I chose Beauty Mark based on a Facebook search and was glad I did. My haircut was a pretty big change for me and I love it! Jodi did a great job and I'm very pleased - will definitely go back again when needed.

After contacting Storm Guard based on a friend's recommendation, I was greeted with a very friendly and professional person (Alexa) on the phone. She promptly provided me with a date and time for someone (Nik) to come out and see what the problem was. Nik was so delightful and knew EXACTLY what to do. I got on the schedule right away and Jake came and explained what he had to do and what he did. The whole experience was great. I will definitely be calling them again when we have roofing issues.

If I could give Jes a 10 star, I would. Her craftsmanship is amazing, she truly knows how to work with so many hair types. She is an expert at textured hair, anywhere from slight wave to tight curls. And that's hard to find! Her suite is cute and cozy and you get her full attention. I have known Jes for years and she continues to amaze me! One of my favorite things is her calming personality; she is soft-spoken and patient... perfect for someone who needs some direction with their hair and also needs some rest and relaxation. I highly recommend experiencing Altered Hair Design!

Called on a Wednesday to see if they could hem some pants for me for a wedding I have to attend on Saturday (so pickup Friday). Said no problem, just a small extra fee, swung in and was in and out in 5mins and he had the pants pinned up to the right height. Picked them up today and they fit perfect and price was super reasonable, especially for the quick turnaround I needed. Much appreciated and highly recommend them.
I came in last night for some simple curtain bangs and they came out amazing! Maria was so nice and catered to my questions, showed me how to style my bangs and showed me some products to use for my hair. As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed, everyone was so friendly and inviting and the music was awesome! Thanks again for a great experience :)

I went to Midwest Beauty House for the first time last night to get my hair cut by Thomas. I had a great experience. Thomas offered me tea, helped me get comfortable, and asked me about my hair, what I’d like to do with it, and told me about their approach to hair. Thomas did a great job following my preferences for the cut, and I learned so much from them about basic hair styling/care (plus food suggestions as a new Madisonian)! I will happily go back to Midwest Beauty House.
Got my haircut by Ken today after cutting my own hair for the past four years bc I was too nervous to try and explain what I want. Ken was able to understand, and execute better than I could have hoped, what I wanted with simple questions without me having to know the name of the style I wanted. I left feeling the best I have in such a long time and will definitely be going back from now on!

I'm a procrastinator when it comes to getting a haircut. The ability to not have to schedule an appointment and just walk in was perfect for me. Be prepared to relax and take a moment for yourself. The wait time and price were very reasonable. Missy did a great job on my hair. Walk-in's are available at other places, but show some love for local. Support small businesses
I started seeing Lukas earlier this year and I'm SUPER happy with his work for my last two appointments. Lukas not only got me to the color I was looking for, but he did it in such a way that made it much easier to maintain. Before I saw Lukas I had to come in much more frequently to clean up my roots. But after Lukas' color, it's grown out much more naturally than before. So he's saving me time and money!! Lukas has been easy to schedule with and provides great advice on products and styling methods too. Highly recommend Lukas at Bang!

In the past year, Britt has worked with my hair four times. I've enjoyed the experience every single time! She's very talented and fast! Last May, she did wedding hair for me and my four bridesmaids - she had us all finished sooner than the time estimated, and everyone's hair was lovely!

Faith is awesome! She did a fantastic job on my hair. I've been trying to grow it out longer and she advised me on how to manage it and what the step by step future would/should be. Did a very good fade as well. She made adjustments for my hair type and the whole deal. Definitely worth it ?, she is a proper professional. Will 100% be back.

I’ve been getting dip powder manicures every 3-4 weeks for nearly 5 years. When I moved to Madison, I tried a few nail salons with mediocre results but when I found Nails4U, it easily the best—not just in Madison, but out of the dozens of salons I’d been to. Cecilia in particular is a phenomenal nail tech and business owner, and I’ve had wonderful experiences with Mia too. My dip powder manicures always last well over 4 weeks with no lifting, and my pedicures have lasted for months at a time thanks to their high-quality products and technical expertise. With an eye for detail in a friendly, clean environment, Nails4U is undoubtedly one of the best for manicures and pedicures. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Magni brows is located within a secured Salon suite. I love that! We have the same concept at home and it keeps everyone safe. I buzzed the suite and was promptly let in and greeted.
Vanna is so welcoming. She is kind and friendly and we had a great conversation while she did my brows to perfection. Her threading was so gentle. My skin was not tugged but the hairs were effectively removed. I wish she could do my brows everytime! But she definitely will anytime I'm in Charlotte!

