Hannah's salon space is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. She does a great job cutting and coloring my hair and after years of having her as my stylist I can say I always leave super happy with the result. She is very gifted at her craft.
I had a great experience at Milan Laser Hair Removal for underarm treatment. The process was quick and efficient. The staff was professional and made sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure.
This a little late but Shannon is a God send and truly great at what she does. I had my eyebrows micro bladed previously at another establishment (which I will not name) and the technician did a terrible job. Luckily Shannon was able to fit me in that same day and correct the poorly done job . I cannot thank Shannon enough and plan on visiting her again soon when I need a touch up. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else in town. If you want quality work call Shannon.

My first time getting a Pedi in too of a long time. Chose this salon due to closeness to my house. Dani did not disappoint! I was new to this and I chose a Lemongrass massage/soak. Was AMAZING! And Dani did a wonderful foot/calf massage. I will surely come back!!

After receiving a gift card for father's day, I booked a massage with Demetrice for July 2nd. This experience start to finish was 5 stars and I would even rate the therapist higher than that if it allowed, as she was absolutely amazing. Point blank... To say she is the best massage therapist I have ever been to is not doing her justice, as that is hard for me to even say having had really great therapists in the past. She is just on a whole different planet than what I have previously considered the best. I mean it when I say this... As long as I continue to live locally, I will never go anywhere else as long as she is there. She is incredible!

The location is very cute and feels very comfortable. Cayli is an amazing hairstylist and she always takes the time to talk me through the process and the end results. I come here every 8 weeks to touch up my mini highlights, face framing layers, and a trim. I get anxious about getting my hair done, but I haven't been since I've been coming to Hudson & Co Salon.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Shelby. It was very relaxing and she was really accommodating to what I wanted. I went in for a scalp cleansing and massage. I just wanted to RELAX. I have super tight curly hair. I’m 48 and I am just now embracing the beauty of it. I did not expect Shelby to be trained in styling my type of curls and she was honest with me when I asked. She can now put tight curly hair on her resume. She listened to me when I told her what worked and what didn’t. She listened when I told her how to apply styling products. Other places I’ve gone too, thought they knew more about this head than I did and I came out looking like a frizzy poodle. Not here, I was very pleased that she listened to me and I listened to her. I plan on going back for the 12 week maintenance and I also want to research the curly cuts. My kid said, I should have booked him an appt to clean his scalp too ?

What a gorgeous, friendly, and skilled downtown salon and I'm so happy it's in the sweet spot of the arts district. I made an appointment with the amazing Katie Green and was so impressed with not only her amazing color skills but how friendly she and all the girls in the salon were. I knew going in my pain in the ass head of extremely thick and dark hair was going to be a project and I was full of advance apologies but she clipped on that's mock and got to work. I couldn't have been more pleased with how amazing her highlights in my hair turned out. She made the 4 hours I was there fly by and everyone was so upbeat clipping and snipping away. This was the great salon experience I was looking for. I am so happy I have to look no further than 2 blocks down my own doorstep for such professional and capable service. They also offer many other spa and facial services and are one of the premier bridal suites downtown. Super great location for a bridal party too with cute little cafes and pubs nearby if you're making a day of it beforehand. Thank you, Dalisay and Katie! See you in 6 weeks!

One week later I was back for highlights and she is seriously the best with blonde highlights that blend perfectly with her bob haircut! I think Tabitha gave me the best cut I’ve ever gotten. I’m quite sensitive about my hair and I tend to be very specific with any stylist/barber about what I want; however, I told Tabitha that I wanted to try something a bit new. Not only did she give me exactly what I wanted, she went above and beyond and introduced me to some new ideas for cutting and styling my hair. I took a risk by trusting some of her suggestions, and it paid off immensely. I love my new hairstyle and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to what I had before. She’s also so kind and personable. Not to mention the cut was very affordable. I will surely be going back.

Men taking care of men in the best, most uplifting, and professional way possible. This is a really talented group of men that know their craft well. I could learn to trim my beard and save a few bucks but what I’d miss out on is (not only a much better beard trim) the camaraderie that’s developed from the first day I stepped into Queen Street. I’ve had the funniest, most serious and straight up heartfelt and genuine conversations I’ve ever had with of men from all different backgrounds. I can’t say enough good things about this group of men who’s soul purpose while in the shop is to make you look and feel your best.

