About Elkins Safe Lock & Door Service
Elkins Safe-Lock & Door Services specializes in reviving old locks, highlighted by their impressive work on a 1950s mortise entry door lock. They ensure that locks function well and take the extra step to polish the original brass hidden beneath layers of paint. Although not very talkative, their competence and professionalism are evident. In emergencies, Elkins prioritizes customer needs, often referring clients to other trusted professionals when necessary. Their honesty and willingness to help have led to many positive reviews, with customers praising their quick response times and reasonable pricing. Many have recommended Elkins as a reliable choice for lock and door services.
After calling 3 different “highly rated” locksmith service companies around town for almost 2 days and not getting any response I was fortunate to find Elkins. My first call was answered by a real person who was pleasant and helpful! A dead bolt in one of our main entrance doors was stuck in the closed position and after all our human effort and even disassembly, we couldn’t get it out. He worked us in his schedule and was in and out quickly- a great job! The cost for his excellent service was about half what I had expected! We definitely recommend Elkins and will use Chris again if the need arises.
I locked my keys in my car and I called about a dozen people and he was the only one that said he could be there within an hour. He arrived on time and the amount he charged was very reasonable. I would suggest him to to anyone that needs his help.
Called awhile back to help with a safe/door issue at a store and he was quick to come out. Service was great and you can’t beat his prices! Since then, I have used him for several of our locations with our company and each time he is always there happy to help out. Thank you for everything as we will continue to use your services. You are now our contact guy for any issues we have that come up - we appreciate you!!