Phenix Salon is a nice building. Inside entrance is nice & welcoming. Love the water feature on the wall when you first walk in. The place offers people to open their own salons within the building which is great. So they have many different businesses inside that all are salons, barbers, massage, eyebrow & maybe facials 2. I have been getting my hair done @ My Studio inside Phenix for several years & have been following Dale for 30+ years. Unfortunately he is leaving the Phenix building this month & moving My Studio to Monona Dr. but I highly recommend checking out some of the other businesses inside Phenix Salon Suites. I have not personally tryed any of them but they seem to be good businesses. Otherwise look up My Studio on Monona Dr. for a great hair salon.

I started seeing Jane as a referral from a friend to help me get my skin in tip top shape for my wedding this past fall. Jane did exactly that, and to my surprise her facials helped me manage my stress levels as well because of how relaxing her services are. The soothing music, dim lights, her caring touch, series of steps she takes to care for your skin, and products she uses is fantastic. She even gives a little massage to your shoulders and feet! The vibes are zen. Jane truly cares about her clients. My skin was radiating not only for my wedding day, but every time after I saw her. Emily has been a welcome and knowledgeable addition in my son's life regarding his cystic acne at age 14. We have tried numerous other products and avenues. I refused Accutane and luckily found Emily. She has helped my son's face to heal in a few short months and the confidence he has gained from it is priceless. The best facial I have ever had!! I have been getting facials for maybe 15-20 years now from Massage envy monthly to specialty spas (Sundara etc) and Jess does the best work I've had out of everyone. The whole process is so relaxing and my skin is so happy! The products she used are also much more gentle on my skin. I often leave a facial with breakouts for days, but Jess has a great pulse on what will work for you. This is a service I am telling everyone about and wish I could come monthly! Thanks Jess!

The best eyelash artist in the entire city of Madison! I have been coming to really ritzy since I first moved from Indianapolis over 2 years ago. I have been to other lash artist before that but once I came to Tee I knew I would never need to go anywhere else for my lashes, her work is always neat, long lasting and her spirit is very calm and welcoming! Jared was awesome! I had decided to get a paw print to memorialize my late pup, and he did an amazing job walking me through options as well as helping me visualize what he had in mind. The tattoo looks fantastic and is a perfect replica of my dogs print. Can’t wait to go back and get some more work done from him in the future.

Brian’s done some great work and now I have Bernie who has been taking my ideas and then himself adds his own touch and made them master pieces!!! The one with the feather was a co tribute on to my late Father with his final EKG inside the feather to represent his 1/2 Cherokee Native blood. My mother loved Bernie’s work so much she got her FIRST tattoo with Bern with my Fathers EKG but her and Bernie’s idea for the feather!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

My tattoo artist is always super nice and totally cool with my changes. I’m not much of a chatterbox when getting tattooed, so I prefer to throw on some headphones and zone out from the pain. My artist is cool with that, which is awesome. I’m like a statue in that chair – I don't move and I power through the pain. My tattoos always heal wonderfully, and I leave happy every time.
Ill continue to go back to Lost Lakes. Ive had VERY terrible experiences getting tattooed at other places. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants a high quality tattoo, in a chill atmosphere (and good prices).

