The Head Spa Ritual with Tanya was a divine experience. I was so deeply relaxed and felt so cared for. She made my hair healthy again. He didn't rush the job at all, he put a ton of effort into the details and made sure everything was perfect. I just moved from the east to west side of Madison and was looking for a new nail place; I ended up going to Lumiere Nails with two friends who were in town for the weekend. Everything was very bright and cheerful, the techs were all very nice and professional, and the service was excellent! They were very accommodating about one of my friend’s requests for some french tips even though she hadn’t specified that in her initial booking, and my nails came out looking super cute. Will definitely be coming back here in the future ?

The Shop was great. It was my first time there for a special manicure for a trip. I got sick of other nail salons not properly curing gel, and being sloppy so I found The Shop and was blown away with their care and quality of gel polish. Not only did Daphne match my Pinterest inspiration, she took her time and assured the manicure was done to perfection. Highly recommend !

I have been struggling with finding a stylist for the last few years after moving. My daughter recommended Kristina Rex and it was a lovely experience. She is a great person and an excellent hairstylist. I would recommend her to anyone. Her Salon was decorated beautifully and she listened to all my needs and wants and I went out of there with a great haircut and I intend to go back.

I had a great experience with Tami. She is very knowledgeable and especially understands how to treat darker skin tones. When I first came to her, I was struggling with acne, and with her help my skin has cleared up so much. Now we are focusing on treating my hyperpigmentation. She explained that it is a longer process, but it is definitely possible with the right treatment plan and consistency.
Tami is also very kind and supportive. I really appreciate that she takes the time to answer my questions and even responds to my texts on weekends, which shows how much she cares about her clients. I’m very happy with my progress so far and highly recommend her to anyone looking for professional and caring skincare treatment.
What a great place to get a facial! And very decently priced too for a facial. The website is easy to use and book. The facial room is so warm and cozy, the bed is a heated bed and there's a nice blanket on top. My facial made me feel smooth and clean! When I arrived, she was ready and waiting. She gave me an overview of what to expect, we went over my current skincare routine, and she did a skin analysis. She offers complimentary soft drinks, which is another plus. My facial was so relaxing, I fell asleep. My skin was smooth and glowing immediately after. After the visit, Latia will send you after care instructions as well as you skin analysis and recommendations for how to maximize current products and incorporate a few other necessary steps to meet your goals. She even went the extra mile and reached out a week later to see how my skin was doing. I’ve already booked my next appointment. Her prices are affordable, she’s a black woman with her own business and she is on a mission to make skin care accessible for all. I highly recommend Latia, and plan to continue to visit for regular facials and to discuss some chemical peels moving forward.

Kita at Blue Lotus Tattoo and The Piercing Lounge used her own time to fabricate a tool that allows me to remove my nose piercing with one hand. She was so kind and patient with me as we practiced using the tool until I got it. She made modifications and was so knowledgeable. She went above and beyond. I'm so grateful for her.
Been here a couple times and have seen Kylie (guest artist here regularly.) She does an absolutely incredible job and even on my incomplete piece I've gotten SO many compliments. I gave her quite a bit of creative freedom anf the design she showed me was somehow EXACTLY what I wanted (wizardry, I tell you.) I can't wait to get the full piece completed. The shop itself is clean and well organised and the other people I've met have just been lovely and their work is excellent as well.

I found this company via Reddit suggestions (recommended for their honesty, pricing, communication, etc.) and called regarding a question about my sump pump. It was continuously cycling and, because the previous owner had a basement flood issue related to the sump pump, we were extra anxious. The man I spoke with was extremely helpful and talked me through what it could be and how to assess the situation myself, educating me thoroughly without being condescending (which can be so rare in these situations, especially as a female calling for assistance). He clearly wanted to help me understand the sump pump as a homeowner and avoid paying for something that was unnecessary. They didn't come out but not because he wouldn't, as he said to call back if what we discussed didn't work. This experience easily could have been so much more negative, but because of how it went, we will absolutely be going to Mark's Reddi Rooter for any further plumbing services!!

