He didn't rush the job at all, he put a ton of effort into the details and made sure everything was perfect. Denise does a great job. She has been cutting hair for more than 20 years. Early bird prices from 7 to 9am. Hours are 7am to 2:45pm Monday thru Thursday. Friday 7am to noon.
Staff is super nice went for two monthes straight and they always have had clean beds and space. They're fast and almost always have a bed open. Have gone here year after year. Always recommended them. My boyfriend has gone with me a few times and has loved it as well.

Tory was super friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. We came in hoping to use a promotion, and she not only explained it clearly, but also took the time to walk us through the different spray tan options. We hadn’t been fans of our previous spray tans, but she listened to our concerns and gave great recommendations to help us get the results we were looking for.

adorable tortoise shell nails:) i was a walk in and they did a wonderful job, especially for such a tricky design. third time here and grateful. These were a fill + design, came out to about $103 including tip, which i do think is a lot since on their website an acrylic fill is $55 but again the design is a bit intense and i don’t know much about nail pricing so maybe its a good price.
Had my first manicure on Wednesday, wonderful experience. I needed a soak off, then learned a of new process for my ‘original’ nails instead of acrylic. I’m so incredibly happy! Got my favorite color; Pompae purple

Phenix Salon is a nice building. Inside entrance is nice & welcoming. Love the water feature on the wall when you first walk in. The place offers people to open their own salons within the building which is great. So they have many different businesses inside that all are salons, barbers, massage, eyebrow & maybe facials 2. I have been getting my hair done @ My Studio inside Phenix for several years & have been following Dale for 30+ years. Unfortunately he is leaving the Phenix building this month & moving My Studio to Monona Dr. but I highly recommend checking out some of the other businesses inside Phenix Salon Suites. I have not personally tryed any of them but they seem to be good businesses. Otherwise look up My Studio on Monona Dr. for a great hair salon.

Serena is a great colorist; she really knows her technical stuff about cut and color! She listens to what I have to say, then out of that nonsense, makes my hair look great. Plus, she's a really good human being, so it's enjoyable spending time with her.

I had a great experience with Tami. She is very knowledgeable and especially understands how to treat darker skin tones. When I first came to her, I was struggling with acne, and with her help my skin has cleared up so much. Now we are focusing on treating my hyperpigmentation. She explained that it is a longer process, but it is definitely possible with the right treatment plan and consistency.
Tami is also very kind and supportive. I really appreciate that she takes the time to answer my questions and even responds to my texts on weekends, which shows how much she cares about her clients. I’m very happy with my progress so far and highly recommend her to anyone looking for professional and caring skincare treatment.

When I arrived, she was ready and waiting. She gave me an overview of what to expect, we went over my current skincare routine, and she did a skin analysis. She offers complimentary soft drinks, which is another plus. My facial was so relaxing, I fell asleep. My skin was smooth and glowing immediately after. After the visit, Latia will send you after care instructions as well as you skin analysis and recommendations for how to maximize current products and incorporate a few other necessary steps to meet your goals. She even went the extra mile and reached out a week later to see how my skin was doing. I’ve already booked my next appointment. Her prices are affordable, she’s a black woman with her own business and she is on a mission to make skin care accessible for all. I highly recommend Latia, and plan to continue to visit for regular facials and to discuss some chemical peels moving forward.

The latest incident stemmed from a problem created by a questionable plumber hired by a contractor I used and Capitol Plumbing came to the rescue! I called them at 6:30 a.m. on a Monday, and by mid-day, Jake had fixed the problem and life was good. I really appreciate these guys. Very Happy Customer!

We had a sewer back-up on Saturday. I called and within an hour he was at our house. Some are saying it was expensive, but I have to say, researching prices, he was below the average, and didn't try to up-sell us on anything. Further, maintenance fees were also under average for the area and he gave us some hints on how to help reduce the problem from happening again. Overall very happy and his customer service was above and beyond. Can't be happier.
Triggs provided fast and professional service at a reasonable rate. They replaced an outside faucet and a refrigerator water line for me. I would definitely call then again and recommend them to others.
While visiting my son in Madison, his sewer backed up. Monona Plumbing came out a short time after we called, to help us out. The technicians placed a Borescope camera down into a couple of different drain pipes to find and diagnose the extent of the blockage. Then they proceeded with a flex rooter to clean out all of the buildup that was blocking the drain. They followed up again with the camera to ensure the pipe was clean and intact.
They were very pleasant and thorough, doing great work.
The office staff were also very kind and helpful.
Called 5 different plumbing companies. 4 of them were not very friendly. 3 couldn't come out for 3 days and 1 for a week. Called HJ and the guy was very friendly over the phone and said they could come out today. The repair guy was also very friendly.