Dave offered a very professionally kept and clean space where he operates as the sole artist within his shop - He ensures a clear yet noninvasive line of communication has been had about health and safety prior to creating his art, and takes plenty of time with the clients to be sure he's got their ideal vision down.Although I cannot say he does this EVERY TIME, I know that often he schedules a single client within a single day and no more to ensure that there is plenty of space for discussion, drawing, and the creation itself.Once all is said and done, Dave will go over basic healing expectations that other shops may not (such as over-hydrating and Adhesive Allergies!)If you consent to it and send a photo in later he is always proud to show his work, and see it's final (healed) product... The check in for how things are healing is my favorite, you can tell this is a space looking to progress, learn, and inspire.I watched Dave of Hand Eye Tattoo navigate through the pandemic and come out the other head with healthy and protected clients, his shop and expertise quickly became a novelty go-to suggestion I provide to the Wisconsin Traveler.*I would like to edit and add that the original Colored Pencil drawing was a draft from my childhood, I then brought it to Dave and asked he reworked it with me to fit the vision in my head... The black and white is his creation, and the full color is pictured on my skin. I'm so proud of how this turned out! Even after healing, it's set exactly how he said it would set, and he absolutely mentioned scenarios that may require a revisit or touchup in the future.A 10/10 experience.

I don't typically write reviews for places, but when it comes to tattoos, you need the right place. I was recommended to come here by someone else who has visited Black Moon before for some tattoos, and I'm so glad I listened. I 100% recommend coming to Black Moon, and while I'm sure all the artists are awesome (based on just the social experience), Zach is fantastic at what he does. I gave him my preliminary idea over email, and while things could have went faster if I had a text sample of what I wanted tattooed ready to go, Zach crushed it by taking a font similar to what I wanted and transforming it into what I wanted the tattoo to look like. I felt bad for making the design process longer, and a little more challenging, but he was super chill about it and more than happy to help. Zach is just a fun and cool dude too! Tattoo turned out even better than I was expecting it to as well. I appreciated how he took some time to place the outline in a way that fits the outside side of my forearm since it is a weirder shaped surface to put a tattoo on I think. Shop itself was clean, and again, I had fun just being there during the designing and actual tattoo process due to the people. If you need a tattoo in the Madison area, go here. I have three in total now, the other two were done at the same place over in Milwaukee. While both places are great, I would definitely come back to Black Moon for future pieces.

Yesterday, I needed a basement toilet removed, and Dan came out to take care of it. While he was working away, he noticed an unrelated issue with my furnace and showed me something I might try myself to prevent a costly repair later. It worked, the furnace is no longer leaking, and I feel like he helped me prevent a very costly repair just by noticing and caring. I’m very happy with the recent services provided by Capitol Plumbing. I had many plumbing issues, and Doug was able to take care of all of them, including a couple of things that another plumber had said could not be fixed and needed to be replaced. I was a little nervous about what the cost would be because he was here for six hours, but the charges were very reasonable. Definitely recommend.

Dan has done work for us numerous times over the years and he always has good quality and reasonable pricing. Off the top of my head, 4 ceiling fans, numerous new outlets, 5 interior light fixture swaps, exterior light replacements, installed shop lighting, kitchen vent hood, bathroom exhaust fans. It's great that each time I can just call him out to do a bunch of work and not have to get 3 estimates every time or worry about over paying for poor work. Dan has helped us figure things out too, sometimes the ideal option isn't the most cost effective and it's good to have options. I recommend him to all my friends when they mention needing electrical work done and have had them thank me for it.

Ordered two low profile fobs (not sure if they’re still technically called “fobs” since they’re so thin!) and they arrived in a couple of days. My wife and I each have one and they now reside in between the phone case and the phone, and they don’t interfere with the form and fit of the cases. The phone case doesn’t interfere with the signal and they work perfectly. Our phones are always with us so no more need to bring clunky key chains for quick transits. Highly recommended.

We have been satisfied customers since around 2018! After an initial needs analysis and a deep clean, we now do a monthly appointment with Class A Cleaning. It's something we look forward to each month, and it feels so refreshing when it's done, especially as dog owners. Class A worked with us to come up with a specific plan for which rooms they would clean and which ones were not needed (ex: my office and our basement), so we are able to continue working from home and get our dogs out of their way while they clean. Very helpful!Dora is easy to work with and runs a great business. The company has been flexible for unforeseen schedule changes we've needed, and everyone who has been on the team that comes to our house has been kind and did a good job. Dora and crew are also receptive to questions and requests for future visits too, like if there is something specific we want tackled. Otherwise, the standard cleaning procedure hits all our needs. We know that should we ever need another deep clean, we would happily work with Class A to tackle it.