Just moved to the area. No wait time @ 11am on a Tuesday. Juan was my barber today. Turned my year-old mop head into a low fade with 2.5" scissor cut on top. The aftershave and hot towel was a nice touch. Very happy with the cut!

Enjoyable environments, colorful conversations, and great barbers. Actually "Barbers" seems more like an understanding, these guys are true artists. With "Popi" being one of the most popular "Artist" in the shop. If you need to get sharp for an event, stop in and ask for Popi. You may need to make an appointment after Wednesday, because he is busy, but everyone in the shop is fully capable of making you look better than you thought you could. See you there.

My favorite place to go everyday I can, complete zen. Nice, comfortable, and easy going employees. Owner is a very nice and respectful man, easy to talk to. Always feel welcomed walking in the door, every one always says hello as you arrive (not many places around here give you that kind of undivided attention). If you go avidly they usually memorize your name, that’s nice too.

My partner and I go here. We love the friendly and inviting environment. Taylor and Karra are super nice and knowledgeable of all the tanning packages, memberships, and merchandise. Also, it’s no hidden fees and you can cancel your membership as long as it’s before the 25th, unlike other places here in Wilmington where you can’t even cancel your membership. We are very pleased with our decision to join the Palm Beach Tan family.

I had ombre microblading for my eyebrows that was done by Bonnie. I have had family and friends had it done to them, and I love the look itself, so I thought I'd give it a shot. It was the first time I'd ever had it done, and Bonnie was so great! She instantly made me feel comfortable, and she was so professional and so sweet! Bonnie gave me all the info I needed about the procedure and aftercare. I just had my touch up session, and my eye brows look AMAZING! Hire them!! I had Alice Lawson Salon do the makeup and hair for my wedding this past weekend and they did amazing. Mason, Hannah and Katie came to the venue and made it thru 10 updos and 5 makeups in a crazy fast time-they are not only the sweetest people, but great at hair and makeup. The trial run at their beautiful salon was also great. If I lived in the area I would go there more often. For the price you pay, you get way more-it was exactly like the pictures I showed them for makeup and Hannah listened when I said I didn't want a ton of makeup. I had no idea what to do for my hair and Mason did a style that was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you sooo much again!

I went to Slim (Shannon) for a little over a year and she did 70% of patchwork sleeve. I can honestly say that she is not only an amazing artist, but incredibly professional and kind. It can be intimidating getting tattooed when you first start out, but she never once made me feel out of place and did a great job giving me advice as to what would look best for my pieces.
The shop is great and super clean. I have yet to get tattooed by any other artists here, but I’m sure it would be a similar experience. 10/10

I was so nervous on my very first visit but Lauren quickly put me at ease and really listened to what I wanted my brows to look like. She addressed every concern I had and gave me the brows I wanted. Shop itself is homey, spacious, clean, and lobby area is beautifully decorated. Tony has done two large pieces for me and with both has taken the time to perfect the design, bounce ideas back and forth, and given informative suggestions. I have very sensitive, easily irritated skin and he remembered this from doing a touch up on my first large piece a year ago. He spent all day on my piece yesterday, not because he had to, but because he was taking his time on each individual blossom as if it were the only one, using a light hand, and administering products to help with irritation. I don’t think anybody else would have/could have taken the time and care that Tony did. He made it easy to sit for a chest session, despite it being my first tattoo done in a more painful spot, and me having a small frame paired with sensitive skin. It doesn’t get more professional, knowledgeable, or caring than that.

I had Bluewater Plumbing Company replace all my quest waterlines in my house the crawl space and in my walls and replace it with Pex waterlines. This was a two and half days of work . The two man crew Mike & Eli Scholer worked diligently to get the job done . Each day before they left they made sure we had water and that there were no leaks. They also removed all the quest waterlines from my crawl space. They both were very professional as they worked Mike didn’t have to make but four cuts in my sheetrock inside my house because of Mikes knowledge the cuts he made were easily screwed back to the wall. Mike and his son Eli done a greatjob !