Worked with Joe to upgrade our service and install a new panel. He was super responsive, and provided both solid advice and a fair price. Our work required coordination with the utility, and he was always proactive about making sure that was happening. Work was done on time, exceeded our expectations, and came in right on budget. We would definitely use Larson again for any future projects.
If you need knob and tube upgraded to code (or just normal outlets and light switches...), Harmony is the group to work with! They know what they're doing and did a great job replacing our entire house. They are honest and also well priced in comparison to the other quotes we got. They did a nice job overall. My one complaint is that they left a decent amount of scraps from the electrical work done in our basement, but they were very tidy in the rest of our house, so I'm not bothered. I would hire them again for this work in a heartbeat.
Helping Hands is great! They gave me a very useful and reasonably priced range of proposals for repairing and upgrading a large number of dimmer switches to accommodate LED bulbs. They performed the work well, on time, and on a split schedule for our convenience. Excellent service!

He's great to work with, incredibly knowledgeable, and skilled at what he does. If you have an older home with potentially complicated electrical work, these are your guys. Dan has done work for us numerous times over the years and he always has good quality and reasonable pricing. Off the top of my head, 4 ceiling fans, numerous new outlets, 5 interior light fixture swaps, exterior light replacements, installed shop lighting, kitchen vent hood, bathroom exhaust fans. It's great that each time I can just call him out to do a bunch of work and not have to get 3 estimates every time or worry about over paying for poor work. Dan has helped us figure things out too, sometimes the ideal option isn't the most cost effective and it's good to have options. We had a wonderful experience with Hill Electric. After another company stood us up, Hill got us on the schedule quickly. Shane arrived on time, early in the morning, and worked incredibly skillfully and efficiently on a task that turned out to be much more involved than initially expected. And after all of that, the bill was reasonable. I'm very grateful for Hill's (and especially Shane's) work and care, and will definitely be calling them the next time I need electrical help.
I have a Schlage 9691T key fob for my apartment in Miami, Florida, and I couldn’t find anyone locally who could duplicate it. After some research, I found CloneMyKey on Google and decided to reach out. I exchanged a few emails with a representative, who was very helpful and answered all my questions.
I decided to give it a try, I mailed my fob on Monday and had it back by Wednesday. The turnaround time was incredibly fast!

This is the second time we have used Premier Rug Washing. We had a wool rug that needed repair and cleaning. Can’t even tell where the runs were. Stains all gone from our puppy. So we called Trent again for two rugs. One had wine spilled on it and the other rug had stains from our dog. The rugs came back bright and clean. Can’t tell where stains were on either rug. Jared and his team did a great job. The consultation was thorough and very informative for people who’ve never gotten floors replaced before. They were in and out in no time and got in to replace the carpet in just over a week. We're so impressed with Imperial Wood Floors and our newly refinished hardwood floor. They were easy to communicate with, on time exactly as scheduled, efficient, and careful about hanging plastic sheets to protect personal items. Furthermore, we're thankful that Jeff came out to give me a quote and suggested we go with the clear varnish rather than stain, so the wood would look lighter than our amber-colored cabinets. This was huge because I called another Madison company for a quote, and they gave me a price for the regular stain without coming out to see the house first, and it would've been totally the wrong color. Finally, our floor had been scratched, stained, faded, and neglected for twenty years, and now it looks absolutely brand-new and gorgeous. Definitely recommend these guys and will be calling them again in the future.

My partner and I went here to pick up bona products for our floor DIY. The customer service is OUTSTANDING! Not only did they help us select the right products, the color and finish that we’d like, they also gave us a tutorial on how to best apply the products.