I cannot say enough about Imperial Wood Floors. My wife became handicapped and now requires a wheelchair. They came to my house, gave me the estimate. We planned on replacing carpet with wood flooring and also blended an existing wood floor from 24 years ago with new wood flooring. We had planned all this while my wife and I took a vacation. As the lift that takes my wife up the stairs had to be removed. Imperial Wood Flooring people added wood flooring to the carpet stairs, master bathroom, and hallway upstairs in our home. We just finished DIYing our 1950’s bathroom and wanted to do it in a 50’s style to match the house. We had no previous tiling experience. We looked at all the tile shops in Madison and Molony had the best selection and installation expertise. They even had some new old stock recessed accessories that were typical of old tiling but not made anymore. We really appreciated the attention we got working with a small business and are thrilled with the results!

We did a pretty substantial renovation in 2022/2023 and Haver delivered great results. Project involved a kitchen redesign and upgrade, two bathrooms, upgrades to plumbing and electrical, installation of EV charging, and moved laundry from basement to main floor. Substantial work in removing a wall and installing a steel support beam. All done to the highest quality. This was by no means an easy project and involved several subs to complete all of the work. I've been using this company at my home and office for at least the last 8 years and have had nothing but Professional Service with always outstanding results. I've even had the same technician this entire time who knows our home knows what to do and gets it done always with the same price. Never any up charge never any issues whatsoever.I will also say at the end of last summer we had flying insects that we could not get rid of and this really affects your life because when I called 1st American Pest Control to come out and take care of it and coming back to zero insects was really gratifying because we had put up with it so long having them completely gone and being back to normal was heavenly.It turns out the woodpeckers had pecked a hole in our wood siding and that's where they were getting in. These were flying little moths, beatles as well as flies. Of course these things can drive you nuts when you're trying to go about your day so thanks a lot 1st American Pest Control! ECO Tree Company has saved a number of trees on my properties - a red oak that was in trouble (they analyzed the problem and are treating it), a Japanese maple that was nearly dead (now back to life), and they're treating two ash trees to prevent damage from ash borer. They also safely removed an old oak tree that was beyond saving and replaced it with a white oak. I highly recommend them to keep your trees healthy.

My experience so far has far exceeded my expectations! Tree Health Maintenance was working at a neighbors house and I approached to ask some questions. They were friendly, open and knowledgeable so I contacted the company to set up an appointment. Taylor was thorough and prompt and got me set up with a visit from Nathan. The consultation with Nathan was an education in what my trees need to live a long heathy life. I learned things I can do on my own as well as what the company can do to help. There was -0- pressure to sign on the dotted line. In fact a proposal was delivered (as promised) the next day via email. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost and I’m looking forward to see how my trees improve in the months to come!

I was very impressed with the work they did for me which included tree removal, taking out 6 bushes and trimming very tall trees. They always cleaned up any shrubbery or residue before they left the work site. I would highly recommend them and would call upon them next time I need their services.

Dr. Kevin Greene and the whole team are amazing! Kevin is highly skilled, meticulous, and a master of his profession! Amazing at root canals and crowns , and can be done in 1 day! No pain during or even the next day at all. My daughter is a surgical tech at a hospital, and she knows how to spot a good surgeon. She also knows how I am such a picky guy, and it's hard for me to trust anyone, especially with my mouth. I'm so thankful that she recommended me to see Dr. Kevin Greene. This is the best chiropractic place I have ever been too and I have been to many. They take the time to listen to what's bothering you, adjust it, however you feel comfortable being adjusted, with the tools they have and amazing knowledge to give relief even after you leave. They're also very personable and caring. I take 4 kids there, they're all 5 and younger, and they are able to adjust them all with ease and keep them occupied so mommy can get adjusted too ? It's just all around a great place to go with super friendly staff! Also my kids don't always want to be adjusted because it's "scary" but they are able to adjust my kids, without my kids even knowing they're being adjusted, just by Dr. Richie doing fun activities with them. AWESOME STAFF AND AWESOME CARE HANDS DOWN!!! ?

