other massage places and chains I've been to where the therapist skimps on the time spent, Roy gives the full time that I paid for. If you are looking to heal your issues and move forward with better mobility this is the spot. I have been going f here for a few years now and each time when I have a different issue she helps me solve my pain and also gives me at home techniques to keep me moving.
Very personable and easy to talk to! Addressed my needs properly and gave me lots of advice, both on racing and my other individual goals. Unless your bike fit is currently terrible, don’t expect a huge amount of adjustment. However, the adjustments he did definitely improved my posture and comfort. I absolutely recommend Jason!

I had a great experience with Shin and plan on going back for treatment. My pain level has reduced significantly after just one treatment after being in acute hip pain for almost three weeks post car accident. I was nervous about acupuncture as I’ve had experience in the past with Chinese acupuncture where the needles were too big and painful. Japanese acupuncture is much more subtle.
The treatment that I received from Maya was amazing she always ask and listened to what I needed done to help me heal better and give me tons of tips of what to do to relieve some of the pain I was having do to my injuries, very professional the place super clean I will recommend for anyone that wants to try a different alternative of medicine to come to her.

Andrea healed my heel after just one treatment; truly miraculous. This is the heel which had given me strife for over 9months, across 3 different medical doctors, x-rays, and MRIs. Additionally, I am terrified of needles, and she not only reassured me, but also gave tips (that worked flawlessly) on how to mitigate any discomfort.

Christopher is amazing: insightful, a great listener who focuses on the health concerns that are most important to you. Have gone here since 2020. In July 2025, I went in for acupuncture after having Covid (in the past I’ve had long Covid with extreme fatigue). Christopher recommended taking a little aloe vera juice to flush the virus out of my system, and that advice did the trick. I feel I’ve fully recovered. Christopher’s holistic advice has transformed my health time and time again. Cannot recommend Acupuncture Center of Portland highly enough.

i’ve been here two times now and had a great experience each time. i’m in shape, active, and don’t have any medical issues. if i did, i would be extra cautious and vocal before getting a massage. the people that work here are receptive to requests, but you need to make an effort to be heard prior to getting a massage. people cannot read your mind and being critical of someone’s work without having the ability to advocate for oneself seems unfair. i would not go willy nilly into a spa if i had health concerns and didn’t know how to speak up for myself.

Mr. Mohammed is a great driving instructor. I paid for 8 adult driving sessions. He was very calm and made me feel at ease when driving. He gave me some amazing tips on how to train your eyes for the road and even parking. I will use those tips forever. Unfortunately, they do not do the dmv drive test for adults at this location, but he referred me to the Oregon Driver education center in clackamas where I was able to take my drive test. My last 3 sessions, he had me drive the course they use for the adult drive test. I am glad to say I passed on my first try. Highly recommend this location if you are wanting some extra practice or training before you take your drive test. They are very kind and efficient and do a great job at calming any driving anxiety you may have, and the scheduling process is easy and straight forward. Will recommend to anyone I know who is looking for a driving school. Thank you Mr. Mohammed!

Not to be dramatic, but Scott literally changed my life. He is THE best teacher ever. He gives the best advice/feedback, will make you feel more comfortable and confident driving, and is overall amazing. I've learned so much from him, every lesson I could feel myself becoming more confident in my driving. I have always had a fear of driving and thought I would never be able to drive on the streets, let alone get my license. After our lessons, I've been able to confidently drive on highways (you would've never caught me on there before) and pass my driver's test with a 100. I am so incredibly thankful that I chose the Behind the Wheel series and booked with Scott. I hope everyone who's considering getting driving lessons books with him so you can see how great he is. I will forever be grateful to 1st Learn to Drive and to Scott for being the most amazing teacher, I CANNOT express my gratitude for him enough. 5/5 experience!