Our entire first floor was hardwood, aside from the kitchen floor tile. Madison Hardwood Floors refinished the original hardwoods and installed new hardwoods in the kitchen. I cannot speak highly enough of Dahlia. Between Alycia's eye for design and Jesse's contractor skills, my wife and I couldn't be happier with our recent upstairs remodel. We reached out to several companies before Dahlia, seeking ideas for how we could change the layout for our clunky primary suite. All of the companies supplied very surface level feedback with little inspiration. Then we reached out to Dahlia. Alycia and Jesse came up with an amazing plan that really improved the use of our space, and when we hired them to perform the work, the follow-through was tremendous. They gave us a timeline up front, letting us know exactly what work would be done on which days over a three-month span. Sure enough, they hit every deadline (or finished early). This past spring, SCS Building and Remodeling completed a large screen porch to replace the deck on the back of our house. They were very easy to work with and receptive to any ideas or changes. They’re honest and meticulous and obviously take great pride in their workmanship. The screen porch is beautiful, and we use it almost every day.
We also had them repair our front screen door, and last week a crew did a great job repairing a leak in our garage roof. They arrived on time and finished the job in a timely manner. Several years ago, they repaired some drywall water damage in our basement.

There's so many great things about Heartwood, first of which is they didn't pressure me for a review during or after service. It was never a consideration. They let the work speak for itself.
I didn't realize it at the time, but 2 of my 3 service dates were with the co-owners themselves which I found really refreshing. They didn't make a big deal out of it. The first was with Garrett, who took the time to discuss the different options I had for tree care. He actually measured the tree (not guesstimated like other people had) and we talked about pruning or replacement options. I appreciated his suggestions and went with a red maple. He sent an estimate that was on par with others I had. The last was with Brent, who planted the tree himself and answered the many questions I had. He was patient and kind. And he even replaced the brick wall around the tree site in question. I really appreciated that, as I have a back injury that would've made it difficult to do on my own.
There was some rescheduling, and for a moment they were out of stock on the tree I had ordered, but Brent was able to resolve the issue and source one for me. It's absolutely gorgeous. He took the time to explain how to care for the new tree and that they will follow up in the years to come. The company was highly responsive from giving me the quote to sending me the invoice. They are consummate professionals and I can't recommend them highly enough.
Wow! Evan and his crew just did a fantastic job removing two trees that were hanging over our and our neighbor's houses and were rotting at their roots. The team arrived on time, worked safely and quickly in a tight space between two houses, and performed all of the activities on their bid in less than the estimated time.

I had a huge tree fall on my house and needed immediate emergency removal. (This was the morning after a major wind storm that took down many trees.)
I contacted Lundin Tree and they were at my house within the hour to assess the damage and start removal. They brought 2 cranes and started work immediately. Despite my high level of anxiety and worry, they were friendly, knowledgeable, calming, and very competent. They worked throughout the day to remove the damaged tree and all debris that had fallen in my front and backyards. This was an huge old silver maple and a very large job! I was very impressed with the work they did for me which included tree removal, taking out 6 bushes and trimming very tall trees. They always cleaned up any shrubbery or residue before they left the work site. I would highly recommend them and would call upon them next time I need their services.
Our neighbor hired Stephenson to trim three very old trees that had a lot of dead limbs and branches. We let them drive into our backyard for access and safety. The crew were very respectful of our property and of us. We have a plastic drain cover that they put cones around to ensure they didn't drive over. They were great to work with. Our neighbor was very happy with the service and price.
We were concerned about a large and beautiful tree in our yard that had lost a couple of branches. We have not been sure how to best care for it since we moved into our home some years ago, and wanted to get a professional opinion on the health of the tree/a ongoing care plan for it.

This was my first visit with Dental Associates and Dr Schwitters after my dentist of 50+ years retired. I was very impressed with the entire experience. The best children's dental clinic in the Madison area. Receptionists are very courteous and quick. Dr Smyth is extremely patient with kiddos who have trouble with the dentist. The waiting area is fun, always impressionable and we have always been treated with LOTS of care. The surgery scheduler is extremely thorough as well. I HIGHLY recommend.