Around 8 years ago, I injured my left foot while wearing a new pair of shoes on a trip abroad. I know, that's a stupid thing to do! I kept thinking that the injury will heal on its own, but it never got better. The injury ended up causing all kinds of other issues up the left side of my body. Years later, I was in constant pain and I started to forget the non-pain state of my body used to feel like. I found Dr Aberle online. For my initial session, I thought that I would be in for a lot of traditional chiropractic adjustments. Not having any experience being treated with chiropractic adjustments, I was pretty scared to enter his clinic. He explained to me that he wouldn't be doing any adjustments for the complaints I came in for, because he believed that the laser treatments can fix the issues. I was quite skeptical at this point in the appointment, but I decided to give it a try. After the first treatment, I was amazed with the results. Soon after the first treatment, I made an appointment for laser session specifically targeting my foot issues. My foot pain was completely gone after the second treatment. I was able to walk without having to take my shoes off and massage the spots, so I can finish my walk. I was able to go on long hikes all throughout the summer months. I highly recommend Dr Aberle and his laser treatments for pain throughout your body. Thank you, Dr Aberle!

Hip with FAI and advanced arthritis, surgeons stated not repairable needed THR. Couldn't walk without pain, hard to sleep.After 3 sessions of prp no pain at all with day-to-day tasks, 0 pain at night, hip hasn't felt this good in 18 months....not sure how long this will last, but Alecia gets it done! But even if it is only temporary I'm enjoying the relief from what was Chronic pain!
I visited Lifecity lake edge clinic today for the first time and was very impressed by Dr Bird! He helped get me feeling better and was very knowledgeable and great about explaining what he was doing! I will be back!
They saved our little puppy! The expertise in Dr Matt is incredible, and the whole staff are nothing but nice, thoughtful, and compassionate. They have made us feel safe and comfortable throughout everything, and not once has made us feel pressured to do anything we didn't feel right with. Such a great vet! (Plus they allow the option to text vet questions, when calling is sometimes some of us millennials struggle with).
Went to Dr. Jenny at Healthy Pet Vet Clinic. I had to put my cat down, and her and her team were so great. They were kind, empathetic, gentle, caring, and so supportive. I have never loved a clinic and veterinarian so much. I will be going there for all of my future vet needs. It is also a very reasonably priced place, 10/10 recommend.
Dr. Kohn is fantastic. If your pet is sick and needs help, please call him. He will give them the attention they need and deserve and use his decades of experience to really help them. We are so glad we found him for our kitty, Lucy. He quite literally gave her relief after just one visit to him. (After weeks of getting nowhere fast with a different vet).There's no pushing for un-needed auto-ship subscriptions here or for unnecessary procedures, just a genuine desire to help our animals. My husband and I are so grateful for all he did for our Lucy and us.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. The saying on their website: "we know your pets are family, we treat them that way" couldn't be more accurate. I took my sweet boxer Charlee here for the past 3 years and the care she received from day one was beyond incredible. While Charlee was easy to love, she had a lot of medical needs and the entire team was there not just to treat her, but to love and care for her as if she were their own. The entire team was incredible throughout and provided wonderful service, but a very special thanks and recommendation to Dr. Kate Waushabaugh and Georgia who went above and beyond for Charlee, and myself. Charlee was in the best hands...from routine care, emergencies and up to the point to when she fell asleep in this world. I trusted their care, their opinion, their service. Their primary goal is to give the best care possible and so it never felt transactional, insensitive or for profit. Dr. Kate spent countless hours with me talking, researching and extending kindness that I'm sure I can't ever repay just to give Charlee the best possible care - however we got there. Even when it came time to say goodbye, Dr. Kate stayed with us, and then walked us out without ever blinking an eye about the details. That kind of peace of mind she provided is priceless. I can't say the same for other places in the area, hence this review. There is no other place I would have trusted more with my most loved pet , and will continue to do so in the future as well. I would recommend A Breed Apart and their entire staff to anyone that is ever looking for the best, honest, thorough and beyond loving care for their furry family member.
Irongate Equine is professional, honest, and empathetic. They care very much about their clients and horses. I’ve had a 10+ year relationship with Irongate and wouldn’t go anywhere else. They’ve helped me with lameness issues, pre-purchases, emergencies, and overall health of my horse. I’m thankful they are my vet and appreciate all of the extra time they spend explaining different procedures, evaluations, etc so I feel I can make the right choice.
Northside Animal Hospital has been great with all of my pets. One of my cats was diagnosed with cancer about a year ago and they have been so supportive. I recommend Northside anytime a friend is looking for a new veterinary clinic.