This is the second time that we've had this company out. The first time was an emergency situation, the second a leaking garbage disposal. Once again, beyond pleased with the service, the speed, and the price.

We had a sewer back-up on Saturday. I called and within an hour he was at our house. Some are saying it was expensive, but I have to say, researching prices, he was below the average, and didn't try to up-sell us on anything. Further, maintenance fees were also under average for the area and he gave us some hints on how to help reduce the problem from happening again. Overall very happy and his customer service was above and beyond. Can't be happier.

Dennis and I absolutely love the new shower!! From the estimate to the end of the project everything went smoothly. The installation team was on time, clean and very friendly. The coordinator stopped by a few times to see if they needed anything. This was the best retail experience I’ve had in a long time. Don’t bother calling the people that do all the commercials. Monona plumbing was less than half their price.

We were in a bit of panic after straight line winds in April wrecked our neighborhood which took down a tree and bent the electrical mast on our roof. Mike got us scheduled quickly and Shaun, Gabe, and Anthony were at our house within an hour that morning. If you need knob and tube upgraded to code (or just normal outlets and light switches...), Harmony is the group to work with! They know what they're doing and did a great job replacing our entire house. They are honest and also well priced in comparison to the other quotes we got. They did a nice job overall. My one complaint is that they left a decent amount of scraps from the electrical work done in our basement, but they were very tidy in the rest of our house, so I'm not bothered. I would hire them again for this work in a heartbeat.

We hired Scott Kiel Electric for a kitchen remodel and a panel upgrade. After taking a bunch of quotes, they seemed liked they cared the most about doing a great job and they were actually the most affordable. This, combined with the quality of work that we ended up with have resulted in our highest recommendation. Nathanial found and corrected so many issues that the previous installer (who was either not an electrician or a terrible one) had made. He made sure our house was safe and took the time to show and explain to us clearly any issues that arose. Nathanial is the best and you can tell how much he cares about his work. I think our house had one of the worst electrical situations possible, and I think it would be rare to find other electricians in the state who could have handled the job as expertly as Nathanial and Scott did. Every inspector that came to our house also commented on how nice a job they did!

It's great that each time I can just call him out to do a bunch of work and not have to get 3 estimates every time or worry about over paying for poor work. Dan has helped us figure things out too, sometimes the ideal option isn't the most cost effective and it's good to have options. Just had our antique, hand-knotted Nichols wool rug 9 x 12 and the same-sized pad cleaned by Premier. Amazing service (pick up and delivery) and the results are superb. (Our dog had up-chucked(!) on it; I thought it was ruined.) So pleased. It's the third time we've gone to them over the past decade and they continue to impress. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Very happy with the wood floor replacement in my kitchen. Jeremy, Jason and Ben did a great job. From contacting Jeff online to having a finished floor took a little over a month. Everyone was great about updating me with days and times when parts of the project would be done.

My partner and I went here to pick up bona products for our floor DIY. The customer service is OUTSTANDING! Not only did they help us select the right products, the color and finish that we’d like, they also gave us a tutorial on how to best apply the products.

Our entire first floor was hardwood, aside from the kitchen floor tile. Madison Hardwood Floors refinished the original hardwoods and installed new hardwoods in the kitchen. I cannot speak highly enough of Dahlia. Between Alycia's eye for design and Jesse's contractor skills, my wife and I couldn't be happier with our recent upstairs remodel. We reached out to several companies before Dahlia, seeking ideas for how we could change the layout for our clunky primary suite. All of the companies supplied very surface level feedback with little inspiration. Then we reached out to Dahlia. Alycia and Jesse came up with an amazing plan that really improved the use of our space, and when we hired them to perform the work, the follow-through was tremendous. They gave us a timeline up front, letting us know exactly what work would be done on which days over a three-month span. Sure enough, they hit every deadline (or finished early). Additionally, as we chatted with some of the subcontractors, they, too, had nothing but praise for Alycia and Jesse, commending them for being so amazing to work with. In short, before the primary suite was finished, my wife and I were already thinking ahead for the next renovation project that we'll be hiring Dahlia to tackle. My garage was damaged by a neighbor driving their car into it. Christensen Construction was easy to work with, had all the insurance and credentials I needed to know the work was legit. They took care of their employees with porta potties. Everyone I worked with was kind and friendly from estimate to subcontractors. The garage door people helped make sure the openers and keypad still worked. The associate doing the work was so polite. My garage was open to the elements for quite a while. I tried to keep it tidy for the work to be smooth, but it ended up in a pile off the side - the associate not only cleaned up the construction area, but swept up the whole garage. It was a kindness beyond what was expected and I really appreciated it. Thank you for the great service!