"Wendy is a gem" is what the person that referred me said about her and I couldn't agree more. I did something to my neck and had bouts of shooting pain starting in my neck for over a year. I did 6 months of physical therapy, massages, stretching, acupuncture, anything I could try to make it better! It all helped slightly but never went away. After talking through my history and checking things out, it was gone in a matter of 5 min with her adjustment! I had a bad experience with a chiropractor in the past and was hesitant but I agree that Wendy's much more gentle in her adjustment and I'm so happy I gave it a shot.

She is super friendly, attentive and always checks in on my overall health and puts care into understanding how she can best help me. The staff at Lakeview got to know our dog Apple pretty well over the years through frequent health issues. They all took effective and compassionate care of her throughout her life, all the way to the end, calling to checkin on her wellbeing, and always keeping her needs at the forefront. Dr. Carrie is absolutely amazing. I have used other home euthanasia services, and while I can not speak a bad word about those services, Dr. Carrie and team go above and beyond. So respectful and compassionate. I was pleasantly surprised by the manner in which they transport your dearly departed, and the tokens of memorabilia that they gave after the service. To top it off, a week later, I received a beautiful card from the Arbor Day Foundation saying a tree was being planted in the Chippewa National Forest in tribute to our sweet girl. In a time that grief is making everything dark, Dr. Carrie's light shines right through.

Went to Dr. Jenny at Healthy Pet Vet Clinic. I had to put my cat down, and her and her team were so great. They were kind, empathetic, gentle, caring, and so supportive. I have never loved a clinic and veterinarian so much. I will be going there for all of my future vet needs. It is also a very reasonably priced place, 10/10 recommend.

Dr. Lynne has been seeing Millie for a few years now. Miss Millie had ear mites as a rescued kitten and some congestion. I was mostly interested in preventative care, keeping Millie healthy and happy for as long as possible. Most recently Millie was very phlegmy and Lynne cleared her sinuses in a way I didn’t know was possible! She had no phlegm or gurgles after one treatment! We love Dr. Lynne, her office is welcoming, she’s skilled and professional. Millie & I are grateful for her presence and her care!

I honestly can’t believe I haven’t reviewed Eastside Vet Clinic sooner. My wife and I have been bringing our pets to Joe and Chris for 14 years now. Over that time, they’ve cared for three of our dogs with consistent compassion, understanding, and professionalism.
They truly go above and beyond for their clients. One time, they even saved a trip for us by squeezing in a last-minute vaccination after we realized our pup’s immunizations expired just days before boarding. They are simply fantastic! If you’re on the far east side, you won't find a better vet!
UW vet school is the best, and i say this as someone that experienced a tragedy there. Our sweet rescue girl had taken a fall and been limping and lethargic for a month. We took her to our family’s vet who took xrays, did an exam, told us it looked like a torn ACL, and referred us to a very expensive specialist. I decided to make the 2 hour drive to the UW vet school instead. They got my girl in early and going by the xrays our family vet sent told us it was probably cancer and poor xray technique. They took one more and low and behold my sweet old ladies hip had been completely dissolved by extremely aggressive cancer. I cant thank UW vet school enough for, not only, telling me and showing me exactly what was going on, but also for giving me some time to grieve. My sweet girl is across the bridge now and out of pain. Our little friends just dont know how to tell us that they are pain the way we do. Thank you, again, UW vet school though i lost my shadow of a dog i gained a lot of faith in the vet school and especially the orthopedic dept.

Jennifer was amazing! She got us in for an appointment super fast and just did an incredible job on both of my dogs. I love inner fire yoga! I have tried a few other studios, but nothing comes close to IFY! I feel welcomed, accepted, and inspired each time I visit.
It's been a while since I've attended any yoga classes anywhere, but many years ago I suffered a knee injury while snowboarding, and once I as able to walk again I found the best things for getting my body back into balance were light swimming/walking in a lake or pool, ankle weights for strengthening my leg muscles, and yoga at InfiniteFlow with Kiro. The space in calm and inviting, Kiro is very knowledgeable and kind, and his more gentler style of flow yoga was perfect for what I needed at that time as apposed to a hot yoga or faster flow yoga. Kiro has been teaching for quite a while, and his experience is reflected in his yoga classes. I highly recommend his classes for both those just getting into yoga and those more experienced!
My partner and I have been doing the introductory month and have explored many of the classes perennial has to offer.
All of the instructors are genuine and kind human beings who create a safe and welcoming environment to begin practicing yoga at whatever level you're coming in with.
So far, we've taken advantage of yin classes, flow (gentle and higher intensity rejuvenate), and a restore + nindra class at their Fitchburg location.
If I could change one thing, I'd love to see some of the more mental wellness/meditative focused classes come to the Garver location vs. Just being at Fitchburg. It's a bit of a drive for me, which makes it harder to take advantage of.
Taylor teaches great classes and is good at pushing us through the hard parts.