I had a water heater (under warranty) installed by them several years ago, but still under manufacturer warranty, for which I encountered some problems. Upon contacting Dwayne, one of the managers, he and very communicative staff in the office sent out an excellent plumber Eric within a rather quick time range to evaluate the problem. Eric and Dwayne immediately assessed, with integrity, the problem; took responsibility, and clearly communicated with me to suit my schedule to return to fix it. Eric and helper Chris fixed the heater back to original condition, and communication was straightforward and honest throughout their wrangling with the problem. Eric and Chris stuck around after the repair for 15 minutes, for much needed peace of mind, that their repair work had no leaks. They professionally, with integrity, stood by their original work.

We're so greatful for CREECH PLUMBING. We had water heater issues and this company was quick to respond and assist. Ethan, was our plumber and he was intelligent, informative, kind and professional. Removing our old tank was horrible, as it was leaking and rusted, clogged and messy. He removed it and protected our carpets as it was removed. He was amazing. Top notch service from John the owner! I had to process a warranty claim on my new LG dishwasher. Let's just say LG took forever and did not want to issue a warranty service call. From the moment Cape Fear Appliance got a hold of my claim they contacted me multiple times keeping me informed when John would be on site. John immediately identified the issue, contacted LG to see if there was a fix and resolved my problem within a matter of minutes. Next time I will not be going through the major box stores for appliances but solely through Cape Fear Appliance.
Repair on 10 yo $2900 GE Profile Refridgerator Freezer side by side. Tony replaced the motherboard to repair appliance that had stopped cooling. After the repair when power was applied the cooling fan in the freezer was touching the fan surround and making a humming noise, probably due to a 10 year old appliance plastic deforming over tiime, warming and then freezing during repair. Tony spent about another hour pulling the ice maker, the light panel, the back pannel, and attachements out to adjust and reinstall everything to eliminate the noise. Professional work, no extra charges. A and D is the appliance repair people I trust.

Called on Tuesday afternoon to see if they could clean some furniture on Thursday. We were moving and wanted to have it cleaned before moving it to the new house. Lou was able to accommodate the short notice. He arrived as scheduled and cleaned the upholstery (sofa, loveseat and chair). Looked great and very reasonably priced. He also told us that if, when it dried, we saw spots that needed touched up - he'd come out to the new place and take care of it. That's great service! Highly recommend!

Just had a fortified roof replacement done with Integrity. Mick was the PM and was great with walking me through each step of the process. The entire crew were friendly and very hard working. They worked 7am-8pm to get it all done in one day. A few of the crew were back bright and early the next morning to do another post cleanup, cleanup. The dumpster was picked up at 7am the following morning as well. Leftover materials were picked up promptly. Mick also came back and did a 3rd walk around just to be sure all of the metal/any scraps were picked up around the house. 10/10 would recommend!

I have hired John on 2 different occasions. The first time I hired him was right after a horrible experience with my old contactor. My half bath and laundry room addition were in shambles, my exterior door was crooked and didn't shut properly and my house was a mess due to supplies being stored in my living room over 4 months. He came in and immediately, put his craftsmanship and wide array of talents on display. He understood my frustration with contractors, and was patient and willing to help in everyway possible! He even helped with the lawsuit my credit card company filed against my former general contractor! The project came out wonderful and exactly as I had invisioned! I then hired him again to create off street parking, build a fence, deck, and create a outdoor space for my dog. My house was hit after the hurricane and John was willing right away to help with this. He stayed patient with the always frustrating battle with the historical district and we finally got the be approval to complete the project. I put this multi talents to the test, asking him to do carpentry, plumbing, electrical, running multiple natural gas lines, landscaping with tree removal, operating 2 different excavators, and doing concrete work. He always has a funny, pleasant, and positive attitude! I work long hours being in the military, so John would always have my dog by his side, making sure she wasn't couped up all day. His incredible skill aside, his best quality might be his willingness to help others! He really wanted me to have and enjoy my deck and outdoor living space!

She was checking out the backyard to spray, immediately saw my dogs running to her and the open gate and had the presence of mind to close it quickly and prevented them from escaping. What could have been a bad scene (Evan probably would have run to Wrightsville Beach and Sam would have taken himself for a walk around the block) was prevented by her. Thanks for hiring conscientious workers.Oh and by the way, we love our mosquito protection. Although others around us do not use it, we never have mosquitos and that is important with dogs in the yard. Thanks for a job well done!