We could not be happier with the service from Sam and Barry at 1st American. I reached out to Barry initially as he’d helped me years prior when I lived in a condo that they serviced. I really valued his expertise and patience back then, and saved his information in case I ever needed his help again. Fast forward to 2025, my husband and I live in a 70 yr old house and quickly realized the 3 mice we managed to kill were just the beginning. Barry actually remembered me (and my dog!) and got me on the schedule quickly. In less than 6 months we have eliminated the mice activity indoors and now we’re simply managing the outdoor herd. I had a huge tree fall on my house and needed immediate emergency removal. (This was the morning after a major wind storm that took down many trees.)
I contacted Lundin Tree and they were at my house within the hour to assess the damage and start removal. They brought 2 cranes and started work immediately. Despite my high level of anxiety and worry, they were friendly, knowledgeable, calming, and very competent. They worked throughout the day to remove the damaged tree and all debris that had fallen in my front and backyards. This was an huge old silver maple and a very large job! And allowed me too keep as much or as little wood I wanted from the tree these guys were great too work with !
I was very impressed with the work they did for me which included tree removal, taking out 6 bushes and trimming very tall trees. They always cleaned up any shrubbery or residue before they left the work site. I would highly recommend them and would call upon them next time I need their services.
Our neighbor hired Stephenson to trim three very old trees that had a lot of dead limbs and branches. We let them drive into our backyard for access and safety. The crew were very respectful of our property and of us. We have a plastic drain cover that they put cones around to ensure they didn't drive over. They were great to work with. Our neighbor was very happy with the service and price.
Tree Health Management was able to diagnose issues with several trees and the treatment they provided was very effective - the trees are healthy again and doing great. The arborist was very knowledgeable and made useful recommendations about tree care. Everyone who has provided service (trimming branches after a storm, spraying treatments for fungal infestations, etc) has been very professional, arrived on time, and considerate about avoiding exposure of bird feeders and pets to the spraying. I would definitely recommend them.

I've seen Dr. Ann Marie Dahl at Dahl Family Chiropractic several times over the years, most notably after a bike crash that left me dealing with a dislocated thumb and a painful shoulder injury. I had bad back spasms and a mutual friend recommended me to go to Dr Aberle. I had met him but never been to his place to be treated. Was I glad I went! My back spasms were debilitating and in a few sessions of the laser treatment and an adjustment from a different fried and I was back to normal! I have really benefited from the lasers in both my back and a couple of other old injuries where I am feeling greater freedom of movement than I can remember in years. Hands down the most helpful and effective chiropractor I've seen. Dr. Aaron was so thoughtful and engaging in his diagnosis and really took the time to help me feel better and understand what the cause of pain was. "Wendy is a gem" is what the person that referred me said about her and I couldn't agree more. I did something to my neck and had bouts of shooting pain starting in my neck for over a year. I did 6 months of physical therapy, massages, stretching, acupuncture, anything I could try to make it better! It all helped slightly but never went away. After talking through my history and checking things out, it was gone in a matter of 5 min with her adjustment! I had a bad experience with a chiropractor in the past and was hesitant but I agree that Wendy's much more gentle in her adjustment and I'm so happy I gave it a shot.