The instructors and great and the classes are challenging but effective! Coming here freshly postpartum was intimidating but everyone is very welcoming and non judge mental. Also their bathroom is stocked with high-end toiletries!
The place was kinda hard to get find, but the receptionist made great effort to help me find it over the phone. Unfortunately they needed me to make an account and needed my email and this and that and all sorts of stuff just got a gift card I was paying cash to get. Seems like a helluva lotta hassle for what should be pretty simple transaction. But service was friendly and professional.

I take classes here, and the teachers are very dedicated; you're sure to benefit from them! They also offer massage treatments. The entire studio is unique, a blend of Thai and Japanese styles, and I especially love the large plants in the lounge.

I've been to D-Chai several times in the past. The most recent visit was a couples massage for my husband and I on my birthday. It was glorious. We went to the wrong door (I didn't know they recently expanded to the spot next door), and waited around for a while but the kind masseuse came over to get us. We had an hour long massage together and both of us left D-Chai feeling like the inside of a lava cake. Melty, warm, gooey and delicious. My body felt brand new after this massage. Connie was my masseuse and she found all of my problem areas and gently but thoroughly worked them out. It was an absolutely lovely birthday massage and I will keep going back again and again.

When I started coming to see Samee I had pain in my leg that never seemed to quit. Our giant schnauzer pulls when we walk him and apparently it had taken a toll on my leg. I have been seeing her on a regular basis for several months for leg work. I'm pain free in my leg and can finally get a good night's sleep. Laura N. is my go-to at Unfurl! Besides some massages and body work from chronic back pain and over-worked muscles, Laura has used a new technique called Nasal Release. I have been a mouth breather my whole life and she informed me of the negatives of mouth breathing. I read a book that she recommended and proceeded to see an ENT just to see what he saw as far as the structure of my nose. He rated a deviated septum 7/10, 1 being the best. Of course he suggested surgery right away and gave no other options like most traditional doctors do. Then Laura, being wonderful, learned this Nasal Release technique. It has changed my life! I had about 5 sessions with her in a span of 2 months and haven’t had one in 3 months because I haven’t needed one! I can breathe evenly through both nostrils! Thank you Laura!
I went to Robb for the first time last week. He is fantastic! He was great at communicating the process as well as giving me tidbits of knowledge about why certain muscles and areas were sore and stressed. The intake process was also thorough, with Robb making sure he knew of any injuries or areas to avoid. My upper back and neck have been feeling much better since the massage.
Dee gave me the best massage I have ever had! She knew exactly how to release my tense areas with the right amount of pressure while still incorporating relaxing techniques. I’ve worked with Spencer and Taylor and I highly recommend both! They helped me to continue running despite minor injuries and to correct muscle imbalances to keep me healthy through multiple training cycles.
To make a very long story short, over about a 5 year span I had a simple slip and fall and broke my back, ~2 years later stepped in a flooded pothole and broke my hip, had post surgical drug complications that caused me to collapse and break my femur. My former PCP ordered only token PT . He deemed me "ineligible" for intensive PT, providing no explanation whatsoever. My employer's health insurance helped me find a new PCP and Integrated Physical Therapy. Thanks to Michael Griggs at Integrated PT what could have been a disaster turned into recovery. I will always have chronic pain but Michael has me back up and functioning beyond all expectations. He knows how and when to push and he knows when to pull back, it's as simple as that. Michael and all at IPT are dedicated miracle workers. The epitome of professionalism. No gimmicks, no trendy do dads, just dedicated determination, hard work, encouragement and all authorized and approved by my private health insurance. I have had my knees injected. Before the injections I was in a lot of pain I couldn't sit for long or stand with out my knees hurting. After the injections I walk with no pain and sit,stand. I can even run again. This is the best thing to happen to me.
