“They are really nice and efficient. From the front desk to the medical assistants and doctor. They even checked my glasses from another place that I felt were ‘off’ and turns out I was right. I’m very thankful for them discovering this because my glasses were hurting instead of helping and now I’m armed with the proper prescription to get filled. I also appreciate that every member of staff there is willing to answer questions. It makes the whole experience that much easier.“

“I had been thinking about getting LASIK for years. I’ve had glasses since fourth grade and tried contacts, but they really irritated my eyes and weren’t a good fit. I finally decided that there was no time like the present and six months before my wedding, I called and made my free LASIK consultation appointment. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and they answered all of my questions during the consultation and shared their own experiences. I was with Dr. Springs and felt very comfortable with him being the doctor performing the procedure. The date of the procedure was so smooth and it really happen very quickly. All the sudden I was in the chair and then it was over! I had my goggles on and went home to take my nap. Waking up, being able to see and open my eyes without having to put glasses on is just the most amazing feeling ever. Im now over 6 months post operation and still love my experience with Dr. Springs and the Wilmington Eye team.“
“I went to Dr. Castellano to have my prescription from another doctor checked since I was having trouble seeing with glasses I had made from that prescription. My experience with the first doctor wasn't good so I called Dr. Castellano. I can't say how happy I am with my decision.My new prescription is perfect. Dr. Sobol was fast and accurate. The office workers were so kind and personable! My child was able to get a full exam and pick out frames in under an hour! Definitely will be going back!“

“Not my first visit here but certainly the scariest. This was not a routine eye exam for me but rather a medical issue. I did not expect going into my appointment that I would be leaving and having surgery on my eye the same day. Dr. Strange was AMAZING as was the rest of the team. It was late on a Friday, the surgery center wasn't answering their phone, Dr Strange and the techs tried szeveral different routes to ensure I was taken care of. I am grateful for them taking the time and being so supportive. So thankful for his thouroughness and patience ( I was panicked fror sure) to explain the issue, what to expect, and his reassurances that everything would be ok!“

With others, my contact lens prescription was difficult to attain, and the eyeglasses were suboptimal. Dr. Cox provided his expertise and prescribed optimal prescriptions for contacts and eyeglasses. The glasses were formed to fit the frames perfectly. Please consider this practice and Dr. Cox for your eye exam, contact lens and eyeglasses.“

“A fantastic experience from the first phone call to the end of services!!Great place - great staff.I had cataract surgery for both eyes from Dr. Hawkins.His work and bedside manner were perfect. I felt comfortable and relaxed from the consultation to the completion of the procedures.But not only was Dr. Hawkins and the procedure great. The entire staff was fantastic and helpful. With great attitudes, service oriented and the process speedy with out ever feeling rushed.The check in staff helped me get set up when there were problems with my optometrist front desk staff.First appointment they took me back 10 minutes before appointment time and kept the process moving. Yet was comfortable, non-rush and welcomed any questions.Dr Hawkins was like a friend, taking time to listen, answer questions and explained the process.They were fast, efficient and helpful in setting procedure schedule.Took care of insurance pre-check and everything.I would highly recommend them to anyone.Also they were recommended to me by a patient of Dr.Brown who was equally pleased with the practice.“