The staff at Lakeview got to know our dog Apple pretty well over the years through frequent health issues. They all took effective and compassionate care of her throughout her life, all the way to the end, calling to checkin on her wellbeing, and always keeping her needs at the forefront. Dr. Carrie is absolutely amazing. I have used other home euthanasia services, and while I can not speak a bad word about those services, Dr. Carrie and team go above and beyond. So respectful and compassionate. I was pleasantly surprised by the manner in which they transport your dearly departed, and the tokens of memorabilia that they gave after the service. To top it off, a week later, I received a beautiful card from the Arbor Day Foundation saying a tree was being planted in the Chippewa National Forest in tribute to our sweet girl. In a time that grief is making everything dark, Dr. Carrie's light shines right through.

Dr. Lynne has been seeing Millie for a few years now. Miss Millie had ear mites as a rescued kitten and some congestion. I was mostly interested in preventative care, keeping Millie healthy and happy for as long as possible. Most recently Millie was very phlegmy and Lynne cleared her sinuses in a way I didn’t know was possible! She had no phlegm or gurgles after one treatment! We love Dr. Lynne, her office is welcoming, she’s skilled and professional. Millie & I are grateful for her presence and her care!

Got our lil dude neutered here and they did a good job. Communication was good once I knew they showed up as a restricted number. They were friendly and took good care of our puppy.

I honestly can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Eastside Vet Clinic sooner. My wife and I have been bringing our pets to Joe and Chris for 14 years now. Over that time, they’ve cared for three of our dogs with consistent compassion, understanding, and professionalism.
They truly go above and beyond for their clients. One time, they even saved a trip for us by squeezing in a last-minute vaccination after we realized our pup’s immunizations expired just days before boarding. They are simply fantastic! If you’re on the far east side, you won't find a better vet!
UW vet school is the best, and i say this as someone that experienced a tragedy there. Our sweet rescue girl had taken a fall and been limping and lethargic for a month. We took her to our family’s vet who took xrays, did an exam, told us it looked like a torn ACL, and referred us to a very expensive specialist. I decided to make the 2 hour drive to the UW vet school instead. They got my girl in early and going by the xrays our family vet sent told us it was probably cancer and poor xray technique. They took one more and low and behold my sweet old ladies hip had been completely dissolved by extremely aggressive cancer. I cant thank UW vet school enough for, not only, telling me and showing me exactly what was going on, but also for giving me some time to grieve. My sweet girl is across the bridge now and out of pain. Our little friends just dont know how to tell us that they are pain the way we do. Thank you, again, UW vet school though i lost my shadow of a dog i gained a lot of faith in the vet school and especially the orthopedic dept.
Couldn't recommend this groomer more. Always super professional, and every employee is so kind. They love treating the dogs well, and keep them clean and happy. My dog always looks great after coming back and is always tired from so much play time!

I get my long haired cat groomed here by Steph and they are phenomenal. The first time I came here, they walked me through exactly what each grooming term meant, they never made me feel like I was inconveniencing them or that they were too busy to answer my questions. They were very patient with both me and my cat and did a spectacular job. I get my cat a lion cut, and Steph does an excellent job every time. They will want to speak with you to make sure they understand what to do, and they take your pets health and happiness very seriously. I have had several groomers, and I WILL continue to go out of my way to bring my cat to Steph. Steph loves my cat, and my cat loves Steph. They very much pay extra attention to make sure you're getting exactly what you want. I have only gone twice so far, but this is far and away the best groomer I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. And I will continue to use them. Thank you, Steph!