Had a great experience with Dr. Lara, she's so good with my lab, Lilly (14 yo) and helped me understand her care plan and how to do some things at home (stretches/massage). It's easy to get in, great communication and I feel like I have a real plan to help my old lady with her arthritis in her golden years ❤️
I feel that Dr. Marcus really cares about my dogs wellness and he communicates what I can do to help her very clearly. My dog had some trauma to one of her rear legs and we've seen more success with this holistic approach than with traditional veterinary care. I certainly feel that we are in good hands and that my dog feels better after each of our visits.
P&Claws has been a welcome addition to my pets lives. The pandemic threw a lot of challenges our way, including our pets health. I trust them with something very very precious to me. You should too. Jeff
Hands down the best experience I have ever had at a vet. Everyone here really cares about cats and it shows. The exam rooms are designed with cats in mind and it really makes a difference. My kitty had dental work done and I was a nervous wreck the entire time. The staff was patient with me and gave me updates while she was under, which I really appreciated. I had a clerical issue with my bill and it was corrected quickly. Overall wonderful place with wonderful people!
They have been wonderful. They also have an exotic pets vet for our Chinchilla and hamster.
Dr. Wheeler is an outstanding vet. She listens to our concerns and patiently addresses them. At our Bernedoodle's first puppy checkup we knew we had the perfect vet both for him and for us. Today was his one year checkup. The doctor and her technician, Megan, made it a fun visit for an excitable and wiggly 72 pound boy. Whole Pet Veterinary has larger, more comfortable checkup rooms than the typical clinics and that helps to make the visit less stressful.
In my experiences, they've been great. In total , I've taken 8 cats there to get fixed. They'll call you with any concerns about your pet and let you know as soon as they're out of surgery. It's very affordable, especially compared to the vets in my area and they do just as good, if not better.
Emma at Serenity Spa did such a good job with my Frenchie. This was her 1st experience at a groomers and we absolutely love it.
I was really pleased with the job Sam did on Schatzi. She was efficient, friendly and did exactly what I wanted. She got us in and out in a timely fashion without me feeling she rushed.

Overall, great service! However, the wait for appointment can be a bit long sometimes. I know she keeps busy, so I try to remember that, but with having to come during work, I wish when I arrive the dogs would be helped. Maybe will change with COVID restrictions being eliminated!
I love inner fire yoga! I have tried a few other studios, but nothing comes close to IFY! I feel welcomed, accepted, and inspired each time I visit.
It's been a while since I've attended any yoga classes anywhere, but many years ago I suffered a knee injury while snowboarding, and once I as able to walk again I found the best things for getting my body back into balance were light swimming/walking in a lake or pool, ankle weights for strengthening my leg muscles, and yoga at InfiniteFlow with Kiro. The space in calm and inviting, Kiro is very knowledgeable and kind, and his more gentler style of flow yoga was perfect for what I needed at that time as apposed to a hot yoga or faster flow yoga. Kiro has been teaching for quite a while, and his experience is reflected in his yoga classes. I highly recommend his classes for both those just getting into yoga and those more experienced!
Brooke is an incredibly knowledgeable Pilates Instructor with a wonderful eye for detail! I learned a lot from working with her in one session. (I was only here for a day). She has a wonderfully engaging personality and even though I was working hard for the entire session, the fun factor was present the whole time! The studio is clean and well appointed. If I am this way again, I’ll definitely be returning!! Thank you Brooke for a wonderful session!!

Solidcore pushes you (in a good way) to go further than you typically would on your own. It also works muscles I didn't know I had.
I joined last winter and have enjoyed the new routine quite a bit. The classes are a nice balance of relaxing and challenging and I do feel stronger in my abs and glutes.