We use Bug in a rug for our monthly pest control but we needed them in a pinch for an extra service and they came through! The exterminator that was at Arbor Landing at Compass Pointe was Bobby and his right hand man, Diggs! Both gentlemen went above and beyond for both the community but they are so good with the residents. They are awesome to work with and the friendliest guys I know! I was extremely pleased with Jet Mulch in Wilmington NC. They completed all of my flower beds in about an hour which was 10 yards of mulch. Everything looks beautiful. They cleaned up areas where the mulch blew out of the beds. Bob was very professional and friendly. I would never been able to get the beds looking this good on my own. Well worth the money spent.

These guys did an incredible job cutting back my overgrown shrubs and mulching my front and side beds. The attention to detail was phenomenal. They had removed the previous bedding, bringing the beds down to dirt in order to put down a fresh layer of mulch. They communicated extremely well and were very responsive. Amazingly responsive and knowledgeable about his field, Tom can be trusted to keep your system in peak operating condition. He even helped me out with a repair on my water supply that didn't really fall into his wheel house, and he could easily have referred me to a plumber causing me further delay, but he handled the repair quickly, professionaly, and reasonably. I am a retired dental hygienist who recently moved here and started seeing Dr. Duffy. He is an outstanding clinician. My bite was quite off even after having had Invisilign in Virginia. Dr Duffy told me he could improve it with some bite adjustments and the change has been incredible. My bite feels much more comfortable, my chewing capacity has improved considerably and I am now have contacts on all of my back teeth, which is as it should be. Dr Duffy’s ability to make these corrections is due to his skill - this is something a lot of dentists struggle with and it’s such a huge part of your dental health. I have complete trust in his abilities and am so happy to have found this wonderful dental office!

Dr. Gail assessed our sweet Toby and then made multiple gentle adjustments on him of which he handled extremely well. Dr. Gail also took the time to explain the areas in Toby’s spine that were out of alignment and how these adjustments will help his hip alignment as well as his gate and sitting. We also found Dr. Gail, very knowledgeable about healthy dog food options for our sweet Toby. We will definitely be back to see her again and would highly recommend Galligan Family Chiropractic.

A family member recommended Dr. Evan after I was involved in a car accident. My neck and shoulder were in pain and I couldn’t turn my head to the right. After a few sessions of what I’d call physical therapy/chiropractic care, and some massage therapy (in the same location), I could turn my head enough to feel like I could safely drive again. Still working on getting back to “normal” slowly but surely. Grateful for Dr. Evan and his staff for their support through this process.
I had a wonderful experience with Elite Chiropractic. I had very bad sciatica and lower back pain. I could barely walk when I first visited Dr. Sonya and her team. She gave me an X-ray and explained all of my issues and put together a plan for recovery but also for whole body health care. I followed the plan over the next two months and my sciatica is completely gone and I feel great. I will continue to follow the maintenance plan in the days ahead.
Dr. Lydia Shedlofsky and her staff are simply amazing! I’ve been trying to switch dermatologists for a while because I felt my previous dermatology office lacked warmth. In contrast, at Summit, the scheduling specialist was kind and understanding. As an educator I need appointments during non school hours. She put me on a wait list and contacted me twice until we found a good slot.
Once I was in the office, the team at check-in was just as warm and welcoming. I noticed as I waited my turn, they were professional and kind to everyone who entered. When it was my turn to go to the back, Maddie and Lauren were equally kind and professional. I voiced some concerns related to my skin and there was no rushing, just inquisitive, professional questions. Dr. Shedlofsky was also very welcoming! She gave me a thorough evaluation and provided recommendations I’d never heard of to help me better protect and treat my skin for past and future damage from the sun to avoid cancer. I’m definitely going back to Summit on Shipyard!

Dr crane and Dr Harris are both really good drs and I will be making sure I stick with them for my skin checks and any procedures I need done. Another Dr here at this office with short dark curly hair (I forgot her name) saw me for a skin check about a month ago and I pointed out two new spots on my face. She referred me to an eye specialist to have one removed and the other one she just said “with where that’s at on your nose, I’ll just leave it because I don’t want to give you a scar”…no offense, I think that’s pretty unprofessional and neglectful too..I care wayy more about catching skin cancer spots early than I do about scars…