I love this studio! I've been practicing here for a few years- it's a beautiful open studio with a friendly community. Perfect location for me as a student and great variety of classes and instructors.
I travel here a lot for work and this is a great studio right by all the hotels on the square. I had a great class with Anna and the studio is very clean and comfortable. I will definitely come back next time I’m in town.
It's been a while since I've attended any yoga classes anywhere, but many years ago I suffered a knee injury while snowboarding, and once I as able to walk again I found the best things for getting my body back into balance were light swimming/walking in a lake or pool, ankle weights for strengthening my leg muscles, and yoga at InfiniteFlow with Kiro. The space in calm and inviting, Kiro is very knowledgeable and kind, and his more gentler style of flow yoga was perfect for what I needed at that time as apposed to a hot yoga or faster flow yoga. Kiro has been teaching for quite a while, and his experience is reflected in his yoga classes. I highly recommend his classes for both those just getting into yoga and those more experienced!
My partner and I have been doing the introductory month and have explored many of the classes perennial has to offer.
All of the instructors are genuine and kind human beings who create a safe and welcoming environment to begin practicing yoga at whatever level you're coming in with.
So far, we've taken advantage of yin classes, flow (gentle and higher intensity rejuvenate), and a restore + nindra class at their Fitchburg location.
If I could change one thing, I'd love to see some of the more mental wellness/meditative focused classes come to the Garver location vs. Just being at Fitchburg. It's a bit of a drive for me, which makes it harder to take advantage of.

I was recovering from my tooth extraction and received a lymphatic drainage massage from Seth. It was felt very relaxing, Seth was very attentive and calming in the process. I really believed the massage helped with my recovery process because swelling wasn't too bad and pain had subside after the massage.
Lauri is fantastic, she is an excellent massage therapist who puts a ton of care and thought into her work. She was very kind and accommodating with scheduling and she carefully listened to my situation and did a really great job. Would highly recommend!

I take classes here, and the teachers are very dedicated; you're sure to benefit from them! They also offer massage treatments. The entire studio is unique, a blend of Thai and Japanese styles, and I especially love the large plants in the lounge.

I've been to D-Chai several times in the past. The most recent visit was a couples massage for my husband and I on my birthday. It was glorious. We went to the wrong door (I didn't know they recently expanded to the spot next door), and waited around for a while but the kind masseuse came over to get us. We had an hour long massage together and both of us left D-Chai feeling like the inside of a lava cake. Melty, warm, gooey and delicious. My body felt brand new after this massage. Connie was my masseuse and she found all of my problem areas and gently but thoroughly worked them out. It was an absolutely lovely birthday massage and I will keep going back again and again.

I went to Robb for the first time last week. He is fantastic! He was great at communicating the process as well as giving me tidbits of knowledge about why certain muscles and areas were sore and stressed. The intake process was also thorough, with Robb making sure he knew of any injuries or areas to avoid. My upper back and neck have been feeling much better since the massage.
Dee gave me the best massage I have ever had! She knew exactly how to release my tense areas with the right amount of pressure while still incorporating relaxing techniques. She worked areas in my neck that I have not experienced in the past. Her space is so warm and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

I went to her for pelvic floor PT for some concerns I was having and she made the entire thing as easy as it could be! 10/10 recommend this PT clinic to everyone for how incredible they are! To make a very long story short, over about a 5 year span I had a simple slip and fall and broke my back, ~2 years later stepped in a flooded pothole and broke my hip, had post surgical drug complications that caused me to collapse and break my femur. My former PCP ordered only token PT . He deemed me "ineligible" for intensive PT, providing no explanation whatsoever. My employer's health insurance helped me find a new PCP and Integrated Physical Therapy. Thanks to Michael Griggs at Integrated PT what could have been a disaster turned into recovery. I will always have chronic pain but Michael has me back up and functioning beyond all expectations. He knows how and when to push and he knows when to pull back, it's as simple as that. Michael and all at IPT are dedicated miracle workers. The epitome of professionalism. No gimmicks, no trendy do dads, just dedicated determination, hard work, encouragement and all authorized and approved by my private health insurance. I have the highest respect and admiration for Michael Griggs and the FANTASTIC people at Integrated Physical Therapy.
I have had my knees injected. Before the injections I was in a lot of pain I couldn't sit for long or stand with out my knees hurting. After the injections I walk with no pain and sit,stand. I can even run again. This is the best thing to happen to me.
